HORRIBLE experience!! This place advertises a wait list. When you get there, the hostess tells you they have one, but they don't use it. What does that mean?! The horrible part of this meal was the RUDE owner's behavior! She argued with me about the blue cheese dressing I had requested, saying that I already had it. (I had a dijonnaise sauce that was green.). She kept insisting I already had it. I finally said "forget it" and yet she persisted. Then, to top it all off, she let looked over to my nephew, as if he would make me behave. The food was lousy, too! Don't go there! I was in Niagara this past week visiting some friends and went to Turtle Jacks, not once but twice! Both times I had the poutine and Caesar salad and both times they didn't disappoint. My friend had the chicken fettuccine one time and the fish and chips the second time, she said both were really good! Would defiantly go back again. read more

If you go for breakfast, the radisson offers you $1 off their traditional breakfast of eggs, toast, sausages from the original $14.99 price if you're staying at the hotel. There's also about 6 other options to pick from. I got the Weekend Break Croissant and my boyfriend settled for the traditional. We definitely enjoyed our breakfast. Everything tasted great and cooked perfectly. What we did not enjoy was the lack of professionalism when it comes to who serves what table. Every time the host sat a family down, the servers literally talk amoungst themselves to see who the table belongs to There is no grid of coordination in terms of who serves what area of the restaurant and because of that, when the restaurant started to get buy at 10, a lot of people ended up having to wait for almost 20 minutes before a server greets them. We asked for more hot water for our tea and the server forgot and after 10 minutes we asked another server and she spoke quiet loudly to our server that our table need more hot water. Do yourself a favor and eat here! Refreshing, healthy, and delicious options in a spacious dining room with attentive staff. We loved the quinoa and arugula salad, and fish tacos. This restaurant is full blown racist against Asians. The minute 3 of us ladies walked in, the hostess did not greet us or offer any friendly welcome, but did to the other non-asian guests beside us. She then glanced at us and walked off, leaving us to stand there and wait for another hostess. The next one had us follow her past tons of spacious empty tables and booths to the smallest two-person booth at the back of the restaurant. The 3 of us proceed to confusedly sit down while the hostess seems to be staring at our faces for some reaction. As this experience is never new to us, we began to realize the blatant and unwarranted disrespect. We went to the turtle jacks on Stoney creek and the service and food is terrible compared to Niagara Falls location. The only downside is it's a little bit more expensive but well worth it imo. We came in Monday evening and we had Andrea last time and had her again & was not disappointed. Impeccable service, and complements to the chef. The blackened baha with lobster mash potatoes are so tasty and the sticky toffee pudding is the best dessert out there. We are only coming to this location from now on. read more

This is very much a place to get bar food, don't expect a fancy meal. They have lots of tvs to watch sports, an extensive bar and great wings (and great sauces to put on them). The Mac and cheese was a bit dry, and the chicken sandwich was nothing extraordinary. Service was ok, friendly, even asked about allergies-but didn't come to refill our drinks at all. We came to Turtle Jacks on the first night of our honeymoon. In great spirits and starved. Keeping in mind its COVID, we went mid week and late at night (8-9pm)... the server did his job but militantly and without joy. The space was nice but hidden in a hotel parking lot. It was quite cold with the AC pumping. The menu looked very good and we quickly ordered our mains and a drink. I got the basa fish and my husband ordered the Bison meatloaf. The meatloaf was smothered in gravy and butter, totally swimming in it. The basa was good but extremely salty. Overall, food was okay, service poor. Didn't get apps or dessert. Went on a Saturday night at 10pm. Got a table no problem as it wasn't so busy. Food was pretty good! We got the turkey club with salad and also the jalepeno burger.... Damn good. Good portions and we finished it all! The only caveat was getting the turtle brownie dessert.... Yea don't do it. Immediately after eating half of it, our stomaches hurt for the rest of the night. Food was good. Service was great. There was a concert in the area the night we went so there was no parking by the restaurant. The parking attendants told us where to park a few blocks away and gave us a free parking pass so that we didn't have to pay the crazy concert parking fees. read more

While the servers here are very nice and certainly trying, the food was just absolutely awful. I know Niagara Falls is a food desert, but looking on yelp, this place seem to get some fairly good reviews. The food was just awful. My eggs were cold, the potatoes tasted bitter and greasy and were inedible. No one liked their meal. We ended up leaving hungry I'm going to eat someplace else. Avoid at all costs. read more

Solely based on service (not food), this was a terrible experience. First day come in and ask for takeout, hostess says sure of course we can do takeout just have to order at the bar. Get sent to the bar and then after waiting 5 minutes was told by bartender they weren't doing takeout currently (mostly empty restaurant at the time). Next day try again for takeout, hostess says we aren't currently doing takeout but should be in 30 minutes. Call back again in 30 minutes, no we aren't at this time but try back later. Asked about dining there, and the hostess says we don't take reservations and does not give an answer about waitlist or wait times. Truly abysmal experience getting strung along. Perhaps abolish the takeout option, since can't manage that when a not that busy kitchen can't handle it. read more

I am highly impressed with the food and beer that my friend and I had at Turtle Jack's!! The convenience of the location being right across from our hotel was perfect and the quality of the meat was superb. The server, Liz is absolutely fantastic and so attentive. The chicken wings that were organic and grilled were probably the best I've ever had in my entire life. I chose the honey garlic sauce and it was absolutely phenomenal. We also shared poutine and it was everything I had hoped for and it really is glorified disco fries but so much better. They're worth every single calorie!! My wife and I had ate here after crossing into Canada to see Niagara Falls. First thing was accessible free parking. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu . Our meals were great despite the parents who brought in 6-8 children 19-12 years old who kept running back and forth past our and others table numerous times. The staff tried to slow them down but not once did the adults responsible for the children show up or try to control the inappropriate behaviors. Again everything else was great. read more

Came here with a group of friends while visiting the Niagara Region. Most food in this area is quite expensive, but we found this restaurant to have reasonable prices (for Niagara) for decent food. The interior was large and roomy with plenty of seating, and the service was friendly and quick. I ordered a bison meatloaf which was delicious and had bacon, demi-glace, onion straws, vegetables, and Yukon mashed potatoes. I do not remember what my friends ordered but I do remember them telling me the food they ordered was also quite tasty. We had a wonderful experience at Turtle Jack's. starting off with the nice young man who took us to our table and changed the channel on the television so we could watch the sporting event of our choice. We did a pick up order. The food was okay. The beer battered fish "fish n chips" was not edible. We ordered two and the fish wasn't adhering to the better well. It was very wet inside and hard on the outside. The fish tasted like frozen fish. Very dry and no flavors. My family members got wings and they said they were okay. I was really expecting more. Excellent service and great food. We got hooked on some great chicken roll appetizers. The burgers were delicious (French Onion Burger and Hell of a Burger) they use excellent meat that includes brisket. Drinks and happy hour specials were great. They have wines from the local wineries which was nice because we had just returned from our wine tour. I enjoyed seeing that managers consistently passed by to see how we were doing. read more

Finally a good restaurant in Niagara Falls that is not a chain! They have a pretty extensive menu and it's fair in price especially for the location. It took over a Tony Romas and inside of the Marriot Hotel. I ordered their Burger with a side of arugula quinoa salad. The burger was very good. The salad wasn't so good which is why this restaurant is not 5 stars. I think the salad was made the day before because the arugula was soggy and the entire salad was over drenched with dressing. It looked like a seaweed salad. I should have sent it back but I am not that type of customer. However you must try their butter tart! Three Cheese Dip comes with choice of tortilla chips, naan, or half-half. We did the combination, but thought the tortillas chips were better. The naan tasted more like warmed pita bread. Good Caesar salad, as were the burgers. Their "Hell-of-a-Burger," is definitely the star, and was really good. The Chicken Alfredo Pasta was more on the dry side, and the garlic toast that came with it, was ok, nothing special. Good place overall, and would recommend. read more

Our server was obviously doing her best and the situation seemed to be a fluke. Complimentary parking just outside the restaurant is a definite plus since many eateries in the area don't offer this.
