Had a wonderful night with server James! He was attentive, quickly met all our requests and did it with a smile! We had the whipped feta with pita appetizer! It was so yummy! Naan was very hot and perfectly salty. Cheese has pine nuts and lemon juice, perfect! I had the Fettucine Alfredo with chicken. The sauce was creamy and the pasta was al dente. I ordered the garlic bread which was crunchy and had the perfect amount of butter and garlic. Would definitely return!

This place has a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Very roomy and a friendly atmosphere. Bratt was our bartender and made some great drinks. He was very personable and professional.

The calamari was rubbery, and nothing on this plate was fried crispy. Afterward, I just ordered a salad. Everything was disappointing, and I didn't even want to take a picture. How this place has 4 stars really upset me because I choose my restaurants based on the stars when I'm out of town. This was a real waste of my time. On the positive side, you get free parking while you dine. The service was friendly and kind.

This place has a great vibe. We went on vacation and basically every where we went was busy and crowded. We caught a lucky break and was able to be seated quickly at a bar table. The server was friendly and very likeable. We did wait a little bit for our food but that was to be expected for a busy night. I ordered the burger on a GF bun and it was a really good burger. Lots of flavor and cooked perfect. My significant other got the fish. I cant remember the type. The salad was delicious and very filling and the fish was really good too. Then for dessert we shared a GF Turtle Cheesecake. It was pretty rich but really good. My son got the kids grilled cheese fingers and fries and since it was his birthday he got a free brownie! They also had really good seltzers at the bar in draft. It was Cottage Springs Rasberry Lemonade and I HIGHLY recommend it!

Turtle Jack's was great. This was our first restaurant stop as we visited Niagara Falls on spring break for the kids. The service was phenomenal, and the food was above my expectations. I opted for poutine and it was so great. My family also enjoyed their meals as well. There didn't seem to be many weight staff working however we didn't have too long of a wait while being serviced in the restaurant. The fried pickles, calamari, and Alfredo were excellent. Can't wait to visit this place again. Next time we are in Niagara

First stop on our Niagara Falls trip! Just a walks away from our hotel - free parking for dining guests (can be validated at hotel front desk after dining w proof of receipt) Service (4/5) Food (3/5) - Fried pickles 2/5 I don't care for pickle wedges, we like pickle coins - fried calamari 4/5 loved the mixed fried veggies! The fried bell pepper was tasty! Was not served with marinara which we liked - classic burger 4/5 add cheese +$2 my sister said it was juicy - chicken fettuccine Alfredo 3/5 we prefer a super creamy saucy pasta - Kung pao 2/5 - poke 2/5 - bison burger 3/5 - blackened chicken on naan 4/5 goat cheese was good! Service was great! Big restaurant with lots of seating and bar seating.

Looked for a decent place to eat at the tourist trap that is Niagara Falls and saw this positively rated spot on yelp, so my friends and I decided to give it a shot and we were pretty pleased. Matt, our server was probably the best part of our experience. He was super friendly and efficient and seemed to really like his job. The restaurant itself is a pretty good spot to watch a game and looks pretty clean and modern, which is surprising, judging by the hotel it's situated in. The food, is what I assume one really cares about and it was good, not great. We ordered a pitcher of sangria for the table and the sangria was not only super refreshing but beautifully displayed with fresh and dried fruits. The alcohol was actually my favorite part of the meal. I ordered a french dip, it was fine. Good but not great and served with fries that were decent enough. My buddy ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was all white meat that tasted like it was microwaveable. So glad I didn't order that but I of course would avoid ordering Mexican or Mexican adjacent food at a restaurant like this.

We been here over 3 times when visiting Niagara Falls, staff were so friendly so nice. The restaurant was clean and with a ton of seating. We ordered fried calamari with a marie rose sauce, it was tangy and very delicious. We also got the chicken quesadilla which came with pico de gallo and salsa & sour cream, it was the perfect crispness and with the dips it was perfect. We tired the gyoza dumplings that came with a ginger garlic soy sauce. Sweet and tangy. For entrees, we got the chicken fingers with a plum sauce and fries and chicken Alfredo. They have great desserts options. We have tried the buttered tart, the brownie. Everything was great! Everything came out fast and everything was delicious. One of our favorite spots in the area. Would definitely recommend. Will definitely be back if we are visiting again.

Wow. Great spot right next to the Falls and hotels. Solid bar type food and absolutely hands down the best service and staff anyone could ask for. Highly recommend

Blood orange margarita and raspberry mojito are amazing. Reasonably priced as well! Everything at the falls is crazy expensive, feels like a great deal!

Came into Turtle Jack's when visiting Niagara. I will say one of the main reasons we came here is you could park at the hotel from free if you were eating at Turtle Jack's and parking seemed like a nightmare so this was extremely convenient. Once seated we checked out the menu and they had a little bit of everything as well as your typical bar food. I spotted one of my favorites a classic French Dip so that what I went with. For my side I went with Onion Rings for an up charge. It was also an extra $3 for cheese you of gotta have cheese with a French Dip right? Once our food came out everything looked pretty good. After getting into my French Dip I have to say it was just OK. It came on a baguette but it was kinda stale and dry. It just didn't have the crisp crunch you want from a fresh baguette. The meat inside was a little tough at points too but will say the Au Jus for sure saved it. The onion rings were also pretty good. For the most part everyone agree their food was just OK. I'm not sure I would come again but if you're looking for a place with a lot of options and everyone in your party is looking for something different Turtle Jack's might just be the place for you.

The brownie sundae looked so delicious we forgot to take a picture before we ate it.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! We visited to celebrate our birthdays, and had a great experience. The food was phenomenal--both the ribs and the burgers were cooked to perfection and had great flavor. We also tried the brownie sundae for dessert, and it was so moist and had delicious toffee bits and rich ice cream with it. Our server, Claudia, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, and went above and beyond to make our birthdays feel truly special. She added a lot to make it a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming (the perfect spot to get out of the cold!) I can't recommend Turtle Jack's enough--if you're looking for amazing food, exceptional service, and a great vibe, this is the place to be!

The Loose Moose looked like a great place to grab dinner, drinks and watch the hockey game. We were so right! After ordering drinks, Megan (aka 330M) came over to get our food order and she was high energy and we could tell we were going to have fun. She took our orders and got our drinks. Each time she came back we had some laughs. My wife's Mexican bowl came back minus the requested chicken. Megan took care of this in no time and comp'd it for the mistake. WOW - you don't see that kind of service any more. Our food (mine was a chicken avocado club) was hot and so good. We opt'd for the sweet potato fries and Megan said it was a good choice. She was so right - they were excellent. Megan and her partners kept our drinks filled and made sure everything was great. The bar was packed with sports fans and folks coming in out of the cold but we never felt crowded. You could tell this is a popular bar with the locals - always a good sign. Thanks to Megan and the Staff, we had a fun time and awesome meal. If we weren't heading home tomorrow, we would definitely go back again. We highly recommend the Loose Moose for its great food, drinks and Staff. Cheers, L&J Henderson NV USA

Decades ago, I hung out here with other professionals because the patio was awesome and the food…read moreand drink were reliably good. I went again last week. To me, the Madison seems like a fraternity/warehouse party house and not the interesting multi-level mansion that it used to be. To get into the building we had to pass through a passage or hallway (partly outdoors) in which a person--who seemed like a waitress--was smoking. When we left the bar, several people were smoking there and we had to pass through a fug in order to exit. As soon as I sat down on the patio, I smelled cigarettes. The smell persisted; when we changed seats to a different area of the patio, I noticed a young woman smoking in her seat. I finally told the waiter it was illegal and unpleasant and he agreed to do something. She was smoking so blatantly; I haven't seen that in years. Why I had to mention it, I don't know. My friends invited us to the Madison because their website advertised a deal on food and drink on the first Thursday of the month, and my friends are thrifty. When I arrived, some of the group were angry because they had been denied the deal although it was Thursday June 4. I spoke to the manager and showed her the offer on the Madison website. After a lengthy wait--she said she had to speak to someone higher up first--we were allowed the deal. The two most hangry people of the group left for another restaurant before we learned that the deal would be honoured. We proceeded to order some fine Amsterdam draft and snacks as per the deal. The beer, fish & chips, and quesadillas were all very good. However, because of the kerfuffle over the discount, the beer took at least 20 minutes to arrive AFTER they agreed to honour the deal: the Tap on the patio wasn't working. The food came when we were about half-done our pints; at this point, we were at least 45 minutes in the bar (which was not very busy). The music was blaring loud; we had to yell at each other to communicate. So I led the group over to another area of the patio without telling the waiter (he had been hard to find already, but I was fed up with the yelling and sitting at a picnic table, so we just moved). I guess that offended him because he gave me a heck of a glare; I gave him the same look back because I don't need that on a night out. A few minutes after moving, our group had a good laugh because it seemed that the music had been turned up louder in the new area; we had to talk very loudly to be heard over a group of students beside us and the music. We had repeatedly told the waiter that it was too loud and surprise!, the volume goes up! This may have made sense when I was young--hollering HOW ARE YOU at my friends in bars. The waiter seemed moody, so a friendly gal in our group asked him if he didn't like us, and another of our group asked for the waiter's name and introduced himself. The waiter then seemed to realize that we weren't just complaining irritants. Although I noticed an older man who appeared to be an academic and an affluent boomer couple from the neighbourhood, this seems to be a party place, like a warehouse bar. Loud, long waits for the beer, moody staff and false advertising. If I want to get wasted and blow $10 per draft beer, I'll be back.

So when I found myself on a recent Tuesday afternoon, I figured I'd better finally stop in. I showed up around 4:30 and the bar was already pretty packed, but luckily for me a couple of people were just leaving and freeing up a spot at the end. Score! I wound up taking advantage of the Happy Hour and grabbing a pint of a very tasty lager. I figured I should probably also have a bite, so I decided to go with the very affordable Taco ("cabbage, chipotle aioli, cilantro, onion, lime") and I got the Marinated Steak option. It's a decent taco. The chipotle aioli is quite tasty and zesty, and the other components, including a very fresh-tasting tortilla, are just as good. The meat was a little questionable, however, as it had a vaguely unpleasant flavor I couldn't quite put my finger on. Still, it was a cheap snack that I ate quite quickly. I can definitely see why the Wheat Sheaf Tavern has been around so long. The vibe was very welcoming and the bartender was super nice. I'll definitely return.
