Buffalo Brew Pub Complimentary Popcorn & Peanuts
    Diane H.

Started myself off with some complimentary popcorn and peanuts.Lots of lagers on the menu for the beer lover. With speedy service and a smile I received the veggie quesadilla which was soggy .Next up was the cheese pizza very thin with too much oil and not tasty. Also ordered the impossible burger which was completely burnt , like eating charcoal.Huge bar if you just want to come in and have a cocktail. Lots of free parking in their lot.

Very cute and cozy spot. It's pretty dark and the vibes are good. They have popcorn and peanuts to snack on which I loved. The popcorn was a bit stale. I had the chopped salad which was really good. It came with a Caesar vinaigrette which was really tasty. I think my salad was supposed to have egg but they forgot it lol it's okay. Good service and I imagine it gets super busy for games. Really nice.

Such a fun place to hit up after a Bills game. It's cozy and feels like home. Fun food creations kept it interesting for us as it was our 4th day in town trying local fare. A great place to thaw out and fill up, we'll be back!

I'm a rewards member so I came to get $10 off my meal at the end of my birthday month. We had a 15 minute wait for a table so I went for some free popcorn when we sat. It's quite loud in the dining room when it's full. The boyfriend got chicken fingers and I got the Santa Fe chicken salad. I would have liked to see the chicken tossed in the bbq prior to plating instead of the drizzle that was on my actual salad. Pretty light on the cheese and lots of green onions for me to pick off, as I don't like them and they weren't listed. I'd order it again though and ask for no green onion and chicken tossed. The chicken fingers were basic frozen tenders with thin battered style fries. I'd go back for happy hour dinner at the bar.

Conveniently located near the airport-11minutes away! Great service and great food! Ate beef on weck for the first time it was delicious, but was not a fan of the salt so I dusted it off the bun lol! fresh bread and the beef was tender. I ordered the Buffalo sampler which comes with 6 wings and a mini beef on weck, and I cleared my plate!! I do not drink beer but the bar had a cider for me and it was also delicious. The service at the bar was wonderful.

Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. I ate half of it before even opening the sauces! Same to be said for the Chicken, it was tender, with the perfect little hint of smoke, legit delicious! I highly recommend this spot when visiting the area... I will definitely be back my next time through.

If you also hail from a poutine-less area of the world, fear not - done well, it's a great dish. The beer was also excellent. I can see why The Black Lager is Canada's most award-winning Schwarzbier. There are some really good schwarzebiers in my city, and Silversmith's is right up there with them. I also have a Nut Brown Ale, and a small size of the Motueka, both of which I would get again. They know what they are doing with their food and drink. And the atmosphere is really good as well. The old-church-turned-brewery is beautiful. I'll let the pictures in other reviews do it justice. The service was good. It was relatively busy the night I was there, but the service was still quick enough and even a bit conversational - I recall one of the bartenders worked at Silversmith in the warmer months, and travels southeast Asia in the colder months, which is pretty cool. I would likely be a regular if I lived in the area.

There are not enough gluten free options - I had to be creative with what I ordered. We were greeted right away when we walked in, which was a great start. However, after being seated on the patio, we waited about 20 minutes before a server came over. Drinks also took quite a while to arrive. I ordered a brown sugar bourbon cocktail, but it was disappointing--basically just tasted like straight bourbon with little to no flavor. For food, I tried the Reuben poutine appetizer ($20). Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the price. The cheese seemed very processed--hard to even describe, and definitely not what I expected. The fried Reuben itself was just okay, but overall it felt overpriced for what it was. In the end, I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from trying it, but it's not somewhere I'd personally return to. The experience just didn't match the cost or leave much of a positive impression.

I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition!

Several other beers on the menu look tempting too, and they make their own pizza dough! Another plus: the owners are friendly awesome people. I am very likely to return. The inside seating area is larger than it looks like from the outside, with plenty of seating at the bar and at tables, plus an outdoor patio. Restrooms are clearly marked and easy to access.
