They felt this could've been a fraud transaction so requested me to send them a cashiers check! Why would anybody do that? Who's the fraud here? So they cancelled my order and sent me a cancellation notice. But today I found out they still charged my credit card. Wonder who the fraud is here?

And the selection is great. Trendy AND a large variety of items too. Including sports equipment for every recreational activity! Very nice layout. Organized. Clean. Bright lighting. Service A-plus. There has not been one visit where someone has not come up to me and asked if I needed help. That in itself is impressive. Unless there is a sale going on things are pricey in my opinion. But as they say you get what you pay for. I did buy a pair of Hoka walking shoes last year and they have held up wonderfully and are so comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend Dick's Sporting Goods for having plenty of inventory and wonderful service. They definitely have you covered.

I told my mom I'd have them look up her measurements and we would get the same shoes we got before. This was the first fleet feet. I've been in that had more employees than customers, but after my experience, I completely understand. I went in and I ask a gentleman in a navy sweatshirt. I believe his name was Justin, but I was so upset when I left. I'm not quite sure if his name was Justin. He was a young kid under 25 with a navy shirt on. I ask him if he would look up my mother's account by her phone number. He said they only do email but he would try the name we went back-and-forth a lot. We tried my name, etc. I finally said let me go out to the car and get my mom's email address as she was waiting in the car for the shoes before I could do so the gentleman says to me that the computers between the fleet fees are not linked so it wouldn't matter unless I bought the shoes there which I found odd because I've gone to other fleet feet and they've been able to find my account so I could get the exact model of shoe that I had purchased before At this point, Mr. Navy man was finding this pretty freaking amusing and I was not. I said look I just like to buy my mother a pair of shoes and I'm sure there's something that can be done to figure out which shoes she had before they were either unwilling or unprepared to help with this situation which could've been as simple as calling up the elk Grove fleet fee to find this information so that the owner of this fleet feet could make a sale because I was ready to purchase a pair of shoes. Not only was the boy and his friends also working in the store finding this incredibly amusing I am not. I am sorry for the owner of the store because not only will I tell others about the store. I will never go into the store again and I have already contacted fleet feed corporate to let them know about my experience This store seem to be stocked with a lot of young people with no oversight and again I found it very odd that there were so many readily available employees as usually a fleet fee on the weekend is not for the faint of heart. There are usually so many customers in there, but I get why they were not in the store given my experience I was given the card for a manager named Rachel, but at this point, it doesn't matter because I would never step foot in the store again

Not only was the selection weak, but I was never approached by an employee for assistance, including in other departments. Plus the store seems small and jumbled in display. For example, the bike department seems blended with the snow board equipment. I left without buying anything and feeling indifferent about ever returning. Lastly, although the store carries name brand products, it is full price and can be found elsewhere for less. The only exception on pricing is their own branded products, but that often means buying something that has the REI logo blazing through the look of the item.

Another thing to note is that they carry seasonal specific gear.
