    Lotsa cinnamon!

I come here for brunch sometimes and service is always just ok. At least on our last trip I was able to order the first item I wanted. I just got the Ditchwitch breakfast sandwich with the chicken sausage. The fried egg was over cooked with crispy pieces of white and I got a piece of shell. So I had pieces of gross egg and the shell on the side of my plate. The hashbrowns must have been deep fried because they were amazingly crispy, but a little too salty. My mother got the biscuit sampler and enjoyed it. They could have been a little more generous with the sausage gravy in my opinion. My Mom counted 4 small chunks of sausage. They took the corned beef hash off the menu that my Mom got last time and it was delicious! If I'm in the area I might stop in, but overall I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. I do enjoy the wide open garage doors and patio in the summertime.

The hubs & I started with cheese curds, which were delicious! I had the Beef on Weck and he had the Bangers on Mash. The food was incredible. Our server was great and attentive. The atmosphere was great - typical of a brewery eatery.

We went on a very busy Saturday but we were seated right away! The place is very large lots of wood everywhere! The menu was pretty big with lots of sauce options for fries! I got the sandwich famous in Buffalo beef on a weck! Which is roast beef sandwich and the roll has salt and caraway seeds. I ordered fried cheese curds and a mocktail! Everything came out quickly and all together considering we were a table of 5 it was impressive! Most tasty meal!

Greek Pork belly tacos (special) 7/10 The pork belly was deep fried- it was hard, some of it was crunchy, it was hard to chew and I did not like it. The rest of the taco was just fine though.

We got a post on facebook earlier today that Big Ditch has 75 cents wings on Mondays from 3- close, so we decided to have wings for dinner. We ordered 10 of the Hayburner wings, medium heat, and 10 of the Hot Honey wings. We liked them both, but liked the Hot Honey ones more. The wings are served with blu cheese and a few( very few) pieces of celery. Our waitress, Kelsey, was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu! It was a very enjoyable dinner.

Love this place! They make the best Reuben sandwich I have ever had. I love their nachos with pulled pork. Plain Jean interior with an upstairs and downstairs. Service is always great. Parking can be a challenge.

Another excellent brewery discovered thanks to the WNY Craft Brew Tour Cards from Habitat for Humanity. I admit, I almost left before sitting down though - the place was absolutely packed with people, very loud, and it was a 30-minute wait for a table. After not too long I was able to snag a seat at the bar and I am very glad that I did. Beer first! I got a seasonal Cinnamon Apple Amber Ale - it is light and flavorful, a beer with almost cidery-notes and a lovely autumn vibe. I would happily get that one again, and there are several more on tap that I want to try. Flights of 5 beers are available for $15 (must get 5 different ones). The food menu has some interesting and creative options and I had a hard time choosing. I went with the poutine and added chopped steak. It's a bit on the saltier side but I think in a good way and it was great with the ale. Plus, the serving is huge! (I brought home leftovers and those vanished pretty quickly too). The people next to me got the tots and nachos, and both plates looked generous and delicious. It's a bit spendy but feels very much worth it here at least for what I saw. Ambiance - the bartenders and hostess were outstanding. Even with the place being very crowded, it was easy to get their attention and I felt well cared for. Restrooms are clean and easy to find with clear signage. There is a little gift shop by the front register / host station if you do brewery keepsakes, want a new hoodie, or want cans of beer to go. For the table seating, they ask for your cell number and text you when your table is ready (so bring your phone!). I was able to find street parking not too far away which is free after 5pm. Some tables have a decent view of the tv's, but the screens are kind of small and no closed captions. There are huge windows that are perfect for watching the weather and city.

Great restaurant with lots of food and drink options. Of course their own beer plus a full bar. We had an appetizer special which was chicken ranch fries. Amazing! We also shared the Reuben which was good but the corned beef was a little on the tough side (hard to bite so it made for a messy sandwich) but the taste was very good. A nice open seating area with big windows. Our waitress was great and helped us pick a drink that wouldn't be acidic.

Stop #2 on our wing tour of Buffalo and a bit of a sleeper. Definitely went here for the beer as a hayburner IPA(or 2) is a must every visit. One of my favorite IPAs in Buffalo, this place never disappoints. Had their FC Session IPA and does it better than founders All Day. Food was really good as well.

A nice spot my work team stopped in for happy hour. Very nice beer and bar vibe and the service was good. The food was delish and there were many selections of beers.

Who said wings?!?! Stopped in for a craft beer this past Monday. Very friendly staff said it's wings night. Wow, great deal on Mondays. I had the Hayburner wings, medium tossed in a Hayburner wing sauce. They came out quick and were delicious. Done to perfection like you would expect in Buffalo. Attentive bartender offered us water before we even asked. I had a Kringle Juice Holiday Hazy IPA, good seasonal beer.

Stopped in to use our WNY beer trail passes. We had Nog beer which was really good and a cranberry seasonal which was also really good. It was wing night so .75 wings, we sat at the bar and the bartenders were really friendly. The wings were surprisingly really good. It was pretty busy for a Monday evening.

Came down here for a bite to eat during a meeting so service was dedicated to our party but past experience has always been spot on. Ordered the hot honey wings, they came quickly and were slathered with sauce and had a good crisp to them and quickly too I might add. The wings were A great balance of spicy/sweet and pretty decently sized too. Bleu cheese could have used a little more "chunk" to it imo. The blueberry cobbler sour, was a great beer to pair with this meal. A good mixture of sweet and sour notes with a nice heavy blueberry flavor.

Nestled alongside a river with a cabinesque vibe. Stone exterior, with wood floors, exposed brick, and large fermentation tanks on the interior. It's really quite cozy. As for food, our table shared one of their tasty dips - the elote one to be exact. Elote is delicious on its own, but in dip form with pickled red onions, fire! I could eat an entire bucket of this stuff. When it came to my main course I ordered what I call the basic girl dinner, a caesar salad and fries... but here I went with the tater tots because I was told they are heavenly. My salad was a good portion size and exactly what you want when you order a caesar. As for the tots, the amount you get is insane and they were in fact, fried to a crispy perfection. They definitely hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I can see why Yelpers in Buffalo rate this spot so high. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent flyer.

I highly recommend this spot when visiting the area... I will definitely be back my next time through.

We were given ample time for our entire party to arrive and were not rushed at all. Our waitress was wonderful. I was debating between a couple items on the menu and opted for a salad. Basically a couple pieces of lettuce on top of chopped beets under a spicy-ish hollandaise type dressing over burrata. Or I'm assuming the dressing was what was a tad spicy. However I couldn't figure it out lol. There were a couple tiny smoked peach pieces on the side...just too smoky for my taste. Would have preferred just a fresh grilled peach. Also added a side of chicken to toss on my "salad" thinking it had a whole bed of lettuce, however could have avoided ordering that had I seen a picture of this salad beforehand - so I threw that in for you all in case you're on the fence of what to order. It was fine, it tasted like uncrisp tater tots. If there was a sauce of sorts to dip it in, it would have been better besides just potato. For mains we shared two half pizzas the Fig& Pig and the Pepperoni + Honey. They were both fine, they were half sized but still didn't seem like a lot. The person I was with thought it was too much fig, but I had no problem so that is preference. Though the pork belly was mainly fat. The people with us weren't fans of their food either. They also added Truffle fries and were told it would be extra which they agreed to, but it was an additional $9 not jut 2 or 3. For the service, we assumed it was all due to the massive party but it wasn't that great. We were right in front of the bartender and our water was refilled once the entire time we were there. We also didn't get silverware and when we asked for napkins we got a single paper one. We were also at the end of the bar which is where the severs would stand or get the food which was directly next to us which was a bit annoying due to the proximity, they were as close as sitting next to us at a table. No one checked on us either thoughtout our time. Overall, the food was fine, nothing amazing. I'm assuming they get a lot of Shea's traffic which is fine if you want a drink with a snack. Seeing as I'm a Yelp-er, they wanted me to find a spot I hadn't been to yet, even though I had eaten dinner already on my own. I had The Ridge West Seneca saved in my "Places to Try" collection so I said let's go. Overall, I cannot wait to go back and grab a meal here and try the food for myself! We arrive just before 8pm on a Saturday night to a large gravel parking lot that was pretty busy, but we still found a spot pretty easily. We walked in and the hostess was able to seat the two of us at a booth right away! Inside it was very spacious with plenty of TVs going, a bar on one side, music playing overhead. Indoor noise was elevated (it's a restaurant that has a bar, it's going to not be quiet haha) but the two of us could carry on a conversation fairly normally. Our waitress came over immediately to let us know she'd be a few minutes as there were a few other tables she was handling. Fine by us as that allowed my buddy ample time to look over the menu and figure out what he wanted. I saw the St. Patrick's Day-themed cocktail specials menu so I knew what I was ordering. Our waitress though - Absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly friendly, had great personality, and was really accommodating in splitting the check (I took care of all our drinks, my friend took care of his dinner). Our waitress did a great job checking in on us at the perfect time, we never felt pressured, rushed. I didn't order any food but my friend ordered their Steakhouse Strip off the "Large Plates" section of the menu, and boy oh boy, did that look amazing! The 12-ounce strip was cooked to a picture-perfect medium-rare with plenty of tobacco onions on top and around the plate, and served over a generous bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus, served with a small cup of their A1 aioli. After seeing that, I certainly want to come back and order food. My friend really enjoyed their meal, the plate was clean! As for me, I ordered two St. Patrick's Day -themed cocktails: "Sham Rocked Shake" and "Irish Good Bye". The "Sham Rocked Shake" was vanilla vodka, crème de menthe, cream, and chocolate syrup and curls - This was creamy, delicious, not overly minty. The "Irish Good Bye" was Three Chord bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and lemon juice with a lime wedge - There was so much flavor in this cocktail, the lemon juice added a pleasant fruity 'punch'. Looking at the prices for these cocktails, I felt they were in-line with most other places and they were made well so no complaints from me. The Ridge West Seneca really surprised me! I've driven past it a few times and wondered how good it was. From our friendly waitress and service, the delicious cocktails, to the fantastic-looking food, I am impressed. I'm looking forward to coming back soon for another night of drinks and to try some food!
