Counterpark Brewing located in the north end of Niagara Falls in an industrial plaza is a craft brewery and kitchen. The brewery itself produces many beers and the kitchen has a great selection of food items as well as daily specials. The space is kid and family friendly where it is fully accessible (stroller friendly!). There are board games you can play and a small kids corner if your children want to play with a huge connect four as well. In terms of parking, there are lots of spots throughout the parking lot. In the summer there is also a small patio to enjoy your beers and food. Menu wise, the variety of dishes include classics like a burger and poutine as well as pasta and a vegetarian banh mi. There is also a small kids menu as well. Drinks menu wise, there is a large list of beers to choose from as well as a small list of wines, ciders, and non-alcoholic options. I had a party of 5 (4 adults and 1 baby) dine at Counterpart Brewery recently. Staff were accommodating where there was a high seat available for the baby. The space is spacious although in some areas it may be harder to fit a stroller through, but either way the space is very kid and family friendly (we saw many kids and families during our time there!). Service was great and the staff were friendly. The menu is accessed through a QR code via your phone which is at the table. My party ordered the following: - Fried chicken sandwich (b&b pickles, pickled jalapenos, cabbage slaw, and sriracha mayo) - $17 - Porchetta sandwich (slow roasted Italian pork, salsa verde, crispy crackling, arugula) - $17 - House cut fries (old bay, malt vinegar aioli) - $10 - Peach Chardonnay cider from Niagara Cider Company - $10 - Grilled jerk chicken plate (grilled pineapple, house cut fries, red cabbage slaw, cilantro) - $27 I tried the fried chicken sandwich and the porchetta sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious! In terms of the fried chicken sandwich, the chicken (which was dark meat) was tender and juicy. The pickles and slaw complimented the chicken well where the sandwich didn't feel heavy. The overall sandwich wasn't spicy even though there were jalapenos and sriracha mayo. The porchetta sandwich was also great as well which was served on a ciabatta style bun. The pork was tasty and the salsa verde added so much flavour to the sandwich. The crispy crackling definitely added some textural contrast to each bite. Overall, a great place with delicious eats and friendly service! If you enjoy beer they have a great selection to choose from. The place is also very family friendly with lots of parking outside. A must try if you are in the Niagara Falls area! read more

Absolutely phenomenal. Canada does not generally have the same craft beer craze going on like the US does. But this place knocks it out of the park. They are located on the edge of Niagara, outside all the touristy areas, in a cleanly built space with indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu is online and includes small plates and a small selection of changing main features. Start with their spent grain sourdough, marinated olives, and house pickles while you think about it. The beer list includes a few lagers, pale ales, and sours but focuses on the hazy IPAs. And boy are they smooth and flavorful. Singles, doubles, and triples will rival anything you have had anywhere. Ordering and service are on the fly--just stand the QR code flag up at your table for someone to swing by anytime you want something new. We had a great experience at Counterpart Brewing! The vibe is awesome, with a welcoming patio, friendly staff, and even live acoustic sets that added to the relaxed atmosphere. The beer here is really solid--creative, unique, and well-brewed. My wife and I both got a flight and took a few cans home, including the Pizza Pils, which we're especially excited to try. Our flight standouts were: * Better Place * Broken Crown * Blender * March of the Pigs The food was a hit too, with plenty of vegetarian options. My wife got the Tofu Banh Mi and loved it--perfectly cooked tofu, great sauce, and a really fresh coleslaw. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavour--loved the jalapeños and coleslaw combo. We also want to shout out the fries--nicely seasoned (tasted like Old Bay), and paired with a malt aioli that was super tasty. The house pickles were another small touch that stood out--fresh and tangy, and my wife was a big fan. This place was great! The interior is very nice and clean! They have a great system down to know when the customer is ready to order and when they have been taken care of. Everyone helps every table and work as a great team! Their food was absolutely amazing. Their poutine was one of the best we had while visiting Canada. Their burger was also phenomenal. I do find it funny that the kids burger is the same size as the adults and comes with fries, where the adult burger did not. But either way, they were great! My husband loved each beer he tried. Staff is so kind and has great recommendations. the flights are amazing to get to try a lot of their Hazy IPAs, loved the "what the F is flow" and the poutine was the best we've had in Canada. Was recommended the chicken sandwhich and told "there would be riots if we took it off the menu" AND THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. This brewery came onto our radar when some of their big beer releases were shared in a Facebook beer group. The beers sounded great and we knew on our last visit to Niagara Falls that there wasn't great brewery options. We started following Counterpart on Facebook and planned a visit for a future trip. It was a pretty easy drive after crossing the border. It is in with a self storage place which is a bit weird. The brewery is light and bright. They have a nice patio. We were greeted and seated immediately. We knew we wanted to try a beer or two and grab some lunch before continuing on our journey. I tried a fruited sour which was flavorful and just a bit tart. It was tasty. I also appreciated they sold single cans to go as we were able to grab a few other options. Unfortunately they didn't have any of the stout and barleywines that kept catching our attention as they keep those as special releases. I hope to be able to try some in the future. As a lover of a good Banh mi I had to try the fried tofu Banh mi they offered. The tofu was crispy. The sandwich was super flavorful with a hint of spice. The bread held up well. It was delicious and I would always be happy to eat this. Also tried a crispy cauliflower taco which was very tasty. A lot of flavor packed into a little taco. My fiance said he could have eaten 6 of them. They have a wide variety of food on the menu. I love that it isn't just typical bar food. They had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, which can be difficult to find at a brewery. This is a little off the main tourist area in Niagara Falls. Epic place! Visited on a chilly Sunday in March on our way back from a quick Niagara Falls March break trip with family and we had a great time. The space is beautiful, the servers were all super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious, like every single thing. Loved the games area they had set up in the corner of the main dining area - my three year old daughter and her cousin had a blast playing with the giant ring game and the pac man game as well. Considering this is a brewery first before a restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here! We ordered the fried chicken sandwich (pretty spicy!), PEI mussels, and crispy fried brussels sprouts. The brussels sprouts were my favourite for sure. The ginger chili dressing, sesame, cilantro was the perfect balance! All the food was extremely delicious and great quality for the price point. Service was unique here as you had to scan the QR code for the menu but only press the button when you're ready to order and ready for the bill. You pay at the front. In terms of the beer, great selection of craft beers. My husband ordered this amazing stout that said it would taste like coffee crisp and it did!!! How amazing is that? Ample parking outside. The spot is located on a road that doesn't look as scenic as the rest of NOTL. It looks like a side street in Brampton where they do manufacturing and warehouses. We were sure that our GPS had sent us in the wrong direction when we pulled into the parking lot for a storage facility. However, the brepub is located in the same building at the other end. We opted for outside seating on their patio, which was quieter than the echoing, rock music they were playing indoors at a high volume. The burger was delicious. Great beer, delicious food, ultra friendly staff - what more can you ask for? First: Beer. We tried a flight of beer, and honestly the description on every one sounds so enticing it's hard to pick four. My favorite of the IPAs is Aerials, fruity, juicy and with a mellow roundness to the hoppiness that makes it incredibly drinkable. The Constellations is such a fruit bomb. When Worlds Collide Hefeweizen has a good banana note but more funky than I like. Second: Food. Absolutely can compete with the best restaurants. Even if you don't drink, the food is worth coming for. First of all, their sourdough, made in house with their own spent grain, has a lovely crust with an incredibly airy inside. So good. So good, in fact, we ordered two loaves to take home. The beef crudo not only looks pretty, it tastes divine. A fancy restuarant may serve you a steak tartare for twice the price and half the portion and won't taste as good. Last but not least: Their people are so cheerful and helpful, and really go above and beyond for special requests. Thank you so much. Unfortunately, our visit got off on the wrong foot right away. Our waitress was extremely rude from the moment she approached our table and made us feel like she didn't want to serve us at all. The food also came out one dish at a time, so we couldn't actually eat together one person was already halfway done before the next plate arrived. The poutine fries were way overcooked, and while the beer was just okay, nothing really stood out. The service was also fair. But the food... wow. Everything was SO salty! I mean, every item we ordered! Cute brewery w a patio beside a self storage space! They sell flights of 4 beers for $13 and they have a variety of tasty craft and sour beers! They have an INCREDIBLE fried chicken sandwich which was super soft, moist, well seasoned and had a wonderful crunch! I Loved the slaw, pickles and jalapeños in between a soft and toasty bun which helped create the perfect bite. It's not a huge sandwich but it was a great and delicious snack!! Definitely a must try if you're going there. I also loved their beer selection. Really liked the vanilla and coconut roller which looked like a heavy stout but was an oatmeal stout (tasted almost like a black coffee without coffeewith vanilla and coconut wonderful aftertaste. If you like smoothie sours and hazy IPAs, you're not going to do better in a very, very wide radius in Canada. Easily on par with a lot of the USA breweries who are known for these styles (and surpassing some popular/trendy ones too). Great beers, great food/unique and changing menu, and great service. I had the feature burger and the fried Chick Peas. Food was great ! Feature burger comes on it's own, and doesn't need anything. A true juicy, fatty, wonderful burger. Chick peas were a wonder crunchy set up. The Brew is quality, but not necessarily my cup of tea on the whole. I'm from New England, and several of the brews are reminiscent of beers by the famed Alchemist in Stowe. Meaning many would consider them a premium taste profile, but I find them all a bit hoppy (meaning slightly bitter), HOWEVER, I would say that I think Counterpart does a better job of mixing in some fruity essences to counter balance out the hoppy nature. Some of their collaborations speak even better of their effort to create more flavor differentiation, and the "What the f*** . . . ", I found a hefty, easy to down beer (a really good pint for a day gone wrong ;). It's fully worth a stop. read more

Absolutely amazing restaurant to go to. To start off, amazing location with spacious parking lot. Lots of Outdoor seatings. Inside was spacious as well. Service was 200%. Our waiter was low key cuteeee and very helpful. He suggested a hiking place for us, which we went to after lunch( definitely worth it). Food was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the spicy chicken sandwich, as someone from southern part of the US, I'm very picky with my fried chicken sandwiches. Really great burgers! Wish they had a GF bun, but it was good without. This was our first time to this restaurant , it is "a la carte", anything can come out at anytime. Our burgers came out before our drinks arrived. Then the fries came after our burgers were finished. I truly didn't enjoy that sequence. The servers were all pleasant and it was a fun family type of place. Would definitely go back. Maybe would attempt to hack the system to get drinks first, then attempt to get burgers and french fries around the same time. If anyone has tips, please share! For a place with a smallish menu, they surprisingly accommodate vegetarians very well! Was very impressed with the offerings (food + beer). Agree with what others say about reading the whole menu, we definitely missed reading the last part but liked everything we ordered and still felt there were good options. The space is open and bright. There is a large patio space in the summer as well. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
