I truly love the quality I get from Vivian because I have very oily nail beds so my acrylic usually lifts after about a week and I swear she must do something different because my nails NEVER lift now! I give them a ZERO!!! Dirty and disgusting place and staff! One of the staff picked her nose while doing a lady's nails! The man is rude and has the worse breath- I almost vomited! The staff are rude and act like they are doing you the favor! They yell and all speak Vietnamese and make you feel very uncomfortable! If you ask for your preference on how you want your nails they get insulted! The woman actually handed me the nail file and said "you do it!" All my nails were crooked and horrible! No manicure- just put polish on and that's it! And charged me $25 and my nails were rough! I had to go to another salon to have them redone!! I will never step foot in there! I've been going here on and off for about 3 years for pedicures since my mom has been going to Tracey for 5 years now. They remodeled which is really nice since it was an older looking salon. Regardless of the new chairs, nice painted walls, and fancy floors, their work has always been so good! They really get in there! Worst manicure I've ever fucking had. I listened to my aunt who told me they had the best top coat ever- so much so that your nails will last all week. So I get this old hag that's telling me to relax the whole time and I'm thinking bitch you relax, but I don't say anything. I just went in there to get my gel taken off for $5 and then figured, hey a manicure is $15 why not? Here's why not: Well, first off her way off removing the gel was scraping it off my nails, idk if theres a better method for that or what. I'm sure there is. So when the polish went on my nails it was extremely textured and not smooth at all because my nails were rugged from having the gel scraped off.. Not to mention she cuts my nails in this ugly ass u-inward shape so now my nails look short and stubby as fuck. My middle finger is crooked. So I look at everything at the end and theres polish all over my fucking cuticles. I say something and she tells me "it better for you." Uhmmm ok this is the first manicure I've gotten where anyone gets polish all over my cuticles, if I wanted that I'd go home and paint them myself. At least they would be in the shape I'd want. Then she starts talking in Vietnamese to one of her co-workers while she wipes the polish off my cuticle, obviously disagreeing with what I'm telling her. In the end she doesn't even take it entirely off my cuticle but I'm so pissed off I just want to go home. Stupid me paid and tipped the bitch before she did my nails so I wouldn't risk messing them up when paying them at the end- I REGRET THAT. My aunt said Joann and Tracy do a good job- I don't know if they do but the old lady that did my nails did an awful job and was really fucking rude. It is "NOT" your ritzy nail salon with fancy marble floor or high end lounge chairs nope it's not it's a regular salon that's sanitary and regular chairs not no $20,000 chair imported no it's nothing high end . Well they have get mani pedi chairs though . But as far as Decor it's not high end at all . It's a cute salon your not paying for there expensive decor like at other salons that will charge you an arm and a leg really . Prices are great service is amazing !!!! Update on 6/11/2013: I've noticed that the acrylic on my nails chips easily and doesn't last as long as the acrylic fills I've gotten at pricier salons. Previously, I've been able to go two weeks before going in for a fill but if I keep using Trina's, I'll have to go in about every 10 days. So the quality of acrylic is probably cheap but everything else, including their service, is still top-notch. You decide if this matters to you or not but I think I'll have to go elsewhere for my acrylic fills. Previous: I'm pretty picky about nail salons because I like friendly AND good service. Trina's gets it both in one with their courteous and skilled staff. Not only do they make sure to greet every customer, they also are very attentive and helpful to everyone. Then, when you're in the mani or pedi station, they gauge your mood to see if you want conversation or not. I typically bring a book so they respectfully stay quiet while I read, which I love. I hate it when people interrupt me while I'm reading. Price-wise: they're one of the best. For only $50, I got a fresh set, a pedi, and two designs on my toes. Other nearby places charge almost $10 more for the same services. Just another reason why I'm a fan. Word of advice: make sure you call first to see if they're busy. This salon gets a lot of traffic so you don't want to make the drive all the way there, just to find that they have no openings. read more

The service is great love the ladies there beautiful nails and not too expensive. Lots of colors to choose from and they do mani pedi's for only $30 on special. (Which is around most holidays). Ok so I live for my mani/pedi's on my mondays off - but I can't stand being rushed! The girls, and occasional guy, at Trina's always take their time - thank good because when its rushed it never lasts as long. They do talk in Vietnamese to each other which, hello, why wouldn't they? But they never leave me out of the convo. which I find very different than other salons, and very much appreciated - the decor could use some help but I go there to get my nails done, not to look at the walls. However, the salon gave my Niece an allergy attack with the smell of dust and food! My pedicure was NOT what I expected and ended up having to ask them to REMOVE the nail polish! It's smeared three times due to being too thick and was very clumpy! Cuticles were hanging off my toes, they didn't clean under the nails and it was just a half ass job all together...... I discovered Trina's when I got tired of paying higher prices at another salon. This doesn't mean cheaper. The quality of the services and the overall great feeling of this salon would be worth a bit more cost, but the value for the service is top notch! On my first visit I was taken care of by Vivian. It was my fault that I smudged the pedicure, but Vivian took care of me, even though the salon was packed on Mother's Day (at no charge!). My daughter introduced me to Trina's probably 10-15 years ago. When she moved out of the area, I figured I would go to the salon(s) closer to my home. Having decided that none were worth the time and cost, I went back to Trina's today. I learned it is well worth the slightly extra drive to go there. Amy is polite and friendly and provides an "old-fashioned" pedicure complete with actual massages of feet and legs. She takes her time and uses her skill to trim nails and shape them, multiple times enriching the cuticles with cream/oil. Her attention to painting the nails and finish far exceeds anything I experienced in the others I had tried. Highly recommend Trina's. For those whose complaints were regarding stopping in and being told they were busy, or dropping in told they would have to wait, plan ahead and make an appointment. Those who have appointments should be taken before walk-ins, as they deserve to have their appointment honored. if i could put zero stars i would. we walk in (for a bridal party) and we are told to take a seat @ 5:10... two girls, the bride and myself... we wanted a full set and pedicures. so we sit down and tell them we had appointments, soon after a girl walked in and also said she had an apt. the owner and a couple other people working start saying we did not call and then go over into their language, clearly annoyed with us being there, we decided to brush this off and still try to make the best of it. The bride was seated with a male, he was extremely short with everything. we wanted something particular and he just did not think it was going to look the way he wanted it to... (does it matter to him?!?!? he is not the one walking down the isle!)) meanwhile i am seated with a woman named amy for a pedicure. it hurt, the massage was maybe 30 seconds and the french tips were horrible and crooked. so i brush it off at least my bride looked happy.... until she informed me her nails were crooked and had an extremely weird flare out... i meanwhile am still sitting in the pedi chair, along with the girl that came in AFTER me... and they chose to take the other girl instead of me... no biggie i would wait for the other lady... too bad she took a walk-in who came in AFTER they were close. so i sat there for a full 2 1/2 hrs. for a pedicure that looked HORRIBLE and frankly made my legs sting, then i have a bride who's nails look like thay came out of a bad 70's movie (she wanted gold tips), who would have known nails were supposed to be flared out and sharp so they can cut ppl... as for then end, the offered me a seat in the chair after the 2 1/2 hours... i declinded and they LAUGHED and said ohh it's because of the wait right? SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! i am calling the news stations tomorrow to give this salon some much needed publicity and to spare the next bride who comes in looking for a fun relaxing experience, but what will surely turn out to be an unpleasant waste of time and money. ALSOOO just to add the cherry on top, they do not sterylize their utensils, they used ones on me, and then went straight to the bride and used them on her.. the foot sponge and everything.. can you say INFECTION!!!! read more
