4.5 Back in town and another great meal. Kicked off with a sour,guacamole, and the kids tried the queso tots. Two of us had bowls, ther others had a variety of tacos to include the steak, shrimp, and BLT with pimento cheese and an egg, plus two with burritos. For 8 of us on a Wednesday evening around 6, had a short wait as there is limited seating inside (only two for larger groups) and it was cold outside. We were greeted right away and pleasantly. This was a great quick lunch spot as you order at the counter and your food comes out pretty quick even during a lunch rush. My absolute favorite was the pork taco as I love roasted pork paired with pineapple it never disappoints. The steak tacos were good as well but definitely messier to eat as there is a bit too much of the cilantro dive sauce on top. The Cajun shrimp tacos were definitely my second favorite even though they have three small shrimp in them. The chipotle lime sauce was a great topper for the shrimp but it definitely could have had thinner sliced avocado. Pricing was very reasonable even though it was priced per taco and they didn't do any type of special for combining multiple. I would love to come back if I was in the area again. read more

I got the mushroom and the roasted pork tacos on soft flour tortillas and they were perfectly seasoned. We also shared guacamole with fresh hot chips! Delicious! We stopped here on the way back to Cocoa Beach from the Navy Seal Museum and we were all so impressed! First of all, the service was fabulous and the food came out super quickly. Both waiters were on top of everything. There were lots of tables available when we were there, and it sounds like there is also a back area with seating too. We started with guacamole which is made fresh each day. It was yummy! Super fresh tasting and lots of flavor. The chips had a great seasoning on them as well. For my entree I got two tacos: Pork and BLT Dive Style Taco. They were both fabulous. The pork taco was Thai style and the pineapple slaw and sauce were amazing. I wanted like 5 more by the time I finished it. The BLT Dive Style was also wonderful. The pimento cheese had a lot of flavor, the bacon was nice & crispy, and the egg was perfectly cooked! It was lunch break time and the workplace cafeteria was not satisfying the cravings. So I read up on this place they had good reviews and wanted to give it a try. when I got there I was able to find street parking right in front of the restaurant around 12 PM when I entered. I walked over to the bar and sat down and ordered cajun shrimp tacos and steak tacos with chips snd salsa. It was recommended and they did not disappoint. The food was hot fresh, juicy, and saucy and flavorful overall very good! Will definitely be coming back to check out this location. read more

Holy fantastically awesome place! Other than being too small to handle the crowd that wanted to share our great experience, nothing at all to nitpick. The service was welcoming and attentive by knowledgeable staff. They gave great instructions on how and what to order and kept our drinks and baskets of chips topped off. We could have left, satisfied, after the nacho trios but stayed for the tacos which were spectacular. I love the food at Taco Dive of Vero Beach, but this is the second time that I paid for my food to this one cashier I handed her my money and she always give my change back on the counter instead of handed it back to me like I give it to her!!! It might not seems to be nothing wrong to some peoples but to me its a problem because I see her hand back other customers (white peoples) change back in their hands.
