The food we had was excellent. Maybe the chips on the crab dip could have been fresher but overall well done. We had a fried platter, crab dip, sushi. All perfect. So honestly I'd be more of a 3.5 overall tonight and the food was more like 4.5. But i left cranky so I rounded down instead of up. We were sat immediately which was great. The view is quite pleasant. But the service was truly an issue. First we waited forever for our crab dip to come out. In fact our dinners showed up first and by then we were starving. We were told there were a bunch of big parties upstairs and the server wasn't sure what was going on. Ok fine. But as she dropped the plates we asked for more drinks. The ice tea came out immediately. But the bar drink....we waited. After a long while she brought out another tables drinks. Right after she dropped them she took an order from behind me. By the time she was done with them we were done with dinner and as it's a 45 minute drive home we were ready. This time it was the bar that had a problem. That being said they took the crab dip off the bill to try to make it right but I'm about the experience not the money. A simple I'm sorry shows more class than reasons. To leave a customer sitting an overly long time not once but twice just doesn't work. While I'm not rushing back we'll likely try again at some point as it is good food. I have celiac disease, so I appreciate the gluten free markings on the menu. But wow was the food bad. $30 for the worst cut of fish I've ever had, probably 5oz total, 2 of which were blood line and inedible. That wasn't even the worst part. The service was quite possibly the worst I've ever experienced. She's lucky I forgot her name, because I would love to put it here. The first thing we told her was that I had celiac disease and explained that it was a severe gluten allergy, this will be important at the end. Throughout the night we were neglected, only seeing her about 3 times. We never got refills, we had to grab our own silverware, while getting rained on. Eventually we managed to flag a different person down to move tables. Skipping to the end, because they felt bad for how we were treated, they gave us 2 free key lime pies. The kicker? I CANT EAT THEM BECAUSE OF MY GLUTEN ALLERGY. I really hope they manage to hire more competent people in the future, because I will not be returning again. read more

As a frequent customer of Two George's of Boynton Beach, I had to come check out Two George's Dockside Grille Port Salerno, their new location. I was extremely curious because I was a frequent customer of this establishment when it was known as Twisted Tuna. I came with my boyfriend and friends of ours. When I walked in, there really was not much of a difference in the decor. It is a very beachy Key West vibe. There was a good crowd inside. It was a cold night, so we did not attempt to go outside but could see the outside bar and band from our table. It was in the evening also so unfortunately we were unable to really enjoy the view. I was able to see that cornhole was available on the deck if you were up for a game or two. Now to the good part..the food. Our server was Madison, who created us with a smile. They have 2 menus a regular dining and a sushi menu. We started off with the Tuna Nachos, Mussels Marinara, and a dozen Blue Point Oysters. My boyfriend and I could not wait to taste the nachos that I forgot to take a picture of the dishes. I couldn't get over how fresh and plentiful that tuna was on the nachos. The oysters also fresh with mildly salty and sweet taste. The marinara for the mussels, you can taste the fresh tomatoes. We became more curious now with the sushi menu, so we ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll and the Pirates roll were both outstanding. Finally, dinner, my boyfriend and I shared the Swordfish Rockefeller, and our friends ordered the Carne Asada Tacos and the Mardi Gras Roll. Our friends really enjoyed their dishes. Ours, I can't stop thinking about it. The swordfish was cooked to perfection. I can not remember the last time I had swordfish cooked so perfectly. The shrimp were also cooked perfectly. Both went so well with the spinach and rice in the lemon butter sauce. The sauce was not overbearing, and I loved the flavor of the garlic in it. Ever dish just exceeded our expectations. We also were able to meet Maria, the manager, who was so welcoming. I see great things for the new owners and this place. I can't wait to go back to try more dishes. read more

We were there on a Monday, at the bar, inside and the food was good-2-great, but make sure your read the whole review. It turned out to be 20% off Sushi night. We split an appetizer of fried pickle slice, which were delicious but a meal for two. The portions were more than generous. I had the Ninja Sushi roll (delicious) and my wife had the Crunchy Tuna Roll (delicious). I was especially impressed with their happy hour prices - very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. And if you're a fan of a good drink, you won't be disappointed with the pour! The bartenders don't skimp, offering a solid level of pour that made the cocktails worth the stay after happy hour. The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow with the sushi on a quiet night--not that we were going anywhere-- but on a busy night this might be an issue. This was the first time we returned here, since the Twisted Tuna / Fysh debacle (Twisted Tuna vs Sid Sethi Legal Case), when the place was so filthy I had to wash my hands after touching the menu, passing through the bar area that smelled rancid, into a bathroom unworthy of the 3rd world. LOL. Now that Two Georges are the new owner/Operator and they seem to have the Food & Beverages under control, there is still the need for a deep cleaning throughout the restaurant (inside). The behind the bar scene still looks bad. Use some PineSol on the flooring throughout the inside and freshen up the air-- there are still hints of ammonia and dirty rags being used. Then rip apart the bar and clean, paint, and freshen things up. When I worked at a breach concession as a kid, the owner of the place made us clean everything behind the counter, top to bottom, move every piece of equipment and clean behind the rolling freezers where food and liquids always find their way. We had to do this every day after closing, and it made a difference when you heard patrons comment on how clean the place was. I do not get that sense of work-ethic here. This bar/restaurant is sitting on one of the most idyllic locations on the Treasure Coast. There is always live music, the staff are friendly, but they still need some direction on service excellence to make this place a break-away leader of the area. With a lot of new places coming on-line and in season, the competition can easily pass them at the Finish line. Overall, despite the issues mentioned, Two Georges still delivers a satisfying meal, and the relaxed atmosphere combined with great deals makes it a spot worth visiting. Hopefully, with a bit more attention on the ownership's part, providing the staff with the resources needed, this place will fully shine under its new management. We will be back. read more

Let me first say, my husband and I really enjoy the Boynton location. We had high expectations. From the time we were taken through the bar - which smelled like old, dirty mop - and seated near a large table with lists of kids whose parents where encouraging their bad behavior, I knew we were in for it. The server came over and said, what can I get you? When we gave our drink orders and she disappeared for more than 15min. We almost got up and left. When she returned she said she had to make more tea-ok. The conch fritters were good, as we expected. The grouper was far too small and the crab cake was not good. I am not one to complain like this but I also worked in this business for years and I know what I'm seeing. They need to get a grip on the staff and the food. Would not recommend. I was in there Labor day, and its not often you get to witness true greatness or true incompetence, but this was one of those days. I was upstairs witnessing the bartender and the waiter really hustle to cover all the customers that just kept coming. You could tell they were both in the weeds a bit. My food arrived, everything was good, but my attention was on the show these two were putting on. At one point finally a manager came upstairs, did not check with either employee picked up a couple dishes and left. I love eating out and watching the dance the staff does to make your experience enjoyable. How a manager with that many people could casually walk through not check on supplies, or ice, or even silverware is beyond me. True incompetence can take your breathe away. Wow, and not in a good way. From start to finish the experience was horrible. Pulling in to valet the valet himself was aggressive.(was better upon leaving) the hostess was friendly. We were seated and waited 10 minutes and no one came to greet us so we moved to the bar. Dismal service at best. A brown liquid leaked from the ceiling on to my husband. When I told the server she replied with "oh we know. There's supposed to be a cone there" ( I'm sorry, if you knew why would you not tell him upon him sitting in this spot?) then there are numerous alcohol bottles without pour spouts or even lids. Which seems unsanitary, and frankly disgusting if you're aware the ceiling over the bar is leaking. Food was lack luster and the fish was frankly disgusting and tasted old. We have visited Two George's a few times now since they took over this spot. We loved Twisted before and we love Two George's now. They have really given this place a nice refresh with new paint schemes and wall murals. We noticed on our most recent visit, that they added sunshades to the patio tables that were not under cover, which was really nice to keep the sun out of our eyes! The staff is still amazing. We love to see our OG servers from Twisted still working at Two George's. The menu has been condensed down to a doubled sided menu, with a separate sushi/raw bar menu, which I am not mad about. The seafood and sushi is still amazing. We will continue to return for a nice meal by the water! read more

Nice location right in the Manatee Pocket. I've travelled to a lot of different spots in Florida and if this place was off the water , it probably wouldn't make it. My daughter and I had the New England chowder and it was like paste - so much flour that just stuck to your spoon, we both had a hard time with it. My daughter had the calamari, which were big hoops, larger than we had seen served before. She works summers at the Jersey Shore at an excellent seafood restaurant so she knows good seafood. These were greasy and chewy. I had the bang bang shrimp, which I returned. It was also real greasy, loaded with breading and the shrimp were very small and stuck together. I was only able to eat 3-4 and couldn't eat the rest. My wife had the blackened chicken served over rice, which she liked. She said the chicken had good flavor, texture and tasted fresh. Our server was vert sweet, but spread way too thin. She took the bang bang shrimp off the bill, which was a professional move. I thought it was better when it was the Twisted Tuna. We won't go back unless we get good reports from friends that the food has gotten better. read more
