Wheels up! Dined here for an early dinner at 4 pm on a Monday with some colleagues. The online reservation system via Open Table was seamless. Needless to say, we were the first group in and killed some time beforehand in the main lobby space with some cocktails. Upon entry, there are many traveling relics to peek at via decor from old luggages to a map on the ground to airplane adventure advertisements. Additionally, there is an observation overlook where you can watch the airplanes land and takeoff. The entire space made me feel like I was about to hop on a plane and do some traveling. Holman's Table offers a unique experience as you can watch airplanes land and takeoff as mentioned above and can even buy tickets for helicopter rides which take place on Saturday's. For my first experience, we did a dine in only indoors. There is a small exterior patio outside for the warmer months which I hope to take advantage of next summer. The interior is very clean, the women's bathroom is spacious and the parking is free onsite. Our hostess was an absolute riot. She was cracking jokes left and right with us. When we eventually got seated in our dining area, we ordered the brussel sprout appetizer (very yum with a nice glaze, bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles) and purchased another round of cocktails. For the main entrees we had 2 of the 300 dollar burgers, 1 Caesar salad (came with a giant over easy egg) and 1 order of the bucatini pasta with added chicken. I am rating this a 4 because I feel like the bucatini pasta description didn't match the end product and definitely had a spice kick to it which was not outlined on the menu. Our server even told us that the Radiatori pasta had a spice kick, yet made no mention of it when we were going over the menu. In addition, our server was late to give us the bill as she was also playing bartender which showed us the restaurant was understaffed. Regardless, I'll be back. Why? I'm a Saint Paul fanatic, I love intimate hidden gems and I want to try the helicopter ride with my husband who previously served in the Air Force. I see a lot of potential with the space and the idea that is brewing is unique. The dinner menu was lovely so I'd like to try more items. Thank you!!

This is such a fun spot. The service is great and the food is both yummy and presented in such fun ways. This is a great place to bring people who are visiting from out of town.

Delicious food, great service, unique setting right by the airport, date-worthy decor and totally budget-friendly! Highly recommend! Loaded Tots (5/5) - tasty, crunchy, topped with a perfect egg. Delicious! Eggs Benedict (4/5) - Traditional Benedict was everything I expected executed perfectly.

Crab cake Benedict - The image shows a crab cake Benedict with a poached egg on top, drizzled with sauce. The dish includes garnishes such as herbs and vegetables, presented on a plate. The focus is on the food, highlighting the textures of the egg, sauce, and crab cake.

We had a lovely brunch at Holman's Table. They're definitely generous with the meats. Plenty of crab in the crab-cake Benedict with perfectly runny eggs. The meat lovers omelette was loaded and the Caesar salad had a big piece of ham and egg on top. Sweet tooth? Definitely get the mini donuts to share. We also got the mimosa board ... loved the fresh fruit and deep fried cheese cake that came with the drinks. Service was impeccable. A pretty little spot not too far from downtown St Paul with bright windows to see the little planes take off.

I went there for the first time with my friend to celebrate my birthday, and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was quick and attentive, which made everything feel smooth. The food was absolutely delicious! The only thing I noticed was that they had a time limit on how long you could stay at a table, probably because the space is limited and they want to accommodate everyone.

Experienced this restaurant for the first time recently. The ambience is lovely and the staff are all excellent. My friend wanted an NA beer and they were out so the bartender made her a special NA cocktail. He put in the extra effort and it was appreciated. Hubby and I shared the mushroom toast appetizer, which was delightful. Our friends had the crab cake app and said it was delicious. Our entrées included lobster risotto, which was good but a little too salty. The rib eye pork chop, which was a bit dry. The orecchiette with sausage and the tenderloin. All the meals were good, but not amazing unfortunately. And it would've been nice to have a bread basket. The cheesecake and French silk cake desserts were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant and plan on going back to try another entrée. Saying it again... The service was excellent all the way around.

I came here for the first time on my birthday this past year. I had no clue about this hidden gem because it is also located at the small airport. There's even a place next door to do a helicopter ride! We went for brunch on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. I started with the brûlée grapefruit with whipped cream berries. The combination of tart of sweet was perfect! I also tried the French toast- which is a graham cracker crust made into the cinnamon brioche toast. I loved the twist on this. They were so nice for my birthday and very accommodating! I want to go back for dinner and the helicopter ride. Fun fact- the terminal that the restaurant is located in was designed by Minnesota's first black licensed architect!

Great food and great service! The staff were awesome, super sweet and knowledgeable. Went around happy hour and was surprised at how empty it was!

We loved our experience at this place. It's kind of a hidden gem and the food is amazing. I've eaten here for mother's day brunch and we recently dined here for dinner. The shrimp appetizer with Thai chili sauce was one of their specials and was amazing and the maple glazed slab bacon was decent. My husband got the Hanger Steak entrée which was delicious (I'm ordering it next time) and I got their catch of the day scallop entrée which was tasty. The ambiance is nice and chic and it's neat that it's close to the St. Paul airport runway so we saw helicopters landing during our dinner. The service was good as well. I can see why this place is popular. It's not that big inside so reservations are recommended!

Used to love this place so much! Stopped in for brunch and was hard to get service starting at the host stand, smaller parties are asked to sit at the bar. Very sad when the rest of the bar is beautiful and you are in the janitors closet and smooshed into the wall. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning, which breaks my heart because this was a go-to!

The image shows a large window with black framing, revealing an airport runway outside. The sky is clear and blue, with distant airport buildings and structures visible on the horizon. The interior ceiling of the building is also visible at the top of the image.

Holman's Table is a super find for group dinners. We enjoyed the location, complete with views of the runway. Reservations were easy. Parking was convenient. Delicious food, great service. In combination, a wonderful experience. Would return and recommend to others.

Had a cool place! We sat outside, right by the runway, and you can watch planes, land and taxi to the door to let people off to come eat! The food was quite good, the service was good and quick. Friday night they were having prices on a bottle of wines. Plus it was restaurant week, with a $40 fixed price menu. What more could you ask for?

Great food and ambiance. Nice spot for a low-key dinner on a Friday night after landing at STP.

It was good, great ambience. The food was not memorable, which means it wasn't bad, but not necessarily great.

That's decent food. We went shopping across the road and I think within 15 minutes got a text our table was ready. So that was a pleasant surprise. The ambience was great. This is a clean classy place. It looked expensive but I was.... I mean my WIFE was all in and Happy Wife, Happy Life so yeah..... we're going for it. Service was well.... it was over the top. The wait staff and others all chipped in to watch the tables. Different people filled our water, brought us more bread, brought out food out when it was ready, picked up our dishes. It was a TEAM effort and it showed. Service was outstanding. My wife ordered the Salmon Sofia. Not sure what that is exactly and I don't care. It's salmon. To me, it's gonna taste bad no matter how great you prepare it but she said she loved it and would definitely get it again. I had the Italian Pasta if I remember correctly. Slightly spicy cajun pasta with sausage, chicken, shrimp, peppers and onions. It was amazing! There was quite a bit of it in the bowl. My wife says, "Wow, that's a lot. You'll have some to take home!" But I'm no quitter. If the food is good, i'm finishing it. And i'm happy to report that i did finish it. It was really good. I did not however get to try the mountain sized carrot cake. I really wanted some of that but I was too full. Oh, the bread. The bread was not warm and it was different than what i thought, but by the time i finished my 7th piece, I really liked it. All in all this was a very nice meal, perfect for a date night.

One of the staff members noticed and kindly offered to show me around. Halfway through my mini tour, he told me that he was the one who did all the Christmas décor--and that he's been collecting these pieces over the last 15 years. I was really grateful for that experience. Honestly, the entire visit--from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out--was top-notch. For food and drinks, I ordered a Moscow Mule, the Meatloaf Wellington, and the lobster with cauliflower cheese. It was my first time trying a Wellington, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The lobster, however, was a definite hit--I ate every bit of it! The drink was very good as well. For sure each items is on the pricier end but given the service your definitely getting your money worth. I also noticed they play live jazz music too, so I'm definitely interested in coming back for some good quality music.

Enjoyed a warm spring evening on the rooftop of the Lexington (recently named in the top three…read morerooftops of the Twin Cities in Msp Magazine!). We were warmly greeted by the host who sat us right away in a sunny spot. Our server was wonderful. I ordered a drink that ended up not being up to par, and he kindly offered to switch it to something else with grace and class, without making me feel badly for asking this. This goes to show the caliber of this long standing institution. Customers are treated well and are respected here. Our snacks from the menu were delicious and perfectly sized. The shrimp cocktail was made well. The lamb meatballs were flavorful and hearty. My Hemingway Daquiri was refreshing without being too liquor forward. Love all the Luxardo drinks on the menu! We will definitely be back!

Great drink menu and judging by the sign above the bar, they specialize in Martinis. They also make a good Old Fashioned. Been to Bennett's many times. They make a good steak, I love the fillet. Two sandwiches, tenderloin pieces of steak topped with caramelized onions and horseradish cream sauce. The steak is always tender and easy to bite through. They also offer a meatless smash burger as a vegetarian option. If you're ever in the area for a Wild game take a look at this place. They offer a free shuttle to the Grand Casino Arena.

No complaints there. The menu was quite varied - standard apps, burgers, steaks and even liver and onions. I have to wonder if maybe they should just stick to the basics though. I had the sirloin (vs. the pork chops at the recommendation of the server). It was a big hunk of sirloin. Could have been a bit more seasoned but it was generally ok. The baked potato was pretty hard/waxy (vs fluffy). The vegetable side was some kind of peas/succotash which looked awful, but was quite tasty. The problem is I literally was served only enough for 2 bites of it. The kitchen really should have been embarrassed sending it out. A couple table mates had the prime rib special. I'm not sure how 'done' they ordered it, but both came out looking gray and even fattier than most prime rib. Looked pretty awful. My husband had the New York Strip and said it was fine but that the "house au gratin" potatoes were nothing special. If I came back I'd probably stick to a burger (hand cut fries!) and have steak elsewhere.
