Came here for lunch today after seeing the long line of people waiting to get in the night before. Surely we thought it had to be good!Unfortunately that was not the case. To begin, there were about 6 staff members working the front. They all gave off the impression that they didn't want to be there through short answers to questions and being unresponsive. When we were seated, our waiter was very very nice and gave us multiple recommendations on what to do and where to go while we were in Niagara. This definitely made up for the front desk being rude. We ordered the spinach and cheese dip to start with baked pita, a 10 count of wings with honey garlic and bbq sauce, and a side Caesar salad. The spinach and cheese dip itself was good (the highlight of the entire meal), but the pita bread seemed like it had been over baked as it was very hard and crunchy. The wings were probably the tiniest wings I had ever been served before. They definitely are not worth the $20.48 price tag. And the Caesar salad was very plain and seemed like it had just been thrown together quickly in the back. I felt as if this restaurant was a little over priced for the food that was served to us. read more

I'm not sure where to begin. I like the ambiance and our server was really nice. Unfortunately, there was a bee in my frozen drink, which was not really a big deal and I wanted to just order a beer instead. When the appetizer was dropped off by a different server I told her that there was a bee in my drink and she didn't let me finish what I wanted to say and proceeded to tell me there are bees everywhere and pretty much acted and spoke as if bees in a drink is the norm. After telling her I understand that and it was not like the bee just flew in my drink It was cut in half and it obvious that it was mixed in when the drink was made. She got upset and couldn't understand what the big deal was. I told her the big deal was her attitude. So we decided to leave and go across the street to the works for a burger and service was 100 times much better. I did apologize to our server who was super nice but her so called manager left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Meh. Too loud. Service was mediocre. Food was cold and took far too long. Nachos and a kids spaghetti took over an hour to get. This place is overrated. It's only plus is that it's conveniently located. read more

Food was awesome and the decor was very pleasing. But what really elevated the experience for me was the service. I had the pleasure of being attended by Haley. She was a consummate professional and made the dining experience all the better. Exceptional service is hard to come by these days, but Haley made me believe that such professionalism definitely exists. Thank you to Haley and the entire staff at Kelseys. I will most definitely return to this establishment. Thank you for the memories! read more

Was in town for New Year weekend and settled here for lunch. Was greeted and seated promptly, our server was fantastic, the service was really good. The restaurant and our table were clean. Order: Broccoli & Cheddar Soup, Fish and Chips, Goat Cheese and & Beet Salad with Grilled Chicken, Wings (Medium Sauce) with Poutine, Kids Cheese Pizza, Patty Melt with Fries. No disappointments, everything was solid. It's a fairly large location with many tables and able to accommodate large groups. Would recommend. read more

Kelsey's sits atop a hill, ascending (literally and figuratively) above the scrappy rabble of "uptown" Niagara Falls Canada. Walking around this place is a trip! In the first couple floors of every building, there's a freak show trying to out-freak the place next door. But Kelsey's is no freak. They may have super freak ladies on staff, but that is for another day. What is freaky is how hard it is to find Molson on tap in Canada. Not in the downtown bars in Toronto, not at the Sky Dome where the Blue Jays play...WTF (aka "What The Freak)?! Years back when USA inflicted Bud and Miller and Genesee Cream Ale (kid you not) on its citizens, Molson was like the rich neighbor with all the latest toys (and super freaks), and it was everywhere, even sponsoring Hockey Night in Canada. Today you can find it at Kelsey's, as did I. read more

Only got four stars bc it was open late on a Friday. We were traveling and got to Niagara very late 12:30am and wanted a bite to eat. The Clifton Hills restaurants are open late on the weekends. The place is conveniently place at the corner of Clifton Hill & Victoria Ave. It's a huge place, with a long bar and plenty of tables. TV screens all al g the Bar A 15 min wait at peak dinner time was not too bad. I had Ribs & Wings, Rice,Slaw & Molson, nice warm meal after a drive and before the show. The ribs were a bit over cooked. The Wings were good. A bit overpriced, but open and full of hungry tourists. Service was friendly and nice. read more

This was the worst experience I have had in a long time. The waitress was pleasant until I had a complaint about the burger I ordered. After that, she was rude and unhelpful ignoring our attempts to get her attention. We were NOT rude to her at all and did not appreciate how she treated us. When we ordered my burger my husband very politely asked that it be well done because the last time we came it was all pink inside. She said all meat has to be prepared well done now. When she served the burger it was lukewarm and had pink blotches on the inside. She tried to argue about this when I showed her then said she would have them fix it but at NO TIME did she apologize which i find very rude and offensive. the second burger was served by someone else who put it on the table and walked away without saying a word. I know anyone can make a mistake but I don't appreciate being treated so badly especially from someone that expects a tip!!! Very disappointed. You might not care as I am only one customer but she must be treating others badly when they have the nerve to complain. We were never rude or unkind to her and should have received the same courtesy !!!! read more

My friends & I were in town to celebrate a birthday. This restaurant was recommended by an employee at our hotel. They were a little busy so we got on the waiting list but only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. We got a free order of fried pickles through the yelp app. It was our first time trying them & we all thought that were good & fried well with a great amount of crispness. I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta with spinach & sun-dried tomatoes. The dish was bland & had too much cheese for my taste. My friends enjoyed their buffalo chicken wrap & onion rings. We thought that our waiter, Zsolt S. was very short with us anytime that we asked him for stuff. He was not personable & service was a little slow. They were busy so I can understand some slowness but he rarely checked on us unless we stopped him & asked for things like water, condiments, silverware etc. My friend got a free dessert for her birthday. We loved the live musician that played the guitar & sang while we ate. He was very talented. The business was large but a little loud with a combination of the patrons and being that the business is open you can hear the cars and motorcycles riding down the street on the strip. There are also tv's in the business and a large bar. The water pressure in the bathroom is really low and we thought there was only one hand dryer in there but we found another one near the door away from the sinks when you exit the bathroom. Based upon this experience I wouldn't return or recommend this business to anyone. read more

Food was awful. After waiting 15 minutes to get drinks waited another hour for food. When our food did come out it was cold. Fries tasted like sitting for an hour and the cheese on burgers wasn't even melted to the burger. Service was awful after getting drinks 15 minutes after sitting another girl came over to let us know that our waiter's shift ended and she was taking over. I get shifts change but in the middle of service you should finish the table till it's completed. I don't like saying anything to wait staff but when food came out everything cold they said they would bring fresh fries out which in the final bill they billed us for sides of fries which manager had to fix. Never will I return to this place. read more

After a hot day of walking around to all the attractions in the Clifton Hill area, we were starving and saw they had patio seating, so we stopped in here for lunch and drinks. Of course the GIANT mason jar cocktails grabbed my eye... so I had to get one. I had their fish and chips for lunch. I was pretty happy with my decision. I came here because I really liked the patio and that was the only thing I enjoyed here. The wings are super small, scrawny and underdeveloped. Barely any meat in them at all and they're hard. I had the lemon pepper and the honey garlic. I also got a side Caesar salad and that was one of if not the most pathetic excuse of a salad I've ever had. I got a strawberry margarita and couldn't even drink it because it was so sweet and full of syrup. I'd have been better off ordering strawberry lemonade. It's all a no for me read more

Friendly staff. We had the nachos and added the seasoned ground beef. They were ok, not a lot of meat added. Drinks were reasonably priced compared to what we are used to. Decided to go here for dinner, waited for about 20 min. We got sat in a booth, the service was good. But when it came to the food, it didn't impress. I got the steak and cheese stack which was basically a quesadilla. The tortilla and everything inside was dry. The steak was dry and chewy. The rice was bland, it all seemed boring and not appetizing. I had to add salsa and guacamole to it. read more

While visiting Niagara Falls with my Cousin from Spain we decided to head to Kelsey's for a lunch. The restaurant probably seats approximately 150 people and has a covered patio section for those who want to be outside but out of the sun. As we went on the Civic Day Long weekend, it was quite busy however the restaurant was properly staffed. We didn't have to wait long to be seated (since we were a party of 8) and our server was very on point when needed. She was also very patient and friendly. As for our food, we shared the Flat Pan Nachos and added the Beef Chilli and Large Buffalo Chicken Wings. The Nachos was massive and as it says in the menu...serves 6...that's absolutely true! The Buffalo Chicken Wings heavy on the sauce however it was nicely cooked and the wings were still crispy under all the sauce. The sauce had the tangy taste which I like. As for our meals my sister and I each ordered the Grilled Chicken, Beat and Goat Cheese Salad which was was nice and light for a hot summer day at Niagara Falls. For the test of our party, they ordered the All-Day Breakfast Burger, the Bourbon BBQ Lightlife Burger, the Buffalo Finger Budget and the Salt and Vinny Fish Burger. All of the Burger servings were quite large. On top of all that, everyone loved their burgers as the meats were very juicy that their all polished their plates cleaned. read more

We had some family that came from overseas to visit us so naturally we take visitors over to Niagara Falls and ended up having a bite here at Kelsey's. The restaurant offers both inside and patio seating and they are just located on the corner of Clifton Hill can't be missed. Pricing is the same as all Kelsey's across the board very reasonable especially in a tourist area like The Falls. The food itself was wonderfully tasty as expected from Kelsey's. On the weekends they have a live band playing and the place is usually jammed with people inside and out. I found that all the staff here are very friendly and willing to help out. We ordered a bunch of food to share and also individual plates. Most memorable was the Nacho's, holy geez that thing was huge like the platter it comes out has it's own stand because it won't fit on the table without you needing to move your plates on to another table. Great to share with 4 people or more. The wings were delicious as well can't really go wrong with these bad boys either. Overall I think this is not a bad place to grab a bite especially when you have bigger groups with you, the smaller restaurants that are not big box have limited seating and are usually busy as well. read more

Food and drinks were delicious. Great atmosphere. Staff was professional. Our server john was the GOAT.

Fell into this little treat after a hard round of killing everyone at Mini Golf, yes the champ went 3 under par (no biggie) and worked up an appetite for some beer! The beer selection is very good and for a chain restaurant they actually served it crisp and cold and in a cold glass - it was the things dreams are made of on a hot summers day. In addition to this me and the group of golfing losers also shared some of the apps all of which were great...we had the salt and vinegar shrimp which was surprisingly good, the nachos were good enough and the calamari was great. Live music too outside so it's definitely worth a top on the hill. PS - It's a hill so you have to take a pit stop... read more

Don't waste your time or money on this establishment. Service, was poor, food was even worse. For example--did not set the table with enough silverware so when our food came out we had to wait to eat, until we could get another place setting. When our wings were delivered to the table the waitress did not bring out wet naps or extra napkins, nor extra plates (for discarded bones). Lastly, my salad was so overly dressed I could not finish the bottom half (dressing pooled at bottom of plate). When I mentioned to the waitress, she laughed and said, " yeah, that's how it's prepared." read more

The server was great. The price is high, but was expected at a tourist attraction area. The place is pretty clean. BUT. We ordered Chicken Parm and an appetizer of fried shrimp. The shrimp was like $15 for five shrimps. But at least it was hot and flavorful. Wish I can say the same to their Chicken Parm. It was 11:00 pm and only a few tables are occupied but we still waited for over 30 minutes for our dish to come. The sauce was blend, pasta was Luke warm, and hard to bite. Spoke with the waitress and she's nice enough to ask kitchen for a redo, with a different kind of noodle. After another 20 minutes the new dish came with exactly same result. We asked to speak with manager and he told me that the pasta has been cooked exactly the way it supposed to be. I am no expert but that is NOT now a pasta should taste like. Sorry but I just can't recommend this place read more

Kelsey's seems to be a popular chain restaurant here in Ontario. We ended up for dinner on Thursday night. We were seated at a booth not far from the extended outdoor area. The restaurant has really nice artistic designs on the wall and modern decor. There was also a nice band playing live music. Our hostess and waitress was very welcoming and friendly. The service was great! They have a good variety of items on the menu. We ordered drinks and I ordered the pomegranate Passion Fruit sangria. Didn't pay attention to the size but this drink is huge but good. Definitely can be shared or you can indulge your own. For appetizers we ordered the calamari and the buffalo cauliflower bites. The calamari was chewy. Probably frozen calamari. We notified our waitress and she was delightful and suggested we either reorder or switch and we ordered something else. We went with the three cheese spinach dip. This wasn't bad but it didn't have enough spinach, too much cream cheese base and I was expecting chips, not baked bread pieces (which Is quite filling). One person ordered 1/2 rack of ribs and she enjoyed them but couldn't eat all. I ended up ordering the snack size of wings with sweet chili sauce. Let me tell you that you can never go wrong with tasty wings!!! read more

Large menu with some interesting options. The pictures look great and everything on the menu sounds good. Overall, we weren't that impressed with the dishes we ordered. They weren't horrible and there was nothing wrong with them. We just wouldn't come out of our way to eat here. It did fill us up and sent us on our way but it wasn't outstanding. The service wasn't as bad as some other reviews but it was pretty slow. The waitress apologized and the appetizers only came out about 2 minutes before our meals. The food took forever to come out of the kitchen. When it arrived, it was burnt, too salty, and dry.

We came here with an 11 man group at about 12:00 pm and the timeline went a little like this 20 minutes in we had not spoken to a waiter after being seated, 30 minutes in we finally got to place a drink order which included about half alcohol beverages and half water at about the 45 minute mark we still had not received our waters after asking multiple times so we had to go to the bar and serve our selfs waters and about an hour in our original water order and drinks came with our food following around 5 minutes after that. When the food arrived we realized we were never given silverware and had to go grab all our own silverware. I ordered the chicken nachos which were lukewarm/cold and a friend ordered a bacon burger that was also cold. Everything else was fine and we were starving by this point so most people ate their food quickly. When we brought all this up to the manager (who was extremely rude and confrontational) she told us that they had a transition and that was the reason for the slow service. When confronted about us having to grab our own drinks and silverware she said "I'm not dealing with this today" walked off. Our waiter than came back out and gave us 25% off (our waiter was very nice and shouldn't be blamed for this but the manager is not someone I'd ever want to give a dime of my money too) read more

On a visit to Niagara Falls, we were looking for a nice lunch place with good food at decent prices, unlike a lot of the restaurants on Clifton Hill. Our waitress was welcoming and helpful right from the start. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas with a side house salad. The presentation was wonderful and the meal was delicious too! The only thing is, I wish they offered whole wheat tortillas. My friend's balsamic dish came with some yummy sweet potato fries as well :) The place was clean and seemed like a popular late lunch spot. Decent eats and chill atmosphere. Came here from NJ. This place was decent, I wouldn't say this place was a the best but it's in the same category as Applebees. There was live entertainment which was cool. Half of the place were exposed to the outside. Staff was curteous. This place as well as the area has a lot of Indian influences. CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN: 9/10 PROS - Tasted very good, especially the sauce! The plate looked plentiful for the price. CONS - Although there was plenty on the plate, it was mostly garnished. The chicken was a little bit bigger than an uncooked burger patty. Not sure if it was worth $16 US. CHICKEN FRIED BUTTER CHICKEN: 9/10 PROS - Tasted great, the butta sauce was on point. Liked that there was chopped onions and tomatoes in the sauce. The plate was colorful with the veggies and sweet potatoe fries. Lots to eat. CONS - Again, same with the first, there a lot more to eat but most were fluff to make the dish look plenty. You can argue if it was worth $16 US. PASSION FRUIT SANGRIA: 10/10 PROS: Alot to drink and very good. Thirsty af. CONS: Not the very best I ever had but good. read more

We stopped in here to warm up during our evening jaunt around Niagara Falls. The boys, as always, were ok with beer! We wanted something warm so asked for a hot toddy. Nope, can't make that. Ok how about an Irish Coffee? One bartender told us she couldn't make it. Sigh.. fine. Give us a minute to look at the cocktail menu. Then another server came over and said, I can make you a hot coffee drink (coffee and Bailey's)... wait. Isn't that basically an Irish Coffee? Hmm.. All in all the drink was ok. Interesting to watch the bartenders here as everything is measured out. Each gin and tonic gets the exact same amount of gin, etc. NO heavy pours here! lol Can't speak to the food. I hear the place is hopping in the summer time. Might try it again in warmer weather... who knows! read more
