I have been coming to Tri organic spa (which used to be 12th Ave nail and hair back in the day) for YEARS!! Nancy is the best nail tech in the Pacific Northwest, her sister Kaylie is an incredible hair dresser. It's family owned, they're a wonderful community to have especially for self care I would 10/10 recommend, they will never disappoint :) read more

After a third time here I've decided not to come back. This salon is constantly overbooked and understaffed: I made an appointment for 4, we began around 5:20 (they accommodated our late arrival) and did not leave until almost 8:00. Service was subpar and rushed as there were at least 3 other appointments booked after us that evening. Nancy was rough with all of our nails: bleeding, very tender and sore nails after the appointment. Once again, the salon was dirty, once again the service was haphazard and sloppy. read more

On vacation and decided to get a mani-pedi and it was such a great experience here. Everyone was so nice to us. We chose the Classic Spa Manicure and Pedicure. Both of which were executed extremely well. We had a wonderful time. Absolutely recommend!!! We loved the energy and felt the quality of service was worth it. Before choosing this place we were going to Nordstrom's Spa and glad we chose here. read more

UPDATE: the owner reached out to me and offered a refund. I appreciate the attempt to remedy the bad experience. Nevertheless, my finger became infected and has been in pain for the last week. Let's make sure your nail technicians understand how to handle such situations in the future... -------------------------------- WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER! 1. If you mess up and make your client bleed... DON'T DO IT AGAIN... and say, "you have thin skin" wtf. Own your mistake and don't expect a generous tip. 2. Lumpy shellac application and bubbles in the polish should not have to be pointed out by the client. Pay attention to your work and make adjustments NOT excuses like, " oh, it must be the polish..." 3. What should have taken an hour at most, ended up taking 2 hours cuz they had to take off the polish (at my request), and clean up my nail again. **Thanks to Dana for staying after hours to "fix it" 4. I asked for a clean/bare nail and they used a clear shellac polish and actually had the balls to charge me for it..."here's 10% off for your first time", yeah no thanks! 5. I wasn't planning on tipping (was only going to tip Dana, but Nancy decided that she wasn't going to give me cash back for the $50 I paid for a basic mani/pedi (no color on toes). Worst customer service EVER! The owner just left and didn't even try to make it up to me. read more

Update: The owner reached out to me, she seems like she really wanted to help me & her business out, but I regretfully denied the services due to the lack of adhering to covid guidelines I experienced while at tri organic. Maybe post pandemic I'd give it another go :) ________________________________________________________________________________ I was reallyyy looking forward to finding a decently priced nail salon in Cap Hill. Maybe my experience was just a rare occurrence. But I had high hopes. First of all, one of the gals working did not wear her mask when the salon first opened. Maybe 15 minutes later she decided it was time to place one. I was already sitting at a chair soaking my toes. They were all SO nice but I can't overlook the other missteps I experienced at Tri Organic. Prior to arrival I booked online as it seemingly was required to book an appointment. Then several others arrived at the same time. It seemed like there were more clients than 25% capacity. The amount of people in the salon felt like pre-covid era. From what I'm reading in the last reviews - it looks like this isn't the first time they've done this. My pedicure had a chip before I even left the building but since there were so many clients I felt like I couldn't ask for a re-application. Also my SNS manicure was not applied all the way up to the cuticle so it looked like my nails were already growing longer... Not the most ideal when I'm paying nearly 70 dollars for everything. Also they said no design? I looked at a review that said they do designs??? I was willing to pay for it too. It just seemed like they overwhelmed themselves by booking more people than they should've and I got sub-par quality of the services requested. It appeared like the loyal costumers were the ones they treated with more time and effort for sure, which I understand but not a good look for the new costumers. read more

Update: The owner texted me immediately after the review and asked for giving them a second chance. I came back and she done the work nicely and neatly! read more

Came here twice, once with my gf and another time with the boyfriend. Manicure: We did our nails here w/ the acrylic option and not the shellac - I recommend the shellac because the acrylic didn't stay on for long on your nails. The nail color didn't last long even after the drying AND them putting on the plastic wrap (on your toes) for you when you leave which I don't really like (hence I docked off 1 star). Pedicure: I came here with the boyfriend and they did an amazing job massaging your legs before doing the nails. You even have a chair with the massage machine on so I recommend coming here to do that as it's quite relaxing. The service is great - the employees here are really friendly and nice! Would come here for pedicures! read more

Nancy did an amazing job, she is very talented and efficient. The place was clean and everyone was nice. Really easy to schedule and fairly well priced with the 10% off happy hour and I also paid in cash which was an extra 5% off. Cute little spot tucked away in capital hill on 12th ave! Amazing experience at Triorganic spa today. I got a gel fill with TAP gel which was new to me and a Brazilian wax. TAP gel is a type of gel hybrid, and the consistency is like toothpaste which they smooth and contour to your nail with an alcohol like solution (I think?), and then buff and put a top coat on after. It cuts down on the time with multiple coats in a regular gel manicure. Both the manicurist and esthetician were great, and super sweet! I especially appreciated the convo with the esthetician considering it was a Brazilian and distraction is definitely appreciated. They even offer 10% off for happy hour from 10a-2pm. Would definitely come back if I'm in the Seattle area! Thank you Triorganic Spa! read more

1. Refused to use hand sanitizer or put on new gloves between clients. 2. No licenses posted. 3. Did not honor Yelp check in discount. 4. Had an amazing facial here today. It was my first time coming in and made an appointment for a facial and pedicure... after a 35 hour week of waiting tables in the Market, this girl needed some self care! I chose my color and sat down... the chairs are wonderful here! I did request a deluxe pedicure, but the woman may not have known and it was a simple, short calf rub pedicure. The original lady who was doing my toes did a good job on the shaping and was very attentive to the cutting on my toes, but I didn't get that pampered feel through the very short massage and I didn't get a mask or cooling gel... and not the paraffin wax. The girl who took over did amazing on the polish and then got me ready for my facial, which she did as well. The facial was very relaxing and soooo needed. I splurged on the 45 minute one and was not disappointed by any means! The massage, the ambiance and the experience was wonderful. My face is literally glowing, my skin is very happy. She even put on relaxing music on her phone and gave me a shoulder, hand and scalp massage. It truly felt like a spa experience and made me feel truly pampered after that. I will definitely come back in for a gel manicure soon... and try the deluxe pedicure again.... I should have been more clear with my pedicurist about what I was getting so maybe next time I'll remember that. Still deserves 5 stars. The owner even touched my arm and asked how my facial was as I was leaving... which I thought was so thoughtful. Thank you ladies! read more

I loved my experience at Tri Organic Spa. I called yesterday for a last minute appt for a facial and they got me it. The facial itself was so relaxing and my skin looked wonderful after. I had such a good experience that I booked a mani/pedi for today. I got to the area earlier than expected- by a couple hours, so I called and asked to come early. They were busy, but worked me in. My mani/pedi looks great. I chatted a lot with the owner, Kaylie, who is just as sweet as can be. Everyone there did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend coming here. I just started going here a couple months ago, but it is by far my favorite place to get a dipping powder manicure in Seattle. Nancy is just the sweetest lady and she had incredible attention to detail. I have never been disappointed, they are simply the best! Not impressed. They were very fast, and did not actually make my nails look better. In fact, they look worse.

I've tried twice for dip and gel. My manicures never last and my cuticles are ragged within a day or so. With the gel, it chipped within a week. That doesn't even make sense! Gel isn't supposed to chip! What's in those bottles? Both times I went I had an appointment and both times I ended up waiting anyway. I wanted this place to work but I guess I'll keep looking for an actual good nailbar. read more

THE BEST FACIAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! I'd give this 10/5 if I could haha Kaylie is a sweetheart who went above and beyond to give me the best possible facial experience. I got the one hour facial with exfoliation, massage and mask under led light. The actual facial lasted 2 hours and my face feels great. All my blackheads are gone and my face is glowing. Not just that, the massage was also SO GOOD! I couldn't believe that isn't their specialty because of how good it was. The staff is super nice and very welcoming- I felt so close to Kaylie. On my way out she gifted me one of their products. I walked out of this place feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and my best self. I'll be getting this done every month now and can't wait to explore what else they do. Update: this one hour facial only costed me $60 with their 20% off sale for holiday szn read more

I reached out via Yelp to schedule an appointment to remove my dip manicure, and got a very quick response! Love that. However, when I went in, no one seemed aware of my appointment. This is a pet peeve of mine: why take reservations if no one keeps track of them? Anyway, two women worked on me, without really telling me what was going on, but they were friendly enough and achieved my goal of having my polish removed. It's cute and clean on the inside and has a convenient location (although difficult to find street parking nearby). read more

Was home for my bff's wedding and wanted to get my nails done - a week later I'm back at work in DC and my nails look 95% as good as they did right when I walked out of the salon. I don't think I've ever made it past day four with nails this great. Perfect nails a week later speaks for itself, but the women who work here are very sweet and added a killer massage to my basic mani/pedi combo. I can't even explain how shitty the service was here. I got an acrylic nail fill here and didn't have it on my hands long enough to take a picture! This place was super professional and great. They handled a series of appointments so well. There was just a constant stream of people coming in. My friends and I each tried a regular, shellac, and dipping manicure. The pedicure were great. Everything felt super nice and luxurious. I wish I got a little bit more of a massage but honestly the massage chair was great too. I also am pretty ocd about specific curves of the nails and the length and she was very receptive to my corrections. We had a bit of a snafu with some air bubbles on the manicure polish. I think it was box she did one coat after the other on one hand rather than do one coat on both hands and then going back for the second coat. Generally air bubbles show when coats are done too close together. But like I said, she fixed it. The price was also pretty reasonable and again, would love to come back! read more

I recently moved to Seattle and have been looking for my new go-to nail salon. I liked the story behind the salon and the fact they use some organic products, so I decided to try it out. It was less than a 10 minute walk from my apartment which is very convenient. I was helped right away and Nancy did my fill. She was very nice and did a great job shortening and shaping my nails. She checked my nails several times to ensure both hands were the same length and shape, which I really appreciate because a lot of people don't do that and you end up with different length nails. She was thorough and took her time. I am happy with the end result. I don't remember the name of the girl who did my pedicure but she was super sweet and gave the best massage, which was longer than I anticipated which was amazing. She was also very thorough and made sure I was happy with the massage chair and offered water. I also had my eyebrows done by the owner, who was also nice. I don't let many people touch my eyebrows but she did a great job and cleaned them up how I wanted. Overall, I am very happy I decided to go to Tri Organic Spa and will definitely be back for my next mani/pedi and waxing! read more

Tri organic spa is located conveniently around the corner of downtown Seattle. I messaged the owner on Yelp an hour before the appointment, and shes able to squeeze us in for a pedicure and a hand/feet color change on a Thursday afternoon 3:00p. There are parkings on the street, and we were lucky enough to find a perfect spot in front of the salon. The staffs greeted us friendly and situated us on pedicure chairs right away. The salon has a wide range of color selection from regular nail polish to gel polish. We chatted and joked around while having our toes done. Dana who did my nails was so nice and sweet. She offered me water and also took pictures for us. We felt super comfortable and enjoyed our time there. Dana also gave us a 10% off for our first check-in (fantastic!!!) Our nails looked fabulous and we can't wait to come back and hang out again. read more

I am not one to leave bad reviews unless it is deemed absolutely necessary. I paid $88 for a shellac mani and pedi. The nail artist did not bring the paint/shellac all the way down to the bottom of my nail, nor did they spend enough time cleaning up my cuticles. The day of the service, my nails already did not look great. The picture added shows what it looks like exactly one week later.
