Parlour Patty Melt
Nancy W.

I enjoy the vibe here: the space has lots of interesting architectural details, the booths feel intimate and allow conversation, and it's really attractive. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive; there was not point in the meal where she missed a beat. While it felt overpriced for the size, I will say that their signature parlour burger and patty melt were delicious. I'd even go so far as to say it might be among the best in the Twin Cities. They are known for their Old Fashioned, so I partook; it was memorable. The fries looked hand cut, and were served piping hot with just the right amount of seasoning, and a garlicky cheesy aioli dipping sauce. I noticed when we paid the bill that they charge a 4% service charge for using a credit card. I hate it when companies do that, and that tarnished an otherwise delightful meal.

My friends and I went to visit here for our monthly restaurant night and it just happened to be a very snowy night. There was only one guy waiting tables and working the bar and he did such a great job on such a snowy night. We started with some apps; the French onion dip with homemade chips, loaded fries and Brussel sprouts. Those were all tasty and I enjoyed the homemade cheese dip that was on the fries and wanted to eat it with a spoon. We then each got a burger; funny is that we all chose a different one. We like to stay and chat and catch up about what has happened since last month so we decided to order dessert. My two friends each got a slice of pie and I only wanted a bite of my sisters pie and made a joke that I only wanted a bite and the waiter over heard me and he actually brought me a small slice on the house; he was so nice and I wasn't expecting that at all. It was such a nice booth that we were in and the restaurant wasn't very busy so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. I could sit there for hours and just chat and relax. I can't wait to go back and try more food next time.

Vintage quiet bar with their historic Parlour Burger. Waiter recommended a Single (parlour burger is double burger). He was correct. We shared a burger and fries and cup of soup. Even that too much! My birthday dessert was complimentary! Really delicious. Lots of construction so don't plan on street parking. Choose the pay lot right across 7th!

Living in the cities for over two decades, I think I've heard the most about this burger. I had high expectations, but left felling... meh? The service was friendly, but frankly slow. It was hard getting drinks or refills. They were out of sausage and turkey for their breakfast items, but willingly made adjustments to their dishes for free. Three of us got the burgers in our group and only one of us thought the burger lived up to its reputation. Apparently I'm a burger snob now. I still don't think I'll find one better than Saint Dinette. (RIP )

Parlour Bar in St. Paul was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The service was friendly and attentive, and you'll be thinking about the food for days afterward. Our party of four started with two appetizers, the whipped goat cheese and the cauliflower. Both were great, but the cauliflower really stood out. The peppers gave it a nice kick. Now for the main event, the Parlour Burger. This is an absolute must order and truly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Loved everything about this experience. My friends and I had a fantastic dinner, and I can't wait to return.

Cool vibes, great service and delicious food. The fries were 10/10, the side of aioli was good but probably could have gone without and the parlor burger was perfect!

I had only ever been to the location in north loop, but St. Paul had all the same classics! The Parlour burger is truly one of my favorite burgers - simple but perfectly cheesy and flavorful! All of the other dishes were equally amazing. I was especially surprised by the banana bread dessert. I wasn't expecting much but this was so yummy with each piece having crisp, almost caramelized edges. As per usual with St. Paul, there is only street parking or there is a valet option. We didn't know before, but this is actually free if you are eating at the restaurant and can show your receipt!

We came here to sit at the bar, and have a couple drinks and snacks, and had a great time. The drinks were so delicious, my husband and I had 2 cocktails each and all were really well balanced and went great with food! Our bartender came over and actually made a new drink for my husband without asking, because he felt that the first drink wasn't perfectly up to standard - amazing service, and a testament to their cocktail craft! The food was good as well, we got the burger to share and some snacks, but the cocktails were the true standouts here. We sat in the bar area and while we didn't bring our baby, there was another child having dinner with their parents, so seems like it could be family friendly as well! Overall, great spot for drinks and fantastic service, definitely check them out!

I had a reservation for dinner before going to see Lady Gaga at GCA I was seated at the bar since I was alone and could then be seated for longer than an hour. I enjoyed the interaction with the bartender really enjoyed my Japanese gin and tonic and the Brussel sprouts roasted in basalmic was really good and just the right amount . Don't get here often would come again they do run a limited menu on event nights

Burger 100/10 so good double smash burger! Service was okay, restaurant was fairly empty. Not to loud lots of seating. We also had brussel sprouts which had nice flavors good spice. French fries all four of us agreed way too much salt, we could barely eat. The burger will keep you coming back!

I got the brisket sandwich, and it was good! The Brussel sprouts were also pretty good-- and my old fashioned was strong, and tasty. I think what disappointed me was the limited menu. I am all in favor of smaller menus, but this felt just a little too small... and maybe they're more known for cocktails. I was in town for work, and brought some work colleagues here. It was a nice casual atmosphere. And if I'm back in town, I might go back. But it wasn't so amazing that I'd say, "I have to go back." Oh, and the other thing that was frustrating was the service. The drinks took too long to come out. The food was prompt. But then the check too waaayyy to long.

It's a really cozy moody interior, with *no big lights* aka great low lighting and comfy seating options. When we went, there were just a few other parties there so pretty quiet. I liked that we had a whole corner to ourselves with a sectional couch of sorts and some chairs. They close at 10pm on a Friday night, which felt absurdly early for a cocktail bar. But, we were able to order and drink one drink during the ~45 minutes we had. They closed up shop promptly at 10pm. They had a classics and a "rumors" section of the menu. I didn't think the signature drinks were overly unique, with classics like Paper Plane making that menu side. I had a pomegranate mojito which was good! Consensus was that the cocktails were good not exceptional, especially for the $16-17 price point. We ordered churros for the table which were a table favorite! I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but we enjoyed our time and could see this being a good option if you lived in the neighborhood and don't mind the early close hours.

I have been here two times in the last week and lemme tell ya.. this is quite the spot. I do suggest making a reservation because everytime I go here it is popping! What a vibey place, the lights aren't too bright, it gives a hip, fun, light energy and is not too pretentious but has INCREDIBLE FOOD AND DRINKS. Right now, one of their specials is whitefish toast.. if you enjoy fish at all, you need this. The fish is light and fresh, they put fresh dill on top and it is placed on top of some toasted sourdough bread perfectly. The fish is flavorful, a lil earthy and I feel as if there are capers or olives in in the fish mixture, whatever it is is fire! The burrata, beets, and citrus is a nice lovely, fresh, light app, the burrata is perfection with the beets and fresh, juicy citrus, drizzled with some oil and random pieces of garlic mixed in, YUM. I suggest ordering bread on the side with this one! The wings here are a staple and always delish. Crispy, hot, and coated perfectly in a light sweet chili sauce.. they hit the spot everytime. The housemade ranch is a perfect dipper. The other day I tried the chorizo and scallops... oh my goodness gracious.. it was a lil spicy and creamy with the bean puree and the scallops were buttery, light and divine! 10 outta 10 would do again. Finally, got the goat cheesecake, gluten free ginger snap crust with poached pears. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I want this now and in every lifetime! The cheesecake was light, yet decadent, deep, creamy with a light, unassuming flavor. The crust was delicious and the poached pears added that perfect fruit component. I got Liam as my server both times, he was helpful, attentive, had good suggestions when asked questions and didn't interrupt at all, amazing! This is the spot for any occasion!

Delicious and romantic meal, with outstanding service. Highly recommend!…read more I loved the SHRIMP AL AJILLO tapas (small plate). It was so flavorful with creamy garlic butter sauce, paired with perfectly grilled crunchy slices of baguette. The SALMON dinner was equally delicious and perfectly seared for maximum crunch without drying out the fish. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the tomato cous-cous, but it complimented the salmon well without overpowering its flavor. The inside can accommodate many small tables of 4-6 people, but I didn't think a large party would be comfortable here. The outdoor patio is a nice option if the weather cooperates. I was too full to order dessert, but they served us a couple of complimentary tiny donuts drizzled with chocolate. A perfect finish to our fantastic meal!

Though I highly recommend making a reservation for the chef's counter to enjoy your dinner with a show. The bar area had great music, service, and served the full menu plus a bar menu with pintxos (Spanish inspired small bites) Food: Sangria: delicious! Well balanced Shrimp: The fresh herbs really complimented the rich sauce. One downside was that the baguette was drowning in olive oil, and I felt it took away from the sauce. Radiatore Pasta: rich, herbaceous pasta beautifully coated in the glossy sauce, toasted almonds added a nice textural element, pasta well cooked, generous, shareable portion, got a pop of lemon zest (wished there was more) Honey cake: moist, sweet, honey flavor comes through great. Hazelnut praline is crunchy, salty, nutty, great pair with the sweet, crisp, melt in your mouth honeycomb. Very sweet, but not one note. Super rich and luscious Churro: felt heavy/greasy, though the bitter chocolate sauce covered it/complimented it well. Can't complain too much as it is complementary!
