I had lunch today at TKO's The Sports Pub. I ordered a Breaded Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich. It was a big sandwich and I'm glad I didn't get a side order of fries, soup or salad (about an extra $2.50). The bun was warm and soft and toasted a bit on the inside. The chicken was real chicken breast (not processed chicken). It was a delicious messy sandwich and I'd get it again. The lunch price was about $8 Leslie was my server. She was friendly and chatty.

Real surprise on that stretch of road. The place is tiny, and let's face it, a bit on the dated side, but it's clean, the taps run cold, and the food is remarkable. Had the BLT and side greek salad. The BLT was done properly so that it stayed crisp until the end and lots of bacon, and the "side" salad was a full large serving heaped over half the plate. Everything was fresh, especially the tomatoes, which as a single key ingredient will make or break either the sandwich or the salad. If you are looking for a great lunch and cold beer, with friendly service and that hardcore dated diner feel (that's a good thing LOL), then the TKO needs to be on your list to visit at Coxwell and Danforth.

Management changed and now it's a bunch of amateurs at the bar and white ladies talking really loud.

The tables were clean, and there were lively pool matches happening all around. We started off with lunch. I had a salad and got some extra chicken and wow... some of the most tender, flavourful chicken breast I've ever had dining outside. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. My teammates also seemed happy with their food. There were also vegetarian options available. Then we played pool. Everything was set up neatly, and easy to access. The poolhall is dimly lit and has a cozy vibe. It's easy to get into your game, even though there are matches happening all around you.

(Low lighting) We went for happy hour (4-6pm on a Friday) and had $5 bar rails, $7 chicken bites, and full price pretzels $9. We played an hour of pool on the 9ft tables. They also have 7ft tables for rent. The chicken bites were really good in a Nashville sauce (a bit spicy). The pretzels were served hot with a honey mustard sauce. Both were great and I would definitely eat again. Overall the food this time was much better and the drinks weren't too watered down (ask for less ice). Positive experience!

Pedal Captain Andrew and safety guide Alex really took care of us and Andrew was an amazing hype man! We had a blast! The inital fee is just for the transportation and awesome entertainment going around the city. But being a part of the Pedal Party you get great discounts at the bars you stop at, including the Blue Moon that you start at. They ask that you arrive 30mins early but if you complete your waiver online you can get there around 5-10mins ahead. But come early if you're keen on having a few pints at Blue Moon with the discounted rate before your Pedal and chat with your new crew. You won't be going back to your starting point but you'll end up a bar where you can take your time and enjoy good company. This was a great way to meet new people and check out bars I'd normally wouldn't step into unless I happened to be in the area Googling. I highly recommend this for any occasion! Pedal safe, party hard! TIP: Helmet is optional but you'll HAVE to wear it the whole time if you ask for one. Bring some cash to tip the crew! But you can also scan a QR code to pay them online.
