One of the easiest 5 stars I've given. Walked in at 4:45pm and sat at the bar. From the time I sat down to the time I left, the phone was ringing with remote orders. If that tells you anything, it should! I ordered the shrimp taco and the steak taco by suggestion of the waitress. She was spot on. They were both absolutely excellent. This is a normal amount of food for a normal person, but I did legs at the gym today and so I ordered a third afterwards which was the hotdog taco. Sounds weird right? But the thing is, I'm totally a hotdog dude. And I dug it. The only critique I would give is that the diced cucumber on it doesn't fit at-all... but could just be my taste buds. We go back to this place over and over again. The staff is the best part and it so funny and kind. The food somehow matches the amazingness of the staff. It's a high bar and somehow they met it. The tator tots are fantastic and we get them every time we head there. Then there are the tacos. Every single taco is fantastic. They are not too expensive and surprisingly filling. The shells are so soft and the filling just fit together. This is the BEST TACO PLACE IN FLORIDA(in my opinion). Honestly it has great theming and everything. This place is amazing!! We happened to be in the area and starving so looked up the closest food spots and this popped up! It's a small little place in the downtown area (I think it's downtown). We walked in and was greeted with a smiling face and told to sit where we would like. We came in at a great time because they filled up quick! The fish could have been seasoned just a little bit more but all in all pretty good. The steak taco was the best, tender and well seasoned. The salsas, while super fresh, need more spice! Not your average taco! These tacos are hearty and packed full with really fresh ingredients. The options they have on the menu are unique and are all worth a try. We were craving tacos and stumbled across taco dive from other yelper reviews. We are so glad we did! Everything was amazing and it was such a welcoming space. Our server was so friendly! We ordered started off with the trio, which was all delicious- great chips with very fresh salsa and they let you choose the spice level of the salsa, so awesome. The quest and guac were also so fresh and delicious. I got the carne asada taco and it was PERFECT. The steak was marinated so well and cooked just the right amount. The toppings made for a delicious taco. I also got the "boring" beef taco, which does sound boring but was seasoned so well and the meat had such a great flavor without feeling like just another taco with ground beef. My husband got the drunken burrito and it was huge!! He couldn't even finish it - it was filled with so much chicken! We split a hot dog taco because we just had to! YUM! This is a very popular place so we had to wait a few minutes before we were seated - they do have bar seating which is usually available but we wanted to eat outside as it felt pretty cold inside of the restaurant. They brought out the guacamole and fresh chips appetizer immediately. The guacamole was soooo fresh and creamy and had a strong lime and onion flavor which was perfect for my own personal taste and so that ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The quality of the shrimp and fish in the shrimp and fish taco was very high quality. Especially the shrimp - the shrimp was so juicy and plump and flavorful and had a nice grilled taste. The fish was also fresh tasting and had a really good texture but there was a strong preference on my part for the shrimp taco. The taco shells used were just okay (the same as those soft corn tortillas you get at the grocery store) but it is important to note that we both ordered the gluten free versions of these tacos and so I just feel glad that they offer gluten free options. Would still have been nice if they toasted up the tortilla before serving it but that can be difficult to do without breaking it apart unless it is homemade. I liked the fresh cabbage and tomatoes and avocados served on top and the dressing was pretty typical for these types of tacos. I really really liked the passion fruit hard cider and I am not an alcohol person at all but my friend allowed me to have a sip of hers. Prices are a little high for me but still reasonable considering the area. The waiter and waitress were both very attentive and considerate and down to earth. read more

This place should be called Taco diva. They think they're in amazing taco joint which I would call mediocre-at-best. Price point per taco is ridiculously outrageous for what you get. The taco itself isn't too bad but what sucks about Taco is the fact that you can't actually pick it up and eat it. I got the Portobello taco I had tasted mostly like peppers. I've had better portobello mushrooms at the Olive Garden and those comes Frozen from another country probably 2 years ago. Instead of giving you two tacos, they pile a bunch of the one taco said she can't actually fold it over and eat it like a taco. For $5.50 / taco flavorful mushrooms. Shrimp taco is your next big rip off. For the price of one of their tacos you can buy an entire bag of shrimp at the grocery store and make a bunch of tacos. They didn't they just do them all there and you only got five shrimp for taco. When you order Cajun you expect a nice spicy shrimp. That was not what was received. The decor of the restaurant itself is actually very nice. It looks very good inside at Super trendy. Just one of those trendy Taco pop ups that may or may not last. My guess is that it will not last at the price they're charging the flavor there provided. Less than 1 mile down the street and around the corner the Spanish grocery store with hot food in the back. Their tacos are half the price great portion and great flavor. I don't even understand how the taco diva stealing business for the brothers around the corner. Save your money and skip the dive unless you're really into trendy dive bars that's worth at least one. Let it be clear staff was very friendly and we sat at the bar in the back and the cooks word charismatic and had a lot of good banter to listen to. What this restaurant is lacking is price per quality. I've been to places that are $5 tacos that will blow your taste buds up, just don't expect that from here. Had I realized Taco Dive was a chain, I would likely have chosen somewhere else to visit. The service was great. The servers and kitchen staff were all friendly and quick. The ambience was good. Small hole in the wall feel, not a ton of seating, but I was alone and sat at the small bar. The food was okay. I didn't love the combinations of what I ordered, so perhaps my experience wasn't as great as it could have been. The Thai pork taco was suggested, but the pork wasn't crispy/burnt like most carnitas and the pineapples were canned. Wouldn't recommend this taco. I also got a fish taco, which was well cooked and good, but it was very dry as a whole taco. I asked for extra sauce, which helped some, but it was very thick from the container onto the taco as opposed to the warm aioli thinning on the hot fish. It was also an upcharge for extra sauce on the side, which isn't a huge deal, but I only ordered it so I could swallow the dry taco. I also got the trio--guacamole, salsa, queso--and chips. No complaints about this! The salsa was chunky pico-style and so good! Guacamole was fresh and queso was good! Overall okay. read more

Definitely the place in vero beach to have all of your taco Tuesday dreams come true! These are not authentic Mexican tacos by any means but they are fun, creative, and most of all delicious. The vibe in this restaurant is really fun and casual and the service was great. I asked the server how many tacos she recommended we get and since they are rather large she said two per person is a good rule of thumb. I got the steak taco and Irish taco which were both amazing (especially the Irish that had TATER TOTS on it) my boyfriend got the Cajun shrimp and underdog taco which he enjoyed too. This is a great little hole in the wall in Vero Beach. They have some really exotic options for their tacos. Each option taste a little different and gives you a unique flavor profile. My favorite thing on the menu is the loaded tater tots. It's the perfect comfort food. There isn't a much better combo than cheesy queso, tater tots, and jalapeños.
