I chose the A.M. Superfoods bowl. It has a coconut milk chia seed pudding. It was topped with bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and house made granola. They also give you toast with almond butter. The food was so fresh, the service was so nice. Allison was our server and she was quick and efficient, even with her having many tables. Grabbed brunch together as a family. We hadn't been together in a while and wanted to share a meal together. There were 7 of us in the party, one of which was a 2 year old. I got the tri-fecta and it did not disappoint. Others were pleased with what they got. My wife got some green leafy salad or something and she said it was just ok and didn't eat most of it. My daughter got the club and one bite had some gnarly tasting avacado but generally it was good. All in all, first watch didn't disappoint. Service wasn't that good as we had to ask for more coffee. Surprisingly, I had never been to First Watch. I had visited New Orleans and had breakfast at a hotel and had the best turkey sausage links in my life. I came back home and was on a hunt to find the links. After doing research, I found them at First Watch! On this visit, I had the tropical sunrise from the juice bar. It came packed with mango, pineapple, lime and strawberries and was oh so refreshing!! Definitely recommend. While checking into the restaurant there was an emergency and the hostess cleared the area to allow a clear path for the first responders. Brought everything back to its place and continued where she left off. Our waitress, Alexandra, was the sweetest and extremely kind. She listened closely while taking our orders and even suggested to add some menu items for a more enhanced tasted. I.visited early on New Year's Day. upon entering and stopping at the cash register the server who made eye contact with me just waved me off like I was a nobody. Another server came up from behind me. Made no apology for the less the cordial behavior, even though she witnessed how I was treated by the other young lady. It's really a shame how poorly a single senior citizens get treated anymore. For preface, I have been twice: once for their opening day and once on a separate day with a friend. And I have left both times completely satisfied with the food. First Watch is a popular chain, but one that was direly needed. The inside is small, but beautifully decorated to a modernistic look. Excellent as a place to go eat with friends or as a morning brunch date. Considering the high volume of people, the wait time is reasonable and the wait staff is both friendly, efficient, and knowledgable about the menu and foods. Now to get into the food specifics; everything is clearly made to order or made fresh that day. There's a clear attempt to make something not only fresh, but delicious. Their potatoes are one of my favorite things I've eaten there, and there's good reason for the raving I've heard for the breakfast tacos; the chorizo and egg are so well seasoned and go perfectly together. They also have this delicious whole grain artisanal bread that they serve with fresh jelly. This is all to say, the food is fresh, tasty, and served beautifully. The only thing I'd give a pass to here is the coffee (which I normally pass on at most places; I'm not much of a black coffee person) and their morning meditation drink. I don't think it was worth the price, much less it not being refillable. You're better off with some tea or another drink. Regardless, I will be coming back and will continue to do so. Went here twice so far. Once to just buy a gift card because it was packed and once for breakfast. We went for breakfast when they first opened. We were the second couple and had to ask for a booth twice as he tried to sit us at a table even asking for the booth. We were greeted right away by waitress and a trainer waiter. Both were very cordial. I order coffee and the hubby water. The had the traditional and I had the waffle minus the powdered sugar with extra cooked potatoes. The coffee tasted burnt for the 1st thing in the morning. Expected a fresher pot but it was probably sitting there a while. My food was great. The potatoes were just too my liking. The Hubby's meal on the other has several items that were not the right temperature. The bread was hard and cold. The bacon was sitting there as cold and oliy. The eggs were beyond cold. Liking his potatoes were like mine. great and crispy. When checking out the registers shut down for a good 7 minutes before then could get them up and running unless you were paying cash.
