I have been into the shop multiple times and all the dudes have helped me a lot and always answered all my questions. The big dude in the back seems a little grumpy at first but once he comes out of his shell he's very delightful. read more

The guys at Patriot are always great! We're usually just there for flat tire repairs. This time we needed a little bit more work done. They were quick & communicated along the way. After thinking that he would be waiting a few more days, our son was very excited to hear that his bike was ready this afternoon. Thank you! read more

With so many choices in today's economy it is imperative that small businesses find a way to stand out amongst cheaper internet giants such as Amazon. Often, a personalized shopping experience including customer satisfaction can be the only reasons customers support local brick and mortars. Unfortunately Phil, a Patriot employee has forgotten the importance of prioritizing customer satisfaction. I will be taking my hard earned money to another who is able to process reasonable requests without making the customer feel unsatisfied with the services he received. read more

Guys, if you're looking for the best bicycle shop in Sacramento, you have found it! I took in an old school bmx(skyway ta) in to be put together. I previously went to 3 different shops in my area with all my parts. All 3 looked at it and said, "I think maybe we can do it." As if they weren't sure. It did not inspire much confidence. All 3 told me to take it to Patriot!!! Well, what does that tell you? The guys at Patriot are awesome. Special thanks to Matt. He took so much time out of his busy schedule to advise me on parts selection, encourage me to get back into the sport after so many years. How to go about doing it, where to go, etc. My bike was ready two days before what was originally estimated to complete. Tuned exceptionally. So happy! Thanks guys! Customer for life read more

Great experience every time! Have been coming here for years. Mainly for tube changes, they are quick and you know the prices upfront. Robby helped me out today with two bikes, one needed a tube change and the other needed two tubes + tire. $6.99 for tube +$8 for labor. Was in and out within about 30mins. Robby went above and beyond, checked the valves, let me know what's going on, and helped me install a phone mount. Definitely recommended! read more

Great experience today at Patriot bicycles. I was in a real bind and needed the battery charged for my old DI2 bicycle. I could not find my charger anywhere. Stopped by at lunchtime and talked with Scott , he was very kind and offered to charge it up for me at no charge. The shop I normally use is in Auburn but was closed until Tuesday. This type of kindness will encourage me to consider him for future purchases for sure! This is just show neighborly good business. I will remember it. read more

We went there to get a small repair of something I wasn't able to fix for my grandson, a stripped nut issue. The kid just wants to be able to ride in the neighborhood with his friends and is learning some new trix. We are not pro racers or anything like that. I was amazed at how helpful they were. I was fully expecting that the repair would not make sense compared to buying a new bike, which we were not able to do at this time. The boy was sooo happy we were able to put to use a bike that's been sitting in the garage for years! When it is time to replace it I know where we are going. Very cool guys! read more

As my lady and I were ready to go on an evening bike ride, I noticed that her rear tire was completely flat. I inflated it back up only to find out that it went flat again within minutes. I then took matters in my own hands, searched for a bike shop on the Yelp app and came across "Patriot Bicycles" in Citrus Heights. With an average 4.5 star rating at just over a dozen reviews, I figure why not give this place a try. Located in a small strip mall directly on Madison Ave and adjacent to San Juan Ave, "Patriot Bicycles" has actually been around for many years but under different fictitious names and owners. In addition to them being a dedicated business where they sell bikes, they also do tune-ups, brake adjustments/replacements, accessory installs, derailleur/shifter gear work, spoke cutting/threading, and much, much more. I phoned the business around 4:45pm, told them our situation and the employee told me as long as we arrive by 5:00pm, he would install a new bike tube in her tire. Fortunately we got there right at 5:00pm and there was only one customer in the store. And speaking of the store itself, this is actually a nice little place that actually has two sections; one where the adult bikes are kept and another small section where you'll find children's bikes. As I told the employee that I was the one that called, he took the bike right in and worked on it immediately. And 10 minutes later, her bike had a brand new inner tube put in. The price was very reasonable as it only cost $3.99 for the inner tube + $8.00 for labor. Best of all, we were out of there by 5:15pm and were able to go on our evening bike ride from 5:30-6:30pm! Overall, the staff here was very helpful, informative, and took care of us in a very timely manner. They carry some major bike brands (Giant, Specialized, Fuji) as well as components, helmets, pedals, chains, baskets, pedometers, tires, and much more. There is also a unique BMX bike museum that is showcased in this store. They definitely focus on service which is something you don't find at some of the other bigger name bike stores. Thank you "Patriot Bicycles" for a job well done. read more

This bike shop is probably one of the worst I ever been too. They are never helpful and usually have a attitude. You walk in they are just sitting looking at you they don't even get up and ask can I help you find anything or ask questions. I'm never shopping here again and I'll make sure I tell all my bike friends the same thing. read more

My first time here. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They gave me an estimate, and a timeframe for the bicycle to be tuned up. The estimate was right on and it took less time than they told me to get the repair back to me. I had questions when I went in to pick up the bicycle about a new saddle, and a new helmet, and they were very accommodating. Thanks patriot! read more

I would give this place ten stars if I could. They were extremely helpful in helping me out on the phone about a cruiser bike. I stopped in here once before and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I didn't spend a lot of money but they treated me like I was. I popped in again the other day to browse BMX bikes and sadly all the ones I wanted were sold out. The staff once again were really great and genuinely sorry they couldn't help me. This place has a great selection of bikes just not what I was looking for at this time they recommended other shops to me but I'll wait for them to get in the bike I'm looking for. read more

We had high hopes for this shop but my husband just went this morning around 10:15 and the employee opened the door, told him they don't have any bikes, wouldn't even let him go inside and then just said "have a nice day" and shut the door in his face. read more

Nice shop, as I am new to the area. Went to just get a few innertubes, and some riding snacks. I'll be going back eventually if I ever need any services. From what I can tell, it looks like a clean shop, well maintained, and friendly customer service. read more

When I dropped the bike off and picked it up, the customer service was excellent. I had my bike serviced (replaced shifter/brake lever and full tune-up) right before the pandemic broke out and finally got to take the bike out. It is shifting and braking smoother than ever. Good to find a quality local bike shop. Will have to bring my mountain bike in here as well. read more

Purchased a frame and fork combo for a great price. Scott was awesome and definitely would recommend them.

Excellent customer service and very friendly. Helped us buy a new bike for my son. They did not push us to buy a more expensive and were VERY knowledgeable about the each model. I've found a couple other bike shops in town to have arrogant attitudes if your just a regular, casual rider. I highly recommend Patriot Bicycles if you want a laid back, comfortable atmosphere with knowledgeable staff. Prices are very good too. read more

Gotta say... First time in here. Phil helped me out. He was very helpful. Has great product knowledge and very nice guy. I would recommend Patriot just on the strength of this one visit. Since covid hit, it's hard to find people in any business that are good at what they do. When I find good staff, I always make sure I give them my business and recommend them to others. I did go back and got someone else (whose name I didn't get) but he was also very friendly. Thanks again you guys! A full set of stars ***** read more

Back in April 2020 I had brought my road bike in for a basic tune up (needed brakes tightened and air pressure checked for tires). When I picked up my bike weeks later, my bike was exactly how it was when I dropped it off. No tune up was performed and I was charged $75. These guys are rip offs and just take your money without doing any work. read more

Amazing bunch of guys!!!! Super helpful and honest! They repair all our bikes and they know what they are talking about

I've been coming here off and on for about 5 years, first bike was a Big Ripper. Scott helped me with some mild up grades to the bike back then and never complained about all the crazy questions I asked him. So this year things have been super crazy killed the small businesses and put people out of work... rough times( I was worried the shop had closed). I reached out to him to see if he was able to help build my wife's bike and if he had any good suggestions on a bike..... and again of course he did. The bike is the Covid 26 by S&M perfect for my wife, the bike turned out awesome now he'll have to build mine ( Covid 29er S&M) I wanted to say thank you to Scott ( he makes you feel like family when you are in his shop) and his team of bike builders Matt ( super cool guy with a ton of knowledge about the bikes he builds ) and Phil ( first guy that helped me buy my first Big Ripper... he is super knowledgeable in his BMX bikes...good guy) read more

I purchased 2 bikes from here in the past year. A bike each for me & my brother Alex. My brother just got a road bike with all the trimmings. I trust their advice and expertise and would definitely recommend them. read more

Very nice staff in here! Went in to price getting my bike cleaned up and ready for the spring and was treated very nicely and not talked down to! This is very nice to see, especially since another bike shop (who shall remain nameless--but they're on Howe Ave) was very rude to me when I went in with the same questions. I found them to be very reasonable and as a friend had recommended Patriot and I am definitely bringing my bike in this next week.....great prices...great people! read more

I dropped off my bike because I needed my brakes adjusted and my new saint shifter installed. Well... I didnt realize that my shifter would not work with my deore derailleur. Soooo... one of the mechanics at Patriot called me, let me know, and let me know some options. I was impressed how well they knew their stuff. In the end they gave me a screamin deal on a new derailleur that worked with my saint shifter. Screamin!!! Deal!!! I was soo stocked!!! I get my bike back and not only does it shift like butter but my brakes are dialed like brand new! Which is a big deal because I took it to another shop about 5 months ago for a tune-up and the other shop did jack crap, and I was not happy. I recommend Patriot over most of the shops in this area, and even a couple in Roseville. They did a great job and I could not be happier. I can't wait to go riding this weekend!!! read more
