Kelsey's is a must when you head over to Niagara Falls (Canadian Side). The service was fantastic. The atmosphere is great. And the food was delicious. We were greatly kindly when we first made our way into the restaurant. Our server took our drink orders right away. And within minutes we were assisted with our food order. We had the 1978 Burger, BBQ Bacon Burger, 10 Chicken Wings Plate, and a Chicken Caesar Wrap. Everything was delicious. Refills were brought to us in a timely manner. All staff were polite and helpful. Kelsey's is great for family and friends. They have an excellent bar area, along with plenty of TVs to catch the current sporting event. We all work hard for our money, so I feel it's important to share an honest review about value. I ordered the $25 Steak & Swiss sandwich and requested mashed potatoes with gravy. Looking at my receipt, the order was rung in incorrectly as fries. That single mistake meant my plate was taken back while my kids ate, and when it returned, the gravy was forgotten, requiring yet another trip for a side dish. There appeared to be about half a cup of mashed potatoes, and the sandwich was mostly fried onions with literally about two small pieces of beef inside. For Clifton Hill prices, the quality, portion size, and attention to detail just aren't there. I get this place one star. They know better so they should do better. Thanks Joel, but this generic response feels like a template rather than actual accountability. I hope management actually looks into the kitchen portioning and kitchen mistakes mentioned above so future families have a better experience. read more

Pretty good. Not the best but for a tourist area it wasn't overly expensive or bad for the price. We sat at the bar and service was good. We shard the spinach dip and bbq chicken flatbread. They both were different. The spinach dip didn't seem to have spinach? Honestly could have been some different kind of dip for all I know. It was giving like a hot crab dip with no crab. It seemed very cream cheese forward. Not a lot much else flavor wise. Came with a large portion of pita chips though and I didn't hate it but my mom didn't care for it. I had the tenderloin and blue cheese wedge. The dressing for the salad seemed to be a drizzle on the plate vs on the salad itself I don't care for that. The servers were very nice and the service was very quick, but I wasn't that fond of the food. The mac and cheese was unfortunately quite bland and I didn't really bother to do much besides pick at it. It also gave us a nice little view of Clifton Hill as we ate, so that was cute. read more

Dined in last night around 8pm. We were seated immediately, party of 7 on the outside patio. It was hot but thankfully the sun went down and it got comfortable. They have a nice menu with a variety of choices. I was past the point of hungry...so hungry no idea what I wanted to eat. Lol My son had the sirloin steak diner with shrimp on top and he really enjoyed it (except the baked potato was burnt and hard but the waitress removed it from the bill). I tried the Thai shrimp bowl over rice and enjoyed it. Not the best Thai food but decent especially considering this isn't their speciality. I also had the ocean breeze Pina colada which I loved! 10/10 I didn't catch our servers name but she was friendly and efficient. My only complaint was we waited a long time for our food! Let me start with bad. It took way too long for our food to come based on the amount of people in this place at the time. Ok now the good, the food was good. Mushroom melter burger was good. I recommend. Fish and chips were a hit but I will say there was only one piece of fish and the fries were big steak fries. It tasted good just be mindful if you are a big eater. I had sweet potato fries which are a personal favorite any time I eat out. These were mid. One daughter had the Alfredo pasta. She said its mid. It had shrimp in it. It was really busy night. The servers tried to be attentive as possible and did a great job. The establishment itself was okay in regard to cleanliness. There were a lot of tables that needed to be cleared and cleaned from the party before. The drinks came out pretty good! My burger was pretty good although I couldn't order it medium due to Canada's law, so I had to have it well done, nonetheless it was a pretty good burger and so were the loaded fries. I enjoyed my dining experience at Kelsey's. After the Niagara Falls tour, we walked up the steep hill in hopes of finding a restaurant to dine at for lunch. There very well may have been other restaurants around, but we were so beat after that hill Kelsey's it was. It wasn't very crowded yet and we opted for a seat outdoors. July 7/2023: Lunch in Niagara falls W Al, Schnitzel & Layla. This was so much a mediocre experience. We sat on the patio. It was noisy & dirty. There was trash & napkins blowing all over the place. The food was even less then mediocre! The salad was nice but the alleged "House Made Chicken Tenders ($20.97) we clearly a refry. They were more like "Chicken Toughs" then tenders! To top it off they were not nearly as hot as they should have been! And because I changed the fries to a salad I was charged an extra $3.99!! This is outrageous behaviour by some restaurants! The food took a while longer then it should have to come out. The highlight of the meal was the server (Niv D.) a very nice young fella that got the entire order right the first time around. Good was mediocre at best. I had the Alfredo bowl with chicken, my husband had Thai curry bowl and my daughter had Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese wasn't cheese; it was a watered down Alfredo, she wouldn't eat it. My Alfredo was also very watered, not much flavor, but different from my daughters. The chicken was from a can or something, not good. My husband enjoyed his food but not until the end when he could actually mix the sauce that was all at the bottom. Had dinner there, first night of our arrival to Niagara Falls. Three in our party: Beet salad was fine, so was the Fish n chips. I ordered the 1/2 order of ribs and a baked potato. The Butter was on the side and when i cut it up to spread on the potato I realized the potato was hardly warm and the ribs were room temperature. We were overwhelmed by the choices and ended up at this American burger spot. They have a nice patio area with pop music playing.
