Love this place and the welcoming ambience! Our 3 dogs are always happily greeted. The house beer is very good with a great mix of styles and innovative tweaks. There's a small menu of heat/eat snacks and munchies. For non-beer drinkers like me, I go for one of the ciders or meads on tap, or my favorite cocktail, the root beer float. I have been to about 5 breweries in Buffalo during my visit, and this place is my favorite! It truly encapsulates the best about microbreweries: friendly people and interesting brews. When I visited the taproom was manned by a couple, part-owners of the brewery. They are friendly, down to earth people who is happy to chat with you and really proud of their city, having grown up here. They have a nice variety of beers, from lager to IPA to seltzer, so you can always find something you are interested in. They also very kindly let me split my drink so I can have two smaller portions instead of one. They do not serve food but have a few snacks available for purchase. read more

A nice small place, cute. Had great conversation with the owner, didn't catch his name, he is an ex Navy vet, very personable! Very cool history behind the name and logo also, ask about it! Seltzers They have a plain carbonated seltzer and they add flavored shots to them for flavor. 10 flavors to choose from. It's less carbonated than normal seltzers which I really enjoyed. I think this place is going to be a great addition to the Buffalo brewery scene. I went with a few friends on Saturday afternoon for a couple beers. It was pretty crowded inside so we hung outside on their patio. I believe there is upstairs seating as well. The bartenders/owners were very welcoming and happy to open the doors to this new brewery. I tried one of the IPA's they had on draft (Julia something?) and it was decent. I think my group's overall consensus was that it's a really cool place and the beer is just okay right now, and we can't wait to see it evolve. Excited to go back! read more

Eclectic atmosphere and a very friendly bartender/owner combined with a fun trivia night made for a memorable Wednesday evening . I have a buy one get one free brew card and this was one of the participating vendors . I enjoyed a strong beer wheat /wine beer, but at almost 9% ABV , I chose a mead as my second beverage, which was a bit lighter from Lilly belle meads . The owner let us sample several of the brews on tap while giving us an overview of the history of the building , which is just outside of Allentown . Not much in the way of food is offered , but some light snacks such as popcorn, pretzels and jerky are offered . I highly recommend supporting this small local business which is a nice step away from the busy and large brewery spaces Buffalo has come to know . read more

Loved this new Brewery. We tried two of their beers and loved both of them!! First was Ella , which is a Blonde Ale, a light and fruity beer . We all thought it was great. Next we tried their Peach An Pepper which is a Golden Ale. Never have tasted anything like it. Sweet with a little bit of heat. It was a delicious! We don't care for Hopped or Dark beers , they have them on the menu however we didn't try them. They are going to have a lite menu. I came here for Trivia a few weeks ago. I loved the octopus themed aesthetic of the bar--painting, stuffed animals, you name it. There's all sorts of different games you can play at the tables in the upstairs area, and I believe the dart boards are free (although you do need to keep your own score). I went for Wednesday Trivia with "A Couple of Nerds"--we had a blast! The service was wonderful--there was only one bartender but he brought us our food when it was done even though we were upstairs. They don't have an expansive kitchen but they don't need one, in my opinion. They have enough hot snacks (pizza logs, etc.) that it can keep people there. Watch your step coming out--it almost got me last time! read more

This establishment is small in size but so comfortable to hang out with friends. The service is friendly and engaging. There is an outdoor yard available to sit under the stars that is very nice. This microbrewery is fantastic!!! A friend and I came here four nights ago. She has been here before but I hadn't. They've been open since April of this year. We sat in the middle of their bar area. Ken was working the bar. He's one of the owners. He helped another worker, when she had a few questions. My friend ordered a glass of red wine from A Gust of Sun winery. I ordered a glass of the Spotted Octopus Black Cherry Cream Ale. I bought some popcorn. They support What's Poppin and had a few of their flavors for sale. (They have a few other things for sale too but they don't have a kitchen in here.) My friend ordered a glass of Solstice mead from Lily Belle Meadery. I had Ken make me a mixed drink with bourbon and something else in it. I forgot what was in it but it was fantastic. They have an area to sit in where you first walk in and also the bar area. Just past the bar is the unisex bathroom. After getting our second drinks, my friend and I suggested that we sit outside. I'm so glad that she did. The patio is super cute!!! They have dart boards inside and can jam outside, as well as a bike rack, near the front entry. I thoroughly enjoyed myself here and I'd love to come back soon. read more
