Great burger spot in a tourist-heavy area! I went in expecting fast-food quality, but was pleasantly surprised. My wife and I visited with our baby and they were able to accommodate us with a high chair. We ordered the burger with onion rings and jalapeños -- it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious, and the chicken salad was also very good. Overall, we'd happily come back. Remember to order the spicy sauce, it has a kick and it's flavorful.
Service was good. Food was mediocre. I was really excited about this place because of reviews from others with food allergies. They were great about that, if it wasn't clearly listed, they brought out a whole book for us to review. They have gluten free buns and offerings. The bun is decent. There were 5 of us and we each got a different type of burger, but they were all pretty dry. We realized as we were eating it that they didn't ask what temperature we wanted them cooked at. They made the assumption of medium/medium well. We felt they were overcooked. The fries were just ok. We were disappointed. There are a lot of flavor combinations and options. The drinks come in Pyrex measuring cups which was funny.
So much to choose from in this burger bar. They also have pre-selected options as well as build your own. The table we were seated at was near the front windows. Not the best seat, would've preferred somewhere a little further from the next booth to us. They had flags for the teams of the World Cup and then another set for the top 16. The food was really good, homemade fries and fresh made chips. Everything we had ordered was very good.
Food is amazingly good. The place is spotless Service is marvelous even when we have a trainee server.. a shout-out for our amazing servers, Tammy and Brielle. Very polite and attentive to us.

But as you can see, i didn't take a pic of my burger... the bathroom signs made me laugh! Note. . Side salad is an option with the burger, instead of fries. And the onion rings were awesome. Nice and crispy with ONION in them! Just a bit pricey for a burger, but i expected it!
Located at the end of the Clifton Hills, the Works when I visited on a Saturday early afternoon, wasn't popping. It was a mellow vibe around 1pm when my group of 3 came. Which allowed for a more intimate experience with the servers. They were on top of it and constantly checking in and explaining to us the menu etc. especially since we are from out of town. The ambiance was chill. Plenty of seating from booths to high tops to low tops. Handful of tvs as well. Even though it was only 40% filled, there was a line for the bathroom the entire time. I definitely don't think it was an amazing burger but it was up there as pretty tasty. They have a great selection of burgers. I felt like about 40% of the burgers seemed interesting and the other 60 percent felt pretty average / similar to each other with one or two ingredients added or subtracted. One person in my group went with poutine which was okay. Lots of fries but the fries were a bit overcooked. And I shared a burger. We went with the Sexy burger which had Sweet & tangy sauce, grilled pineapple, cream cheese & banana peppers. The banana peppers and cream cheese really put it over the top. Pretty happy with my choice. If it wasn't that, we would have went with the Son of a Beech which has Avocado, Beechhouse sauce, sundried tomato & feta cheese or the Get Elk'd which has Signature Elk patty topped with Havarti cheese, house-made maple bacon jam, crunchy onion strings, W sauce and lettuce. The chips we got (you can choose between a variety of different potatoes) was oversalted and a bit overcooked. We had two tap beers (which can come in 18oz, 21oz, and 58oz jugs) and a loganberry seltzer which was really refreshing.
This place was great! The waitress was super friendly and helped answer all of our questions. The onion rings were great and we tried the s'mores burger! It was unique for sure! Love how over the top this place is. The water was served in glass measuring cups!
Once again, Yelp helped us find a great spot in what seemed like a decent food desert! The Niagara Fallas area is very touristy, and we were looking for a more relaxing spot with good food. The Works was perfect. Both burgers were juicy and freshly prepared even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. Our server was absolutely lovely! She was so friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a hearty meal near the Falls, it's worth the extra block or two walk to get to The Works!
Our first day exploring downtown Clifton Hill, and there are so many great options. We were looking for a casual lunch setting, and we had time to relax and enjoy a long lunch. We stopped in The Works and were seated right away. The interior has eye catching decor and feels like a great pub spot. We all enjoyed our entrees, and although bottomless fries sound amazing, we were so full from the first round. Definitely a nice burger place and lots of variety. Our waitress gave great suggestions and checked in on us often. The staff brought our food out timely, and everything was accurate and hot. Flavor profiles and spicy food was perfect! Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon.
Ambiance was 10 out of 10. Super cute! Service was great. The server was very attentive without hovering. Food- darn it! Kind of meh. We paid $23.07 for a burger that was quite a bit over cooked. For that money, maybe you can serve a non frozen and ask how the customer would like it cooked. The poutine fries carried a $3.38 up charge, which I wouldn't habe minded but for the price of this bill, maybe layer the curds and gravy? At least give the illusion of trying to elevate the experience. Then it would have been worth the price tag. Would I come again? No. But it's adorable. That's about it.

4 since the burgers could be a little bit better. And may be I made the wrong choice on the multiple options they had, but I have had the same burger at other places that tastes better. We also went on a Very busy labor day weekend lunch. There was no wait and the server was very polite. The theme of the decor was what made me feel really good! I would definitely recommend people visit here for lunch if they are visiting the falls.

Had a craving while visiting the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, and this popped up on Yelp as one of the best options for that around. They certainly had plenty of options! Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls. read more

They were busy when our party of four arrived but we were promptly seated. It's not that big of a dining room but it was cosy. We were seated at a table that was next to the big open window. It was like eating on a covered patio. I was afraid that I wouldn't finish my meal so I ordered a salad and had half of my husband's chicken burger/ sandwich. We took my cousins kid and her friend with us and one had a burger and the other had a breaded chicken patty. Each dish looked fresh and appetizing. Everyone seemed to like their food. I had half of the chicken sandwich and a quarter of the burger. They were juicy and full of flavor. The poutine was better than I expected. I don't think I would eat it more than once while in Canada but you have to at least try it. It's kinda like have fried mash potatoes with cheese curds. read more
Fun restaurant. Had a fun server but not very attentive due to large number of guests and few staff. We really loved the poutine (they have quite a few options) and the recommendations by our server (the Tom Green and Sexy Burger) were packed with flavors. Appreciated their diversity and uniqueness with the menu, just wish service had been more prompt and available. read more

What an amazing restaurant! Its was our first time and we believe it was the greatest burgers we never ate ! The waitresses were really kind and everything was delicious! We recommend! We went there 2 times the same day! The ambiance was good. read more
After spending the day enjoying all the cheesy activities that Niagara Falls has to offer, we were starving and needed something hearty and satisfying to eat. The Works was open late and had immediate seating, so we stopped in. It's located right in the middle of the most touristy area of NF, so be aware that this means three things: the prices are ridiculously high, the service is poor, and the food is mediocre. Have I had better burgers? Of course. Have I had worse burgers? You bet. The Works is there to serve tourists, and they probably don't care if they get repeat business. I wouldn't eat here again, but it wasn't the worst experience I've ever had. We started out with the Wrecking Balls appetizer, which sounded good on paper but was executed poorly. They were smaller than we expected, and the presentation was extremely unappetizing. See my photos: they tasted as bad as they looked, unfortunately. Next up were the burgers. I got a Juicy Lucy, which was a beef patty stuffed with cheese. I'm really glad it had something inside it to give a bit of moisture, because my burger was burned to a crisp! I don't mind well done meat, but this was ridiculous. I did enjoy my sweet potato fries, and the pickle and onions on my burger were decent quality. Hubby had a bacon burger and didn't think too much of it, but he's not a burger lover like I am. He also found the meat to be dry, but of a decent quality. He did like the fries, but we both wished they had been served hotter. The service was super slow, and our server ignored us for the majority of our meal. We ordered diet sodas and he brought regular sodas, but never came back by so we could correct his mistake. I was irritated that we paid for drinks that we couldn't even get a refill on. I did like how the sodas were served in measuring cups, but it's a gimmick that isn't great for the customer because they barely hold any liquid. Our check for two sodas, two burgers with fries, and a shared appetizer came to $69 before tip. Way overpriced for what you get. This wasn't an inedible meal, and my 3 star rating is more than generous. But I'm taking into account the touristy location and the other options that are far worse than this one. read more

First off Holly rocked it, she was the only one for front of house for the first 30 mins we were here! She easily managed 10 tables and we saw no walkouts. And best of all she was bubbly, inviting and welcoming to each table she came up too! Now on to the food it was a nice place, burgers were great, like the idea of how one orders! My boyfriend and I shared the tragically maple on sesame multigrain bun with a side of poutine. They had generous portions and tasty food. Poutine was great; I loved the cheese pull and flavorful gravy. The fries were also well cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Burger was well cooked, flavorful, and juicy. However, for whatever reason, it did take 40 minutes to get our food although we did get a discount off our meal because of that. I would probably come here again though wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come here again. read more

WOW is all I can say after my visit to The Works on 9/7. Tamara was AMAZING. She was super friendly and very helpful when it came to figuring out what we were going to get. I highly recommend the burgers and you have to try the lemonade. We came close to closing time and we didn't feel rushed or anything. I would imagine the ambiance to be like a sports bar. The food was incredible. The service was out of this world. read more

Wow!! A great spot right on the strip where all the action is. You walk in and are hit with the awesome theme "the works" sets. Electrical panels, power lines, etc everywhere. Then you're greeted with amazing service. They walk you through the expansive menu (which all sounds fantastic). Then the food itself - AMAZING. The buns are perfectly soft, burger has great flavor, and again - the service fantastic. A nice talk and handshakes when we finished eating? 10/10 in my books. read more

We came in on a Saturday night- it wasn't too busy. Hand sanitizer on the table and vaccine cards required at entry. Food was a reasonable price given the location. As far as flavor 9/10 I loved pretty much everything about this place. The only thing is that all burgers come well done and I don't like my burgers done that way. Service was at an okay pace. I would personally go back if I found myself in the Niagara Falls area again read more
Overall (B) It's pretty good - nothing great Food (B) So we got a Lucy Juicy burger. Daughters first time getting one. The guy at the counter said he would make her a really good one. It's was alright. She is a huge burger fan and was super excited. The burger was a bit dry. You can get your food as a combo Service (B+) Super friendly and nice. But took a while. Wasn't too busy and took a some time to make a burger and some onion rings. Maybe we got our hopes up too high Value (B) It's Niagara pricing.
