This place gets extremely crazy on holidays. It's $20 for the day to park which is a little pricey but the splash pad is included in the cost. If coming on a holiday come early! I got here two hours before closing and I wish I would've spent the entire day there because there's so much to do, it's not crowded, and the areas are all so well kept. They charged us $15 to enter. Parking is plentiful. We went straight for the splash pad which was super cool. Looked like something from a legit water park. They also had mini golf and playgrounds. There's plenty of benches and shady areas. They have an RV section and cabins for rent too. We have participated in tournaments and play offs many times over the years and this is one of the nicer fields we have been to. The fields are maintained and the older teams get to play on turf. The parking is insane when you have almost 200 teams participating, but you just have to get there early enough. The bathrooms are clean, they have food and merch vendors set up, everything runs well and is organized. They have a big play ground in the middle for the kids to play at between games, they even have shade covers between the fields as well. They also have people driving through frequently emptying the trash and making sure everything is going smoothly. read more

What a great experiment! Perfect for "glamping" in a safe environment. We were 4 families who rented the cabins. The cabins were clean, good AC, comfortable and bug free. Felt like a hotel. Bathrooms and kitchens were very nice and functional. Service was amazing and the splash pad was fun for the kids. Fishing was enjoyed by all. The store by the entrance has everything you may need for your stay and activities. Nobody was loud or obnoxious. The RV crowd was quiet and pleasant and the camping group was the same. The separation and layout of the grounds was very well thought out. We will come back for sure! Great family weekend. Right outside the cabin there is a fire pit and seating area. Easy access from the parked truck to load and unload into the cabin. Make sure to bring fold out chairs for nightly s'mores. read more

Every year my tax guy throws an end of tax season picnic at this location. This park is really nice. They have a small lake and plenty of covered spaces for gatherings. This year he even had horse rides. Such a blast. Being outdoors and with great company what else could you ask for. This is a hidden gem so close to home! This camp ground is so clean and everyone that works there is so friendly! What a great experience.They have a splash pad, mini golf, Little Rock area for kids to climb around, a good size fishing pond and ton of biking trails. We were camping for one night. There was a very large group camping near the 21 campsite that had there music really loud until 11 and all the occupants were screaming until midnight. The park ranger cruised around only once but never addressed the issue. The group was so large they had multiple cars parked on multiple sites even parking on the grass. Overall it was a bad experience knowing that the park rangers do not address issues resulting in a hostile environment. Will never go back to camp there period. read more

Had a great time camping with the family. We spent 4 days at campsite #226. The spot has so much shade and space for the kids to play cornhole and other yard games. The campground was cleaned nightly and in the morning by staff. The staff wasn't intrusive and allowed families to enjoy themselves. If you have little ones they have a splash pad, mini golf, and a lake for fishing. Also on Saturday night they hosted a movie night with complimentary popcorn and cotton candy for the kids. Excellent RV Resort. Very family friendly. They offer many amenities. They also offer an "RV only" area, away from the city park and noise of the public. All non-paying visitors must leave by 10pm. Gates are closed in the evening and only accessible by codes given to paying campers. Those codes are changed often. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The ponds are stocked with fish. There are walking and biking trails. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry room were very clean. There is a little store on premises. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had an excellent stay. The downside is that they closed the side gate for parking, making it inconvenient to go around the whole park to park. Silly, I know but true. We stayed at Jurupa Park with our 2 yr old grandson this week. We arrived on Monday 8-25. The staff was beyond friendly from the time we checked in to when we left! They wave and greet you everyday. The Ranger Supervisor caught a man that was stealing an electric bike from another campers spot early in the morning . (5:50 am) He was super nice and assured us his Camp Host and staff keep the riff raft out as best they can, and they seldom have things stolen. His afternoon ranger came by and told us about the theft, and to make sure things are locked up at night. She was very friendly. The splash pad was a hit for my grandson! Bathrooms were super clean as well as the whole park. We will be back! read more

A nice place to retreat to during Pandemic. Due to admissions, there are not a lot of people there on weekdays. We celebrated early Mother's Day here and played a round of mini golf---we literally have the whole 18 holes to ourselves. Nobody else was there! The place is kept relatively neat with water closed down for a few of the holes that show old water marks on where water used to be as an obstacle course. Be careful of hole 14 or 15, my mom accidentally tripped on the rocks on that course and fell on her face. Luckily, her mask and her hands lessen the intensity of her fall. The park has a lake where we saw ducks, baby ducks, and goose, which was very nice. My daughter was so excited to see them! The place was very chill and has lots of parking. They also have a nice water park area, which would be very cool to play with if not during pandemic. Due to the water being recycled (there's a sign that confirms water is recycled) can't help to think if one person has Covid, the Covid would have been floating onto the water recycled over and over, which reminds me of the recent massive outbreak due to the river in India. The rock area is pretty neat. It's a nice blend of the natural with the scenery and good for kids to climb on. read more

Playgrounds are nice, apparently the splash pad closed at 6:00pm (so much for heading over after dinner and there are no signs anywhere displaying hours for splash pad area). Also the mini golf course is horrible. It's run down, tore up, and the water features smell like pond scum. Made me gag. read more

The lady at the office is rude and not helpful in any way. I've been trying to go fishing there and need worms from their store but the store clerk hasn't been seen or heard from in hours. I only have a one day license to fish and now it's been wasted because they haven't opened their store. read more

We recently spent 5 days at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park. We started our stay in the Lakeview Campground side. It offered limited hook ups and a little more rustic surroundings. The bathrooms were clean and it was a short walk to the lake and amenities. We opted for a pull through and it made parking and setting up very convenient. After a few days we checked to see if they had any open spots on the Cottonwood Campground side. They did so we moved. The Cottonwood side has concrete pads, full hook ups and more grass. We rather enjoyed this area a little more. Less dirt to track in the rig. We have plans to visit again soon and look forward to relaxing and taking advantage of the amenities. read more

We went to this park for the Fourth of July and it was a great time. Our spot had a huge grass patch in front giving optimal space for our kids to play. It was very clean, safe and fun. The water park is a great addition that we used each day we were there. We rode bikes all day and night without any concerns. Can't recommend this place enough it's our favorite park to rv camp. read more

I rarely go camping so I'm not sure what is normal. But after reading 1 - 3 star reviews that echoed my experience I knew I was on track. It can still be worth visiting but understand the issues and prepare and set reasonable expectations. Ear plugs and sleeping pills are always a good idea when camping plus hand soap and extra roll of toilet paper. PROS: I liked the scenery and general feel of the place and there loads of kids having fun. CONS: 1. Difficult to fine camp site #. Should be signs or painted on pavement or something that is easy to spot from your car after a long day of driving. 2. Showers require tokens that are only available during business hours at the front gate $0.50 for 3 min. That takes around 7 minutes to walk to. Also, not hooks or shelves in bathroom. 3. Dust everywhere. Should be low cost mulch to reduce dust. Lots of gopher holes - which I don't mind but contributes to dust and easy to trip at night. ** I maintain a commercial building with the same types of fixtures. ** 4. Waste - a faucet was dripping and was turned sideways by maintenance crew instead of just installing a new washer or faucet. Middle sink did not have a low flow head and 2x in 2 days someone left it going full blast and I turned it off. Why not install sensor activated faucets? Shower - you put the token in and if you finish early not way to turn off. 5. Shower drain clogged. Solutions: Change leaking faucets or rebuild. Install sensor driving sinks and make them taller. Adjust drinking fountain to correct pressure. Add some hooks and shelves in bathroom and shower areas. Sensor on lights turn off during day and motion activated at night set for 5 or 10 min. All cheap and easy and extend life of bulbs and save power + $$ at the same time. Also add inline valves to faucets so water can be shut off right near the valve that needs changing - cheap and easy. "See something, Say something" LABELS - on faucets, and in bathrooms so if there is a problem it is easy to report and you can press a button on a call box and report to staff - can be set at adult height or QR code to report to staff. "Trash can 125A is full" Sink 23B is dripping or sink drain clogged. Add more trash bins and dish cleaning and general hand washing area. Also, should be some unbreakable polished mirrors in bathroom or outside of bathroom. read more

This is such a great place to camp and fish and even golf. Okay mini golf! We camped at both spots and I'm still really undecided which is better. The primitive stool was more authentic with close prolixity to the lake. Yes they was good! But the nicer spot had great bike riding trails and roads to play on. I am really still split on that. I think is having the best of both worlds really made it better. We would definitely come back and I guess it depends on how large our party is would determine which one we pick. Take my review with a pinch of salt as I'm still a newbie when it comes to RV Parks. We've stayed at about 5-6 different RV Parks and Rancho Jarupa has been the best so far. We don't use the amenities, basically using it for a place to park our RV n sleep. My son is going to UCR this fall and we've made a few trips down with the RV. We got our exploring during the day, return at night to relax and sleep. We stay on the cottonwood side, RV pads are cemented, level and spacious. We've stayed in spite 241 & 211. 241 doesn't have any shade but works perfect when weather is cooler. Can't really go wrong with any of the sites on Cottonwood side. Checkin is a breeze. They email you the information you need to checkin. They also give you a free visitor vehicle pass. I recommend having the park site map, with it.. it was a breeze finding our spot. The cottonwood area is nicely kept, spacious and not over crowded like the Lakeview side. The people are friendly, it's quiet at night and we'll lit. read more
