We were just looking for light bites as we weren't super hungry. We ordered HH -wings (dry rub), chips and dip, rotisserie quesadilla and a side of dill fries. I also ordered a pomegranate margarita. Food was good as always. Rafael provided excellent & personable service the entire time- from checking on us often to making recommendations for dishes to try when we return (short ribs). Love this place! Located next to the Delta Marriott hotel, this lively restaurant draws visitors from all over. I usually sit at the bar. The happy hour menu has great food and decent drink specials. They also offer "winner winner, chicken dinner" which is a whole rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and broccolini for $20, to-go only. I've had almost everything from the happy hour menu, all good. The pizza is great too! Definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area. read more

Friends and I went on St Paddy's day and were so delighted by the specials they had. Service was INCREDIBLE, the drinks were strong without being overpowering, and the dill fries were absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that I wish this place was closer to my house!! We were recently invited to check out the wonderful @twincities400tavern in Minneapolis, where their team graciously hosted us for some delicious bites & sips from their newly launched spring menu. ‼ First win? They have a full parking lot. If you've followed me long enough, you know how rare -- and important -- that is in the city. Major points right off the bat The ambiance was a refreshing take on your typical tavern/ sports bar -- it's casual yet polished, the kind of spot you can show up in jeans with no problem or dress up a little for a date night. There's a beautiful patio area outside that'll be PERFECT once the warmer weather sticks, plus a bright, glass-enclosed type sunroom that doubles as a private event space. There was plenty of room to gather, relax and actually hear the people you're with. The space itself felt so warm & welcoming, with that signature Minnesota hospitality -- it reminded me a lot of Tavern 4&5 or Tavern on France, but larger, with a more relaxed vibe and really approachable price point. We started with the cheese curds, which were no lie the best I've ever had: light, fluffy (think ), and miraculously not greasy. From there, we shared (not really) the smash burger and braised short rib, which came with the creamiest risotto and crispy shoestring onions -- a really thoughtful, elevated twist on comfort food. To sip, I tried out the new margarita -- not too sweet, not too salty, just a really balanced and refreshing cocktail. We ended the note on a high note with a caramel apple tart, served warm and perfectly spiced. I heard about Twin Cities 400 Tavern after attending Grill Fest at CHS last year and was blown away by the burger they were sampling. Unfortunately they didn't have that burger on the menu but we tried The Big Mar and Smokehouse BBQ burgers, both were delicious but I think The Big Mar was my favorite of the two. The onion rings-- so so so good! The restaurant had a cool feel to it, very spacious with a variety of seating. We sat at the bar and the bartender was the sweetest!! I forgot her name but she had red hair and was so friendly, made our experience that much better. We also found out they offer a free shuttle during the fair so we'll be back in August! read more

This spot is awesome! We went for lunch during the week so it was quieter, still busy, but not super loud! It's fun and also family friendly, which is something I always look for. Our server was friendly and efficient, and made sure we had what we needed! Food wise, things were delicious but my absolute favorite was the artichoke dip we got as an appetizer! Warm and scoopable, I loved it. So good. My mom and dad got the walleye sandwich (hefty portion of walleye!) and the rotisserie chicken salad - both loved their meals! I got the short rib and was also impressed. Flavors worked so well together! I could only eat half (thanks to all the artichoke dip I'd eaten) so brought the rest home, and my hubby also loved it! Two business trips staying at the adjoining Delta hotel. I've had quite a few lunches and dinners here, and not once have I experienced anything less than impeccable service. Every interaction has been professional, approachable, and genuinely welcoming. Gab instantly smiled at me as he greeted me, sure maybe he remembered be from my last visit, either way I felt welcome. All staff go above and beyond. The food is consistently on point. From apps to handhelds to full mains, the quality never misses. And honestly, that surprises me a little!! Because if you travel a lot, you know hotel restaurants can be hit or miss. This one.... Definitely not the case. read more

This is a pricier stop for bar food, but the portion sizes and quality is there. Easy lot parking. We ordered the Cuban with Dill Fries, and a Brisket Sandwich with Onion Rings. The Cuban was yummy. The bread wasn't too hard, and the sweet pickles almost taste homemade! There was a good amount of sauce, but it doesn't make my personal list for best Cubans. The dill fries were interesting because the powder that was on them is similar to a vinegar or dill pickle chip. I thoroughly enjoyed them! My partner's was a hardy brisket sandwich with onion rings, which he demolished almost immediately. I also ordered an old-fashioned and a Jack Daniels. The old-fashioned was okay. It actually didn't taste very strong, which is strange for an old-fashioned, but the Jack was mixed really well (if you catch my drift)! Twin Cities 400 Tavern is a go-to happy hour spot. They've got trivia on certain nights and stellar prices. The prices plus food/drink quality is the allure for me. I stayed at the attached hotel and boy was I glad this tavern was here and had really good food! For lunch I had the Cuban (not pictured) but it definitely was very good. I do find the service to be a little sluggish or frustrating sometimes, the server has no idea about the available beverages (spirits, beers on tap) and forces you to use a QR code without having any knowledge or ability to ask questions. Cooked well so the chicken didn't snap back at you. 4 wings though? Imma leave it alone. Pretzel bites with this different tangy/sweet type of mustard, I couldn't stop eating and you got a lot of warm soft pretzels. They also came with cheese sauce. The parm fries were good. I wish the parm would have stuck to the fries more, and been distributed better. Seemed like it was all on top. You get a basket of those and we shared everything. We were full. The margaritas were on point. Again with the small glass though? For the price it should have been in a tall glass. Sooooo the service was great and food good. Not loud or crowded in there. The Dutch baby was fluffy, had a hint of sweetness, savory, and delicious! The gravy and biscuit were the best ever! Generous serving of sausage in the gravy and it was super flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly and crunchy. We ordered an additional side of bacon with the gravy and biscuits. Their bacon was thick cut, chewy but had a bit of a crunch around the edges - which is perfectly prepared in my opinion. Service: When we arrived the restaurant was slow, but we waited for at the front podium and no one greeted us for quite some time. The service after we got seated was great! The restaurant looked nicer than I expected given the what I normally associate with a tavern-- but makes sense as a hotel restaurant connected to the Radisson. Very nice design, full Bloody Mary bar, and many people getting ready to take a shuttle to the Vikings game downtown. I ordered the egg sandwich, which was fine overall. The interior of this place is gorgeous! Very rustic and modern. It felt upscale, yet comfortable and unpretentious. We went for brunch and I immediately noticed their rather extensive Bloody Mary bar. I didn't get one, but they had pretty much everything I would've wanted on one (and some items, such as the hot sauce, had many different options!). The brunch menu itself was a little limited, but there was something for everyone. I ended up getting the breakfast pizza and it was absolutely AMAZING. The gravy made a wonderful base/sauce for it. It was really light and fluffy with the right amount of salt and a wonderful amount of toppings. I highly recommend getting this! The really huge downside to our experience was the service. It was incredibly slow (we were one of three tables in there at the time) and we had to ask for things (like sugar for coffee) multiple times. We never even got the sugar after asking three times. Our server was super absent and not helpful. The food came out relatively quickly, but it took FOREVER to get the check. The melty American cheese however helped add some needed savory notes to each bite. The fluffy bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold the sandwich together. The fries were relatively standard yet crispy and well seasoned. Overall I enjoyed the meal. The service was great and I liked the laid-back atmosphere of the restaurant. I probably would not get the dill pickle fries as they only put the dill pickle powder on top of my bunch of fries instead of coating all of the fries. Menu said it came with parmesan, but I didn't taste it. Anyway, I was given syrup on the side, which surprisingly complimented the dish. While I didn't dislike it, it's not something I'd get again. Nonetheless, it was nice to try something new. - Biscuits and Gravy: very delicious and savory gravy. The dish was very hearty and included potatoes, eggs, and your choice of meat. This I would order next time. That said, nice ambiance, ample seating, and ample parking. Our waitress was kind. The only thing I wish was that she would have been more proactive about refilling coffee and water, especially since there were only two other small parties there. I was looking at the fried chicken sandwich all day long but I decided to go outside the box and get a spinach artichoke dip chicken sandwich. Looks: I think right off the bat you can tell from the picture that the focchia bread is a little thicker than what you would want to eat on a chicken sandwich. I was guessing the sauce of the artichoke dip would soak into the bread, but the artichoke dip was thick so the dense bread probably didn't make sense. A thick on dense sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. In this case, they needed a big plump protein. Chicken: The chicken is barely noticeable as you can see from the picture of the sandwich cut in half. I like to see a nice, big plump, and juicy fried chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich gets lost within the large focchia bread. If you told me this was a chicken sandwich, then you wouldn't even know because the chicken was pounded too thin like a pork tenderloin. Tip: if you're looking for a fried chicken sandwich, then you should probably stick with the original. The original looks fantastic. read more

I've been here a few times. The non-vegetarian and seafood options are great, but vegetarian choices are limited. I usually get the Great Grain bowl (avocado, mango, black beans, red bell pepper, jalapeño, quinoa, chipotle-lime vinaigrette). It's fresh and tasty but served cold like a salad.
