The Butter was on the side and when i cut it up to spread on the potato I realized the potato was hardly warm and the ribs were room temperature. My wife's order of yam fries came 3-4 later ( likely forgotten) as she asked about them when her salad was presented. I asked if my meal could be warmed up as it was cold, brought back a few minutes later the ribs warmer but it was not worth sending back again. Potato was not warmed up. So I'm from the United States and yeah food over here is definitely better so let's start with that! Anytime I've gotten a chicken quesadilla, I have never been filled up nor satisfied by it, but today the story is different. This quesadilla was different because the chicken was super juicy, I don't eat jalapeños but they had them in there and it tasted super good with it. Also, the portion size, the portion shouldn't even be considered an appetizer because it would definitely fill you up. The nachos were good as well and we didn't even have meat on them (pause lol), but it came with cheese sauce and extra melted cheese so yeah they definitely did their thing. Aysha did a great job getting us our drinks and food asap and not being like American servers checking us on 20 million times ‍, she checked on us a good two to three times and let us enjoy our food, so thank you Aysha appreciate you and your service! The lines didn't look too busy so we decided to try this place. We were seated right away. It was a bit windy where we sat & loud from all the cars passing by. I would have preferred eating inside but at least our waitress was pleasant. She did give us a heads up to let us know it would take awhile before we got our food because they were super busy & she wasn't lying. We waited almost 30 minutes. The nachos didn't look the same as the picture. What came out was very lackluster.The chips weren't crunchy, and barely any toppings were on the nachos. The cheese didn't even look fully melted. The spinach dip was luck warm at best but had great flavors. The pita chips were delicious. I also got the steak sandwich. It was delicious and had great flavor. It was lukewarm as well but maybe that's how it is served. I got the bacon on the side but it looked like it was barely cooked. The service was good and they were attentive. After eating a featured burger here I realized that you could sell fried sewer rat and make a fortune on this busy strip, I ordered a $23 bourbon barbecue bacon cheeseburger and what I got was a well done plain burger with raw greasy bacon. I asked if my burger was supposed to have a bourbon bbq sauce on it and the waitress said "there is some", I pulled it apart and asked where. She brought out the sauce and it was spicy garbage, I quickly knew why they don't add it. We both got sweet potato fries and they were like soggy shoe strings. Wow. Save your money. Buying a 12 hour old hotdog and coffee from a gas station would be more satisfying and have more flavour. Too much to type but 3 different pints were delivered to the table all flat. Ordered a bottled instead. The Thai curry bowl the Sauce had decent flavour the chicken clearly came from a frozen bag of cooked chicken as they were still frozen in centre and rubbery. Drinks arrived in an acceptable time but salads were nowhere to be found until we reminded the server. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer and the 8oz chicken thigh dishes. The spinach dip was overly cheesy but ok. The the fried chicken thighs were excellent! By the way the salads were DRENCHED in a VERY vinegary dressing. Eh! My sister, mom, and I visited the Niagara Falls area this past weekend and decided to stop in to Kelsey's for a bite to eat. We were seated fairly quickly which was nice. However, our table and menus were a bit dirty which was not a big deal as they quickly cleaned everything. The young man who served us was very nice; however, he did disappear for 10-15 mins when we needed a drink and napkins, which was a bit annoying. To eat, we ordered chicken tenders with poutine, a Caesar salad, and nachos. All of the items were good. The chicken on my salad was cold and I would've preferred it to be warm. However, I did try some of the other items and it was all very tasty. I really liked the poutine. Went on a trip to Niagara Falls and decided to eat at Kelsey's since it was near many of the attractions I wanted to go to. It's a fairly large place with lots of booths and bar seating, perfect for families or a night out. We were seated right away but probably waited a good 15 minutes before someone actually came by to serve us. Our server was apologetic and told us that someone had called in sick and he wasn't informed that he was serving our table, which we totally understood. To start, my partner and I ordered the four cheese spinach dip with baked pita. I ordered the chicken, beet, and goat cheese salad as my main, and my partner ordered the mushroom melter burger. The spinach dip itself was great and fresh, but the pita was super tough and dry. We've had this exact order at different Kelsey's locations and never had this issue with their pita before. I enjoyed my salad. It was a good portion and was surprisingly very filling. It had good amounts of chicken which was great, especially since many places barely give you any chicken in your salads. I had a bite of my partners burger since he wasn't very satisfied with it, and I found that the patty lacked much flavour and was over cooked. The beef was dry and bland. Luckily the other toppings were flavourful and made up for it. Towards the end of our meal, I overheard our waiter apologizing for the late service to a table next to us, saying that someone had just gotten fired. I found it odd how our excuse was that someone called in sick, and theirs was a different one. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the staff, but it definitely threw me off. Overall, it's not a bad place to grab some lunch or dinner if you're in the area. The portion sizes are fair but on the pricier side, and the food is average. You might be able to find some better restaurants to eat at around the block. read more

Located in the heart of the downtown Niagara Falls area, Clifton Hill St., is this nice restaurant with plenty of seating and a covered outdoor patio. For a Saturday night with a little rain, this place was popping. On the patio was live music which was streaming throughout the entire restaurant. Although the restaurant was very crowded, our group of 9 was sat right away. Service was great. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. When I asked if the fireworks over the falls were still happening that night with the rain, he said he would have the manager check the website for us. They were still going off as planned and he told us some good viewing spots if we were staying in the area. As for the food, it was enjoyable. I'm not sure if I liked it because I was hungry and just finished running a race, or it really was tasty. Either way, I enjoyed it. Presentation was nice and I appreciate the substitution of veggies for pasta. Portions aren't huge, but the perfect amount. We also had some appetizers for the table. I had a little bit of everything but mostly the cauliflower bites were more my thing. Bonus, they split the bill to make it easy on us. Our waiter asked from the beginning if we would like that and of course we said yes.
