Love this little donut shop! They are 24/7 and have beautiful donuts with unique flavors available. Hubby and I went two days in a row and ordered a half dozen donuts because we were craving. I found the ones with creams and jellies were so delicious, a few of the others were slightly dry and I felt the circus cookie flavor could've come through more on the donut. Otherwise we enjoyed it and great customer service was given! The girl who works alone at night is awesome and super helpful. Favorite flavors: Rasberry Cheesecake and Strawberries and Cream!!! It's true! They're open 24 hours!!! Parking is very limited.. there's street parking, 2 concert spots on the side or the gravel area. Only problem with the gravel area is it's not well lit. I was so excited bc all the pictures from Yelp looked very inviting. So I was looking at all the different options, and the cashier asked, "how many are you planning to get? 6 or 12?" I just got there less than 1min ago, and she's already pushing doughnuts. I told her I wasn't sure. Then she pushed again and said "well I need to prepare the type of box to set up for your order. " There was NOBODY THERE BUT US, and for some reason she's just in such a hurry! My husband finally said 6. Doughnuts 3/5 Ok, so when we finally got our order, we tried a few. I thought the special flavor would reflect the entire doughnut, but it didn't. They basically take a regular glazed donut, put a cookie crumble on top and say it's that cookie! Hit up Twisted and Glazed on the way back home from a trip north. It had come recommended, so my cousin and I decided to make the quick detour. The place is quaint. Parking is wicked limited, but we came at a good time. I can see where when things are crowded it could be a pain. Unfortunately, we also seemed to come at an "off" time for the selection and freshness of the donuts available. The shop is open 24/7, but with that also comes the probability of limited selections...and what is available having been there for a while. We ended up picking out four donuts, two of the more specialty variety (s'mores and almond joy) and two standards (maple glazed and buttermilk bar). All four were delicious. Just what we needed in Paso! A cute "sweets" shop with some unique and super tasty bakery items. I was impressed with the selection and everything looked yummy. We tried two different donuts, an apple pie and and an espresso. Very fresh and delicious! They offer a complete selection of coffee drinks and an assortment of regular food items including acai bowls. Not sure if I'll ever be able to pass up the luscious donut selection for something healthier there, but maybe... A great place to stop for something to bring to your next dinner party? Stopped by to grab a quick donut. I'm not huge of donuts but u was craving one this morning. There were so many unique options that I had a difficult time choosing. I ended up getting the Oreo peppermint donut and I kind of wish I got something else instead. The donut itself was pretty dry. I ended up throwing half away. I think if I were to have gotten the Boston creme or something else filled I would've had a better experience. I'm in town for a few more days so maybe I'll make another trip back if I'm in a donut mood. read more

Have gone here twice. Good both times. I think the menu changes based on availability and what they decide to make. They have traditional donuts, like plain, glazed, sugar, etc. but they also have the "trendy" donuts as of late. The raised donuts are good, light and fluffy, and look so pretty!!! We've had the Oreo, the muddy buddy, a sugar one, and some others. I like the venue and think it's cool that's it's open 24 hours. Very cute donut place in/near downtown Paso, parking was a little strange but we easily managed on a Monday morning. We got a fruity pebble and maple bacon donut - I must say, the donut's themselves are *fantastic* they were so soft and chewy, none of that gross stale dough some may get after a few hours of being baked. The added on tops just amped the flavor more, I probably would've been just as happy with one of their regular donuts! Only downside is they're sooo expensive for a donut LOL I understand maybe the one with bacon, but it still baffles me how some donuts can cost $4+ (I actually don't remember exact price but it was a bit much) ALONE. The twisted glazed was good but average, as were the donut holes and my little one enjoyed her circus animal donut. But there was something about that blueberry cheesecake that was off... I don't know if they stuff it with something or if the dough was just raw inside. Small space inside, but it's cozy and fun. Warm too with all the fresh donuts being made. I came in one evening and was surpised to see they still had several apple fritters available. Most donut shops only make those in the mornings and are out by lunch, or if they aren't it's too old to want. This place had a few good sized ones that I was happy to try. It was big, fresh, and really well flavored. Not greasy, and not too flaky with the sugar glaze. I was quite happy with it. I don't know that I'd want to come in here and hang out, but to pop in and then bail with donuts this place works great. Bonus points for being open 24/7, that's legit. read more

Personally, I thought they were tasty enough but maybe it was because they weren't fresh from the AM oven, a little dried out and not a lot to choose from. They were sitting on a shelf kind of looking picked over and a little pricey compared to DK down the street. Came here 2x on our trip for breakfast and coffee. They seem short staffed but were very friendly and welcoming even with a long line. Speaking of, the line is worth the wait. The donuts have a fresh, thick glaze that taste exactly like the fruit they were juiced from. The breakfast burrito is one of the best I have ever eaten, it was made to order, and you can tell they care about the quality of ingredients. Crispy crunchy on the outside and light on the inside, and with maple glaze, my FAVorite. If I had to use one word to describe Twisted and Glazed, it would be adorable. The establishment is small but packs whimsy in the space it has with some old style furniture, mint colored decor, and generally just has a colorful feel. Family-friendly for sure...everyone from soccer kids to cowboys swung by to pick something up. I grew up in the area and can confirm that this is the first speciality donut shop around, complete with on-trend acai bowls and other goodies. Any donut shop can add toppings to create a unique look, but what I truly loved about this place was the fluffiness of the donut itself. The texture was just perfect! All donuts are served in boxes instead of bags, so we did feel a little like fatties with a box to ourselves but it was worth it! If you're with someone who needs a classic donut, the cinnamon rolls, cinnamon twists and old fashioned donuts all looked delicious as well. Parking: plenty. Options include street, a dirt lot next door, and even the shopping center across the street if necessary. The indoor and outdoor seating both have a nice feel. The staff is young and helpful. We went on a Sunday morning around 8:30/9:00 and the place got really busy around 9:30/10:00. The girl at the counter told me that they have run out of donuts around 2pm in the past and their closing time is 4pm. It's definitely a solid add to Paso! read more

Grocery store donuts are better than theirs. The croissant for the sandwich was obviously an old Costco one, dry as a bone. The counter girl was slow, forgot to put our acai bowl order in. Waited 15 minutes for 4 items to go. We complained and all they did was say sorry. Very unprofessional food service. They should have offered to comp us a cup of coffee at the least. But they didn't. We ate our apple bear claw donut on the road and it was actually peach filling from a can, not even apple. Worst breakfast place in Paso. We'll never go back. read more

I've gone there several times and never attention to what they were charging. I don't mind paying a high price for quality. I bought a Ham and Cheese Croissant and Coffee to go a couple times, I think the total was around $16 and change. The Ham and Cheese Croissant were excellent, but the coffee was not even Diner quality. Better coffee available at 7/11 or any other gas station. Also they don't make ordinary Plain Cake Donuts. Those are really the only Donuts I like, because they are great for dunking. I get that they are trying to be a "fancy" donut place, but charging a huge price doesn't make it good. I went in the last time just for a coffee to go. $3.75. I tasted it, and it was horrible. The same size is $2.25 at Starbucks and their coffee as we all know is fine. I was just very very disappointed at the low quality of their coffee yet an extraordinary price. I never tried any of their donuts, they appear to be very nice, but like I said, I only buy Plain Cakes fr dunking. They see, to be trying to set themselves apart from an ordinary Donut shop, fine to charge allot more, but they are simply not delivering on the quality. Really, really lousy coffee. read more

Cute lil donut place here in Paso Robles. Entering the shop you expect a good amount of donuts to be on display with an array of colors, but it was underwhelming. Maybe we came at the wrong time where they were making a new batch? Not sure, the sugar high was definitely not there. We got 5 donuts - hisbiscus, strawberry, hazelnut coffee, oreo and creme brulee. The creme brulee donut was disappointing. When you think of a creme brulee, you think of cracking that sugar top. This donut did not have it and their creme anglaise i found was grainy. We needed some coffee for our drive back to LA. Several great sounding options came up but this one also had donuts. At that point the decision was easy. It is a small place with some nice outdoor seating. The donuts are large and look great. They clearly take pride in not just the baking but the visuals. They have several classic flavor options but also some unique options too. I opted for a bavarian creme and a maple bacon. One is plenty to fill you up, but I had to try multiple flavors. Both were tasty and fresh. The creme was my favorite though. It had a nice dollop of creme in the middle. The donut its self had good flavor and the creme made it even better. They also have coffee of course. I just had plain black coffee. It was good though. The only downside was Amber ordered a latte and it took way too long. Overall though it was a very good experience and we will come back on our next trip to the area. read more

So, I kept having to ask the girl what kind of donuts they were. She spoke softly and was annoyed that I kept asking her to repeat herself.
