What an incredible experience! Hambrgr did not disappoint. This was one of, if not THE crispiest crunchiest chicken sandwiches I have ever eaten. The service was exceptional. The entire experience had me wishing we had a location in York Region. Burgers were amazing! Fries and poutine were the chefs kiss to the meal. I wish I had taken a pic of my hubby's burger because it was a tower of burger heaven! Pictured here are my kids burgers. Such a tasty burger spot!! My favorite is the Blues Your Daddy burger (I think it might have a new name now) it has blue cheese, which I love, and the strong flavour pairs perfectly with the big, beefy patty. The burgers were super filling and juicy, and the fries were huge we couldn't even finish them. The staff were really kind and gave us lots of great recommendations. The inside is a bit dark, but there's plenty of seating, including spots around the bar. Called the number to put in an order in advance and the receptionist stated it was about a 10-15 minutes wait, which was not bad at all. Ate here today for dinner with my family to try this place out for the first time while visiting Niagara Falls. Decided to grab lunch to go and take over to Port Dalhousie after finding this gem on Yelp. The outdoor patio was already full right after they opened so that was a good sign in my books. The server was helpful and friendly as I placed a takeout order. I chose the Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich, hubby opted for the Chick Fil A fried chicken sandwich and we got an order of sweet potato fries to share. Our order was ready fairly quickly and we drove straight to Port Dalhousie to eat lunch at the beach. The sandwiches were both delicious - super crunchy and juicy, the buns were very fresh. I love the variety of fun burger options to try and I liked the atmosphere. I enjoyed my Chick Magnet burger. The chicken was juicy, the pairing of brie and granny smith apples worked well together. Their fries are also pretty yummy, but come in a larger portion, making them perfect to share. I was disappointed by my Caesar though. I found it to be surprisingly sweet, which is not what I expected. I'm not sure if it was the type of alcohol used in it but personally wasn't a fan and won't be something I try again. Hambrgr has been a place on my "must eat" list for the longest time now for two reasons. The first is how incredible there burgers look on Instagram and the second reason is how incredible there milkshakes look on Instagram, so basically they have really good social media. I finally made my way to Hambrgr on Sunday and it was a dream come true for my taste buds. The menu here is overwhelmingly awesome and after staring at this burger and appetizer filled menu for almost a half hour (not because of slow service, because we just couldn't decide) I finally landed on ordering a double double with a massive milkshake on the side, the Cookie Monster. The burger was breathtaking to even look at and consisted of two burgers, crispy onions, smoked bacon jam, lettuce, cheese, and ketchup. This thing was not easy or neat to eat thanks to it being stuffed but it was incredible none the less. This burger packs a ton of flavour and a ton of joy along with it. The Cookie Monster is basically a milkshake with a large cookie ice cream sandwich shoved into the top of the glass, and it was amazing. This shake not only looked awesome and was very well put together, but it tasted equally as good and filled me with cookie joy and ice cream happiness. Overall, I absolutely loved my visit to Hambrgr. The food here was absolutely incredible, the service was quick and friendly, and the place itself was pretty darn cool too. Not that large a place, but they can sit 48 at tables and another 10 at the bar. The burgers are made in house, fresh never frozen, and man are they good. French Fry's also fresh in house made, not from frozen, and onion rings are huge. Staff is friendly, and the food takes approx 10 minutes to come out. Beers and Radler on tap. The place is not very big but very noisy. Six of us were seated at a high top and had to yell to talk to each other. The burger was over cooked therefore it was dry even though our server warned us they were cooked pink on the inside. Fries were okay but onion rings and shakes awesome. Price was good. My boyfriend absolutely LOVES this place and raves about it all the time so I was really excited to finally try it. When I don't have a chance to stop by Hambrgr, I attempt to satiate my sweet potato fry craving elsewhere and it just doesn't match up!! The duck wings are fall off the bone tender, and the sauce is a nice mix of sweet and savory. All the portions are huge, including the floats and milkshakes. They're big enough to share but they're so good that everyone will just order their own, haha. Hambrger can get busy but their staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We managed to find two seats at the bar and though at first we thought we wouldn't order alcohol, watching the bartenders make their concoctions was enough to quickly convince us otherwise. We tried the sangria and it was light, refreshing, and delicious. We of course watched them make it and it was not only a beautiful process, they used quality ingredients. We order the beet and arugula salad and a hamburger on lettuce instead of a bun. Both were great and very filling. Upon entering the restaurant, I should have left, the stench of a sewer was almost nauseous. But this was my favourite burger place.The appetizers were substandard and pulled from the fridge.
