Great spot with killer food and super sweet staff. I finally got a chance to visit and I was not disappointed. They have a nice selection of beers for those that partake. We had the trio- with the seasoned chips perfectly complementing the queso. I had the pork bowl and it was so flavorful. The serving size was huge and I took home for lunch the next day. My husband had the Cajun shrimp and steak tacos, and he commented they definitely don't skimp on filling the tacos up. It's a small place but the servers are hustling to turn over tables and there are some seats at the bar. read more

Our gang of 4 enjoyed diner of Tacos and Fresh Fish Rice Bowls with beans and rice. Ordered sides of chips with salsa and Tater Tots. Good selection of draught brewkies. I chose delicious Sir Jon's Red Irish. Tucked away on 2nd Street. Street parking. Food was fresh and tasty. Yesterday, a friend of mine asked me to meet her at Taco Dive in Fort Pierce. She was driving back from Port St Lucie (we both live in Fort Pierce) and as I had never been or heard of them, I said sure why not? She bragged on the food. I arrive at about noon, our meet up time. Waitresses are super friendly, say sit anywhere and I took at tabletop near the cooks. I ordered a virgin Arnold Tea, then after a bit asked for chips/queso. My friend did not arrive until almost 2p. She thought Taco Dive was still near the Beach (closed over a year ago) and struggled with the parking lot app, etc. Then discovered restaurant not there at that location. The girls kept refilling my glass of Arnold tea. Thank goodness the chips were hot/plentiful and the cheese warm and gooey. When my friend finally arrived, she wanted to go somewhere else. #1 because the place is small and #2 she had her dog with her and the only option was to sit outside near the street. I will need to go back and try out what I was going to order, the flavorful sounding chicken taco bowl. What a day!! read more

Taco Dive - The Wahoo taco was amazing! - Mexican Near Me - Fort Pierce, Florida

While this location is a bit of a drive for me, it's definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm around. It's a small restaurant, very cozy and a few larger tables to accommodate groups. The food was served very quickly and all of it was pretty tasty. Shrimp taco was delicious! The shrimp were cooked perfectly (not overcooked like many places tend to do). The chicken taco is shredded chicken breast. The toppings and sauces were perfect. The burrito is a pretty decent size, surprised to find tater tots in them! The sauce was a queso type- really good! Would have loved to try the pork but it wasn't available until the evening, we went for lunch. Tater tots are cooked perfectly crunchy. The cooks do a great job! Staff is very friendly as well. Not a big selection of beer but a few choices. They don't have kids options but you can put something together for them and if they're picky eaters, prob not a lot of choices. Prices are pretty average. Not the highest and not low. Definitely a little twist to tacos but pleasant twist! I liked the food and ambiance. I would love some more flavor in the steak but the sauces and toppings all work together nicely. Definitely a place to check out if you're in FP! read more

I'm so glad I looked this place up on Google Maps because it was a win all around. I was visiting friends in the Fort Pierce area, and had some time to kill while they were handling business down the street. I had no idea where to eat, and I was starving! I couldn't of found a better place to satisfy my stomach. This little whole-in-the-wall taco place lived up to its name. Taco Dive has a few locations, and if they are anything like this location, you'll be pleasantly satisfied no matter where you dine. I loved the decor and vibe of this place. It was fun, quaint and clean! The service was excellent and the server gave some great recommendations for my dietary needs. I ordered a simple side of guac and chips, and two different soft tacos. The Taco Bella and Steak. They were so good! Honestly, my favorite was the steak. :) There was something special about that one, and it will be my go-to when I come back. Everything was fresh, hot and super flavorful. Taco Dive is a must for a quick, affordable, and flavorful meal. I can't wait to go back for more. read more

The food here is always consistently good! You can't beat the prices either. The staff is always welcoming and I'm shocked they're not busier inside (but they do a ton of togo orders). I wish they could have a crunchy taco option also. read more

Been one of our "go tos" for years. Thought lately very disappointed in beer selection (probably the best brewery around is just down the street and they don't carry their beers) and inconsistent on pours. We ordered an IPA and they came in small pear-shaped glasses, maybe 8 ounces. When asked, the waitress said it was because of alcohol content. We noted it was just 6% so she changed her story to that it was "special". Well the guy at the table next to us had the same beer in a pint glass. Just didn't make sense, unless she figured we would be more likely to order more. The food is still good though kind of surprising that they haven't added to the menu in years. Getting old. read more

We enjoyed our visit yesterday so much that we came back today with the rest of our family. Today's fish was swordfish! Yesterday's mahi mahi was great but this was even better. The ailing sauce is just right. A perfect add. I have a gluten allergy and when the menus don't list it specifically, it can indicate an unsafe environment but NOT here! They knew exactly what I could have, how to alter the meal, and made sure the grill area was safe. Thank you, Taco Dive!! read more

I attempted to eat at this establishment today, but both waitresses kept walking past me. now, I ad some patience by know everyone is table to spend over1 hr. waiting on their food. I had to ask for a menu. they blonde haired girl was very condescending when she brought the menu by saying"I need to warn you it's more than a 30min wait for yoir order. I advised her I just want to start the process by placing and order. Her response made me decideagainst trusting what I consume from their establishment. I wouldn't NEVER rerun here and the owner need to redirect this employee! ars they forgetting that these waitresses are Facw of your business?! I will share my story with everyone who will listens. read more

I've visited this business more than once. I usually order to-go. My last order was a shrimp taco, ground beef taco, and a shredded chicken taco. Everything was delicious. Everything is fantastic. My mother and I always eat there. When we are in a hurry we go thru the drive-thru. We especially love your taco boxes because they are similar to KFC. This place is small but the food packs a punch! As we sat down we commented to ourselves that it sort of looked like a spruced up hole in the wall. Guess what? That's what they were going for! A neighborhood hole in the wall. Blue walls, stained or varnished crates on the wall. Cool light fixtures (one looks like a really old bed spring). The bar is small and the kitchen is tiny. We ordered the chicken nachos which is supposed to be an appetizer but I ordered it as a meal. We also had two beef tacos and one pork taco. The beef by itself had a lot of flavor which made this taco a good choice. The pork one came with cut up pineapple. The nachos where delicious. Will definitely be coming back for more! read more

I popped in for a snack before a long drive and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the steak taco just the way it comes and it was possibly the best taco I've ever had. The flavors were amazing, the meat tender and it was loaded full of ingredients such as cilantro sauce, cojita cheese, tomatoes, sliced cabbage and radishes and of course plenty of steak. I just wish I took a photo of my taco before I devoured it to show you. I came at the end of lunch rush so didn't have to wait for a table and the server was very friendly. A wonderful lunch spot or dinner as they also have draft beers and a braise seating setup. Good music and friendly staff. You should definitely try it out, as I know I'll be back again soon. read more

5 stars is not enough. Great service and atmosphere. And the food? Amazing! It's clear that the chefs behind this menu put a lot of thought into their combinations. While you can get some of the standards like the "boring" beef, some of their other combos are unique and on point such as the corned beef, or the blt! BOLO the special taco that is available starting on Friday, And the drunken burrito, is excellent, it has tater tots inside! They've always got something interesting and amazing flavors that keep me coming back. Literally several times a week. read more

My boyfriend who is a Florida native decided to bring me to this little spot today while we are in town visiting. I can easily say I was very impressed! I am usually hesitant with fish tacos, as I prefer filets but Taco Dive really nailed it! We got the Fresh Fish of the Day tacos, today was Swordfish and they were absolutely delicious! The lemon aioli sauce was the icing on top! Let's not even get started on the appetizer. We got the spicy tomatillo salsa and chips, this had to be the best salsa I have ever had! It was so fresh and crisp, not too watery, and just the right amount of spice! This experience was a 10/10 and I will be looking forward to returning when in town from now on! read more

We came around 8 pm, an hour before close, none of us were that hungry but needed a little something. All of us cleaned our plates! I had the shrimp tacos, and so did another one of us, who ended up adding an extra once he finished! My aunt and uncle shared the drunken burrito and absolutely loved it! My boyfriend had the steak tacos, he loved them minus the radishes! Queso and guac were phenomenal! read more

We stumbled on this place while we were visiting. The pictures and reviews looked good so we decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did. The service was great and fast. The staff was very nice. The place was clean. We tried the burrito (get it wet, with Queso). It was great, it had potatoes in it which adds a great crunch and a heartiness to it. The ground beef in it was very tasty. We also tried the shrimp and steak tacos. Both were delicious, the sauce they put on it is especially good. Check this place out if you're in the area and want good tacos. read more

If you're looking for some quick street style tacos in Fort Pierce, this is the place to go! My wife and I wanted to stop and grab a quick taco for dinner and found this gem! The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The menu itself has a good variety of street style tacos, appetizers and a great smothered burrito. I got the steak and Cajun shrimp tacos and was amazed at how great they tasted. Both tacos were large and very full. They were very generous with the sauce and the avocado on top! The avocado was very fresh and added a great touch to the dish. My wife got the beef burrito and added the "smothered" option. I was a little skeptical about having tatter tots inside a burrito but it was amazing! The tots were crispy and crunchy and added some great textures overall. With such a great atmosphere and excellent food, we really felt like we had a good meal at a great price. We will definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

We stopped here on Friday, Oct 22 for lunch at about 11:45AM during our drive from Ft Lauderdale to Cape Canaveral. We sat indoors, and it wasn't very busy at the time we arrived; however, it picked up by the time we left. We had some very friendly servers and we found everyone to be nice and friendly. The food was equally as good. We had the Irish Taco and the Cajun Shrimp Taco along with the Drunken Burrito. Everything we had was super delicious and the portions per the prices were on par with what you would expect. There is plenty of nearby free street parking and the location is beautiful with just a short walk to the water. read more

Food was good. I love the pork tacos. They came with a delicious Thai sauce and pineapple! Yummmmy. And the chicken taco was yummy too. I will say, some of the tacos are expensive (5-8$ each) BUT they do load them up with a lot of meat and toppings! The service was friendly and the ambiance was nice and laid back. I would give the entire experience a 100%. Between two people (my boyfriend and I) we got 3 tacos each and spend 40$ with the tip. Not bad price! read more

Food took about an hour on a to go order and seemed awfully expensive for what we got. When going to go pick up the order, one waitress was hacking up a lung and the other was rude and was complaining to customers how business was "slow" as the entire place was packed to the point of not being able to even sit at the bar. This was solid winner in downtown Ft. Pierce, everything made quickly to order. Excellent service from the team. A small fun place to grab a beer with tacos and burritos. My Son would call this a hipster taco place, and that is exactly what it is. Tater tots with pulled pork in my burrito was good, but it had a weird nacho cheese sauce on top that was just off in flavor to me. What this place needs to kick it up is to make and provide a red & green authentic salsa that you can add to your tacos and burritos. And how about some fresh cilantro and offer a variety of hot sauces. With all that said, I would go back to this small chain restaurant!! read more
