A solid 3.5-4 stars. The staff were friendly, food solid, and establishment was clean. We came for a late lunch and the bartender was the only server but she was awesome. Very friendly and took care of all our needs. We had the Cajun chicken penne. So good with good flavor and my kids even loved it, but they are good eaters. Lobster bisque and Cesar salad. The soup had a prominent white wine base but ok. Wanted the lobster to shine more than the wine in the soup but it was ok. Also had the French Dip sandwich which was solid and exactly what you would expect. Not exceptional but a good sandwich nonetheless. Wanted more of a punch between the sandwich and dip. The meat was great but there is just something missing to make it amazing, probably needs a better horseradish. The food is nasty. Idk what yall be eating to give them 4.2 stars but the Cajun pasta was boiled in water. They forgot the salt,the flavor, the cajun!! I mean all of it. How are you going to call something cajun, with cajun and flavorful being synonyms and the pasta have no flavor. The shrimp appetizer is smothered in lemon or lime juice nothing else. I could describe it upscale casual. It's nice. The atmosphere, ambiance, and staff were all very pleasing. I was a solo diner at the bar. Not only was I a party of one, but there was no one else at the bar or bar area on a Tuesday night in March. It was really nice, actually. My server/bartender Andrea was very personable and engaging. She is good at her craft. Ask for her by name, for the bar or dining room. Okay, so let's talk about the food. After all, that's why you would go to a restaurant. So the French dip that I had was excellent. I had only intended on eating half and taking the other half with me, but I just could help myself, and I left empty-handed. The only critique I would offer is the au jus was a little thick, certainly thicker than I am accustomed to. We went for lunch on a Thursday in the winter. The restaurant was nearly empty so our server, Victoria, quickly sat us at a booth and took our order. The turkey and goat cheese on naan was good but nothing to write home about, however, I had poutine for the first time in my life and it was everything I wished for and more. I tried my family's order of wings and ribs and they were tender and sauced well. Victoria was super friendly and gave us travel advise since we were tourists. I came into the restaurant with my family of 7 on a Monday evening around 8 PM. We were seated right away. The food was expensive as one would expect for the area, but it was delicious. The food portions were large and the ambiance was very relaxing and laid back. I need the recipe for the Turtle Wings please!! They were so delicious that we ordered a second helping! We were seated at a comfortable booth, and while it was busy, my partner and I had kicking food, drinks, and service. We started out with the Buffalo shrimp, brussles in NY butter sauce, and egg rolls. The Buffalo shrimp was not my favorite, but my partner enjoyed them. The sprouts and egg rolls were satisfying. The sprouts were reminiscent of American restaurant BJ brewhouse brussel sprouts, but better. These were lighter in flavor. The egg rolls had a sweet and spicy thing going on. The inside had a sweet corn, and the chicken had a slight kick. For our mains, we shared wings and ribs. For the wings, we got 20 peices of friers (small peices, but you get more in quantity than the other set) half tossed in extreme NY butter sauce (spicy Buffalo and butter) and the rest in honey sriracha. I had our waitress, who I believe was Paula, recommend the 43 sauce for our ribs. The ribs fell off the bone, and the wings hit the spot. I loved the honey sriracha sauce, they weren't too saucy! Service by Paula was amazing! My partner and I were walking for an hour and a half before coming for dinner. We were both parched, she brought us a pitcher of water. We went through about three pitchers for our entire dining experience. I also opted for a margarita in addition to water. Even being dehydrated, I'm on vacation, so why the hell not? Their margarita had good balance, but had way to much salt on the rim. When giving a thick salty rim like that, I prefer a half rim.
