We have participated in tournaments and play offs many times over the years and this is one of the nicer fields we have been to. The fields are maintained and the older teams get to play on turf. The parking is insane when you have almost 200 teams participating, but you just have to get there early enough. The bathrooms are clean, they have food and merch vendors set up, everything runs well and is organized. They have a big play ground in the middle for the kids to play at between games, they even have shade covers between the fields as well. They also have people driving through frequently emptying the trash and making sure everything is going smoothly.

What a great experiment! Perfect for "glamping" in a safe environment. We were 4 families who rented the cabins. The cabins were clean, good AC, comfortable and bug free. Felt like a hotel. Bathrooms and kitchens were very nice and functional. Service was amazing and the splash pad was fun for the kids. Fishing was enjoyed by all. The store by the entrance has everything you may need for your stay and activities. Nobody was loud or obnoxious. The RV crowd was quiet and pleasant and the camping group was the same. The separation and layout of the grounds was very well thought out. We will come back for sure! Great family weekend. Right outside the cabin there is a fire pit and seating area. Easy access from the parked truck to load and unload into the cabin. Make sure to bring fold out chairs for nightly s'mores.

Every year my tax guy throws an end of tax season picnic at this location. This park is really nice. They have a small lake and plenty of covered spaces for gatherings. This year he even had horse rides. Such a blast. Being outdoors and with great company what else could you ask for. Also the restroom are clean and they also have camp grounds available for you to stay over night. Great local park.

    They allow fires!

This is a hidden gem so close to home! This camp ground is so clean and everyone that works there is so friendly! What a great experience. They have a splash pad, mini golf, Little Rock area for kids to climb around, a good size fishing pond and ton of biking trails. Every site is over sized which keeps it from getting over crowded. Truly love having this place in Riverside! It's perfect for little staycations.

Had a great time camping with the family. We spent 4 days at campsite #226. The spot has so much shade and space for the kids to play cornhole and other yard games. The campground was cleaned nightly and in the morning by staff. The staff wasn't intrusive and allowed families to enjoy themselves. If you have little ones they have a splash pad, mini golf, and a lake for fishing. Also on Saturday night they hosted a movie night with complimentary popcorn and cotton candy for the kids. We can't wait to come back! Beware of skunks.

I had no idea it even existed! I stayed in the Cottonwood CG and it was amazing! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, beautiful modern bathrooms! Seriously clean every where! I've camped a lot of local state and regional parks with hookups this year, and definitely the best one yet!

This place is great for everyone! Various soccer programs for all ages. The facilities are excellent and up to date. The downside is that they closed the side gate for parking, making it inconvenient to go around the whole park to park. Silly, I know but true. If parking was an issue, they should hire someone to monitor the parking (maybe security). This has been enforced for about a year. I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but why?

Such a great local getaway, the park is kept clean. We used the RV rental space for the second time and we couldn't be more happy with our family experience. I highly recommend for a quick little getaway! or enjoy a day at the park fishing splash zone and bike riding to get your family outdoors.

Fellow RV'ers had mentioned that this was a wonderful place to camp, so we made reservations and stayed for four nights. Easy access, wonderful staff and facilities, and spacious camp sites with full hookups make this a great place to stay. Dog friendly and not a rowdy crowd...we already made our reservations to come back.

Ask the Community - Rancho Jurupa Park

What is a splash pad? Nobody is bothering to answer the question that matters most to me: IS THERE WATER THERE THAT'S SUITABLE FOR "SWIMMING" (JUST BEING IN THE WATER) OR NOT? Are there rules against getting into the water wherever the fishing sup

I believe the splash pad is for the kids. They have a little kiddie area.

What time is check-in for campsite?

Technically it is 2pm, but you can probably check in earlier if the campsite is already vacated.

How much is the mini golf?

Free! If you bring your own ball and putter

Any idea when the renovated splash pad will reopen?

    It's open late August 2020.

How can I throw a baby shower here?

Call the park or visit Guess services for that information.

Is the water pad pet friendly?

No the water park is not pet friendly.

Hi everyone. I have read that Jarupa Park charges a $6 fee for adults but that they don't sell fishing license permit there. Where can I purchase one? Maybe one that is not too costly? Thank you!

It costs $10/day to fish plus you must have a CA Fishing license. You can buy a 1 day CA Fishing license/pass at the camp store. All together, if you don't have a license,… Read more

There have been so many changes over the years to the gym here at UCR, mostly to try to better the place. They've moved things around, made things nicer, added more things, and overall improved the gym space but adding things like extra power racks and now they have a weight sled on the second floor. Service is generally friendly but usually whenever I ask the front desk for things, they seem lost or they act like they don't care about anything. Overall, I do think that this recreation center is a lot nicer than other the other UCs. Some of my complaints include that they refuse to have higher dumbbell limits, since the highest dumbbells only go up to 100. I know it's not in-demand to have them, but if students need to progress, you'd think they'd add more weights. I also don't like that they got rid of some of the leg machines downstairs and moved them upstairs. By doing that, you're making students become even more lazy from doing leg workouts more often and you've created a chicken leg epidemic! haha If you're coming to this gym from outside of the university, I believe that they have guest passes for $5. But if you're from UCR, I highly suggest utilizing this gym because it's included in your tuition.

They have any type of weight training you need, an indoor track, beautiful pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and almost anything you need. The equipment is kept clean, and you can use the rooms to do floor training when classes aren't being held. Speaking of classes - they have people come and teach Zumba, Pilates, or again - anything you need. Water stations on both floors, and clean bathrooms on both floors as well. Sometimes the SRC gets crowded, but that's mostly after the New Years. If you avoid prime hours of working out you'll have no problem getting the machines you need. However, even if it is crowded, you'll still get what you need with a short wait time. If you're a student or have the opportunity to use this gym, I strongly recommend it!
