Get your beer at the counter, then find a table if you want food. Theres a food truck outside serving chicken, fries, and burgers. You can scan a QR code from your table, and the food truck people will bring it to you. One guy working behind the counter, so be prepared to wait while he pours, but nonetheless, it's a decent place. Pretty clean, a little loud, but it didn't feel crazy, lots of outdoor space (corn hole and Adirondack chairs on the patio.) The punch bowl orange creamsicle is delicious. read more

BriarBrothers make so many good beers and seltzers! I like that their seltzer flavors change frequently. My current favorite beer is the curious mind - a dark coconut beer. Although there is no food menu here, Hen House is always posted up outside. This is a great brewery with even better beer! Definitely an underrated brewery in Buffalo. read more

We've been here a few time now and I'm finally writing a review. This is a fun relaxing place with an industrial feel and great history. I've tried a few different beers here and they're all been good. The walk down the hall to the restrooms is interesting. That's where you see a lot of history about the building & even a Barber Shop! Great outdoor area with plenty of seating. No food served inside but the Hen House food truck was there on 2 of our visits. They have great sandwiches. Love coming here with the pups. They always have a fruit sour on tap that I like, not being a regular beer drinker. I highly recommend the Punch Bowl peaches and cream if it's on! I came here with friends for drinks 2 weeks ago and was excited because I hadn't been here yet. There was plenty of parking which I appreciated. I do not drink, so I was pretty disappointed that they didn't have a single N/A option outside of soda. I wouldn't return here due to this reason. I have not been to a brewery or bar in the last few years that DIDN'T have some kind of N/A beer or cocktail available so they really need to remedy this since there are plenty of people who don't drink but still want to hang with their friends at a brewery. I did appreciate the water station available though. They also didn't have their chicken available, so we made due with Molly's woodfired pizza. The pizza was good, but they did forget my friend's pepperoni on her pizza and when she told them they were not at all apologetic and did not offer her money back for the extra $1 she paid for pepperoni. The brewery itself has great vibes but they have a way to go before they establish themselves as a 5 star establishment. read more

What a cool place! I love what they did with the old building and the space itself is super neat incorporating the history of the industrial city with new ideas! We need more of this forward thinking rather than tear down and rebuilding all these ugly vanilla new places. The beer was great and the pizza was absolutely fantastic! I love that this grain silo has been repurposed as Briar Brothers Brewery. This place is very unassuming and cozy. I love their Irish Red beer named Molly's Gate. You need to order and pay at the bar, but the line moves quickly. There was a hot chicken food truck outside and the smell was intoxicating. The hot chicken sandwich was delicious and spicy. This is one of my favorite breweries in Buffalo. It is in the bottom of an old grain silo, which by itself is really cool, but add beer and it's the best. The bartenders and owners are super friendly and always happy to help with which beer to order based on what you like. The whole place has a great neighborhood, relaxed bar feel to it. They also have great merch like hats and shirts. I have tried a few of their beers and they all have a very easy sipping ability where it will be a hit with everyone from IPA guys to regular folks who just want a great beer. We even had a going away party here for a friend and the staff was super helpful pulling it all together. Hen House also has a truck outside too which is the perfect one-two punch with the pints and some hot chicken sandwiches. Overall, this place is great. It really has everything you'd want in a bar in a great one of a kind spot. read more

I've come here to watch the Bills a couple times now and each time has been a good experience! I love the location of their taproom within old malting silos. The taproom is plenty spacious and the noise level during a Bills game is surprisingly manageable. Plenty of parking too is nice. The staff have been incredibly friendly, at least each time I've been here. Their beers are excellent, I've had a few varieties of their brand and have been very pleased. Plenty of tables and a good-size bar to sit at. Be sure to get up and walk around a bit as the stools can become uncomfortable after a while. Also, come hungry and grab some food from the Hen House Nashville Hot Chicken food truck! The Hot Hen sandwich is easily one of the best chicken sandwiches I've eaten! I'm a fan of BriarBrothers Brewing Company and look forward to coming back to sample more of their beer and grab another Hot Hen chicken sandwich! read more

We bought and enjoyed a pizza from Molly's Wood Fired Pizza, the food truck here at the Brewery. It was a Chicken BBQ pizza with Ranch. While there was not a lot of chicken on the pizza, there was a good amount of BBQ sauce and flavor. Along with the pizza, we had a complimentary beer as a YELP "present". Went there for dinner and drinks as they have the Hen House there on Thursdays with a really good special. This is a review about the brewery, though not the food. I've been there twice so far and have tried a few different drinks and they were all solid. Overall I wouldn't say I'm a huge hard seltzer fan but I really love the cream soda one that they had on rotation at the time. Love me a cream soda, and it tastes so much like one, but with alcohol! In terms of beers, I tried the fruit sour beers called punchbowl, which had a couple varieties as well. If you're into craft brews and maybe want to try something different with hard seltzers as well, I'd recommend giving them a visit. The staff is great and will let you try something before you buy the full size as well. read more

Stopped in to try it out. Wow what a cool place. I just love the creative reuse of the old Buffalo silos and buildings. I only tried the brown ale but it was really good. You don't find too many browns being brewed around here. On a Thursday there weren't any food trucks (no kitchen at BB) so we had to move on to grab dinner but I do know that they have trucks on occasion. They also encourage you to bring in your own food. That's all I need. We sat outside where they have corn hole and nice seating choices - sun or shade. Inside was very chill. I will definitely be back when there's music and food trucks. Cool place! Neat building. I had a seltzer that was very good. Had to walk quite a ways to the bathroom though.

This brewery opened up just the past Saturday in the Old First Ward, and it's a great addition to Elk Street. We stopped in on Sunday and grabbed a couple flights on the patio. Between the two flights, we were able to sample all of the beers and one of the seltzers. Wow! We were so impressed. We really enjoyed their beers. The outside patio area by the silos is such a nice setting for relaxing outside and taking in the city's rustic but charming decor. The same building hosting the brewery has a couple other businesses including a new barber shop. So, be sure to explore while you're there. The gentleman who took care of us was incredibly informative and helpful, which always is a nice touch. The inside has a cool, industrial feel that I can see being busy during the cold winter months. Try them out when you can. I'm looking to go back already. read more
