I think most people go to this restaurant for the view, because the view of the falls is absolutely gorgeous. We got a table high up overlooking the falls, and that was absolutely spectacular. This restaurant is on the pricier side, but I think the ambiance and the view of the falls is absolutely worth it. They have very limited vegan options, which is sad because that kind of excludes vegans from enjoying this place. We did find a couple of options, and they were tasty. We enjoyed eating them. The service was fantastic. The overall experience was very nice. The only thing I hope they could add more vegan options, and that would be really cool.
My family and I came into town to see the grand Niagara Falls and got to stop by the restaurant for a nice dinner with an AMAZING view. We got seated at the end of the restaurant closest to the falls. We arrived around 6pm with no wait to get seated and it got busy around 7pm. Our server was wonderful and was definitely very well versed in the menu and speciality dishes. My favorite was the maple pecan cheesecake. It was so soft and had such a nice crust. We got the Cowboy Ribeye medium done, but to be honest, it looked more rare. This steak wasn't the best and didn't fully satisfy my taste preference, but flavor was good. Green Goddess Orecchiette Pasta was my favorite entree with the perfect seasoning and flavor to the sauce. The mushroom, roasted tomato and cheese were all such great additions to the dish too. But the pasta shells were cooked slightly too soft for my liking.
We were visiting Niagara Falls for the first time and saw this place on our tour of the Falls. Decided to see if we could walk in and yes they were able to accommodate us. I'm sure it helps to make a reservation for a table close to the window, the views are gorgeous. I ordered the Table Rock Smoked Cheddar Burger and my husband had the Spanish Lamb Sandwich. Mine was dry and flavorless, his was also dry and small amount of shredded meat piled with arugula on a toasted baguette. We were not impressed with our lunch selections however we did enjoy a flight of white wine. All Canadian wines and that made our lunch so much better. Our waitperson was very helpful and attentive. I recommend trying a flight with an appetizer. The views are very nice. We plan on returning for dinner......review coming soon.
Hands down, best view while eating delicious food. Made reservations for 3 people. I asked the hostess to be seated by the window so we can see the falls while dining. Almost all of the tables have a falls view. The food was awesome. We ordered the fixed 3 course meal and so glad we did. We started with brussel sprouts and super salad. We were in heaven. 2nd course was the pasta, short ribs and upgraded to pork chops. We were all happy with our choices. The only critic would be my broccolini. It looked overcooked. Desserts were to die for. Went for the cheesecake and the strawberry rhubarb. Can't go wrong with any of the dessert choices. I highly recommend this place. Took the incline tram to go there as we didn't want to deal with parking. Taxis and wego busses are also great options.
Open Table automatically bumped us 12 days in the future, didn't love that after a 20 minute walk, but host stand handled it immediately. Seafood chowder was excellent as well as the poutine and lamb sandwich. The view was perfect and our server was outstanding. Not at all what I expected from such a touristy location.
Lovely restaurant right by the Horseshoe Falls! Views can't be beated and the food was delicious too. We went for the pre-fixe three course meals and enjoyed all our dishes. Particularly, the Crab Cakes, Brussel Sprouts, Short Ribs, and Cauliflower Steak. Great preparations of high quality ingredients. Portions were good as well, we could barely finished the desserts which were also very delicious. A great fancy dinner in Niagara Falls!
I think the view is great but if your hotel already has a view, order some take out and eat there instead. The food is pretty mediocre and expensive. Location location location right? Service was ok. Staff was super nice but incredibly slow service. The wait to be seated wasn't bad. I won't be back.
After going on the Journey Behind the Walls tour, we were ready for a nice, sit-down meal and the Table Rock Restaurant was the perfect establishment to choose. Though there was a line outside the restaurant, it moved quickly and we were seated immediately at a table with a wonderful view of the Falls. Our server was attentive. We started out with warm bread, which was served with a delicious cranberry butter. My husband ordered pasta with chicken; I had the super food salad with salmon and sweet potato fries. I enjoyed the salad; my husband said that his meal was a bit bland, though it looked mouthwatering! :o) Loved the overall ambiance; enjoyable experience.
I actually loved this place! There are a lot of restaurants in the area but almost all of the fancy places had bad reviews so we chose this place to celebrate my friend's birthday. The service was excellent and the food was really good. Great views of the falls and the $79 dinner menu was great value!
Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience at Table Rock House, thanks in large part to the incredible atmosphere and outstanding staff. Everyone we interacted with was amazing, friendly, polite, and genuinely attentive. The service made us feel welcome from start to finish and was a big part of what made the evening so enjoyable. The view overlooking Niagara Falls is absolutely spectacular and alone makes this restaurant worth visiting. It's hard to beat enjoying a meal with scenery like that. The bread basket was one of the biggest surprises of the night. It was incredibly fresh, warm, and delicious, and easily one of the best parts of the meal. My wife ordered the beef short rib, and it was absolutely outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, it was easily the best entrée we had. Even my daughter's chicken fingers were excellent. The Maple Pecan Cheesecake was another standout. It was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It was honestly one of the best cheesecakes I've had in a long time and the perfect way to end the evening. The only disappointment was my strip steak. For the price, I expected much better. It was tougher than it should have been and lacked the seasoning needed to really bring out the flavor. The mashed potatoes also missed the mark. They were wonderfully fluffy, but unfortunately very dry and in need of more butter, seasoning, or something to give them more flavor. Despite those shortcomings, the breathtaking view, exceptional service, outstanding beef short rib, delicious chicken fingers, amazing bread basket, and unforgettable Maple Pecan Cheesecake made the experience worthwhile. If I ever return, it'll be for the view and the bread, or the view and that incredible Maple Pecan Cheesecake. The staff would certainly be another reason we'd be happy to come back.
We got very lucky with almost no wait, we got in and got a window side table. The magnificent sight of the Horseshoe Fall right next to our table. The food also was very good. We got an appetizer Jumbo Shrimp with Curry Sauce, very good, very large and fresh shrimp. For lunch we got the Smoke Cheddar Burger and Eggplant Parmesan Panini, both with sweet potato fries ($2 extra for the switch). Both were delicious. The service was very hood and prompt. Love the place!
Came on a Thursday for lunch and we're sat promptly outside. We absolutely loved the view. Nick was our server and he was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. My friend and I got tasty ciders and wine along with the wagyu sliders and the halloumi flatbread. The flatbread was tasty and the sliders were overall okay. Overall great experience!
Stopped by Table Rock House Restaurant for dinner with high expectations based on Yelp reviews. The hostess was very nice and was able to seat us without a reservation. The restaurant was pretty full, but that's to be expected with the views. Parking is difficult - especially when it's cold with high wind. You're going to be walking. On to the food. The place has a limited menu. Normally this means a place is locked in on things they do well. I tried several meals that were ordered. To me, the food reminded me cruise ship cuisine. Things made in large quantity then quickly pushed out to keep the line moving. I didn't like the quality. If you want a great view of the falls, this is your place. Otherwise, my favorite item was the burrata.

Excellent experience from start to finish - from the atmosphere (incredible view of the falls!), to the service, to the food. We paid the extra surcharge to lock in a table right at the window, and have to say it is worth it if you can swing it. We checked out some of the tables slightly further back, and while still great, not nearly as magical. Food was high level - and focused on local Ontario food and drink. I had a flight of local whiskeys, which were all tasty. Everything we had was great - the steaks were perfectly cooked. The seafood soup special was awesome (loaded with mussels, clams, salmon and creamy but not too creamy). The panzanella salad was also a top notch version as well with extremely fresh ingredients. Overall though, even including the kids, the favorite was the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Slight maple flavor, good miso flavor, perflectly crispy and some extra sweetness pops from pomegranates. That's the one I'll be thinking about! read more

We ate lunch here on a drizzly spring day. Asked the host for the best table in the restaurant and they accommodated us with no fuss, just a smile. I wasn't expecting much of the food, as the main attraction was the view. We were pleasantly surprised by the creative and varied lunch menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and innovative items. I had a falafel bowl with ratatouille, pickled radish, tahini, and saffron rice and my wife had a kale, beet, and oven roasted tomato salad. Both were outstanding. Service was excellent and the view speaks for itself. This is a very nice restaurant that you could easily dismiss as a tourist trap because of its location. Highly recommended. read more
While walking out of the restaurant, all I could think about is the next time I'd be able to come back. My goodness the food here was outstanding!! You come here for the views , but make sure to reserve a window seat ahead of time. The view is great and enjoyable to share a meal there. Prices are fair for a tourist location. On to the food. We ordered a bread bowl to start , which was nice with the truffle butter for about $9. Good variety of breads and the butter was nice. For my main I had a chicken supreme. (Seasoned chicken over a mash potato). Good was good here, I did have a hair in my food which happens so I'm not knocking them, told the server and it was corrected immediately (so no big deal). Servers were quite attentive and friendly. They made suggestions and were checking on us regularly. Definitely worth checking out if you out admiring the false and want to pop in for a nice meal with a gorgeous view. read more
I booked a reservation at the Table Rock House Restaurant because it is the closest you can dine to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. They specialize in a locally sourced and internationally inspired menu with the breathtaking Niagara Falls as your backdrop. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the price point, but have to say I was not impressed with my experience. The view was amazing but the food was mediocre for me and there were a lot of upcharges. I started my meal with the Table Rock peach cocktail with Vodka, Konzelmann Estates Peach Wine peach purée, soda water. In my opinion there was not much flavor to this cocktail and it was a bit watery with all the ice. I ordered the roasted cauliflower wedge with maple harissa glaze, fingerling potatoes, roasted peppers, asparagus, artichokes, olives, pine nuts, pickled red cabbage. The sauce has some good flavors to it but I was not impressed with the cooking technique of the cauliflower. It was like it had just been boiled in water and did not have any crunch or texture to it. It really needed some sear and some texture or crunch but was just like a slice of blanched vegetable. For the $39 price point, I definitely expected more. Also, I asked to substitute the fingerling potatoes with Brussels sprouts and was charged a $5 upcharge. The prep technique of the cauliflower needed more flavor so they brought me some chimichuri sauce and there was another $2 upcharge for that to just try and flavor my dish so it was enjoyable. This really was a disappointing experience. We also ordered the Table Rock House Salad with local kale, mixed greens, strawberries, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, watermelon radish, orange citrus dressing and there was an upcharge to add chicken. My mom ended up giving me some of her chicken since I was not impressed with the taste and texture of my cauliflower. Also ordered the Miso glazed rainbow trout with corn purée, roasted summer squash, braised rainbow carrots. The service was friendly and efficient. For a nearly $300 dining experience, I didn't expect to be nickeled and dimed for customization or substitutions and I expected the preparations techniques and flavors to be exceptional. In my opinion, we were just paying for the view. read more

Very impressed with dinner here. We were part of a tour group and had a pre-set reservation, menu, and table waiting for us. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. She didn't come often but, it was enough. We were able to choose an appetizer, entree and dessert from a pre-selection menu and the selections were wonderful. All portions were gigantic and very generous. You are not going to leave hungry! -App: The wedge salad was huge and delicious. Loaded with pickled onions, bacon, bleu cheese, tomato and dressing. Sooo good! -Entree: Stuffed chicken was delicious and served with carrots and a mushroom rice. Delish. (Also wanted the braised beef and trout which looked equally as good). Dessert: Tough choice but went with the maple cheesecake which was very yummy The view was stellar, the Table Rock Welcome Center is lovely and you can spend a few hours here hanging out, eating, shopping and enjoying the view. If I'm ever in the area again - this is going to be a must see. read more
My elderly father and I enjoyed a fabulous meal seated at a table overlooking the Falls in early June. Each year, we take a little road trip from Maryland, USA to check off items on Dad's bucket list. This year was Niagara Falls, Canada. We were seated immediately for our reserved table. The hostess was extremely kind and accommodating towards my dad's limited mobility. Our server, Samantha, was a gem! She was helpful, polite and her service of us was extraordinary. She was busy, but spent moments getting to know us and enjoyed our story. Dad and I both ordered the Short Rib dinner and the flavors were popping, with the meat fork tender, the mashed potatoes creamy and the veggies tender crisp. Be sure to order the bread service, warm rolls with the most delicious butter, yum! Samantha took our photo, the views were stunning and the meal sublime. We highly recommend visiting Table Rock for a lovely dining experience up against the thundering falls. If ever in the area again, we will return. Please tell Samantha she was a treasure, and one of the highlights of our trip. read more
Love everything about this restaurant. Our server Shaylin is especially kind. Our view from the table is also amazing that we can see the whole horseshoe fall from our table. The food portion is huge. We were only able to finish about half of what we got. read more
I honestly don't know how I've never noticed this restaurant before! Maybe it's new, or maybe I've just missed it all these years. Usually when we go to Niagara Falls, we're either rushing with the kids or just there to see the falls before heading back to Toronto. This time we were hungry, and while I was at a gas station on the way from Toronto to Niagara Falls, I did a quick Google search and this spot popped up. I asked my niece to call and make a reservation while I drove, and we arrived right on time. Thankfully we did, because wow--this place deserves 10 stars if I could give them! The service was incredible, the view was breathtaking, the food was absolutely delicious, and the dessert was just as amazing. Honestly, everything was perfect. It's more than worth the drive, and next time I'm in Toronto, I'll make sure to come back here. read more
Our tummies were hungry for lunch. We're curious with the catchy name. Never mind about price. We're on vacation. Complete with stunning and clear views of Niagara Falls for free, from a safe distance without attaining and feeling the mist. Who could not resist? Interior and ambiance feels upscale. Apps, entrees and desserts are served on a smaller scale. Lobster Herb Ravioli: Worth every bite of lobster in each ravioli. Accompanied sauce was a lobster bisque. Goat cheese helped to neutralize the spiciness of this entree. Female server was very attentive and checked on us periodically if there's anything else we needed or would like to order. She offered dessert menu for us to peruse; however, we kindly declined because our tummies were satisfied. I would definitely love to return for another meal plus dessert. read more

I would definitely recommend this place! There's a beautiful view if you can get a window seat. We got there at around 7pm on a weekend and it was still pretty open and we were just given a really nice view. All the servers are very nive and accomodating. Food is also very good as well (even though it is a little pricey)! I would keep in mind that their menu seems to change but we got: Superfood Salad - fresh veggies with a sweet sauce and extra fruit and nuts! very good Braised Ontario AAA Beef Short Rib - tender short rib with a deliciously tangy chimichurri sauce and smooth mashed potatoes and broccolini Green Goddess Orecchiette Pasta - a light but creamy pasta that is very subtley but layered in flavoring! 16oz Cowboy Ribeye Steak (medium) - nicely cooked and seasoned steak, nothing to complain about! Berry Palmer - non-alcoholic, it was a lemonade combined with some berries and super refreshing during the heat Maple Pecan Cheesecake - a smooth and delightful cheesecake with a layer of maple pecan on top, would def recommend trying if you don't have nut allergies read more

I made a reservation online for a party of one even with it being off season. I probably didn't need to, but I did get a great table with the view of the falls. I went for dinner after I heard about the illumination of the falls. Staff was very welcoming. I opted for the prix fixe menu since I was alone and didn't need a lot of food. My brussel sprouts starter and my Niagara Parks Power Station drink were both great. My short rib meal was so salty I could hardly eat it. The waitress offered to to take it back, but I was getting full so I declined. The dessert I hoped for was sold out and I was given a new dessert item to sample which was okay. The illumination of the falls was a bit lackluster, but just dinning that close to the falls was a memorable experience. read more

Outstanding food for lunch. Sitting on the second level gives a good view of the falls. Our server was patient and very helpful. I enjoyed the crispy chicken sandwich with aioli sauce. Lightly spiced and delicious! My wife loved the roasted chicken entree. The pawns were fantastic according to my mom! All together special meal as we visit the falls. Deserts are great the chocolate cake or the supremely excellent key lime pie!! Great for lunch if you are looking for a place to eat near the falls. Stop looking and go inside. You found it. read more
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I didn't have the opportunity to eat here. I wanted to post the menus for future reference for myself and other people. It look like a great experience. To start, you could have no better view of Horseshoe Falls than that provided by Table Rock Restaurant. It was spectacular! Our waitress, Samantha was amazing. Her recommendations were spot on and she was very attentive to all our needs. As an appetizer, we got a Thai shrimp which was delicious. For our main, my wife and I both got lamb burgers. I had regular fries and she had fries with poutine. The poutine was wonderful. The only minor thing I would say is that the burgers could have been cooked a bit less. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. read more
