Cool brewery in Buffalo area proper folks. Unique beers and atmosphere. Nice people working here. Customers were also friendly to us while we got several beers.

After some sightseeing in Buffalo, we made a quick stop at Spotted Octopus to try some of Buffalo's beer scene. I had a flight of 4 beers, which was a hard choice, because they have a nice variety. I loved the Double Chocolate Stout, but the rice lager, sour, and hazy were excellent, too. Definitely worth a stop

Love this place and the welcoming ambience! Our 3 dogs are always happily greeted. The house beer is very good with a great mix of styles and innovative tweaks. There's a small menu of heat/eat snacks and munchies. For non-beer drinkers like me, I go for one of the ciders or meads on tap, or my favorite cocktail, the root beer float. Lots of board games and 4-packs or crowlers of their beer to go.

A nice small place, cute. Had great conversation with the owner, didn't catch his name, he is an ex Navy vet, very personable! Very cool history behind the name and logo also, ask about it! Seltzers They have a plain carbonated seltzer and they add flavored shots to them for flavor. 10 flavors to choose from. It's less carbonated than normal seltzers which I really enjoyed. And the flavor shots are pretty strong and end up being very flavorful as well. A cool original idea that stands out.

My hubby and I stopped in for a beer on a Wednesday night. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. The place was cozy and the bartender was very welcoming . The beer was good, but we didn't try any of the snacks. The decor was fresh and fun. Parking can be a problem if you park in the church parking lot.

Loved this brewery! Ken was a gem and the location is warm and friendly. He gave my friend and I some really great local recommendations. I enjoyed the beers and the snacks he had also hit the spot! If you have time and are looking a unique brewery this is a must. I will always come back here and I hope it continues on for years and years!

Cute spot. Very friendly bartender that let you know the best way to test out the pickle beer. I had the spiked hot cider and it was perfect for Xmas eve out of town. We played cute games too. Darts were upstairs.

This was our 3rd time here and we had a great time. Extremely friendly bartenders and we chatted with the other people at the bar. I highly recommend the seltzer flight. I asked the bartender to pick the flavors for me and all 4 were great. I had the mango habanero, lavender, ski resort sangria and I think grapefruit.

Spotted Octopus Brew Co, cute brewery in a historic building downtown Buffalo. Chose a flight of: Do you have any IPA's, Cheaper than Therapy, Seneca St Saison, Darkness Calls. Really good beer. My favorite was the Saison. Games galore to keep you entertained. Easily walkable from downtown hotels near theater district area.

I think this place is going to be a great addition to the Buffalo brewery scene. I went with a few friends on Saturday afternoon for a couple beers. It was pretty crowded inside so we hung outside on their patio. I believe there is upstairs seating as well. The bartenders/owners were very welcoming and happy to open the doors to this new brewery. I tried one of the IPA's they had on draft (Julia something?) and it was decent. I think my group's overall consensus was that it's a really cool place and the beer is just okay right now, and we can't wait to see it evolve. Excited to go back!

Eclectic atmosphere and a very friendly bartender/owner combined with a fun trivia night made for a memorable Wednesday evening . I have a buy one get one free brew card and this was one of the participating vendors . I enjoyed a strong beer wheat /wine beer, but at almost 9% ABV , I chose a mead as my second beverage, which was a bit lighter from Lilly belle meads . The owner let us sample several of the brews on tap while giving us an overview of the history of the building , which is just outside of Allentown . Not much in the way of food is offered , but some light snacks such as popcorn, pretzels and jerky are offered . I highly recommend supporting this small local business which is a nice step away from the busy and large brewery spaces Buffalo has come to know .

Cute place and I enjoyed some of their beers. Nice patio setup in back for the summer. Staff is always friendly. Dog friendly place. It's a bit small downstairs and the upstairs is very odd. The upstairs is like a forgotten living room. Only downfall

Most creative flight board I've ever seen! Available for purchase as well.

This spot has always been a favorite of mine. It really makes the one end of Main Street in Williamsville. We started out with the pretzels and elote dip. The chips for the elote were great too and the dip was a great way to start the meal. The pretzels were soft and chewy and I really enjoyed the mustard they used. I couldn't decide on the main part of my dinner and kept going back between a pizza and a burger. Ended up going with the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza and I was very happy with the choice. The pizza had some heat but nothing too crazy. The wood fire pizza itself was cooked perfectly. Very good and I will definitely be back for more of their pizzas. I also ended up getting a piece of cheesecake to take home and it was great! Very sweet and creamy. I have never seen a rectangle piece of cheesecake before, but maybe that's the secret to why it was so good. We will definitely be back for more here. We love coming here with friends and it is a good spot for dinner or a double date.

Well, they were on the list of Yelp Buffalo's top places to eat in 2025, so of course we had to give them a try. The space itself is really beautiful. Nestled alongside a river with a cabinesque vibe. Stone exterior, with wood floors, exposed brick, and large fermentation tanks on the interior. It's really quite cozy. As for food, our table shared one of their tasty dips - the elote one to be exact. Elote is delicious on its own, but in dip form with pickled red onions, fire! I could eat an entire bucket of this stuff. When it came to my main course I ordered what I call the basic girl dinner, a caesar salad and fries... but here I went with the tater tots because I was told they are heavenly. My salad was a good portion size and exactly what you want when you order a caesar. As for the tots, the amount you get is insane and they were in fact, fried to a crispy perfection. They definitely hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I can see why Yelpers in Buffalo rate this spot so high. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent flyer.

Note: if you like sours try the Cherry Cobbler sour it is over the top tasty! Also had the Cran Orange Ale which I could have drink a second one of easily too. Now on to the food... I am from Texas, and am a bit picky over BBQ, especially Brisket. Y'all there's nothing worse than a dry piece of smoked brisket... just sayin'. Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. I ate half of it before even opening the sauces! Same to be said for the Chicken, it was tender, with the perfect little hint of smoke, legit delicious! I highly recommend this spot when visiting the area... I will definitely be back my next time through.

I paired that with a tasty pile of sweet potato waffle fries and a side of honey for dipping them in. The fries were a perfect blend of crispy outside and soft inside, just a touch of salt, and the honey is genius (it's an extra $1 and well worth it). Several other beers on the menu look tempting too, and they make their own pizza dough! Another plus: the owners are friendly awesome people. I am very likely to return. The inside seating area is larger than it looks like from the outside, with plenty of seating at the bar and at tables, plus an outdoor patio. Restrooms are clearly marked and easy to access. There are several large TVs showing various sports games - no closed captions though. Music is nice, there was an upbeat jazz background while I was there. It's on the louder side but not too loud to have conversations. If you don't get lucky with a parking spot out front, there is a decent sized free parking lot just down the street and around a corner. This is another win for the beer passport!

We didn't opt for any food from the kitchen, but were glad to see there's the option to chow down while drinking. An added perk was that finding parking on a weeknight was super easy. Our waitress was wonderful. I was debating between a couple items on the menu and opted for a salad. I ordered the Beet & Burrata salad ... um lol well if you would call it that. Two of us ordered this and we both were surprised when it came out to say the least. Basically a couple pieces of lettuce on top of chopped beets under a spicy-ish hollandaise type dressing over burrata. Or I'm assuming the dressing was what was a tad spicy. However I couldn't figure it out lol. There were a couple tiny smoked peach pieces on the side...just too smoky for my taste. Would have preferred just a fresh grilled peach. Also added a side of chicken to toss on my "salad" thinking it had a whole bed of lettuce, however could have avoided ordering that had I seen a picture of this salad beforehand - so I threw that in for you all in case you're on the fence of what to order. It was good if you like beets, but not really filling since the portion was pretty small. Loved the presentation though, gotta give them that. I also had the Oz-molitan... cosmo with blood orange ...delicious! If you like fruity drinks get it!! I tried my friends' fresh cut regular fries, the truffle fries, and also some of the pepperoni flatbread (I forget exactly what it was called, apologies) but all of those were to die for! I almost wished I had ordered those myself haha. Oh well, next time! Not a huge fan of coming downtown (only downside for me but the hubby dropped me off lol) but I would definitely come back again!

The inside was super cute. It is on main street with the train track so there is basically no parking in the vicinity so it's a cold walk during winter. We ordered Kugel Latke for an appetizer. It was fine, it tasted like uncrisp tater tots. If there was a sauce of sorts to dip it in, it would have been better besides just potato. For mains we shared two half pizzas the Fig& Pig and the Pepperoni + Honey. They were both fine, they were half sized but still didn't seem like a lot. The person I was with thought it was too much fig, but I had no problem so that is preference. Though the pork belly was mainly fat. The people with us weren't fans of their food either. They also added Truffle fries and were told it would be extra which they agreed to, but it was an additional $9 not jut 2 or 3. For the service, we assumed it was all due to the massive party but it wasn't that great. We were right in front of the bartender and our water was refilled once the entire time we were there. We also didn't get silverware and when we asked for napkins we got a single paper one. We were also at the end of the bar which is where the severs would stand or get the food which was directly next to us which was a bit annoying due to the proximity, they were as close as sitting next to us at a table. No one checked on us either thoughtout our time. Overall, the food was fine, nothing amazing. I'm assuming they get a lot of Shea's traffic which is fine if you want a drink with a snack. I would not come here for an actual meal as it is a limited menu and you don't get a lot. The service wasn't great, but we're going with it was due to the large party. None of us will be returning. It was super cute with the lights though.

Seeing as I'm a Yelp-er, they wanted me to find a spot I hadn't been to yet, even though I had eaten dinner already on my own. I had The Ridge West Seneca saved in my "Places to Try" collection so I said let's go. Overall, I cannot wait to go back and grab a meal here and try the food for myself! We arrive just before 8pm on a Saturday night to a large gravel parking lot that was pretty busy, but we still found a spot pretty easily. We walked in and the hostess was able to seat the two of us at a booth right away! Inside it was very spacious with plenty of TVs going, a bar on one side, music playing overhead. Indoor noise was elevated (it's a restaurant that has a bar, it's going to not be quiet haha) but the two of us could carry on a conversation fairly normally. Our waitress came over immediately to let us know she'd be a few minutes as there were a few other tables she was handling. Fine by us as that allowed my buddy ample time to look over the menu and figure out what he wanted. I saw the St. Patrick's Day-themed cocktail specials menu so I knew what I was ordering. Our waitress though - Absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly friendly, had great personality, and was really accommodating in splitting the check (I took care of all our drinks, my friend took care of his dinner). Our waitress did a great job checking in on us at the perfect time, we never felt pressured, rushed. I didn't order any food but my friend ordered their Steakhouse Strip off the "Large Plates" section of the menu, and boy oh boy, did that look amazing! The 12-ounce strip was cooked to a picture-perfect medium-rare with plenty of tobacco onions on top and around the plate, and served over a generous bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus, served with a small cup of their A1 aioli. After seeing that, I certainly want to come back and order food. My friend really enjoyed their meal, the plate was clean! As for me, I ordered two St. Patrick's Day -themed cocktails: "Sham Rocked Shake" and "Irish Good Bye". The "Sham Rocked Shake" was vanilla vodka, crème de menthe, cream, and chocolate syrup and curls - This was creamy, delicious, not overly minty. The "Irish Good Bye" was Three Chord bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and lemon juice with a lime wedge - There was so much flavor in this cocktail, the lemon juice added a pleasant fruity 'punch'. Looking at the prices for these cocktails, I felt they were in-line with most other places and they were made well so no complaints from me. The Ridge West Seneca really surprised me! I've driven past it a few times and wondered how good it was. From our friendly waitress and service, the delicious cocktails, to the fantastic-looking food, I am impressed. I'm looking forward to coming back soon for another night of drinks and to try some food!
