I wasn't greeted when I walked in, she wasn't friendly when I asked about a drink and lastly she didn't even tell me my drink was ready. She was more focused on her power puff girl conversation. Unique shop tucked downstairs in the corner of a bank. This shop had limited seating and honestly wasn't that impressive. The coffee was more on the bitter side and had a unique roasting flavor. If you're looking to expand your coffee palette though this is the place for you lol. A hidden gem in Glendora. My son and I happened to come across TRO Coffee through Yelp. It is a converted office building or some type of business. Anyway, TRO shares the space with other businesses. It was very affordable and they have plenty of seating spaces, including a large sofa with two cushioned chairs which gave it the feeling like you are relaxing at someone's home. I do plan on revisiting the coffee shop in the future. read more

Very cute place! My fiancé and I were on the way to run errands and this place caught my eye. It just looked so cute, and the name sounds like something naughty you do on Valentine's Day. What's not to like? I got a vegan caramel latte with macadamia nut milk, and my fiancé got a macadamia nut cappuccino. The latte was really good! The flavor was not too sweet so if you just want the flavor of caramel but not have the latte be so sweet, this one is for you. The macadamia but milk was really good! Think but creamy. The bathroom was also very nice and presentable, and they offered bougie hand soap and lotion so it felt really nice on my hands. The reason it gets a 4 is because it is a bit pricey. It was around 12 for two small lattes. I would definitely come back but wouldn't make this my go to coffee spot. The cashier was also incredibly friendly and sweet! Simple new coffee spot that may be hard to miss. Its located inside Union Square (I think that's what its called). This place took over where the Reverse Oragatutan was located and I feel like they have the same menu. Coffee is good and the cookies are amazing! The parking situation can be a little difficult if going in the morning, but there is always street parking if you don't mind a lil walk. read more

First time trying this place. I'm new to the area, I drive out here for work and I have tried 3 other shops. This will be my go to now. The owner is very friendly and social. Even gave us the meaning behind the business name. When you have a place that's welcoming, it could bring you back more than other places that may have better products. In this case however, the product was better than the other places I've tried as well so it's a no brainer. I had the iced oat milk latte, which was perfect. As a coffee fanatic, I'm digging all these amazing local coffee shops popping up in SGV! The Reverse Orangutan is another amazing coffee shop in the small town of Glendora. They're located inside the newly opened Union Cowork. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and vanilla (my standard), and found it to be satisfying. I popped open my laptop and went to work there for a few hours. Seating is limited, but it's sufficient if you're looking for a quick place to work around the area. P.S. The complimentary internet is only valid for two hours. I believe you can add-on extra hours, but you have to pay for it via the Union Cowork (they gotta make a living somehow). I'll be making this my new coffee shop in the area if I ever find the need to work around here. read more

Had a cold brew w oat milk last night as part of a Yelp Elite event. Flavor was spot on! Deep in flavor. Very enjoyable. The barrista was very kind and hospitable. Great place for coffee. I got a shot of espresso and the morning bun, came quick and was pleasantly surprised, the morning bun is like a cinnamon roll but the cinnamon sugar is on the outside, this was also the first time I got espresso, and it was a bit too much for me, which is not the establishments fault, and the girl behind the counter was nice and poured me some milk to make a more pleasant drink, it's got a very nice interior with a suitably coffee shop vibe. read more

After my doctors appointment I decided to try and go here for the first time. Fortunately I was able to find it, but like the other reviews it is hard to spot it immediately. There is also parking in the back and in the front. When I went inside it was really interesting since they share the space with a rental office business. Basically you can rent a desk or an office for your work needs. There are also tables that you can sit down on and lots of outlets. I ordered an iced lavendar latte with oatmilk and it was GREAT. It seemed like a nice space to come back to study or work and they opened indoor dining to a limited capacity. When I went there it wasn't busy. One fun fact is The Donut Man is just down the street so when I come back I'm down to get coffee and donuts. read more

I stopped by this place after my 24 hour shift. I needed some strong coffee and decided to give it a shot. This place is a little tough to get to but they have a lot of parking. They share the space with some other corporate offices. But you can distinctly find the coffee shop with the giant artwork they have on the side. I came a little early but the worker saw me and opened up a few minutes early which was so sweet of her! The coffee shop itself had that modern, aesthetic appeal. Very simple and cute design. The coffee itself was delicious. Exactly what I needed to pick me up. And I liked out the worker was conversational while she was making my coffees. I really appreciated genuine this place is and the staff as well. Nothing but love and support for this shop! Definitely check them out and give it a try. Cold brew is strong but good. Finally got to try Reverse Orangutan! I had them bookmarked for a while, but then I saw them featured on the Augie's Union IG page so we for sure now had to try it for real. I'm sad we couldn't chill in their space, but with Covid happening, I understand why. That being said, they practice good safety measures. The cashier and pickup is set up outside with Contactless pay available at a distance from your barista. Don't be discouraged if you don't see street parking or parking in front of the store, there is plenty in the lot behind the storefront. They have cool merch outside including their beans. If we didn't still have beans at home, I would've bought some yesterday. Heads up, the Augie's Union branded beans are actually beans from Reverse Orangutan and are sold when Augie's Union group is hosting an event. They also sell some vinyl records which I thought was cool. Their stickies are free (just ask). I ordered a drip coffee and my husband ordered an Americano. Their coffee is so good! I was there visiting my mom's grave and had breakfast a local restaurant so I decided to look for good coffee, and this is the place that caught my attention. And I'm glad that I went with my instinct. Came to Reverse and found the shop to be lovely, understand that's it's in the premises of a working co-op but the seating area is ample. The barista on staff was amazing, she helped me navigate through the menu. We landed on the Yam Spiced Latte with oat milk. I love yams so I thought it worth a shot. I've never been the biggest fan of Pumpkin Spice but this was smooth and not overpowering. Not going to say that it one of my top drinks but I appreciate the thought behind the drink, and it was clearly crafted with skill and intent. It's pricey and definitely not worth it. The work area is really spacious and aesthetically pleasuring, but it's not worth paying for. The coffee was okay. I got a vanilla latte but it wasn't anything special. I went midday and they only had a few pastries on hand. Personally, I prefer Starbucks. I really enjoy getting to try various specialty coffee establishments because they all lend their own twist to the craft. I finally found a day to make a trip over to Reverse Orangutan and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The owner Jamil was on bar and was very engaging. I asked what his personal recommendation would be for the day and ended up with a Pink Matter in hand moments later. It's a non-alcoholic twist on a classic cocktail, the Negroni, and was beautifully balanced. I appreciated the drink a lot, and I enjoyed spending some time chatting with Jamil too. There are other classic coffee/espresso based drinks on the menu, but I'd say try something outside the box and be pleasantly surprised. They also have a great selection of some delectable whole bean coffees available to take home. I had to grab one! I'd recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a great cup and especially if you're someone that likes trying coffee in unconventional presentations. Try it out! The Reverse Orangutan isn't a yoga pose, or the newest hipster band, its actually a coffee shop located inside of the lobby of Union Cowork in Glendora. A coworker and I stopped by the RO for a quick work sesh, which always starts with caffeine. The barista/part owner, Jamil, gave us a rundown of their menu and shared the current teas that they were serving. After listening to Jamil's recommendations, I decided to order the White Wedding tea, and my coworker went with a dirty chai latte. I believe the White Wedding was a Bellocq tea: blended with jasmine, lavender, and orange blossoms. Definitely floral tasting! I added the liquid syrup for a little more sweetness. What really stood out to me about this coffee shop was the atmosphere. The windows are floor to ceiling, providing natural light. There is a large selection of comfy seating available: including barstools, couches, and desk chairs. I also love the variety of natural plants, which add a ton of color and life to the small space! Unlike most coffee shops, this cafe was built to get work done! The RO is quiet, with coffee-goers focused on their own work, and a large number of electrical outlets scattered throughout the space. Just note that WiFi is only free for the first two hours. So quit monkeying around and give this new cafe a shot! read more
