Aesthetically pleasing at first glance didn't expect this restaurant in this location. We sat at the bar to order drinks and food. And to be honest i have mixed feelings. The drinks were good and they had a really good selection. The food was ok some dishes made me want me and some i would never have again. We tired the Jalapeños and for me that was a no there was too much cheese but it could be the type of cheese but it didn't work. Also had the stuffed plantain and that was a no as well. Once again too much cheese. And it was not stuffed it was layered si not what I expected. But the favorite was the polenta and Mahi everything in this dish was right and I would definitely go back for this. And maybe try the tacos.

Looking for a great happy hour restaurant, this is the best option because of the availability on the hours , just don't go on Wednesday because the are closed on Wednesday, which is very random day . Haha ! The drinks were so good the mango margarita were delicious and we had a two for one drinks , which is definitely enough for a good night with friends . The street corn was delicious too , and the server recommended it and make sure it wasn't spicy . Super nice and make sure to check up on us . Lounge style vibes maybe more for a late night out !

Tulum Prime has great appeal. My 1st impression when I walked in was "oh this is a cute spot!" The food was ok. They start you with chips & salsa. Felt the salsa bowl was a bit small (there were 3 of us at the table, so we went through the salsa pretty quickly). We ordered the Stuffed Plantain Cups (chicken) as an appetizer. Sounded mind blowing but did not have the wow factor we were expecting as far as taste (Presentation was on point though). For my entree, I had the Tacos of the Seas (grilled shrimp). They were mini tacos so perfect proportion. I was really looking forward to the mango pico de gallo that was described in the menu, but I really didn't pick up on the mango flavor, so that was a little disappointing. Cocktail: I had the Tulum Cafe, which is their version of an espresso martini. It was pretty good, as it had some cacao chips in it, so gave it a hint of chocolate taste. Ambiance: It was quiet when we first got there & we thought "man, a little background music would be nice"...they eventually did turn on the music & it was good, as it was at the right sound level. Overall, it was ok. I don't think I'll be back, but enjoyed my time with friends there.

Found a spot with a vibe!! Food was awesome, we had the Tulum Pina Maya, and the Prime Surf and Turf! Dessert was fire, Chimichanga Cheesecake!! Service was great, come see our new friend Sydnie! And they got Hookah, I'm all in!!

I mostly recommend this place. The problem is during the off-season, which apparently just started when I went there, they're only open a few days a week and with different hours than listed on Google. They were unable to make me the first two drinks that I requested as they did not have the proper ingredients, but we're super apologetic and offered substitutions. I would like to try some more of their food and drinks as what I got was tasty, but it just seems like a hit and miss until it gets back into snowbird season, but then of course I really don't want to go out and compete with the masses of old people and northerners. I did absolutely love the murals on the walls and the entrance way which looked like the entrance to secret cavern with the overgrown fake leaves. It was very picturesque.

The food was amazing very flavorful and filling. The second Margarita was better Mango. The first one had too much sour that made it tangy. The service was good. And the decor is cute and photo if vibe to it

Drinks are fire. But the wait time on getting another drink was insanely long. We got the Maiz Callejero for an appetizer & it was alright too much mayo and not enough cheese. Then we got the birria tacos callejero i give it a 5/10. The birria lacked seasoned but the sauce for it would make it a 6/10. But back to the drinks i got the margarita prickly pear and the passionfruit were delightful. Overall service was great. Loved the aesthetic. Waitress was 10/100. The service and the drink will have us for sure coming back.

We decided to come here for brunch after seeing many advertisements for this establishment. It seemed like such a hype and vibe but when we arrived it was a different kind of experience than we were expecting. Nonetheless; the restaurant is beautifully decorated with ample spots for cute pics, the service was good, and the food/drinks were ok. I will probably be returning to give their regular menu a try.

Our first visit was enjoyable! The restaurant was beautiful and the vibe was everything! The service was okay. I'm thinking the waiter hadn't been working there for too long because he was unable to recommend anything or tell us about the drink specials. The margaritas werent the best I've had, but they were good. I'd return to try more tthough. We tried the Birria Tacos. They were okay. It was our first time ever having Birria Tacos. The rice and beans were delicious and small cheese quesadilla on the side was delicious. It had a sweet taste to it. I look forward to visiting again to try other food items on the menu. Night and day. Outside is part of a strip mall but inside is quite impressive. Grass walls, neon signs, paintings in tribute to tullum Mexico and more. They have a live dj and apparently this restaurant turns into a night club or lounge overnight. It's close toala movie theater so you could definitely plan a decent night out. The only negative is the quesadilla were only 2 and didnt have much taste as well as the avocado toast guacamole wasn't very good-i think they were running out because one of the toast didn't have any. Although the steak and eggs were great. The food is an after thought it seems. Also drinks are 15-20, so the price is about the same as a meal. So. Ambience/host+server staff is 5 stars but food and beverages around a 3.

I really had high hopes for this restaurant. I'm a local and when I saw they painted a beautiful mural along the place it called my name. I came in on Saturday April 8th; they opened at 1:00 pm and I arrived at 1:24 and was seated immediately. As soon as we sat down our waitress informed my guest and I "there were no menu items available only appetizers and drinks and the kitchen would be open around 2:00 or 2:30". This threw me off because they opened at 1:00 pm. So we decided to stick around and have a few appetizers and drinks. We decided to order the stuffed plantain cups with shredded chicken only to hear they had no shredded chicken or birra tacos. Therefore, more and more disappointed. 10 minutes went buy and she told me they could do the plantain cups with the chicken; and we also ordered an order of the Tulum wings with the mango habanero. I didn't have an issue with our waitress she was attentive and frequently filled up are drinks and salsa. Salsa and chips were complimentary but nothing special. 45 minutes went buy and are food arrived. Presentation was beautiful they know how to present there food well. I'll start off with the plantain cups with shredded chicken. The whole thing was pretty dry, the cups were definitely not home made they had to have been store bought. The habanera wings appetizer was really good for the most part. It came with 10 wings about 3 of them were completely overcooked and tough though (not edible) But, the overall flavor AMAZING! The sauce was IT! They give you a huge thing of crema/sour cream in the middle not sure why but I think they should put whatever sauce your wings are some extra in the middle instead of crema. We basically wanted to drown are wings in the sauce so we just asked for a side of the sauce. Little did we know we would be charged $4.00 for a LITTLE cup of sauce without telling us it was additional charge. Drinks: My guest ordered sangria she enjoyed it. I ordered a Caipirihna tulum style drink. The menu stated: "Leblon sugarcane rum, muddle with fresh limes, and your choice of fresh fruits (strawberry, blackberry, mango, cucumber, jalapeño) Your choice of brown sugar or agave (for cucumbers or jalapeño) served with a popsicle. $15. As seen in the picture in my review. "Your choice" to me sounds like it's included but it's not. When I received my bill they charged me an additional $2.00 because I had mango in my drink but I was not told verbally and it was not stated on the menu. The good thing I could say is that it was cute inside, they decorated nicely thats about it.

Food was average, "entertainment" was not my taste. Guess I'm just old. Karaoke was probably the worst I have heard and was quite painful.

With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday! It is part of a South Florida chain founded by restaurateur Marc Falsetto along with Anthony Bruno, Pat Marzano, Hall of Fame Miami Dolphins Dan Marino, and local radio personality Paul Castronovo. This Tacocraft restaurant is located on the corner of the first floor of the mixed use Village Square Complex on University Dr. in Coral Springs. They also have locations in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and at the Plantation Walk. I stopped by after attending the nearby Blarney Bash for a late snack and cocktail. They have a beautifully decorated dining room with a tree and basket lights but my friend was cold and wanted to stay outside. Their sidewalk dining wraps around two sides of the building and we were seated on the University Dr side. At first it seemed fine but after a few minute of watching the cars speed by including police and ambulances we started to rethink the safety. It seemed entirely possible that someone could lose control of their car and plow into the sidewalk. The Tacocraft menu is divided into snacks, ensaladas, entrees and bowls, fajitas, and tacos. The flavor packed tacos including chicken Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Korean Short Rib, and Chorizo & Egg tacos are stand outs. They also serve cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks, sides, and desserts. They are especially known for their ultimate nachos. After studying the menu I chose the $15 coconut margarita made with casamingos blanco, cream of coconut, fresh lime, and coconut flakes. It was both strong and delicious. It really hit the spot. I paired my margarita with a crispy shrimp taco, tempura fried shrimp, mango salsa, and spicy mayo. It was $7.50 for the one taco so definitely on the expensive side but it really delivered on the crunch and the taste. This was my first time trying Tacocraft so I was dipping my toe in to check them out. This restaurant is for people who don't mind paying more for a beautiful place to hang out and creativity in the menu.
