The food portions were large and the ambiance was very relaxing and laid back. I need the recipe for the Turtle Wings please!! They were so delicious that we ordered a second helping! Also the 3 cheese dip and guacamole and chips. Chicken Fajitas, Kung Pao Bowl, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo were dishes that my group ordered that everyone raved about. I loved this place. The service was awesome. And the food was great too. The steak was overdone and dry, but everything else was great. The cheese starter with pita was insanely good!! Burger was great and Cajun pasta was good too. If you're in the Niagara area, it's definitely worth the stop. While staying in Niagara Falls, we walked to this restaurant on our first night. We had a short wait to be seated, and then we reviewed the menu. I wasn't very hungry, so I was happy to find a soup and salad combo. I had the French onion soup and Greek salad. Both were delicious. My friend had the bison burger and fries. She praised the cook and flavor of the meat. We were seated at a comfortable booth, and while it was busy, my partner and I had kicking food, drinks, and service. We started out with the Buffalo shrimp, brussles in NY butter sauce, and egg rolls. The Buffalo shrimp was not my favorite, but my partner enjoyed them. The sprouts and egg rolls were satisfying. The sprouts were reminiscent of American restaurant BJ brewhouse brussel sprouts, but better. These were lighter in flavor. The egg rolls had a sweet and spicy thing going on. The inside had a sweet corn, and the chicken had a slight kick. For our mains, we shared wings and ribs. For the wings, we got 20 peices of friers (small peices, but you get more in quantity than the other set) half tossed in extreme NY butter sauce (spicy Buffalo and butter) and the rest in honey sriracha. I had our waitress, who I believe was Paula, recommend the 43 sauce for our ribs. The ribs fell off the bone, and the wings hit the spot. I loved the honey sriracha sauce, they weren't too saucy! Service by Paula was amazing! My partner and I were walking for an hour and a half before coming for dinner. We were both parched, she brought us a pitcher of water. We went through about three pitchers for our entire dining experience. I also opted for a margarita in addition to water. Even being dehydrated, I'm on vacation, so why the hell not? Their margarita had good balance, but had way to much salt on the rim. When giving a thick salty rim like that, I prefer a half rim. I visited Turtle Jack's this past weekend with my sister and mom for my mother's birthday. Our server, Angela, was really nice, attentive, and friendly. She stopped by periodically making sure our needs were met. The restaurant itself is really nice and had a nice atmosphere. It was rather quiet when we went, which was perfect for us! For lunch, we ordered the Big Wing Salad with fries, the Bison meatloaf, and the blackened chicken on naan. My meal, which was the chicken on naan with a Caesar salad, was really good. The chicken was nice and flavorful. My sister and mother did not feel the same. They felt their meals were "just ok" and not really notable. I did get a chance to try their meals. My sister's chicken sandwich was ok. I did really like her fries, they were cooked to perfection- nice and crunchy. My mom's bison meatloaf was rather bland. However, all the meals had good presentation. This rating is a collective rating from my family and I. We would give our overall experience a 3.5/5 stars only because their meals weren't as flavorful as they had hoped. read more

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Turtle Jacks today. Everything about our experience was positive. The restaurant is clean and modern. They have indoor and outdoor seating. After a hot day of walking outside we opted to sit inside. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. All of the food that we ordered was delicious and fresh. My mom and I were in the Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada for a few days touring around. There are a lot of restaurants that I wouldn't go to, mostly if I don't go to them in my hometown of Los Angeles, I would never go there anywhere else. The food at Turtle Jack's was ok. Nothing to wow about. I have definitely had better wings at Hooters in Niagara Falls (which if you haven't tried their buffalo wings you are missing out). My husband really loved their ghost pepper wings but said they were a bit dry which was the same issue I had. Fries were ok as well. But this place is not nut friendly, which is a problem because our son has a severe nut allergy. We were shocked to find there were only two items on the kids menu that were not cross contaminated with nuts -- grilled chicken and steak. He couldn't even have chicken tenders. Many kids have nut allergies so they should really do better with having more nut-free items on their kids menu. read more
