We ate here recently on a trip to Niagara Falls. It's a bit touristy in the area so it can be tricky to find a good place to eat. It was a fairly short walk from the hotel & we were pleasantly surprised. Fried pickles = A++. My husband & I both love fried pickles & these were top 2 for me. My husband had Nashville hot chicken & I had the Thai chicken salad & both were excellent. We could not decide on dessert, so our very nice waitress recommended the Lake Rosseau tart since it was made fresh in house. In a word - scrumptious. Very happy we went & would go again. read more

This is the best restaurant in Niagara Falls. Not only was the food delicious, the service kind and prompt, and the ambiance actually offering a view of the water in some areas, what really made this place shine was the manager. We ate here in April as tourists from the US and we took home a little duck from their toy chest. This duck instantly became beloved and cherished as a tag along on our journey! Then, tragedy struck as the Great Furry Beast--our black lab, Rudy--mistook the duck for one of his toys and destroyed it when we got home. This was devastating :( I emailed the restaurant with little hope, asking if there was ANY chance they could send us another ducky. Well, guess what? THEY DID. Sadness turned to happiness!! And they were so friendly and humorous about it with me. The manager even included a chocolate coin in the package. WOW! Don't take service like that for granted, folks. My taste buds are healthy, fresh and unique to the area. This restaurant had great reviews. I was so disappointed with my meal. Bison meatloaf with mash potatoes and vegetables. They butchered it. They wrapped the healthy bison in a thick bacon. The mash potatoes was so creamy it tasted like butter and some weird aftertaste. Service was friendly not their fault. Waitress took it to manager who said that's the way they are made and refused to remake it. I refused to reorder fearing reprisals by cooking staff. Turtle Jack's was connected to our hotel. It was a very quick option for a small lunch. There wasn't anything particularly special about the restaurant. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich on naan with a side salad. It was all pretty standard. It was a simple, light lunch that was perfect for walking around Niagara Falls since I didn't feel weighed down. I like that they gave a salad option rather than just fries, but that was a pretty big increase for some lettuce. The ingredients were fresh though. The service was pretty standard too. Our waitress was attentive and nice, and the food came out in a timely manner. There isn't anything particularly "must try" about this restaurant, but it was good and offers standard food options. If you are walking by and starving, you should go in. If you are staying at the hotel and don't want to wander around to find something, this is a great option for you. It was our first night in Niagara Falls and we wanted to try a place we don't have where we live. Thanks again to Yelp, we found this place. It sits a bit far back from where we were staying, but it was well worth it. Just us getting out of the cold was worth it. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted by one of the servers. We opted for sitting at the bar instead of a table. They have a good selection of food, wine and spirits. You shouldn't have any issues finding something for your liking. The bar area is a good size with plenty of big screen TVs to catch your games. I had a pretty big appetite so I started out with the Edamame. I didn't even read exactly how it was prepared, but when it came out, it looked amazingly delicious. I think their menu is slightly different depending on location also. I was surprised at the loaded amount of edamame that was on the plate. It was a little on the greasy side, tossed in some sort of seasoned oil maybe, but with just enough seasoning and a side of a vinaigrette for dipping. Needless to say, I ate every single one all by myself. I had the Blackened Chicken & Goat Cheese Salad, which consisted of mixed greens, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, dried cranberries, hemp hearts and mixed with a vinaigrette along with a glass of their house Cabernet Merlot. VERY good. My friend decided to go with the Power Bowl made with Quinoa instead of greens. This looked also a very good and filling salad but without the meat. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back to eat here if I came back to Niagara Falls. read more

Omgoodness this was a great choice! Happened to be CAs Thanksgiving day, so it was very dead inside. The staff was still super friendly and attentive. Its attached to a hotel too, in case you eat too much. They offer a gluten free menu, which is so helpful! They also had an amazing gf bun that was delish. The had a nice local wine for my table mates and I personally had a fantastic virgin bloody mary. There were lots of sports on the different TVs, so good place for sports fanatics. Decor was also very chic. I had the blackened chicken sandwich and my gawd, I loved every second of it! They musta added magic to the recipe, I'm telling you! Changed out my side for their coconut rice - also yum! I was full but ate it all anyway! Kids ordered off the kids menu (pasta with meatballs and tacos), husband had Buffalo chicken wrap, and I had the bison meatloaf. All were well received!
