We visitef the restaurant after our find-me-gluten-free app suggested it for restaurants that have gluten-free choices. Nice place, a bit old but nice. The owner is very familiar with avoiding gluten and my loved one and I felt confident. True to form the food was really good. Phenomenal food with excellent service! We had an amazingly delicious meal today. Rosie the owner greeted us, answered all our questions and happily adapted our meals to meet the diet restrictions for everyone in our party. She has an extensive menu that includes Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. Everything was delicious. The portions were huge! We were so full that we had to take our meals home but also ordered food to go to enjoy tomorrow. We are visiting Florida for a week but are definitely going to find time to go back for another meal. So Cochinita Pibil made it to first place tonight and tasted even better in a corn tortilla, just like my grandma would have loved. Super tender pork meat with all the trimmings. Yesssss please! This is my favorite lunch stop on the way to or from Orlando. For under $10 you can get a number of delicious lunch specials. On our most recent visit, my husband had the three beef enchiladas with red sauce with rice and yummy beans for $9. I had the chicken tostadas and my daughter opted for a cheese quesadilla. Everything was prepared perfectly and full of flavor. You have to get the guacamole. It's fresh and delicious. You do get complimentary chips, hot sauce and bean dip. Our lunch for three with guacamole, three lunch specials and two sodas was $32. Best deal ever. This spot is such a gem. I wish it was closer. BTW absolutely spotless restroom. They say you can always tell how clean a restaurant kitchen is by the state of their restroom. If that's true, this kitchen is immaculate. Can't wait to go back. read more

The owners are so nice and accommodating for a gluten allergy. Depending on who is there when I order enchiladas and ask for the green sauce..they'll give me red sauce. Fajitas were excellent! Really loved the flavor. Offered with flour or corn tortillas. My husband said the chicken fajitas were the best he'd ever had. I loved the shrimp fajitas. Guacamole was made to order so it was fresh. The entrance doesn't look like much but the interior has nice decor. Service was prompt and drinks were large. This is a restaurant that should be reviewed by YELP. We passed a number of big box restaurants to dine here. Very casual atmosphere with only five or six booths for four to six people, with one table for two in the middle of a wall. So if you are looking for that intimate place to enjoy a first date, this is probably not it. However, if your date is a foodie who would recognize that rarely do Mexican restaurants serve paella and ceviche, then by all means bring her and she will be impressed. Service was quick, helpful and pleasant. We started with the guacamole and WOW it had quite a kick. Not Alice's guacamole from episode 118 of the Brady Bunch, but good nonetheless. The rest of the dishes were very good, borderline exceptional, but service was truly outstanding. We sampled tacos, steak with sauce, fajitas and more chips and salsa. One thing that really stands out was the two salsas that came with the chips - one black bean and one tomato based one. Both were exceptional.
