Best tacos in Stuart hands down if you like traditional corn tortilla, cilantro, onion and you could ask for cheese as well

Stopped by quickly for a quick bite before a work event. Food truck is on a Corner and easily visible from the road. I ordered three tacos (carnitas, chicken, and al pastor) and an Agua Fresca de maracuya (Passion fruit). The tacos container was accompanied with a handful of chips, pico de gallo, and a salsa verde. The chicken and carnitas were good enough but they needed some sauce and lime as they were a bit drier than i would have liked. The al pastor on the other hand was fantastic. Juicy and flavorful. I wish i had done all three of the al pastor. The Passion fruit Agua Fresca was also amazing. Slightly sweet and tart and most definitely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I will stop by again if im in the area! read more

Food, service ... all good!!! Quick, wholesome lunch without lots of frills...always look for the Taco Truck when traveling Dixie Hwy.

I was craving tacos for lunch and I heard this was "the" taco truck. I got 2 tacos- al pastor and carnitas and one tamale. Meat was lacking flavor, tortillas were stale. The tamale was good, can tell it was homemade. Service was lackluster. I don't see the hype. Maybe I came on a bad day. Food was affordable. Interior of truck looked dirty. No place to eat. read more

I am a huge fan of yelp, rarely steers me wrong... but today was one of those days. This taco truck was absolutely disgusting. The windows on the front were completely caked in dirt, looks like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I mean I am talking a little windex would help. Really surprised the County health inspectors haven't shut this place down. They need to get out there and also check the restaurant connected to it. Totally unsanitary. The girl working in the truck seemed pleasant and nice,,, but she was handling cash and credit cards and then turning around and only putting a glove on one hand!!! A couple of times I saw her use the unloved hand to put cilantro and onions etc on peoples food!!! and this is during Covid!!! Come on, don't be a cheap skate,,, use two gloves when touch food directly, and especially after handling cash and not washing hands (in a truck!). And the food was terrible, so bad (see pics). I got a variety of tacos and the shrimp Burrito. Wanted to give this a good try. Tacos were tasteless, and half the meat was hard chunks of fat that were inedible. The burrito was even more disgusting (hard to believe), tasted like uncleaned coleslaw, and the bottom skunk water from a cheap can of black beans. Some really nasty rice was in there as well. Let's put it this way, Taco Bell is a thousand times better and tastier than this place. Save yourself, go somewhere, anywhere else!!! read more

Here it comes, another five star review for the taco truck! I had a great lunch here today, and for the price it was downright outstanding. The carne asada plate is priced at $7+tax, and comes with rice, black beans, salsa, some chips, tortillas, and of course, steak. It's parked right next to a tortilla shop, so the tortillas were very fresh and they gave me basically a whole stack! Everyone was friendly and I even got to practice my Spanish a bit while I waited. Definitely give this place a try! read more

Coming from the West Palm Area, food trucks are usually pretty amazing! As my fiancé is Mexican, and obviously my daughter being half, and my white ass just loves tacos so we're all about the Mexican food as well! The tacos were okay, I'm not a fan of fried onions on them, however good thing I do love cilantro because it was piled on them all. Salsa was good. The chips that came with it we all threw away... we actually bought a bag of toasted tortillas and pork skins from the corner store there and they were great. The rice and beans were good, but with all the tacos we got I would've expected more . Had to give the place a try since spotting it out one day. Not bad, just not nearly what I'm used to. The ONLY reason for the 3 stars, the fried chicken tortillas.... They were actually REALLY GOOD! If Anything, I would go back for them definitely! read more

I've picked up tacos there several times Connie Asada and I believe a couple common Lunas which is shrimp. I have the food was good. I'm very critical when it comes to what makes a great "Taco". If Taco Bell comes out of your mouth... escort yourself off the premises. There are many factors to making an authentic taco. But I won't get into that right now lol. The Taco Truck... has to be one of my top Taco Spots! Now, every taco spot is different depending where "El Cocinero/a" is from. Some like soft corn tortillas, some a little harder. But they're both good in they're own way. The corn tortillas taste and feel homemade. When you take an already cooked tortilla and lightly toast them on a flat iron or "Comal" as we call it. It gives it a soft but light crunch. The meat was seasoned well and nothing tasted over cooked or dry. I had 2 Tacos of Carnitas, 2 of Tripas (Beef Intestine... which is really good if you haven't tried it) and 1 of Chorizo. And you can't enjoy it without an ice cold Sangria Señoral (Non-Alcohol) and a Jarritos. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. The only thing I didn't like is that the food bar is attached to the truck. Which wouldn't be so bad if you didn't feel eyes watching you as you ate. But other than that... Prices are affordable and the food is great! read more

Best street tacos on the treasure coast!!! Favorite place to grab lunch quickly. I take everyone here.

Authentic street tacos at very reasonable prices. The churros are great, of course. Order online and pick up to minimize your wait time.

The food was good. We ate it in our car, the area itself was not somewhere where you would feel comfortable eating. The young lady taking the order and handing out the food was not the happiest of people. They cooked the food on the spot, so it takes some time. But, aside from those two details the food is the wait and very authentic. read more

There is no flavor whatsoever to the meat on the Asada tacos. It's like the meat was boiled instead of cooked on the grill. Not worth the wait read more

I hate to say it but being from San Francisco I have a certain taste when it comes to Mexican food. Kind of like when a New Yorker goes anywhere outside NY and gets pizza then gets mad at it. I get it, you get used to how you think things should be and it's always been that way. Right or wrong it's what I am accustomed to, and SF/California Mexican food, from top to bottom, trucks to dining is awesome. Until you start moving around, traveling and seeing new places and say to yourself I could go for a burrito. Then that NY pizza anger sets in. When I moved to Florida, after trying out several places, I realized to myself that I would just have to miss Mexican food. Commit it to memory and enjoy it whenever I visit the West Coast. Until now. Thank you Red Taco Truck. I have actually eaten three out of my last four meals here and could not wait to write this review. Meal #1, breakfast burrito, which is a monster. I later discovered at meal #2 that it's a Veg. burrito with eggs, and they are served all day. Every single ingredient had flavor even the tortilla. Yellow rice cooked perfect, so great. Cabbage, refried black beans, grill peppers, onions and pico de gallo all so tasty. Served with spicy salsa verde and tortilla chips made with real tortillas on the side. The burrito itself is assembled ON THE GRILL! Expert. Meal #2 Vegetarian Burrito. All the ingredients above and I added sour cream. The sour cream is actual crema, the kind that pours and doesn't require a spoon. Perfect. Everything was as tear jerking good as before. Now, they actually have Vegetarian Burrito listed on the menu. Which I personally find fantastic. Most places I have found I have to order a super B with no meat. Then there is a back and forth confirmation that I actually want a burrito with no meat that lasts about 3-4 exchanges or get a burrito filled with lettuce and carrots. Nice touch. Meal #3 Shrimp Tacos and Cheese Quesadilla. I was so excited to get my hands on these watching them being grilled up and I was not disappointed. The shrimp were cooked and flavored perfect. Mixed with onions, served with cilantro, lime and radishes. I was so happy to see radishes with tacos. I felt like I was home. There was no attempt to pair my seafood with grated cheese mix, a personal pet peeve. Again, great corn tortillas. To fill the cheese void I got the Quesadilla, served with pica de gallo and sour cream. Flour tortilla and cheese, mixing all the ingredients together, each bite so good. Soft melted authentic cheese with a crispy grilled tortilla. Terrific. The Red Taco Truck is not great by SF/California standards. It's great on a whole other level. read more

Not a fan any more. Last 2 times I was there the asada tacos were so dry it was terrible. And both times it was different chefs. Because of one person's bad attitude, I left your place without food after I ordered online and prepaid, on June 6, at 1:42 pm. The lady completely undermined my presence by assisting others, even after ones that arrived after me. I love the food and the lady who always greets me with a smile and has food ready to go. But, there is this other rude lady, who needs to learn to be respectful to others. I pay the extra fee because I am pressed for time. I also work, just like her. I really enjoyed and miss your food, especially the tilapia. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Absolutely dissatisfied with not only the customer service but the food. Ordered 4 steak taco's with cheese and sour cream, 2 orders of rice and beans with chips and salsa and 2 cokes. Steak was cold and had no flavor (definitely not marinated as advertised), only two tacos had cheese, got the chips but no salsa, rice was plain yellow rice and both cokes were warm. The woman at the counter was lacking any personality other than RBF. Disappointed all around. Being from Texas I had expected better mexican food. Y'all might want to skip this one read more

My wife has been asking me to stop at the taco truck and try out the food. We rode our bikes up there on Sunday for lunch and we're not disappointed. We only had empanadas, one pork and one chicken, in each was filled with tasty meat and covered and a delicious crispy pastry crust. The salsa Verde sauce accompanying the empanadas was delightful. As you can see from the pics, there is quite a menu. They even serve breakfast. We will definitely be making more trips to the taco truck! read more

Ordered 6 barbacoa tacos, chips/salsa rice and beans. Rice & beans bland. Customer service both times was poor. The lady was just not friendly at all. She must have hated her job. Red salsa uneditable. But, the barbocoa tacos were insanely good! I will say $3 for a TINY taco (you have to eat several just to make it a meal) is too expensive for how much you get in them. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place but was beyond disappointed. Like almost confused. The ONLY thing on the tacos was meat and cilantro (I requested no onions.) I've never heard of a taco without lettuce/cabbage at the very least. And then some cream sauce and/or pico. Weird. Never again. If you dO decide to go, knowing this, be aware oF a considerable wait. I have been in search of real deal street tacos since moving from Los Angeles last year. The flavor of the chorizo taco was good, the al pastor was ok... was also missing the pinnaple it was supposed to have, and the carne asada was dry as a bone. Price is reasonable. The four chips I received were very stale, and two of the three limes had already been squeezed. The worst part of the experience was the woman taking the orders and handing them out. She was rude, and not just to me. I watched her be rude to all the customers. If you do not want to deal with people don't be the person serving. ‍ Will not be returning. read more

Think about all the tacos you have tasted over the years. Yeah... a lot right? So when I say, I just had the best tacos of my life, trust me.... On the corner of A1A (Old Dixie hwy) and SE Iris St in Stuart, there is parked a truck, called, "The Taco Truck." My wife and I have been passing by this truck lately, but never stopping. Well, my wife surprised me and pulled in for a bite. I had the beef cheeks taco for $2... right, no misprint there....... It was so unbelievably delicious and came with a side of green sauce, just on the safe side of hot and some freshly made chips that were more like pita chips because they were folded over--very different, but equally as delicious. It was served on a soft tortilla, shredded lettuce, Cilantro, beautifully seasoned and some green sauce over a bed of shredded beef cheeks that were the most beautiful color brown it should be a named paint color... "Yes, I would like a gallon of beef check color paint please...." I have since been back to try other menu choices and lately, Ihave been favoring the shrimp tacos. They are really delicious. There were quite a few great looking dishes besides what I ordered and I will hopefully get through them all. Next to the truck is a tortilla store where they make just that, tortillas. I am thinking about them now....... Be prepared to wait. Everyting is made to order, fresh, but the short order cooks seem to cook linearly. read more

I've passed the Taco Truck for several weeks and been very curious. Hungry for a quick bite but not in the mood for chain fast food, I stopped at The Taco Truck today. This is a great place to get authentic Mexican fast food. It was fun to see the genetlemen throw our food on the grill and whip it up. I had the adobo marinated pork with pineapple tacos. These were small tacos with big taste. I'll return to try the other filling combinations in the near future. read more

Wow, planets aligned again and I got to go to the Taco Truck. I should have taken pics cause the portions were generous for the Fajita Trio and the Vegetarian Burrito. We had devoured them by the time I could take pics. Martin County deputy was sitting there eating lunch carrying on a conversation with the owner. Based on their conversation he is obviously a very regular customer. The prices for the tacos went up a quarter, big woop, they are worth it. I've added a pic of the updated menu. I also went inside the store and bought a pound of their corn tortillas that they make. They are delicious. read more

Ok, so now I know why there are always people waiting outside this truck! After reading all the positive yelps and craving some good Mexican food I decided to stop there and get the breakfast burrito, which is the size of a small baby, filled with flavor and just amazing. It took me about 21/2 hours to finish it but you bet I did! I pass this truck on my way home from the gym everyday so after a run the next day I stopped to pick up my husband a vegetarian burrito. I figured I'd just have some yogurt for lunch (yeah right!). Of course I had to have a few bites and just as I thought, amazing, that rice, the tortilla, how do they get those flavors? I was actually jealous watching him eat it. But later that afternoon I went back to get my own veggie burrito ( I added guac, sour cream, and pico de gallo). Again, the portions are huge, this one took another couple hours to eat and as everything sits and marries it gets even better!!!! Thank you taco truck! I know where I'll be after the gym tonight! read more
