We walked over from the Hilton- long walk (.7 miles) but it was so scenic and it started snowing and looked so pretty. Was a little nervous seeing it was next to Rainforest Cafe- didn't want to go to an overpriced touristy place with bland food. Food and drinks were great! Had bavarian pretzel that was really good and the mustardy sauce was fab! I had a caeser salad (they were able to hold the bacon) and sweet potato fries. No sooner had we arrived than Nav spotted our token from the hotel. They brought us a beer flight before we had the chance to request it. We stopped in after stopping by the taproom earlier. They were busy and had live music and the bar was packed with a handful of families as well. We were sat immediately but definitely took awhile before someone stopped by to get our order. We asked for the Lavender Gose and mentioned that we would have to wait till the happy hour start (maybe 8 minutes till) before putting that order in so we just went with their signature cocktail (a raspberry lemonade, cant quite recall) and that was pretty good. It tasted really good. I checked online and couldn't find it, but hopefully it makes it over here some day. As for food we shared the warm salt pretzel served with beer infused cheese sauce. I could have ate that thing on its own. It was very good and would be filling if you just wanted that vs an entree. For my main meal I ordered the German Bratwurst Sausage which is bratwurst sausage topped with braised sauerkraut and caramelized onions. Served on a freshly baked bun. With a side of fries. I don't usually order sauerkraut or onions but wanted to eat something other than a burger. I didn't eat ALL the toppings because I felt it was too much (for me) and my breath was gonna be kicking. B and I were on vacation traveling in Montreal and Toronto. Niagara Falls was our last stop before heading home. B loves beer a lot and we decided to dry some craft brewery. Niagara Brewing was so mediocre that it is sad to say they are not worth visiting and is our least favorite out of all the craft brewery places that we hit in Montreal and Toronto. Their beer tasted nothing special and are on the same lined to the mass production beer like Molson. Actually Molson would beat them. Not to mention they are over priced. Double the price of what other craft brewery charges and half the quality and taste delivered. B got the Amber and Radler. He thought the Amber was a fail and maybe the other beers would be better. To his surprise. Nope. Beer was definitely not up to standard. You can tell that they took short cut in making the beer by speeding up the beer making process/ they didn't do a good job and as a result all you taste was the hoppy yeast and not the flavor.
