This place was a quick stop for lunch at the falls with family from Missouri. I ordered a brisket sandwich with fries. The brisket and accompanying bbq sauce was was tasty though one of the brisket pieces was a tad more tough than I expected. My brother ordered the poutine so we could try it. It was tasty. The waitress was sweet and checked in on us often. It's a hidden little joint nestled in Clifton Hill next door to the Rainforest Cafe. This was a good spot, prices were a bit expensive but by and large the food was tasty and definitely filling. I'd check them out next time I cross the border for sure.

Went in here on New Years and had excellent meal after the Victoria Park Bryan Adams concert. Brittany was our server and she was super friendly and super fast at getting our drinks and meal--she provided outstanding service! Our drinks were perfect, Gin & Tonic and mild Irish Red draft. We ordered the Classic Burger with Poutine and it came to our table in no time at all. The thick burger had great flavor and the poutine was just amazing with the beef gravy and all of the cheese curds.

The ribs were extremely overpriced and overcooked. Not worth going there. Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill at 5317 Ferry St in Niagara Falls offers much better value for the money.

Smokehouse Burger

Good ambience with live guitar music when we were there. Food was good barbecue ribs, smokehouse burger and Cobb salad also good. They seem short staffed as it took some time for the food to come out ,...overall solid four.

My experience here was a very pleasant one. The host and waitress was really nice and make sure to come back frequently to make sure everything is good. For a BBQ place the pulled pork sandwhich and other burger was amazing. Definitely seasoned well with plenty if juiciness still in the burger. The fries were well seasoned and perfectly fried. There Happy Hour hours are weird so i did not get a drinkm overall its definitely worth coming back.

Masks down around chins while "clean" cutlery sits on the table.

Food & service were amazing! The nachos alone are big enough for dinner for 2!! Brisket was perfect.

The Works - Elk burger with poutine and getting piggy with it

Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

There were more than a few day drinkers hanging around the bar and patio, but no one seemed inebriated. To be honest, though, I probably wouldn't bring my kids here on a Friday or Saturday night. It was obvious we weren't locals and even more obvious we were there to eat (not drink), but I did not feel at all uncomfortable or out of place. Our server (a blond barkeep) was super duper nice. She was friendly, pleasant, and chatty. She definitely enhanced our visit! And the food was totally awesome! It was our first time having poutine and I'm not sure it was standard (it had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds) but it was delicious! Like really really really good. The burger was juicy and thick. The fries were totally yummy. Kid #1 said the chicken parm sandwich was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak. The prices were totally reasonable, too! Definitely a bargain considering the decent price for excellent food! For sure we'd visit Cool Hand Luke's again!

(A particularly fond memory is sitting in the car with my brother after we had ordered through the car hop service at the former Granville House, listening to Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show on CBC, and seeing the tray swaying up and down because we were laughing so hard the car was shaking.) That is, until I moved to Ontario, because White Spot is a B.C.-only kind of place. Since then, they have spun out Triple O's. You can find them in Alberta, Ontario, and even Hong Kong. Triple O's is a kind of mini-White Spot, but it's actually sort of the "best of" from the White Spot I remember: burgers, fish and chips, and shakes (minus the "Chicken Pick'ns", which, sadly, have also disappeared from White Spot's menu). White Spot still offers those dishes, plus a bunch of more upscale fare, and dining at White Spot is no longer affordable. Now, it's the kind of place you go for special occasions (unless money is no object). And, sadly, Triple O's is also at the top end of pricing for fast food joints. But still, for this homesick B.C. boy, chowing down on a Legendary burger took me back. It's still as good as I remember. But, to be fair to those who didn't grow up with White Spot, it may just come across as good, but overpriced.
