Dear Folsom Bike,…read more Never have I been treated so fairly, with such an amazing amount of customer service. It's Christmas evening as I'm writing this. I currently own a landscaping company and was called on an emergency run to fix an issue that was flooding a home, and due to time restraints on Christmas evening and early closing times I missed my opportunity to pick up my wife's Christmas present, a new Trek bike. I emailed Erin from Folsom bike and she contacted me while sitting down to Christmas evening dinner, she opened up the store just so I could surprise my wife with here new bike. Love small businesses that put customers first. Thank you again Folsom Bike.

Beware! I brought…read moremy wife's internal gear 7-speed nexus hub in for service in a Saturday. The staff told us they would look at it on Wednesday and let us know if they could fix it. On Thursday, they finally called - and told us they would try - but we have to pay for their hours either way. We reluctantly agreed (since we had a gift certificate, it was sort of 'free'). A week went by - and they told us they couldn't fix it, but they could order us a new wheel fr $450. Which was weird, because I found the exact part on trek's website for $180 and could have it shipped to their store. They told us that wasn't the right part (it was - I'm pretty proficient with bikes and can read a spec sheet). So, when we got to the shop, they claimed we owed $150 of work to get our bike back in the same condition we dropped it off 2 weeks earlier. Rather than fight with them, we paid to just get out of there. I then took the bike to Del Rio Bike Shop in East Sac, and the staff there had the hub fixed in 20 minutes for $30 and were back and rolling again.

I called back and offered a fair price, but they were rude and dismissive. No willingness to work with me or treat me like a customer. Totally unprofessional.
