I "believed" I was so lucky that Keith was willing to place our daughter as full time libero on his 16s team. Season cost around $3800. Practices were always cancelled. He would arrive late to tournaments. The girls didn't even have balls to warm up with. The other teams would let us borrow them. He even left mid game one tournament because he was frustrated with the way they were playing. How about you actually coach them and have practice available?! For a while practice was with locals because there was no coaching. This is supposed to be a 16s 1s travel team. This last weekend they were supposed to have a 2 day tournament in Anaheim, SCVA championships. We get a message saying he has made an executive decision to end the season early and has canceled the last two tournaments, including the big tournament which is the summer soirée. Come to find out, after someone investigated, he NEVER signed the team up. Which means he just pocketed that money! We asked for a refund since he decided the team was no longer going to have practices or games. He offered to move our daughter up to the 18s team. My husband wrote back declining. He proceeded to blame the girls. BEWARE!!! Keith only cares about filling his pocket. He will not take responsibility for his lack of professionalism and wants to call himself a coach. There was a lot of potential on this team, but he did not put any effort into them. His priority was the 18s team since his daughter is a part of it. I was warned but I never thought someone would be that greedy and lack integrity. Do yourself a favor and just pay for privates from other clubs, it's not worth the risk and you are just wasting your money.

Coach Keith often arrived late to tournament games, left early from practice, or didn't show up to practice at all. Practices were poorly structured and lacked organization, leading to limited player development. Keith punished players by threatening to reduce their tournament playtime if they missed practices that were rescheduled due to cancellations he initiated. Playtime was based on favoritism, not skill rather than skill. Communication was awful -- Keith ignored parent questions and passed them off to staff who were just as unresponsive. Less than 24 hours before a major tournament, he abruptly ended the season with no prior notice, refused to respond to refund inquiries, and blamed the cancellation on the girls. Avoid this program at all costs. This man only cares about filling his pockets!

Sad that a team can literally win one game in a full weekend tournament, file a dispute about documentation, and walk away with gold rings for players that didn't even EARN a seat in a championship tournament. SHAME ON YOU "Just wanna make Money" for not teaching these young boys good sportsmanship over running a business. If you have the option to play other tournaments over JWPB TAKE IT!!!! Teach your boys the real value of hard work and ethics over heading home with some cheap Chinese ring they may or may not even earn.

What a poorly run, unfair operation. This time our game started over 30 minutes late because the umpire showed up whenever he felt like it--no apology, no explanation, nothing. He then proceeded to make terrible calls, basically inventing his own rules as he went along. To top it off, he straight-up left mid-game (again, zero communication), and we got stuck with a replacement umpire. But the real kicker was the blatant favoritism in the bracket. We were in position to potentially play in the championship game. Instead, the director approached one of the opposing coaches at the start of their game and said, "If it's close, we'll just call it early so both teams can advance to the championship." Sure enough, that's exactly what happened--we drove all the way back to the field hoping for our shot, only to see the game get mercy-ruled early. The other coach even admitted it to ours afterward. How is this acceptable? Handing out championship spots like favors? It's dishonest, unethical, and completely undermines any sense of fair competition. This isn't the first time JWPB has pulled shady stuff on us--scheduling issues, poor communication, inconsistent rules--but this was egregious. We wasted time, money, gas, and effort for what? A rigged setup and zero accountability from whoever's "running" this wannabe organization. Lesson finally learned after way too many hits: stay far away from JWPB. If you're looking for quality, affordable, and fair youth baseball tournaments in SoCal, look elsewhere. We won't be back, and I hope others see this and save themselves the headache. Avoid at all costs.

We have seen our son gain so much confidence in his abilities after receiving professional training from Jon since early 2025. Jon was recommended by a coach/family friend of ours and since then, we have recommended him to many players and fellow teamates we know. They are all having the same positive experience that we have shared with so many others. We have already seen the growth in these players first hand as well. Our son, Maverick, who had already been pitching for a few seasons prior to starting professional instruction, started lessons at 9 years old. Soon after starting pitching, we added hitting lessons once we found out he had been drafted up to Majors within our local league. Jon has a true gift for working with young players; the way he explains the drills makes it easy for them to grasp the concept of what he is looking for when working on their mechanics. It's been great seeing the progression from when Maverick started and now a year later. Mav has always been a solid, consistent player, but his mechanics are much more refined thanks to the professional instruction he has received. With proper care and mechanics, his skill sets have definitely been taken to the next level. Mav is much more confident at the plate and on the mound which has improved the mental aspect of his game greatly. He's become both physically and mentally stronger on the field and we feel the time and money spent has been invaluable to his game. The owner of the facility Ernie, is very kind and welcoming. He is a wonderful source of information and will always take time to chat with you or answer any questions you may have. I have spent many hours at the E29 facility, watching many of the instructors. I can confidently say that the entire staff is professional, kind & encouraging towards ever player, at every level, that walks through that door! Our daughter (14U softball) and youngest son (6/farm) train there as well. Although they train less consistently than our son, we've still seen amazing results with them as well! Thank you Ernie, Jon and the entire E29 staff for being a wonderful, local facility that we are proud to have our kids train at, in a community that we are already proud to be a part of!
