Like the other Food Truck Invasions there was a nice selection of trucks plus a bar. The best deals of the night were from La Nostra Pizza, which had 2 slices and a coke for $6, and Bea's Heavenly Wings, which had a chicken on a stick for $4. The best food I had was the chicken on a stick, with a slightly spicy BBQ sauce, and the mojo chicken tacos from Curbside Gourmet. The event was a little crowded but that was probably because it was the first night. When we go to any Food Truck Invasion we always bring a couple of folding camp chairs and a bag with some waters and cokes, napkins, paper plates, and gum or mints. Having a place to sit and eat is always a plus. If you get the chance you should really give this or any of the food truck invasions a try.

I was only looking for a snack and got a small order of fries, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food I was provided for the price point. The service I received was excellent and he took the time to answer all of my questions and to bring the food directly to me at the bar. If you're in the Fort Pierce/Port St. Lucie area and looking for somewhere to grab a bite I definitely suggest checking this food truck out! The schedule appears to be posted regularly on Facebook.

BBQ, Mediterranean, Latin-American, cheesesteaks, burgers, fried goodness, and even desserts. after making a sweep of all that was offered, I hit up Sweet Daddy's BBQ truck. I hadn't really had lunch that day (aside from "brunch" on the plane, which was really just a fair amount of scotch and a banana) so dinner was imperative. a mountain of fries, slathered in BBQ pulled pork and cheese. and then a pistachio cannoli from one of the dessert trucks! run by one of my gumbas who moved down here from the Bronx! nice! good vibes going on with a mix of people of all ages. prices aren't bad with the portion sizes at each truck.

I ordered three tacos (carnitas, chicken, and al pastor) and an Agua Fresca de maracuya (Passion fruit). The tacos container was accompanied with a handful of chips, pico de gallo, and a salsa verde. The chicken and carnitas were good enough but they needed some sauce and lime as they were a bit drier than i would have liked. The al pastor on the other hand was fantastic. Juicy and flavorful. I wish i had done all three of the al pastor. The Passion fruit Agua Fresca was also amazing. Slightly sweet and tart and most definitely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. One thing to note is that the baby back ribs come already cut up instead of stacked, which wasn't what I expected but they still tasted great. That said, the price was very high for what you get.
