I've been going here since it's opened, and today, we've decided to go and be seated outside. BAD. IDEA. We've sat outside, I kid you not, 15 mins until someone at the table finally decided to go up and say something. Even though that event has happened, they have apologized and I will still be going here. Great coke too!!

The Chile Colorado and Birria Tacos with Watermelon Margaritas

We love this place, inside you can expect a vibrant atmosphere with a mariachi band for birthday celebrations. The service is always fast and friendly staff. We've tried many different dishes but these are by far our favorite. The Chile Colorado and Birria Tacos. The Chile Colorado is such a unique dish with juicy meat and very close to authentic flavors. The Birra Tacos are excellent with that dip broth and the goat meat is so tender. And can't forget to mention those watermelon margaritas, they're so refreshing and a nice cocktail treat! Definitely would recommend Casa Amigos for good food and decent portion sizes.

Found this place online while visiting Vero Beach. It's located at a local mall and has convenient parking. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, taste is fantastic. Everything we had was delicious. Wish we weren't just tourists so we could come again!

Had a very good lunch at Casa Amigos. The menu is huge - hard to decide what to get. We sat in a booth closer to the bar are and it was hot so if you need it to be cooler I suggest you sit on the other side. We enjoyed the table side guacamole being made. They make it to order so it was great. I like that the food is made fresh so if there is something you don't want in your burrito or enchilada you can let them know. Everyone enjoyed their meals as they were all wiped clean! We had an great waitress who was attentive. Maybe a bit too much with the compliments but I get it so it was cool. This is a Mexican restaurant I would come back to. I would sit elsewhere but that was really the only issue. Enjoy.

That 'Steak A La Mexicana was awesome!

So it was our third trip to Casa Amigos. We'd just left Ruby Tuesday after having a terrible dining experience there. We'd canceled our order and left that smell hole (see my review of that place and do yourself a favor--NEVER GO TO RUBY TUESDAY IN VERO). As always, as soon as we walked in we were greeted enthusiastically by a smiling host. He lead us to a table where a lady brought chips and salsa right away. The place was busy, and CLEAN. It's always been clean. The chips and salsa, by the way, are great. The salsa must be made there. It's really good. Within 1 minute here comes our server, Julio. He gave a pleasant introduction, asking what we would like to drink. Two Diet Cokes, please. Those came quickly, and we ordered. Our orders came out quickly, on hot plates. Everything was hot and delicious. Julio checked on us a couple times (not too many), and brought us two more Diet Cokes in a timely fashion. This place pays attention to all the details. Hands down they have the best menu (appearance and selections) I've ever seen. And the menus are CLEAN. The place is always decorated according to the season and holidays. It's always clean. Three visits and no odor of old water and rags (many places clean their tables with that smelly water that has too much soap and leaves tables sticky, but not this place). Our server (all of them in fact) looked clean and presentable. He was well spoken and timely. Everything was so great we left a 50% tip. So it was a $25 tip. Not like at Ruby Tuesday (again, see my review and never go there!) where the "None" button is probably the most used option. If you're looking for a fun, easy feeling, clean, quick, delicious dining experience then this is your place. It costs more than McDonald's but it's also better food and a much better experience. Worth every dollar in this guy's estimate.

Chicken & Spinach Enchiladas

My daughter and I tried out this restaurant and didn't have much time to munch on chips and salsa before our delicious food was at our table. Someone came around with a sombrero if you wanted a picture. Would definitely go to this restaurant again when in the area!

For starters, they never asked for our IDs. Now, my husband and I are old enough to drink, but the fact that they didn't check them should have been a red flag. It's clear they just don't care. As the night went on, it became even more apparent. The staff didn't seem to care enough to cut people off when they had clearly had too much to drink. At one point, a man approached my husband and me while we were sitting on the couch and started a bizarre conversation, making strange comments and pointing at us. We tried to ignore it, but then his "friends" had to pull him away. A little later, he came back, now more aggressive than before. I started yelling for help from other patrons or the bartender, and they only responded by pulling him away. The bartender didn't intervene at all. At that point, we decided to cut our night short. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even on a quiet Wednesday. If they're not responsible enough to check IDs, they clearly don't care enough to ensure their patrons' safety or comfort.

After a long day of preparation for Easter for 3 daughters we needed a moment for us, before the next days celebration. We had the back room to ourselves and it was just perfect. I just had to say, my husband loves to cook for me, especially short ribs and a beautiful brown sauce and he is amazing at it. Well, this blew him and I both away. Also, the skewers were something out of this world. There is an article about them in Vero Mag. This place is a secret we want to keep to ourselves but a place with this much talent is meant to be celebrated. Ohhh and the Short Rib Rangoons! Thank you curfew for giving to very busy parents a couple hours to just connect and enjoy a wonderful place. We cannot wait to come back again. The staff seemed happy and they probably have a core crew being a Mom n Pop establishment. We sat at the bar. There is one TV. The ambiance is dark Italian kinda romantic with dimmed lights. I should have ordered my second round when my boyfriend did because although the bar is only around 6 chairs, the bartender also works the service bar so if you don't get her when she asks, you'll be waiting. Instead of waiting we cashed out. We'll be back as we definitely want to enjoy a meal here at least once. We love supporting local. Continued success Italian Grill! Unfortunately, I ordered veal marsala, which is my favorite Italian dish. I was presented with an extra large plate that slope down in the middle. It looked like chicken broth was there sauce. Never seen anything like it in my life. Veal settled in a big puddle of scallopini floating in a mass amount of broth. If that's so called broth was supposed to be their signature Italian sauce, then they might want to go to Carrabba's and see how marsala sauce is really supposed to be made. Paying $26.99 for that dish of broth is an insult to any customer.
