My friends & I were in town to celebrate a birthday. This restaurant was recommended by an employee at our hotel. They were a little busy so we got on the waiting list but only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. We got a free order of fried pickles through the yelp app. It was our first time trying them & we all thought that were good & fried well with a great amount of crispness. I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta with spinach & sun-dried tomatoes. The dish was bland & had too much cheese for my taste. My friends enjoyed their buffalo chicken wrap & onion rings. We thought that our waiter, Zsolt S. was very short with us anytime that we asked him for stuff. He was not personable & service was a little slow. They were busy so I can understand some slowness but he rarely checked on us unless we stopped him & asked for things like water, condiments, silverware etc. My friend got a free dessert for her birthday. We loved the live musician that played the guitar & sang while we ate. He was very talented. The business was large but a little loud with a combination of the patrons and being that the business is open you can hear the cars and motorcycles riding down the street on the strip. There are also tv's in the business and a large bar. The water pressure in the bathroom is really low and we thought there was only one hand dryer in there but we found another one near the door away from the sinks when you exit the bathroom. For example--did not set the table with enough silverware so when our food came out we had to wait to eat, until we could get another place setting. While visiting Niagara Falls with my Cousin from Spain we decided to head to Kelsey's for a lunch. The restaurant probably seats approximately 150 people and has a covered patio section for those who want to be outside but out of the sun. As we went on the Civic Day Long weekend, it was quite busy however the restaurant was properly staffed. We didn't have to wait long to be seated (since we were a party of 8) and our server was very on point when needed. She was also very patient and friendly. As for our food, we shared the Flat Pan Nachos and added the Beef Chilli and Large Buffalo Chicken Wings. The Nachos was massive and as it says in the menu...serves 6...that's absolutely true! The Buffalo Chicken Wings heavy on the sauce however it was nicely cooked and the wings were still crispy under all the sauce. The sauce had the tangy taste which I like. As for our meals my sister and I each ordered the Grilled Chicken, Beat and Goat Cheese Salad which was was nice and light for a hot summer day at Niagara Falls. For the test of our party, they ordered the All-Day Breakfast Burger, the Bourbon BBQ Lightlife Burger, the Buffalo Finger Budget and the Salt and Vinny Fish Burger. We had some family that came from overseas to visit us so naturally we take visitors over to Niagara Falls and ended up having a bite here at Kelsey's. The restaurant offers both inside and patio seating and they are just located on the corner of Clifton Hill can't be missed. Pricing is the same as all Kelsey's across the board very reasonable especially in a tourist area like The Falls. The food itself was wonderfully tasty as expected from Kelsey's. On the weekends they have a live band playing and the place is usually jammed with people inside and out. I found that all the staff here are very friendly and willing to help out. We ordered a bunch of food to share and also individual plates. Most memorable was the Nacho's, holy geez that thing was huge like the platter it comes out has it's own stand because it won't fit on the table without you needing to move your plates on to another table. Great to share with 4 people or more. The wings were delicious as well can't really go wrong with these bad boys either. Overall I think this is not a bad place to grab a bite especially when you have bigger groups with you, the smaller restaurants that are not big box have limited seating and are usually busy as well. read more

Fell into this little treat after a hard round of killing everyone at Mini Golf, yes the champ went 3 under par (no biggie) and worked up an appetite for some beer! The beer selection is very good and for a chain restaurant they actually served it crisp and cold and in a cold glass - it was the things dreams are made of on a hot summers day. In addition to this me and the group of golfing losers also shared some of the apps all of which were great...we had the salt and vinegar shrimp which was surprisingly good, the nachos were good enough and the calamari was great. The server was great. The price is high, but was expected at a tourist attraction area. The place is pretty clean. BUT. We ordered Chicken Parm and an appetizer of fried shrimp. The shrimp was like $15 for five shrimps. But at least it was hot and flavorful. Wish I can say the same to their Chicken Parm. It was 11:00 pm and only a few tables are occupied but we still waited for over 30 minutes for our dish to come. The sauce was blend, pasta was Luke warm, and hard to bite. Spoke with the waitress and she's nice enough to ask kitchen for a redo, with a different kind of noodle. After another 20 minutes the new dish came with exactly same result. We asked to speak with manager and he told me that the pasta has been cooked exactly the way it supposed to be. I am no expert but that is NOT now a pasta should taste like. The food took forever to come out of the kitchen. When it arrived, it was burnt, too salty, and dry.

We came here with an 11 man group at about 12:00 pm and the timeline went a little like this 20 minutes in we had not spoken to a waiter after being seated, 30 minutes in we finally got to place a drink order which included about half alcohol beverages and half water at about the 45 minute mark we still had not received our waters after asking multiple times so we had to go to the bar and serve our selfs waters and about an hour in our original water order and drinks came with our food following around 5 minutes after that. When the food arrived we realized we were never given silverware and had to go grab all our own silverware. I ordered the chicken nachos which were lukewarm/cold and a friend ordered a bacon burger that was also cold. Everything else was fine and we were starving by this point so most people ate their food quickly. When we brought all this up to the manager (who was extremely rude and confrontational) she told us that they had a transition and that was the reason for the slow service. When confronted about us having to grab our own drinks and silverware she said "I'm not dealing with this today" walked off. Kelsey's seems to be a popular chain restaurant here in Ontario. We ended up for dinner on Thursday night. We were seated at a booth not far from the extended outdoor area. The restaurant has really nice artistic designs on the wall and modern decor. There was also a nice band playing live music. Our hostess and waitress was very welcoming and friendly. The service was great! They have a good variety of items on the menu. We ordered drinks and I ordered the pomegranate Passion Fruit sangria. Didn't pay attention to the size but this drink is huge but good. Definitely can be shared or you can indulge your own. For appetizers we ordered the calamari and the buffalo cauliflower bites. The calamari was chewy. Probably frozen calamari. We notified our waitress and she was delightful and suggested we either reorder or switch and we ordered something else. We went with the three cheese spinach dip. This wasn't bad but it didn't have enough spinach, too much cream cheese base and I was expecting chips, not baked bread pieces (which Is quite filling). One person ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and she enjoyed them but couldn't eat all. I ended up ordering the snack size of wings with sweet chili sauce. Large menu with some interesting options. The pictures look great and everything on the menu sounds good. Overall, we weren't that impressed with the dishes we ordered. They weren't horrible and there was nothing wrong with them. We just wouldn't come out of our way to eat here. It did fill us up and sent us on our way but it wasn't outstanding. The service wasn't as bad as some other reviews but it was pretty slow. The waitress apologized and the appetizers only came out about 2 minutes before our meals. On a visit to Niagara Falls, we were looking for a nice lunch place with good food at decent prices, unlike a lot of the restaurants on Clifton Hill. Kelsey's location is very convenient, the staff was friendly and polite. The decor a little dated but clean. The food was just average, the price not so much. I ordered the salt and pepper wings and although the flavor was good the wings were quite small. My wife had the buttered chicken fingers and fries. The gravy was really good, the chicken was well cooked but nothing special. We also had 2 sodas and the check with tip was $49. Overall there are much better options close by. read more

Two days ago was my first time here and it won't be my last! I took my 10 year old son to Clifton hill for his birthday and after showing him a menu from online he agreed to eat here (had to talk him out of the typical rainforest cafe kids love). The restaurant was very busy, but there is so much seating inside and out that we were still seated right away. You can eat indoors, indoors but next to a completely open area to the outside, totally outside, or at the bar. We got a perfect table indoors, but with the open view of Clifton hill which was really nice. It sits up higher than the street so you don't have people walking right by you and looking at you or the food. We started off with the 4 cheese spinach dip and fries pita chips. It was ssooooo good! Some of the best I ever had! My son and I were actually full from this lol, but we certainly came to be gluttons! My son's entree was the Doritos chicken fingers with mashed potatoes. I had the BBQ chicken BLT with Cesar salad. Everything was very good! In fact, when the waitress came to ask if everything was ok, my son replied "oh it's better than ok!" LOL Lastly, we shared a piece of cheesecake which was just as tasty as everything else. We were stuffed to the max but we managed to finish this slice of heaven. If you sign up for their roadhouse club, you get perks such as the 4 cheese spinach dip with pita chips as a free appetizer for signing up, as well as the free cheesecake for your birthday! There is a limited time to use these though. Don't sign up if you don't plan on going within the next week or so. With all of our drinks, free app and dessert, 2 entrees, and a 20% tip .. paying with American debit card .. I only had to pay $41 and a $1.35 foreign transaction fee for all of that! AWESOMEEEE!! Service was good too .. very nice waitress and food came out timely. Food was just okay, typical touristy place.(and we're tourists). Walking around clifton hill after a jam packed day of sightseeing, the outside of this place looked typical. Was hoping for a step above a chain restaurant. Ordered the bacon mushroom grilled cheese. Simple enough. Bread was dry, most definitely NOT enough cheese, 1 slice of bacon per section (really?!?!!). I felt like i was eating dry toast... Side caesar had a couple drops of dressing. The other couples had similar complaints, like everything was just missing that little bit extra. Kids chicken tenders were the tastiest thing we had. Other than the dessert. Butter tart. That was tasty.... Our server was super nice, personable. I visited this place when I was in Niagara Falls for a one day trip. The place serves Canadian food and is located in Clifton Hill which is one of the prime locations in Niagara Falls. Food - I ordered a Veggie Quesadilla along with a side of French Fries. The presentation was good and so do the portion size. The quesadilla was full of cheese along with veggies such as onion and tomato. It was served with salsa and sour cream. The taste was quite good for both the items but I felt French Fries was a little salty. Ambience - The place has a pretty ambience and nice music. The place is huge and can easily accommodate a good number of people. It's perfect for a great lunch. Service - The staff is very much welcoming , polite and courteous. Waste of money. Food was horrible, only reason it is open is because of the location. Extremely dry food, nachos were dryer and harder than the tray it was served on. Only thing that could rival the hardness was the hand held beef sandwich. I'm pretty sure I cut the inside of my mouth after taking a bite. I guess maybe the other things were good.
