I don't normally get five star food from a strip mall location but this place is amazing! The quesabirria tacos are authentic (goat) and juicy. The consommé was just like perfect icing on the cake! I'v eaten birria in many places but this is the one took me back to Mexico! Service was prompt and friendly. Food temps were hot. Dining area and restrooms are clean. Excellence! read more

Service was good, they checked on us frequently and everyone was polite. The steak on the tacos was chewy and rubbery, not very good at all. The enchiladas weren't flavorful, very simple. It was very hot in the restaurant, you can hear the fans but no ac. This place is definitely a pass for me, for the price I'd rather go to Casa Amigos up the road. read more

I have dined here twice now. I will say the server was very attentive and nice, but the food took a while to come out especially since both times there was only one other table in the dining room besides us. The first visit I had the Birria tacos which were highly recommended by the server. My daughter orders the Nachos after trying to order Carne Asada Fries, which they said they do not make. I also had a Margarita. I would say the Margarita honestly tasted like there was no alcohol in it. The Birra tacos were lacking flavor as well. The Nachos were nicely presented, and the portion was huge! The second visit was with my husband, and I did not mention anything to him about the food from the first visit. He ordered the Birria tacos (same server, highly recommended) he said the exact same thing about them lacking in flavor. I wanted posole which they sadly do not serve. I ended up ordering the ceviche and tried to order a taco ala carte which I was told I couldn't order a single taco. You can only order the meal portion. A little odd for a taco place. The ceviche was good, but not ceviche. The shrimp were actually grilled and not cooked in lime juice like traditional ceviche. All tacos I tried (Al pastor, shredded beef, pollo, chorizo, carne asada) were under seasoned with the exception of the chorizo. The beans and rice were okay but a little too salty. The beans were also liquified. Salsas were good! Maduros (sweet plantains) were burnt and were supposed to come with 2 sauces. I only got 1 that was supposed to be honey sour cream but there was no honey in it. The carne asada had a lot of chewy fatty pieces. I stopped into Casa Del Taco after driving by it for years. I read some reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I came in for lunch and glad I did. I was welcomed warmly and took a seat in a comfortable booth. Looking over the menu I saw the veggie burrito and ordered it. I had some chips and salsa and was offered the spicy salsas as well. I like spice so I definitely wanted to try it. The salsas came on a separate plate and they were nice and flavorful. My veggie burrito arrived quickly and I was quite impressed. The menu says it's full of fresh veggies and it was. The burrito was big and filling not to mention delicious. It comes with rice and refried beans which were very tasty. Add in some of the spicy salsa and I really enjoyed my meal. The servers are incredibly friendly and kind. They checked on me several times to make sure everything was ok. I really enjoyed my meal and the service was excellent. I'll certainly be back and suggest you give Casa Del Taco a try. read more

Came here the other day with my hubby for lunch. Service was decent. The food was amazing! We both got the burrito supreme with shredded beef and it was so good. My hubby ordered the chorizo queso as an appetizer and it was pretty good too. The verde salsa is spicy but really good so make sure you ask for that and extra of it. read more

Loved this place! Complimentary chips and salsa while you wait for your food. The tacos are pretty authentic, and even have a Tex-Mex option which is the lettuce, tomato and cheese version. I had chicken and pastor tacos and they were delicious. Lots of flavor in the meat. They make some more varieties or tacos such as tripe and goat which is not so common to come across in these restaurants. Pricing is very fair and the menu options are great with everything from taco salads to burritos or seafood dishes. They make spicy salsas that are true Mexican nature with the level of heat! Taco Thursday anyone? I was searching for a local restaurant for our date night and this place struck my interest. Tacos and great reviews... can't go wrong. For whatever reason, the GPS on yelp sent me across the street. Nothing annoys me more then wrong directions. Yelp needs to fix these kinks. They're located in the Hobby lobby shopping center off to the right at the end. There was plenty of parking for a Thursday night. The inside was cozy and festival. We sat at the booth closes to the front door. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. We were served with salsa and chips to start off with. The menu itself had a full variety of many different options. I like the fact that pictures were included for certain items. We tend to pick one of those. We started the night with a bang ordering margaritas with salt. Two large glasses came out and it made you forget that we had one more work day tomorrow. I ordered the Chimichanga which came out in a large plate of delicious food. It consisted of, deep fried burrito with pulled pork, beans, lettuce, guacamole and rice. Enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Just kidding, I cleaned my plate it was so good. I did skipped the rice, no extra carbs needed. Our witness did offer us two types of house made sauces. I couldn't refuse. We did try both sauces and we felt like they didn't have much flavor. I tried it a couple of times and there was no wow factor. This wasn't something I would request next time. Our bill came out and for everything we ordered, it wasn't breaking the bank. The cost was on point and for how high everything is now a days, this was nice not to squirm. Located in the same plaza as Mikata Buffet, I found this restaurant through my Honduran friend, who invited me here for dinner 2 weeks ago. She had already visited the restaurant earlier in the week, but wanted to come back to try more dishes. I don't really eat at Mexican restaurants since I am picky with this type of food because they never live up to my expectations of my mom's cooking. However, this is one of my favorite sit-down Mexican spots so far. With my friend, we ordered the Trio de La Casa, the Quesabirria Tacos (3) con Consome, and un taco al pastor. Both of our meals came with sides of Mexican rice and beans along with some tortillas and limes. While the taco was flavorful, it didn't fill that craving for al pastor, but the beans made up for it. They were so good! Especially when grabbing that with some rice in a tortilla. The Trio's steak and chicken were delicious; I like my shrimp crispier, so the shrimp didn't taste as great for me without adding hot sauce. For us, our total came out to less than $45, not including the tip. A few days later, I came back after work with my boyfriend because I wanted him to try out the Quesabirria Tacos con Consome. This time, I ordered the Fajitas de la Casa; this involved steak, chicken, and shrimp. This whole dish was delicious, and the shrimp tasted so good with the sauce. The beans were still doing their thing, and my boyfriend ordered some churros for dessert. I'm not a big fan of churros in general because I don't like how sweet they are, but if you like very sweet and crunchy churros, these are for you. My friend did find out I was at the restaurant, and since she worked nearby, asked us to bring her some food to-go! Including her meal, our total this time came to less than $60 before tip. Found large piece of plastic in my food! First time we tried this place, ordered take out. I went in to pick up and two people behind the counter didn't even acknowledge me. A nice young man who was on break eating his dinner got up to serve me. Place wasn't busy - just one table dining in. Got home and started eating my burrito and pulled PLASTIC out of my mouth - yuck!!! I immediately called the business and politely spoke to the Manager (or owner)? Shockingly, he didn't apologize. He didn't sound at all surprised when I told him of the plastic. He asked if I wanted to come get a new burrito and I asked for a refund rather. So he refunded just the burrito, and decided to keep the funds for the fajitas and tip. Finally, the very last word he said before hanging up without a goodbye was "sorry". We try hard to support local restaurants during these tough times, but this business should be ashamed of their lack of professionalism and manners. Highly do NOT recommend! read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm glad they did! The food was absolutely incredible. My table started with the guacamole which was perfectly made. Then I got the enchiladas suizas because I love a good green sauce. My friend got the street style tacos which also looked incredible. We finished with the churros, they were crunchy and delicious.
