    Tropical fruit tea
    Ellie A.

This is not your standard bubble tea/coffee tea place. It's pretty specialized! If you are a matcha lover, you will have MANY options to choose from. I'd say it's more adult friendly as opposed to kid friendly. If you're not used to this type of specialized drink, the options will be a little daunting. They do have a wonderful kiosk where it gives you photos of the drink along with the name which helps. We got the tropical fruit tea and shared with my daughter. I'd say it was a bit overpriced. I wouldn't personally come back here again as these are too specialized for me, but if you like Matcha or cream coffee and specialized drinks you wouldn't find elsewhere I'd say come here and try it! Ambiance is nice, they have clean polished tables to sit and enjoy which is nice. Service is friendly as well, it's all done by kiosk but you can asked them questions if you need to!

Tried this place with a friend when there was a BOGO deal going on. The place is clean, modern, and bright with tables around for small groups to hang out. The drinks came out pretty quickly after ordering from the kiosk. The coffee is strong with the perfect sweetness from the egg foam. I'm glad I got it early in the day, because I was buzzing from the caffeine! I'm seeing a lot of reviews mention that the cups are small for the price. However, I think the uniqueness of the toppings and concentration of the coffee warrant the higher price.

Strong coffee Lots of ice Bit pricy but prob comparable these days Went on the grand opening (unbeknownst to me) and got a coupon for a free small drink. Ordered the tiramisu, VIP, yogurt, strawberry matcha. While we all agree the beverages are good, we were all done by the time we walked to our car. Redeemed the small coffee and got ice on side. The drinks filled half way... was thinking it'll be near 3/4. Good coffee still but not enough to justify the cost due to paying for ice.

Sunnyvale just got a new Viet coffee spot! Tram cream coffee opened their newest location in Sunnyvale, and if you've had their drinks before, you know they are a hit. They're known for their Vietnamese cream coffees like egg coffee, ube latte, and their super bold VIP coffee, and I also tried their new matcha series and the double matcha was so creamy and satisfying. If you go, here's how to enjoy their cream coffees: * Shake it up * Let the ice melt a bit * Sip and savor I love the modern casual look of the shop, with decently quick service and lots of parking in the plaza.

Not my favorite banana pudding matcha, but a good option for Sunnyvale. The banana is very artificial and I don't like that you can't control the sweetness. They use condensed milk so it is pretty sweet. I do appreciate that they use oat milk in their matcha already. Service was not very welcoming but they were quite busy. You order on the kiosk with card and I saw a customer who was paying cash (she told them) waiting at the register but no one came to help her so she left. A few tables outside for you and your furry friend.

New coffee place. I ordered online and it said ready for pick up right away. I drove over and it was ready. I had the Ha Noi with coffee cream. It's delicious. It's one size. My daughter thought it was small. It's espresso with coffee cream. I've been back 3 or 4 times. I like it enough not to try anything else. Place is clean and new where the old share tea was. We picked up Bonchon on one of our visits too. I'm sure I'll be back again.

White Bear & matcha with egg cream

There's a kiosk in the front where you can order from. The place is small and has some seating along the right side. There is a decent amount of parking in the plaza. The place can definitely get busy. There is a restroom. I got the white bear and matcha with egg cream. The white bear was on the sweeter side even with the lowest sweetness and was really enjoyable. The matcha was good too and tasted like a dessert type of drink with the egg cream. They have a variety of drinks here too that I would wanna try when I come back.

Managed to stop by both during their soft opening and during their grand opening celebrations. It's always nice to have a new Viet coffee place in Sunnyvale, but I'm not sure this place is super worth it. For about $8, you get a cup that's majority ice (at least three quarters of the cup); I ordered both the egg coffee and the Creamy Hanoi, and both ended up with hardly any coffee. Ordering was simple through a kiosk and my coffee came pretty quick. The coffee itself was rich and creamy, strong as Viet coffee should be and the coffee flavor still managed to come through over the egg cream and milk. My egg coffee came with a boba lid though, which seemed strange considering the egg cream topping, I had to shake it around a lot to get the egg cream mixed in instead of getting the layer. This place is new and seems cozy with a few tables inside to sit. Still though, not sure if it's worth coming back considering the multitude of other options in the bay.

Tram Coffee #8 just opened up and I was able to go the day after opening and a week after. I've been to the one in Hayward before and first tried the Tropical Fruit Tea. I got that again in Sunnyvale and am still so shocked at how large the 800mL cup size is. This tea only comes in the large size due to all the fruit inclusions like orange. Other drinks are available in 600mL or the 800. The juice layers of dragonfruit, passionfruit, etc. look so pretty! I get no added sugar and it's sweet enough. I also got the house milk tea which comes with boba, grass jelly, and coffee jelly. No sugar is good for me and the black tea is strong. One of my friends is a bit crazy and gets super strong Viet coffee, meaning the classic Saigon and adds two additional shots of espresso! She asks for less condensed milk too. She also got the peach orange fruit tea with lychee jelly and it quenches the thirst. Another friend got the egg cream coffee and the cream is soo yellow! He said it was good. We tried out some snacks. I got the trio of custard buns from Tracy Bakery: vanilla, chocolate, and matcha. I liked the last two more. We also tried the rice paper rolls which had shredded fresh papaya with crispy bits of meat and veggies, topped with some cream similar to sour cream. It came with a tangy dipping sauce as well. Both kiosk and cashier offering available. Plenty of indoor seating. The employees are nice and helpful. This used to be ShareTea and R&B Tea so it's the same seating layout for this new coffee spot. Can't wait to go back and will try a different fruit tea like lychee. They open early!

I was in the area and needed to kill some time before driving to my next destination. I've seen Tram Coffee around and decided to check it out. I ordered the Saigon and Matcha latte. When I initially saw the price of the drinks, I thought it was a little pricey. When I got my drink, I noticed that it was mostly ice. However, when I drank my matcha, I realized they do not skimp on what they give you. The matcha and coffee were strong so the amount of ice that was given made sense. Like most places now-a-days, you order at a kiosk. The bathroom key is hanging on the wall for patrons. Wifi is available. Tables, chairs, and overall restaurant is clean too.

    Small egg coffee specialty drink
    Kris C.

Was happy an egg coffee place opened up closer to home. I got a small just incase to try if I didn't like it, it was the egg speciality coffee. It's pretty good. Very strong and balanced with the sweetness of the egg and the jello coffee. But as a small it's really all just ice and less drink. If you order I'd say order a large instead, but ask for less ice. Pretty good though, and service was quick. I'll come back to try more but very happy a place that serves egg coffee is near home for convenience.

    Banafe and White Bear
    Ethan A.

Found this spot on a whim as I was looking for a different location but oh was it a lovely surprise. They are in their soft opening but my visits have been pleasant. First off, their coffee is strong. The VIP, Egg Coffee, and Banafe all have that rich, bold coffee taste that will power you up. I do recommend getting less sweet for the options as the creams do add enough sweetness. I got the White Bear regular sweetness and I couldn't really taste the coffee but I could feel it. White Bear just tasted like condensed milk which wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I would totally would get the VIP or Egg Coffee again. Inside, you order at the kiosk or at the counter with the staff. Staff is nice. Inside is clean and has a nice, simple decor. There's a couple of tables and ~15 seats . Parking is easy, there's a shared plaza with plenty of spots. Overall, they've got strong and flavorful coffee that will keep you up and running for the rest of the day if not more. Make sure to eat something beforehand, but definitely go check them out!

Viet coffee with black sesame foam
    Daisy G.

Very pricey coffee, but it is strong like viet coffee should be. The black sesame foam added a nuttiness to my coffee, delicious! However, I cannot see myself paying $8 for a coffee.

There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. It's almost always full and you will depend on luck to find one spot there or arrive in time when someone is leaving their spot. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this. It is delicious slightly warmed up. I have tried their Iced Chai Latte, which was just OK. It lacked the spice I was expected from a chai, and felt a bit too milky. I prefer their Iced Caramel Latte, which is much better than the Chai. Next time I will try their Mocha.

He seemed nice and no small talk until after I placed my order. Not sure if he was new but he seemed uncomfortable taking my order. It also took awhile for me to get my order since there was only 1 person making the drinks. I also had to cap my own drinks because of how busy they were. I got the butterscotch latte and the Matcha latte with blueberry cream top. First off, for the butterscotch latte it is very plain. Barely has any butterscotch flavoring in it. It's not bad but not good either. Nothing about it stands out. Next the other drink I had higher hopes for, the matcha latte with blueberry cream top. Unfortunately the cream top was more like liquid and barely any was on there. The cream top looked more white than it did blue/purple which is strange because of the other photos on here which is very misleading. Tldr: the drinks are ok but nothing unique/outstanding about them in terms of flavor. They should definitely hire more people as well for the amount of customers they have.
