The pull on the poutine was soooo GOOD! My husband ordered the TAPS original burger, very flavorful. We also ordered tow flights. The food was definitely a 10/10 and the service was very friendly. Great music made for a perfect experience. 100% recommendations all around.

We were looking for something away from touristy area and this came up as a recommendation. We love a brewery so decided to check it out. Easy to get to via green line of WEGO bus. Cool place with indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of beers. Two of us had a flight. And a fun menu. We had loaded nachos to share and three of us got different kinds of poutine. Recommend if you're in Niagara for a few days.

I had a pleasant time at another brewery but I felt like it was time to move along. So I checked the Yelp and here I am. The big bonus here is that they are not in the touristy area and they have a free parking lot! Very comfortable and cool here on a hot day, the hostess found me a quiet table next to a power outlet. I enjoyed two beers over three hours, quietly sipping away and surfing the internet. Very, very nice. They do have a big music stage so if live music is a thing for you, check their schedule. They also have some huge doors so on a nice day, it's great to be inside but with the fresh air. [Review 1508 of 2024 - 183 in Ontario - 22531 overall]

Perfect brewpub food! The beer offerings went really well with the food. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday and the location was pretty quiet, which was a nice change of pace from the busy downtown area of Niagra Falls. Staff was super friendly.

Good service, great beer, get eat salads! We loved the outdoor patio! This was a great stop after a long day at Niagara Falls, it was just what we needed!

Steak strip sandwich with sweet potato fries

The restaurant had plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. We started with the nachos and they were loaded with cheese on every chip or at least enough toppings that you can scoop a plain chip with toppings. I got the steak sandwich and it was very good with the steak jus. I think an aioli would have brought the sandwich to the next level. The sweet potato fries I got for an extra $3 were really tasty except it didn't come with a sauce. My partner got the chicken buffalo wrap and that was delicious. I personally preferred that over the steak sandwich. The service was friendly and helpful. There there only 3 washroom stalls (1 for men, 1 for women and 1 for handicap) so if there are a lot of people waiting for it, you may be waiting for a which.

Popped in for dinner on our first night in Niagara Falls. Tried my first peameal bacon sandwich--very tender and tasty. My husband enjoyed the poutine. Bartender was friendly. Tried a few pints, all were good. Typical bar atmosphere.

We came here for the poutine, and it was just as good as we imagined it to be! The menu also had a lot of vegan options, even including vegan poutine. Drink wise there was lots of beer options, and cocktails as well. Brew house itself was a super cute brewery- it had both a bar area and a seating area that had live music. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly!

A respite from Niagara Falls' chaotic tourist area, just a half hour's walk towards the "authentic" downtown, this brewpub can do it all. Live music, excellent food, and a wonderful selection of beers brewed on site. Our server, Jeff, was laidback, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Delicious food, tasty beers, and super friendly staff! Stopped here for lunch on our way to the indoor water park. Family friendly, spacious, and a great atmosphere. We each got various poutine's for our entree, and the pretzel bites for app. Our son got the chicken fingers with fries. We'll be back next time we're in Niagara Falls for sure. Maybe we'll even catch a band there.

We really liked Taps! The bartender was really knowledgeable about the beers they had. We even got some beers to go. The food was great!! We absolutely loved the cheese dip! Great spot, just outside of town, so it didn't feel as touristy as other places we stopped at. Also, the prices were very reasonable. 10/10- would visit again!

Literally awful food. Beer was okay. I don't know how you can mess up a cheeseburger as bad as they did but I have nightmares about it.

The food is above average for a brewery. An excellent selection of house made beer. The best part is the FREE comedy night every Tuesday.

I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!

She was professional, checked up on us multiple times, and gave us refills in a timely manner. The food was pretty good, and I would recommend. It's away from the crazy touristy part of town, so it's a little calmer. On this night, there was live entertainment. I was glad we sat further away because it would have interfered with conversation, but I appreciated the singing (just a little loud for me). I enjoyed my ravioli, and my friend was very happy with her baby back ribs. And if you're from USA, know that the iced tea comes sweetened.

There were more than a few day drinkers hanging around the bar and patio, but no one seemed inebriated. To be honest, though, I probably wouldn't bring my kids here on a Friday or Saturday night. It was obvious we weren't locals and even more obvious we were there to eat (not drink), but I did not feel at all uncomfortable or out of place. Our server (a blond barkeep) was super duper nice. She was friendly, pleasant, and chatty. She definitely enhanced our visit! And the food was totally awesome! It was our first time having poutine and I'm not sure it was standard (it had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds) but it was delicious! Like really really really good. The burger was juicy and thick. The fries were totally yummy. Kid #1 said the chicken parm sandwich was good, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Philly cheesesteak. The prices were totally reasonable, too! Definitely a bargain considering the decent price for excellent food! For sure we'd visit Cool Hand Luke's again!

This place has sweet locals in spades. But the food is just ok, and the beer selection is just mass-produced lagers. In all fairness, we didn't try the wings; we just had a bunch of appetizers. They were all fine, but they were most likely premade, frozen and then fried. The good news: the staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. Also, the bar itself was a cool, divey sports bar vibe. Totally ok if you're looking for a local watering hole. Not a great option for killer food.
