Kelsey's location is very convenient, the staff was friendly and polite. The decor a little dated but clean. The food was just average, the price not so much. I ordered the salt and pepper wings and although the flavor was good the wings were quite small. My wife had the buttered chicken fingers and fries. The gravy was really good, the chicken was well cooked but nothing special. We also had 2 sodas and the check with tip was $49. Overall there are much better options close by. read more

No flavor and food service was slow no parking spaces at all other but the food portions were pretty big for a kids meal

1. This restaurant sits among a heavy flow of tourist traffic! The prices are going to be higher - that's what you should expect everywhere in this area. 2. The place is extremely clean, very modernized, and has an abundance of staff who were all friendly! 3. We sat at the indoor/outdoor bar area and enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and a live acoustic performance from two gentleman who were outstanding !!! Honestly, they are what kept us ordering more drinks. 4. The food is good - nothing spectacular but, again, we knew what we were paying for. I would definitely go again if I were in the area! read more

Two days ago was my first time here and it won't be my last! I took my 10 year old son to Clifton hill for his birthday and after showing him a menu from online he agreed to eat here (had to talk him out of the typical rainforest cafe kids love). The restaurant was very busy, but there is so much seating inside and out that we were still seated right away. You can eat indoors, indoors but next to a completely open area to the outside, totally outside, or at the bar. We got a perfect table indoors, but with the open view of Clifton hill which was really nice. It sits up higher than the street so you don't have people walking right by you and looking at you or the food. We started off with the 4 cheese spinach dip and fries pita chips. It was ssooooo good! Some of the best I ever had! My son and I were actually full from this lol, but we certainly came to be gluttons! My son's entree was the Doritos chicken fingers with mashed potatoes. I had the BBQ chicken BLT with Cesar salad. Everything was very good! In fact, when the waitress came to ask if everything was ok, my son replied "oh it's better than ok!" LOL Lastly, we shared a piece of cheesecake which was just as tasty as everything else. We were stuffed to the max but we managed to finish this slice of heaven. If you sign up for their roadhouse club, you get perks such as the 4 cheese spinach dip with pita chips as a free appetizer for signing up, as well as the free cheesecake for your birthday! There is a limited time to use these though. Don't sign up if you don't plan on going within the next week or so. With all of our drinks, free app and dessert, 2 entrees, and a 20% tip .. paying with American debit card .. I only had to pay $41 and a $1.35 foreign transaction fee for all of that! AWESOMEEEE!! Service was good too .. very nice waitress and food came out timely. The only thing that took a little longer was the slice of cheesecake but with the nice view and stuffed bellies we didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes. read more

Food was just okay, typical touristy place.(and we're tourists). Walking around clifton hill after a jam packed day of sightseeing, the outside of this place looked typical. Was hoping for a step above a chain restaurant. Ordered the bacon mushroom grilled cheese. Simple enough. Bread was dry, most definitely NOT enough cheese, 1 slice of bacon per section (really?!?!!). I felt like i was eating dry toast... Side caesar had a couple drops of dressing. The other couples had similar complaints, like everything was just missing that little bit extra. Kids chicken tenders were the tastiest thing we had. Other than the dessert. Butter tart. That was tasty.... Our server was super nice, personable. Maybe my expectations were too high or i was just extra hangry, but, seriously, how can you mess up a grilled cheese? read more

All we did was split a burger and it was still $20. Geez. But it was a tasty thanksgiving style turkey burger so at least it was good. Service was attentive and there were many options on the menu. I would say it was a good place but maybe there would be something better further from the falls action. read more

There have best and delicious food and nice service in this restaurant, we will come back again.

I visited this place when I was in Niagara Falls for a one day trip. The place serves Canadian food and is located in Clifton Hill which is one of the prime locations in Niagara Falls. Food - I ordered a Veggie Quesadilla along with a side of French Fries. The presentation was good and so do the portion size. The quesadilla was full of cheese along with veggies such as onion and tomato. It was served with salsa and sour cream. The taste was quite good for both the items but I felt French Fries was a little salty. Ambience - The place has a pretty ambience and nice music. The place is huge and can easily accommodate a good number of people. It's perfect for a great lunch. Service - The staff is very much welcoming , polite and courteous. They are very well trained and knows how to strike a good conversation as well. I felt the service was top notch. Overall, I had a good time visiting this place. read more

Waste of money. Food was horrible, only reason it is open is because of the location. Extremely dry food, nachos were dryer and harder than the tray it was served on. Only thing that could rival the hardness was the hand held beef sandwich. I'm pretty sure I cut the inside of my mouth after taking a bite. I guess maybe the other things were good. But stay away from what I ordered. Just go to any other restaurant. You have lots to choose from. read more

My friend, Gina, and I were in Niagara Falls for the OPG Festival of Lights in Ontario tonight. All that walking around in the cold, crisp Winter air made us hungry, so we asked the parking attendant for suggestions. He recommended this place. We got quite the workout needing to walk up to the top of Clifton Hill to get here! Our waiter, John, was great, very friendly and informative about the area and what & how to order from the menu. What a great way to end our adventure together! read more

Kelsey's was the perfect casual dinner for us on our weekend trip to Niagara Falls! It's a very cool vibe, huge restaurant with a large menu. We tried the spinach dip appetizer to start because our waitress told us it was a popular dish and it did not disappoint! I had the sirloin entree and my boyfriend has the balsamic chicken and both were delicious. Our waitress was great, checking with us to see how our food was and if we needed anything. I'd love to go back some day! read more

Presentation of food was great, so one star for that! Two stars for the performer who was playin the guitar as we ate. But the fish tacos were basic and flavorless. The tacos had more lettuce than anything and it was filled with cream. I paid around $16 to eat two small pieces of fish. Wouldn't recommend the tacos. read more

Usually, this place is super packed and the line up is outside on the sidewalk, it really depends on what time you grab dinner and I find that making reservations really doesn't matter because they are still clearing up tables and making you wait awhile. We came here with my cousin and his family, were seated after 10 minutes. They have the nicest patio in Niagara Falls with live music entertainment and the food is always amazing here. The price is a bit more expensive than any other Kelsey's but so is everything else here. I love their spinach dip, we ordered two for the table and it seems like the second one was just leftover from the first dip. It was like HALF the proportion of the first dip which was super disappointing. My cousin ordered a full platter of Nachos and shared it with my hubby, let's just say they were defeated by the Nachos. A full order is appropriate for a whole table, a half for two people. They died right after. Their caesars were one of my favs at Kelsey's. Service was alright. The girl hardly checked upon us for refills and napkins. Happy eating and drinking fellow yelpers! read more

Stopped by this location a year and a half ago one summer night with the lads because we were not feeling the service at Boston Pizza down the street. The overall atmosphere in Kelseys was vibrant and welcoming. They have an outdoor patio with lights that make the experience quite warming. There was no live music the night we went unfortunately. We ordered a few appetizers and drinks. Unfortunately, they did not have margaritas on the menu. However, the wonderful gentlemen who was serving us made an exception. Made me not only 1 but 2 mango margaritas for the night. Service was excellent. read more

How is this place getting good reviews? I can agree with everyone else who gave this place 1-2 stars. My friends and I (a group of 4), came on a Sunday night. It was somewhat busy, because it was during Victoria Day weekend. The service was so bad!! I think this is the worst location I've been to. We got seated and waited about 25 minutes until we got asked if we were ready to order. After ordering, our food took about 30 minutes, and it wasn't even great. It satisfied our hunger but I wouldn't come here for a meal if we're back in the area. We didn't get asked ONCE how we were doing, yet our waitress came after so long (probably noticed we were done), brang the machine for us to pay and started complimenting and sucking up. Why, because you wanted a good tip?! Never coming back. read more

This place is comparable to a Tavern in the Square in the United States. The vibe was a young to early 30s hangout. A few friends and I went on a Saturday night while in the area. Live music, large bar sitting area with sports channels turned on. This place is extremely spacious with round tables for sit downs also. Our sever was quick and friendly and knew exactly what to suggest. Food review: The food wasn't phenomenal but expected for a setting like this. I got the maple salmon since Canada is known for their maple syrup, I figured I'd try a semi local dish. The salmon seasoning was surprisingly good with a hint of Canadian maple syrup but not too overwhelming. Unfortunately the salmon was a little on the dry side. Originally the dish came with white rice but I substituted for the mashed potatoes instead since I'm not a rice fan, that may have been a poor mistake since the mashed potatoes were way to salty, either due to the butter or them just putting way too much salt. Summary: Our server was really helpful and attentive but food was slightly disappointing. read more

After a long walk on Niagara fall and the strip next to it, we came to Kelsey's for a dinner. Pretty tired asked if we can sit outside in the patio. The young girl hostess was pretty unpleasant and although they had over 3 open tables for some reason which I am not sure why decided to not sit us and told us to come back in 30 to 45 min. We ended up walking for 10 min and came back and decided to give it another try before heading back to the car, another hostess and she sat us on one of the tables that were empty and the other 2 3 tables were still empty. Our waiter Patric was super helpful and friendly and this 4 star review is mainly for him. He offered a superstar service and we all loved the energy. The location is right on the strip and has a nice view of the street from the patio. The food is ok, and they have a lot of options for food and drinks. read more

Happy Birthday Canada. So we came a group of us here for a quick dinner. The food has gotten better from a few years ago. The big bonus was the service here. Our waiter was amazing. She took care of our group. Anything and everything. The fish taco's were great. Kids meals were finished. Chicken tenders were nice and crispy. Don't know what else to say. But if you need a meal in Niagara Falls they are worth a go with the friends or family. read more

The very friendly server was the only thing that didn't make this a complete nightmare. The location is great and the restaurant is nice but it's the worst steak I've ever had. I ordered it medium and it came out well done so I had them redo it and it was still so tough I couldn't eat it and threw it away. It was a very low quality steak so maybe try something else! The baked potato was under cooked both times as well. The drinks aren't very strong but I've noticed that at most places in Canada (even when you order a double it's less than what you get in US). I felt like everything was a complete waste of money and I'd been better off at Burger King across the street. read more

The volume of their speakers for the live band is too loud for any conversation. Seems like a gimmick to attract customers from afar that I fell for, but I regretted it once I sat down. You're better off sitting inside if you want to enjoy the music as well as the conversation of your company. The tables, seats, and menus aren't clean. All the crumbs and ick on the menu will make you want to wash your hands with soap after ordering. (Because let's be real, average people don't wash their hands right before eating a burger out at a restaurant.) Our server was friendly-- he gave us recommendations for sights in the area as well as Toronto. So we tipped him well, but I wouldn't come back without Lysol. read more

Bruh ... if I could give them a .5 rating.... I WOULD.... that ".5" will only be for the waitress who was working hard serving us. The food!!! I wish I had pictures... I had a group of friends and we decided to go here because we were starving and it was late (midnight) Everything on the menu looked great!! We ordered the Nachos, Wings, Messy Fish, chicken potato skins, and Tai Curry bowl ! My friends had NO COMPLAINTS on the Nachos and wings. There food was great!!! BUT... everything else.. Disgusting! I ordered the Messy Fish... my expectation was entirely too high... It was tasteless and hard. The crust and cole slaw was BLAND... I also had more hard (not crunchy or crispy) but HARD TO EAT crust than actual fish. I could barely taste the tarter sauce and the fish didn't taste fresh. I end up eating a few bites and saying fuck it. I ate the fries and left it alone... The messy fish was suppose to be the popular item. That's the reason why i choose it but I was very disappointed! Tai Curry Bowl- my friend sent back her meal ASAP. The noodles was hard and sticking together like it was packaged ramon. It was so disgusting that she actually spit out her food! Chicken Potato Skins- was decent until my friend found hair in her food. She stopped eating once she found black hair in her food. It was obviously not hers because her hair is light brown! I wish I had before and after pictures. Again, we were so hungry that we just started eating and everything went down hill from there. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. I would recommend to go somewhere else! read more

Fantastic service and food, we came to town for one night and ate here twice it was so enjoyable

1 star for the incredibly rude hostess. Would rate lower if an option, the atmosphere is good with open seating towards street/attraction activity, unfortunately does not make up for the horrible rudeness and attitude received from the hostess. read more

Overall, I am not usually a fan of Kelsey's, or others like it. The classic chain of cheaply made white-catered food doesn't do much more for me personally. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the Kelsey's on Clifton Hill. The look of the restaurant is light years ahead of other locations. It's a lot more rustic looking while still being cutting edge. Dare I say it, it is bordering the line of hipster, but in the best way possible! I ordered the Doritos Cool Ranch Chicken Fingers (I was feeling adventurous and 14 all at the same time!). The batter was nice and hearty, but perhaps a little to thickly laid on at some points. The spicy sauce they drizzled on top of the fingers was yummy; I wish it came as a dip instead, because it was so good and would've helped the sometime-too-dry chicken fingers. Either way, they were good, but I will likely try something new next time. Do you want to get white girl wasted? You'll love this cotton candy drink. No seriously. It's a dangerous creation: delicious, no taste of alcohol in site, and easy to drink. Oopsie. My boyfriend got the Whiskey Sour, which was also delicious. read more

I never write reviews but this time I had to. The food was bad , the service was bad, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The poutine was straight dog food. I was very disappointed with the quality of food I received at Kelsey's. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings and they were extremely dry, over cooked and tiny. Food here is similar to chain restaurants like Fridays & chili's . The food and drinks are underwhelming to say the least. Ordered the rib and wing combo and I would say it was just ok. Wife had chicken, beat and goat cheese salad and was not satisfied. I wish I posted this review earlier, as I can't remember what my kids had but they didn't touch it. Our drinks from the bar was extremely weak. We had the 4 berry frozen mojito and pomegranate passion fruit. The mojito had berry flavor, but no alcohol and wasn't too frozen. The saving grace for Kelseys was the cool vibe and live performance. The bar had a bunch of large screens for sporting events. The bar menu looked good, but then again the drinks weren't good. Since this is a chain, I won't need to go to another Kelseys. read more

We sat down and waited for drinks. They brought us a pitcher of water, then dropped the glasses in stacks where we had to hand them out to each other. Then we waited for the appetizers. And waited for our food. And waited. And waited. It took a little under an hour for the food to arrive and it was mediocre. My wings weren't bad but the ribs weren't edible. They were burnt. So was my friend's "medium well" steak. And another friend's chicken. I didn't like it here at all.
