I've ordered from here a few times and every time I have called and asked please send some salsa. I've offered to pay extra and every time I get this little itty bitty to go cup. I order 4-5 meals and extra for the whole family. I tried calling ahead and again no luck. I no longer will be ordering here. read more

My wife and I really enjoy Ay Jalisco. We went for lunch a few weeks back. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is very good and priced well. We ordered the Chicken Fajitas for 2. A ton of delicious tasty chicken with peppers and onions, flour tortillas and all the fixings. Really good guacamole. The only problem is that they give you so much food - I never have room for dessert and I really want to try their tres leche. I highly recommend and we plan to return soon. Oh, before I forget, we saw 2 women seated near us order what looked like fajitas served over half a pineapple. It looked amazing. Getting that next time. And we love the little train that runs along the ceiling of the restaurant. I'm a sucker for model trains. read more

My wife loved her chicken enchiladas but my buffalo burrito was horrible. The meat tasted like liver and it was covered in a tomato based sauce not chili. read more

My wife introduced me to this spot, and I have been here three times now. Each time has been excellent between a friendly and inviting atmosphere, to a menu with lots of choices, and drinks that are very tasty. I have been making a point to try something new each time I go. The most recent was the tortilla soup, and Pollo à la Crema. Both were very flavorful and good portion sizes. I was a little concerned that the Pollo a la Crema would be heavy, but it wasn't. I look forward to going back and trying more from their menu. read more

Fajitas for 2 were good. Nice portion. Maybe 2 more tortillas would be good. Frozen Margarita was okay. Asked for no salt but came with salt but no big issue. Ambiance was very authentic. Will return read more

Food was phenomenal! We ordered fajitas, birria tacos, and more. Portion size was great and flavor was plentiful. My complaint is in regard to service. We were served an unbelievably hot place. The server had an oven mitt on and couldn't reach the other side so someone had to grab it. If you cannot hold it without an oven mitt, do not give it to a customer without one. Nearly dropped the plate. Also, our server closed our tab without asking if we wanted dessert which we did, so we finally got to order dessert and they sent a new check. We ended up asking another waiter to get our waiter. We also asked 4 times for a to go box, which another server was able to get for us. I think we got unlucky with our server because the table next to us had a great waiter - she was on top of it. I would return for the food, portion size, and price; however, would definitely look for another server read more

This authentic Mexican restaurant is close to my boy friends home in Vero Beach. We visited this location for dinner over the weekend. Large indoor seating. Elaborate menu. Hot and fresh chips with salsa Large portions, juicy tender meats, generous sides, fresh salsa and guac, well cooked rice and beans. We had chicken sizzling fajitas and Pork Al Pastor plate meal. Service was quick and prompt. read more

Used to be good, now we almost stopped going here, but noticed each time we go here the past 3-4 times we were sick with a flu and teeth aches, as if someone is making us sick who works here with Ciguatera fish poisoning or something. The waiter David used to be great, we loved eating here, he knew how to give great service, always checking back and attentive, but now sick every time after we eat here with these two ladies who work here. Bring David back please! The two short chunky ladies that work here now during the day in the week each time we go here are so bad, bad attitudes, bad service, and they seem to be filled with hate or something, just very bad service. And then we get sick after eating here the past 3-4 times now. It will hurt this place. Anyway, we will not eat here anymore. We cannot afford to be sick after each time we go here to eat. Too, the last time they charged us for more salsa, which they never did before, we had to wait so long for our food, all the salsa was gone with the chips, and then they charged for more. This restaurant has gone down the tubes, be careful eating here, I hope no one else is sick with with the flu or teeth aches after eating here, it says online it is due to Ciguatera fish poisoning, maybe they are putting it in our water or food, the water does always smell odd here lately. Anyway, please be careful. I hope the owner gets rid of these bad ladies before people stop eating here. read more

Comfortable, lots of food, great price. The MexiCombo is a great deal. As much as you want tortilla chips with salsa. If you like your salsa spicier, ask for hotter salsa and they'll bring it. Loved the chile relleno. Wonderful service, great aircon. A good place for lots of food at a reasonable price. Four stars because the shredded beef was ground beef in a taco sauce...still tasty but definitely not shredded. read more

We love the food and service here. Prices are gBice. They are very accommodating with order variations. Not so keen on some of the update decor. The seat with their screaming skull fabric and the repeated branding make it unpleasantly distracting when trying to look at dinner companions opposite. The rest is mostly bice. read more

Went for a simple lunch at the site in 60. My wife and her friend just ate there, they seemed fine. My waitress let me stand at the door for a few minutes, I went in and asked to be seated. Was nice about it.. a few more minutes and she asked if I wanted something to drink but no menu. Got my drink and chips from the server asst. My waitress has an ear bud in her ear and a plate of food she is eating from sitting down and I'm waiting to order what I thought was a quick decent lunch. I walked out after 10 minutes of this. There were 6 other patrons finishing their meals at 12:45. I am not going back-- read more

Authentic Mexican food. The service is A+. But the star of the show is the FOOD. So delicious and the portions are plentiful. And the prices are very modest. They recently remodeled the restaurant with amazing work. They also added a full bar. Buen provecho! read more

I have eaten here many times. It is my favorite Mexican food restaurant. The service has always been great. I have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the size of the portion. Ambiance is basic, but fine. The only issue I have had is the parking lot is small and sometimes difficult to find a spot. However, it is worth it once you go inside. read more

I've never posted a bad review but I feel it necessary to keep others from making the wrong decision of where to go for Mexican. Atmosphere was great Host was attentive Food was not fresh or of quality. I'm not going to go into details, but this one item will tell all. The queso dip was melted white American cheese. read more

Food was a bit bland, I ordered a combo steak and chicken fajitas and it was fair. The chips were fair. Service was also slow.

The food was absolutely excellent, The service was great chips and salsa was awesome, they are updating the interior of their restaurant and remodeling. It will look wonderful once it is done completely. I highly recommend. read more

Three stars isn't a bad grade from me. Three stars is minimum, it means the restaurant met expectations but Ay Jalisco went above that in food and service. The restaurant was clean, the service was pleasant and the Mexican pizza I had was delicious. I think it's hard to be a Mexican restaurant and be able to differentiate yourself from other Mexican restaurants but Ay Jalisco continues to deliver. Ay Jalisco has been around a long time and I hope it's around for many years to come. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. We were looking for a Mexican place that didn't break the bank, which during this time of inflation is not easy to find. I wasn't too sure, with some of the reviews I saw, but man, this place did not disappoint. My husband and daughter and I split the 3 item combo, and a Supreme Burrito, we had 2 of the $2.50 drafts (Pacifico, and Modelo Negra). We were in and out in 45 minutes with a refill of chips. There was a 20 something young man that was running around serving multiple tables and cleaning up everywhere. My -7 year old daughter that busses tables at the restaurant at Legoland was very impressed. I highly recommend! Great hole in the wall Mexican place! read more

This place never disappoints. We also go To the other restaurant which is just as Yummy. We are connoisseurs of great Mexican food. From the salsa and warm chips to the combos. We drive 40 Mins to eat here. Wish you Would open up one in Palm Bay or Melbourne. We also Like your carved wood booths and the cleanliness is stellar. Thank you for caring about us co read more

My family and I (table of 8) made up of my husband, kids, grandparents, my sisters & her kids came in here to eat & 4 adults & 2 kids who ordered or ate the chicken enchiladas meals ended up having HORRIBLE FOOD POISONING!! We were all sick for 2-3 days, my husband ended up in the hospital severely dehydrated. We called the restaurant to make them aware of the situation & the women on the phone said "thanks for letting us know" and hung up. How dare this place get their customers sick & HOSPITALIZED at that. This place used to be awesome - no longer! Poor standards, rank food, dirty, STAY AWAY! read more

We love it. Always a good meal. We visit the one in vero and also in sebastian. Both are highly dependable with consistently good meals. Margaritas are great too. read more

Unpretentious small mexican eatery. David our server was quite attentive and even remembered a specialty we asked for in our first trip. Food was not gourmet quality, but then at this price it was exactly what we as seniors would have wished for: inexpensive, good and plentiful. We plan to visit this location quite often. read more

Really good queso. Thick, had peppers, but not too hot. I had the Tacos de Asada. The plate was huge and plentiful. Not the best asada I've ever had, but still pretty good. I never have bad food or service here! The staff are friendly and this is easily one of my favorite places to eat and order out from.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews, as we had a great time for dinner last night. It's definitely not a 5 star place and there are a few things (not mission critical) to improve, but overall a decent Mexican option for the area. We actually wanted to go to Tapatio originally, but they don't have a bar nor liquor license. Tough to find good Mexican in Vero. We had two orders of fajitas - steak and shrimp. I got the Steak Ranchero (steak with tomatoes and onions) which also came with rice and beans. It Was pretty good overall. If I could do it again, I wouldn't have ordered the dip sampler. The queso is good, but meals come with beans and guacamole for the most part so it's overkill. The service was friendly and hard working. The ladies all band together to make it happen. They don't have a full bar so only beer or cocktails like margaritas made with wine. Dine in if you're in the area. * Also you can't fault these folks for messed up online orders from third party technology companies. Blame the app not the restaurant. They don't have control over the money distribution. read more

The food is great. The service is a little slow but worth the wait. Good environment. Family friendly.

I found this restaurant by mistake while at my Vet next door. We are fairly new to the area. We love the food so much, we are going once a week. I had the shrimp and chicken fajitas. My husband loves the beef tacos. The food is fresh with generous portions. The chips and salsa are excellent. Chips are served warm.. yum. I could fill up on just the chips and salsa. Absolutely delish. I highly recommend this place. The wait staff is professional and very attentive. The prices are very reasonable too! I would eat here every night of the week. The food makes me feel good. I'm so happy we found our Mexican Resturant here in Vero. read more

Straight forward and simple Mexican food done well. I had a skirt steak that was slightly over-grilled at medium-well but still very flavorful and tender. I enjoyed it immensely. Traditional accompaniments were tasty, tortillas were hot and fresh. I grew up on CA Mexican food--this place satisfied my craving for skirt steak! We will be back to try other favorites! read more

Incredible staff! Delicious food! And an affordable price to boot. One of my favorites in Vero.

Great little Mexican spot in Vero beach. Highly recommend it. The chips and salsa we're good and the chimichanga was amazing.

This place has great food and great service during normal times, I ate there a lot in the past, I stopped today for take out, it was way over there 25% capacity ,no staff member was wearing a mask, there was no social distancing! This will be the last time I ever patronize in this establishment! Rules were not followed! read more

If I could give negative starts I would. During COVID times I've tried my best to support local restaurants and order deliver whenever I have the opportunity. It is extremely in bad taste for a restaurant to take advantage of the fact that you are ordering delivery to get rid of low quality items. I ordered a guacamole and chips order. The guacamole WAS BLACK.... BLACK!!!! It is completely disrespectful to send a customer BLACK GUACAMOLE. You would NEVER serve a sitting customer BLACK GUACAMOLE. Then why send it to a customer who ordered delivery... Let's just say I will NEVER order from this place again... Yes.. it might have been only like 6 bucks worth of guacamole, but the incredible disappointment and nausea brought upon the opening of the container with guacamole is more than enough to have thrown away all of the food I ordered.. because if that is what they do with the ingredients I CAN SEE, I don't even want to imagine what they do with the things I CAN'T. Disgusting!!!! read more
