Delicious coffee and pastries with a nice view of the main Vail village road. Enjoy a sip of coffee in the cold Vail day while people watching out the window while skiers start their day. Good price and good bites!

If you want some treat yourself on a hot summer day, this is a nice place. They have a decent selection of coffee, pastries, and ice cream + you can enjoy all that outside. We got some ice cream and it tasted great. It was priced reasonably, too. A cherry on top was their staff - very friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

Stopped by after dinner to see what we could have for a treat. The servers were so helpful and pointed us in a great direction - the double chocolate cookie (it was even gluten free!) and the queen roll. They warmed them both up for us and they were absolutely delicious. Our young boys said it was the best cookie they've ever had. Such a cute little cafe, too!

I dropped by here for the coffee. It's a more traditional coffee place. They use Lavazza medium roast beans. Price - 3/5 Espresso - 4/5 Interior - 3/5 It was pretty pricey.. 4.25 for a single shot of espresso. Most shops make double shots and dump the second, but maybe Treff sticks to the traditional Italian style espresso with single shots. The espresso was solid -- hard to go wrong with a medium roast. I really like the paintings on their ceramics! The interior is super well lit but rather out of place. The uniform wood color and chairs make it look more like an office space than a cafe.

SO CUTE!! And so European. Walked around Vail with my partner and stumbled upon this wonderful spot to have coffee and a pastry. It also seems like the perfect spot to get reading or work done in the future, with the plentiful amount of electrical outlets. I ordered a Lavender Latte and Apple Danish to-go. The danish was heated up and in an actual to-go container. Sooo good!! The restrooms are large and clean too. Customer service is excellent. Pricey but otherwise no constructive notes about Treff Cafe.

One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. I had to come check out the type of coffee beans used here because it's just that good. Great staff and beautiful cafe with cozy views. Such a great experience.

I realize that 10/29 is shoulder season in Vail but no matter. I was dying for a coffee at 2 pm to warm me up. Treff Cafe was the only place I found that was open. Lucky me! 2 helpful, kind staff were at the register answering all my questions. My latte was delicious... and a little biscotti to go with it. Icing on the cake? A cutely decorated, comfortable, warm environment to drink it. I'll go there again. . Even when everything else is open.

While walking around and tired as hell, we really wanted some coffee or tea to wake us up. Stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Girl working at the counter was very informative of what the offer and I decided to get chai latte. To my surprise chai came out with a biscotti cookie that made the chai experience even better. A must try place..

And to stumble upon this chic and inconspicuous cocktail bar in the busy downtown was something I wasn't expecting and became a treat after a nice stroll through the town after dinner in my hotel room. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was at the place where my heart was calling for. There were two gents at the bar and one of them warmly greeted me and said I could sit anywhere I would like. I hence picked one of the bar seats. Except one table that was occupied by a couple I was the only one. I appeared to have picked the right time; I had the whole bar to myself (eventually though, several different groups of people streamed in; only a few of them sat at the bar close to me. The bar was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a little over 10 people.) Jeremy, who greeted me upon arrival, was a super host. As soon as I explained that wine is my usual got-to, he said he could mix and match reds and whites to create a "flight" based on what I had told him as to my likings. His extensive explanations as to what sorts of reds and whites the bar offers/serves was (of course) all in his memory. His eloquent speech with no filler words truly impressed me; he sure is a wine connoisseur. What he picked for me were... -2024 Pepiere "Les Gras Moutons" (Muscadet) -Kobal "Bajta", Hazole Belo (aka Orange Wine) -Sandlands "Red Table Wine (Lodi Red Blend) With his wealth of knowledge, after giving him only a hint of what I liked, what Jeremy selected for me to sample/sip was a superb choice. All of them were world-class excellence with elegance and beauty. I carefully and slowly sipped each one little by little to truly immerse myself in the art of wine. Yes, wine is a piece of art for sure. I think I said it correctly at the beginning of this review. This is a cocktail bar with variety of spirits which Jeremy could easily concoct just about anything from gin-based one to vodka-based one to tequila-based ones to whiskey-based one to name several. For those who don't drink, their zero-proof section also has something interesting to browse and choose. Not to mention, rotating pilsner or IPA on tap to name a few from the beer section as well. If you need a little bite to eat, their (changing) food menu has a good number of New American-style plates. The bar originally opened in a different building back in 2015 (I believe). They moved to the current location in 2019. They also offer various different classes so you can expand/extend your knowledge. So for your next foodie vacation in Vail, make sure to include Root & Flower in your list.

Price: Expect standard Vail pricing for high-end cocktails, with most drinks ranging between $16-$20. Customer Service: The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient; even though we stayed for quite a while to catch up, we felt welcomed and well-attended to the entire night. Atmosphere This spot has a cool, welcoming vibe that feels very safe. It's the kind of environment where you can really settle in and enjoy the company you're with. The Drinks I ordered the Sangre del Sol. The flavor was amazing, though be warned it is very strong! It's an excellent choice if you enjoy a cocktail with a serious kick, but I ended up letting my friend finish mine after a few sips. Overall Experience I highly recommend Root & Flower for a beautiful setting and top-tier service. Pro Tip: A huge bonus for this location is the parking! You can park for free after 3 PM at the S. Frontage Rd. East garage right nearby. I'll definitely be back!

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.

We walked in and it appeared to be a quiet night, we could see the bar was pretty empty. The hostess asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no, we were dropping by for cocktails and wished to sit outside. She told us we could sit inside at a couch area by the entrance. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.
