I took my vehicle in for service at my appointed time on Tuesday morning and my service writer Jonathan logged it in. He advised me it would be $135.00 to inspect the problem and this fee would be included if repaired. I agreed signing the form. Jonathan told me it should be a couple of days. On the third day I had to call as I heard nothing from him. Voice message left and when he called me back he told me he had to call in a "glass specialist" to replace the moonroof gasket as it was leaking. He said the parts should be in tomorrow and gave me an estimate which I approved. He said it should be done by the next day and it wasn't. On Friday he called at my request and told me he would have the glass guy start right now and if not finished Friday the "glass guy"would return to the shop on Saturday to complete the job. Hearing nothing I called late Saturday afternoon only to be told the vehicle wasn't repaired and Jonathan was off. The person I spoke had no updates. On Monday I went to the Ford dealership hoping to speak to Jonathan as to why no one finished my job on Saturday. Only to find Jonathan is off again (Three day weekend). Vehicle still not done. I left a "sticky note" as requested by the only service writer there. On Tuesday I don't hear anything from Ford even after leaving a note. That afternoon Jonathan decides to do me a favor and actually call me with an update. I bought a used 2008 Ford F 150 in January. When I bought it there was a slight shaking when I used the brakes. I am really busy so I let it slide for a while. In May the shaking got so bad I had my husband take it to a local brake and tire place. They wanted $1200 to fix the problem. My husband called Tracy Ford they said to bring the truck in to them. My husband did and they fixed everything for $100. I have had this truck for 5 months and I signed a paper saying I was buying the truck as is. They did not have to fix it but they did. GREAT PRICE - IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE I live in San Jose, but it was worth the 90 minute drive to Tracy to get such a great deal from Tracy Ford. Quotes from other Ford dealers for the same car were 350-400. October is the best time to buy or lease a car because auto companies are offering big deals to get rid of slow selling cars, which is the case with the Energi. I got a quote from Tracey Ford for the 2013 Fusion Energi SE + Nav + back Camera + parking sensors for $277 with tax for 24 months, 15k miles and 3k down. I decided to go for the 36mo term for $312/mo. The car I leased didn't have backup sensors, but it had a moon roof, they didn't charge extra for, and installed the backup sensors there at the dealer. This was a fantastic deal. I got a verbal confirmation from Holden, his cell is 209-204-3748 hchan@tracyford.com., confirming the deal before I went in, which made everything much easier. They provided an offer for a trade in of $X,000 and $YY,000 for purchase, in writing, and when sat to conclude the deal the trade in value was slashed by 50%, and price for car went up. On a Tuesday at 4pm I test drove and liked the 2012 F250 enough to purchase it. We did the paperwork for finance and sat there waiting for over 4 hrs. At 8pm we were congratulated on our new purchase and told to wait for the finance guy to finish the paper work 20 mins later we were finally walking into the office. Now for the first time we got to see what the price, rebates, payments, and various fees were going to cost us. The msrp price did not match the window sticker or the online price by $4747.00. But after 4 1/2 hours waiting we took his mumbo jumbo fast talk at face value and signed on the dotted line (first mistake). After the paperwork was all signed and we were headed out I thought to ask who my loan was through. Answer...oh its not financed yet. Thats normal for us here it can take a day or two to finish up. O...K... well we ended up leaving with our new 2012 F250 which is a awsome truck. We got called back in to sign new finance paperwork and at a better rate than we had expected. Or so we thought until it turned out to be a lie as well. As with the first visit the price of the truck was still over $600.00 more than listed for online or on the truck. But much better than that $4747.00. So now for the 3rd visit to finance the truck but this time through FORD. At this point I have had the truck for just shy of a month. The good news the rebates and the dealer price cuts gave me a huge price cut off the original price. Bad news they would no longer include the 200,000 mile power train warranty or the maintenance program in the loan and a higher interest rate. But with the massive price cut by Ford I would still pay less each month. We finally signed the dotted line. I love Ford Finance and my F250. Tracy Ford as a dealership is absolutely horrendous. A week later I still could not get confirmation from Tracy Ford that my loan was completed since they never answer the phones. So I called Ford Finance an through them found out I had been finalized the morning after signing the paperwork. I have been to many Ford dealers over the years and bought several Fords. Tracy Ford deserves 1/10 of 1 star for its performance. Just remember your best bet to talk to anyone is through your salesman. They may not help you a whole lot but they at least answer the phone. read more

LOWER THAN 1 STAR!!! 1. I called for a simple oil change service ... I came 10mins early like I used too, gone through the check-in process and reminded them that I have another appointment to attend to, reason I am waiting... An hour and half later... I approached the desk and asked Victor the status. He said they are pulling the car in right now and he apologize for the wait. WHAT!!!??!!! After one hour and a half, and not informing me about it? I have an appointment and a regular oil change maintenance should take no longer than 1hour 30mins!!! The response back was "I'm sorry we're busy... Your appointment does not guarantee the time you'll be seen" Whaaaaat? Apparently I missed my other appointment, I do not have other option except to re-schedule my other appointment that caused me another day missing work. And why you did not tell me that in the first place? I could attend to my other appointment and come back... WTF! 2. I again scheduled my car due to a door latch recall. It will take a full day so I asked for a schedule drop off (shuttle). I came 15mins early this time, to have enough time to go through the check in process and meet the shuttle scheduled time to drop me off. After check in I reminded Victor about the shuttle, he advised me that the driver have not checked in yet and he will inform me as soon as they're ready. Almost an hour later As I patiently waiting by the lobby, another customer came in as I watch, I overheard that shuttle is ready for them, (they just walk-in and already a shuttle is waiting for them?) as I prepare myself thinking I will be called upon I still waited for a good 2-3 mins before I approached Victor, I asked what's the deal with my shuttle (at this point I already waited more than an hour)... Victor replied "Oh the shuttle just left, I will let you know as soon as the driver comes back" Are you F***ing kidding me!!!!!! 3. I received another recall notice around the transmission clutch shudder issue. I scheduled an appointment. Victor said it will take a day. This time me and my wife drove in separate cars. After dropping the car off we left (no need to wait for shuttle that never comes). Again with a promise that Victor will call us. Guess what NO ONE CALLED. Long story short, after a full day that my car is in Tracy ford, we pick it up assuming everything were ok & NOBODY SPOKE TO US ABOUT THE STATUS OF MY VEHICLE. My wife (driving this car) notice that nothing had change and she still feel the shaking of the transmission. Also have noticed that the cover near the transmission area was not installed properly. I know this will make us to take unnecessary trip back to Tracy ford. I called back and spoke to Victor about the matter, he states "of course you will feel no difference because we WE DID NOT DO ANYTHING, the parts needed is in back order for 5weeks..." WHY YOU DID NOT SAY ANYTHING WHEN WE PICKED UP THE CAR!!!! DOES IT TAKES ONE FULL DAY TO FIGURE OUT THAT YOUR SERVICE CENTER DO NOT HAVE THE PARTS NEEDED??? SO WHAT'S THE POINT OF TODAY'S APPOINTMENT? TO WASTE OUR DAY, OR JUST SIMPLY YOU DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! 4. The 5 weeks wait turned into 7 weeks! And so we set another appointment to meet the recall notice. My wife ask for a loner since it will take 2 full days to fix the car. My wife was sent to enterprise just to find out that if the rental car exceeds 100miles we will shoulder the fee. ABSURD!!! My wife commutes 60miles one way to work, and so she called me at work to share her frustration on how VICTOR is giving her a hard time instead of working with her or atleast direct her to the right person to speak with regards to the matter. How inconsiderate! I have my wife look for the manager, Victor said he is not available, a guy walk out one of the rooms, my wife ask if he is the manager, the guy said YES. My wife hand over the phone to him I asked Matt why there's an issue with the rental car, he said that he will call to arrange everything and make sure that we will not get charge for any extra mile if any... Time went by, my wife called me again, apparently service center informed her about a not under warranty oil leak AND BRAKES that needed repairs. Approximately, a cost of $250, $400 & $100 deductible we need to pay . Since I'm at work I briefly instructed my wife to gather more information and confirm that the oil leak is not part of the recall notice nor caused by it, and say NO to the $400 breaks replacements. Few moments later my wife called back again and said that the leak now was under warranty and just need to pay the deductible. After I got my car back, I brought it to Les Schwab for a tire rotation and ask the HONEST and professional Les Schwab guys to check on my breaks... WITH NO SURPRISED TO ME I DO NOT NEED A BRAKE REPLACEMENTS, unnecessary $400 potential OUT OF POCKET cost bec they thought they can stir my wife of it!!! What a normal business Behavior! read more

I purchased a 2008 Dodge Caliber at the end of May this year. The car would not start this past Wednesday night. I had AAA come out and test the battery and it was determined that it had a bad cell (I have the documentation from the test to support this). Thursday morning, around 10:30, I contacted the service department and spoke to Victor. He mentioned bringing the car in to have some tests done. He also looked up the battery and according to the records the battery was about a year old, at which time he stated that since its a factory battery that it should still be covered under warranty and no charge for the replacement. I had AAA tow the car to Ford. At 11:30, I called Victor to make sure the car was entered in for service, left him a voicemail. At 1:30, I called for a status update, left him another voicemail. At 3:30 I called for another status update, left a third voicemail. Finally at 5:00, after not leaving a voicemail, I spoke to Wayne (service manager) who, coincidentally, just spoke to Victor about the tests that were being done on the car. He nonchalantly apologized for Victor not getting back to me after the numerous voice-mails. He stated that in fact it did come back as a bad battery and that the battery was in fact the originally installed battery (not replaced a year prior). Since there was no warranty on the car (other than the extended warranty that I purchased) and defective batteries were not covered he went to the used car sales manager and they stated that they would not cover the cost of a new battery. He did give me the cost of a new battery ($130). I asked after the car being there the whole day at what point did you know about the battery not being defective and not covered. He stated that he had just found out. About this time I received a VOICEMAIL FROM VICTOR (funny how that worked out); stating that he had information about the battery. Fast forward to Friday morning. I ended up speaking with Janie (customer relations) about the situation. She spoke with both Victor and Wayne. She discovered that three tests were actually done on the car between the time it was dropped off and the time her and I initially spoke and that the tests came back that the battery was in fact just fine. They had no explanation as to why the AAA test came back bad. When I picked up the car Friday, Victor showed me the tests and stated that since the car does not driven a lot (we put 700 miles on it over a 3 month period) that it can give a defective battery reading. Wow!! I never heard that one. Needless to say, not a very good experience from every angle. read more

Honestly this might be the most unprofessional car dealership I have ever done business with. First off, my husband and I stopped in here because of an accident on the freeway that had traffic stopped. When we pulled up to browse, maybe buy, we were instantly 'greeted---assaulted' by the most annoying salesman we have ever met. I quickly explained to him that I had been shopping for this particular car since January and knew exactly what I wanted and was willing to pay. I wasn't interested in his sales routine, that I was very knowledgeable about what I wanted and if he could meet the cash price I was offering then we had a deal. I also stated that if it was a problem for him to do business that way it was not an issue for us and we would just be leaving. I told him that we were pushed for time to get back home and gave him my offer and if he could tell me yes or no. He, of course, nods and then starts the hard sale again which I am forced once again to tell him that is my offer and he can accept or decline. He asks us to come in while he talks to his manager. We agree and then he starts with the sales tactics again. Once again we tell him he doesn't need any information from us, this is a cash sale and he either accepts or declines. After a couple more rounds of him trying to negotiate and fish for our personal information and us getting frustrated with him he brings the manager, Jack, out who accepts our very reasonable offer and we start the paper work. Now the salesman whose caveman sensibilites have been offended by not being able to control this car sale is rolling his eyes at me, only talking to my husband, making smart ass cracks about controlling his wife, basically being as rude as he can get away with and still have us buy this vehicle. Had there not been a short time factor on us getting this vehicle we would have left. We were led into the finance office and worked with Chris who seemed fine. We gave him our cash deposit and told him we would be back tomorrow with the balance. No problem he says, but just in case we don't show back up he signs us up for financing. I was okay with that, although I stated that I had no problem just picking up the car the following day when I brought the money. Jack, the manager, said he would rather have the car off the lot because of insurance liability. Whatever. Jack has us drop the balance off at his house the following day. My husband talks to him and makes sure we will receive a receipt and financing will be stopped on the car. He states the pink slip is your receipt and this is done all the time. Two days later I get a call from Chris in finance wondering, rudely, when I plan on making my payment. I tell him the car was paid in full two days earlier and that I am waiting for a receipt. He says he will look into it the following Monday and call me back. Monday comes and goes, then Tuesday comes and goes. I end up calling on Wednesday and leave a message, I never get a call back. Since then I have called and left messages with Chris 3 times, Michael in Finance 3 times and now the General manager, I have never received a return call. So, after paying cash for a car I sill don't know if the money has been credited and finance has been stopped. Doesn't seem like a lot of ask for! My other daughter decided that is the same car she would like and asked if we could get one for her too........I doubt I will ever buy a Ford again and definitely would Never from Tracy Ford! One other thing that should have been a Red Flag, when we were finalizing our deal the sales manager, Jack, offered to buy our customer survery. He said he would give us a full tank of gas if we would bring the survery in blank. A couple days later, the salesman called and told me repeatedly that our survey was coming and that nothing but "Excellent" (over and over) would do and to make sure that I filled it out and returned it. Avoid this dealership at all costs. They are not professional at all. As soon as you sign on the dotted line the deal is done and you are on your own. As for me, I just hope I don't end up in court trying not to pay twice for the same car! read more

Awful awful customer service. Dropped off my car Wednesday around 930 am. By 4pm no one had given me a call for an update so I called them. They asked me to leave a message and Said someone would call me back. No one called me back until the next day around 11am.(they didn't even tell me they were going to need my car over night)no apology, nothing. They said my car should be done later that day..... of course we never received a call and they kept the car another night. We didn't get the car back until SATURDAY. Then my husband asked for a shuttle To come pick us up since we didn't have a Car. They FORGOT to send someone until we called and hour and a half later, and they stated the shuttle driver was busy in the shop. When we spoke to the driver he said he had been bored doing nothing for the past hour since his leg was broken!!!! We will not be back.... read more

I recently went to Tracy ford to receive a refund from gap insurance from a previous vehicle being paid off. I started looking around for a possible commuter vehicle. As this was happening I was contacted by the GM. He said he would with me if I was interested in purchasing a vehicle. The GM set me up with salesman. Juan. 1 year later the car turned out to be a lemon. I was hopeful for Ford but within the first year the Fusion literally started to fall apart. Not sure if 'Made in Mexico' had something to do with it but the paint was peeling off after 6 months and interior trim panels were coming off, not too mention the MyFord Touch in daily use is a complete failure - and that for a $35k car. Overall it's very cheaply made and I'm glad BBB forced Ford to buy it back (even though until the very last moment they denied everything!). I know it has nothing to do with the dealership but be careful buying Ford vehicles. After this experience, I have to go back to my belief that American manufacturers only make good trucks and body on frame SUVs, everything else is disposable crap not made to last more than a few years (or months in my case). read more

My mom and i have been trying to find her the perfect car for absolutely years. We've had a hard time picking the right car for her. Last week we went into Tracy Ford and looked at a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback EX. The car was immaculate inside and out. It was fully optioned out with just about everything you can think of. My mom and i instantly fell in love with it. We test drove it and it drove flawlessly as well. With the car exceeding our expectations, we agreed to buy it. *** Awesome car buying experience... best ever *** On December 27, 2013, I bought my wife a 2014 Ford Explorer as a surprise Christmas gift and the entire experience could not have been better. I had actually made arrangements to purchase a Chevrolet Traverse and drove from Pleasanton to take delivery, only to learn it had not yet arrived and wouldn't for another two hours. This gave me time to walk next door to Tracy Ford and check out a Ford Explorer, just for peace of mind. I explained to Fernando (salesman) why I was on the lot and simply wanted to check out an Explorer with no intention to buy one. Fernando politely offered a test drive in an Explorer and to also test drive a Traverse they had taken in as a trade-in (a 2012 with low mileage). I am grateful he did as I bought a better vehicle. Briefly stated, I would like to thank Fernando for his professionalism and confidence in his product. I would like to thank Holden (salesman assisting Fernando) for putting together a fair deal. I would like to thank Bobby in finance for his professionalism as well. I would like to also thank Lucas (detail shop) for going above and beyond in making a brand new car look even better. Car buying is just painful.Tracy Ford provided the least annoying experience of my search, but still left a bit to be desired. The salesmen were keying up to pounch while I was still parking my car. the salesman I ended up with was very nice, but he never stopped talking. Never. I was trying to compare different models and couln't focus on the sticker info. I actually had to leave, research the cars I was interested in on line, and pick one before returning to make my purchase. I never actually found themodel I was most interested in during my perusal. It was buried on the lot somewhere. They were happy enough to pull it out for me when I asked. From that point on (making a selection) to signing all the paperwork was smooth. Still, they glissed over some things, like what is involved in the extended warranty. I am really happy with my Ford fiesta. I DO want to give them props for having a great selection (over 30 models of the car i was interested in) and I was really happy i was able to keep the money in my home town. I went into Tracy Ford looking for a used truck on Tuesday. When I told them that I was hoping to find something for around 16,000 they laughed at me instead of being professional and explaining to me that they had nothing in that price range, and offering to show me what they did have. I have to say that the last used F150 that I bought was in great shape and I paid 3500 for it and still drive it today, but the air does not work that well anymore. So yes, I guess I was clueless, but I am 63 years old, and had no idea how prices have soared. I left and vowed to never return. My husband started chatting with them on line and asked me to go back to test drive the 2016 F250 last night that Tracy Ford has advertised on the internet, turned out the truck had electrical problems starting at 40 miles when it was brand new. Don't know if it still has them because electrical problems can be intermittent, and they told me that the owner had lost a key, so they had to make two new ones, but that was not what the carfax said. I actually got a printout of the repair invoice, without the old owners name, of course, and it said eletrical system concern, so they cut the owner two new keys, bottomline is he traded it back in after only owning it 11months. So they still have the lemon on their lot, and it is not in my yard, thank God! Eventhough, they stopped following through with my husband online, it has been days ago that he asked them to resend some info to him, my husband told me to go back and look at the brand new 2017 F250lx. They said they didn't have any but would be happy to show me upgraded models (everthing else that was more expensive). I have a massive headache, and am sooooo done with Tracy Ford. read more

Sadly, Stan Morri's shop is one of those dealerships which seemingly continues to provide the stereotypical 'bait-n-switch' used-car game. If you wish to try them, I'd suggest that you THOROUGHLY do your research, and be prepared not to stay if they begin "the sales-dance." I had been told that we had "an agreement," therefore driving 45 minutes to reach Tracy, only to be made aware that we did not have a deal and therefore was invited to do the "used-car-sale-dance" with the manager. I left, gladly, without the car. Therefore, I've taken my business to a very honest and reliable man named Mr. Gol at the San Leandro Ford. As a prospective customer, I am very disappointed. I called today around 12:30, spoke to Marvin about a used vehicle. I wanted to know the price as it was not advertised online. He said he would find out and call me back. Two hours later, and no call from Marvin, I called back. I really want this car. Spoke to sales manager, Steve, who was able to give me the price, then said he would have the Internet sales team call me to get details, and try to arrange as much as possible through the phone and email, as I live two hours away. It is now 5pm, and still have not heard anything. Again, I am a prospective customer, who showed major interest in one of their cars. I called twice, that should have been a big sign for them to take time to talk with me. I really wanted that used 4Runner. I guess they don't need my money. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

If we could give them no stars we would. The service department is the absolute WORST! Had a 10 am appt for a serpentine belt to be changed. Called throughout the day to check progress on it and left message. No call back. No surprise there. Finally at 4:30 we have to call again to check status. They're working on car and not ready. We had to drive down there and lo and behold the service manager finally walks over with paperwork and acts like they did a fabulous job. I had an appt so I didn't waste all day waiting around and it's not done till the end of the day? Then he has the nerve to say are you upset? I went off. I just had a great experience at Tracy Ford. Don't get this place confused with the previous ownership Stan Morri Ford. I would not have purchased a lug nut when it was Morri. I can only speak for their service side (although one influences the other). I just got $4800 worth of repairs done by Tracy Ford. Everything was handled in a very professional manner and no corners were cut. I would like to thank Jonathan in the service department for that. He made the personally made sure that my experience was a positive from start to finish. I've had similar experiences at other local dealerships that were not nearly as smooth. I own 3 fords that I have serviced at Tracy Ford. When I'm in the market for my next Ford I will go to Tracy Ford. read more

I am writing this review on my father's behalf. I came to Tracy Ford with my step dad to accompany him during his service appointment. We met salesman Baker, and he gave us a free appraisal on my step dad's Ford F-150. Long story short, he ended up with a newer F-150 with the same payment. Baker saved him a ton of money. He was a complete gentleman, and did not fit the salesman stereotype that we all know and hate. He listened to us, made polite suggestions, and made us feel as if we were having a simple conversation with a trusted friend. Although we did not meet anyone else in sales other than Baker and Matt, they were a great representation of the dealership and they WILL be earning our business again. My brother went to Tracy Hinda after an extensive research for a new Honda Elite car. He found the best deal here. Ola was the sales guy my brother was in contact with. The individual who assisted is was Chris. He went over the paperwork very thoroughly and also had a good test drive. He was very efficient to review the paperwork and get us out in a timely manner. He even wished my brother a happy belated bday since his bday was a day before. Once we hit the financing part amd completed that the car was gased up and washed. Chris went over all the details of the car and asnwered all the questions we both had. I just bought this car from Infiniti of Elk Grove 3 mos ago. It broke down and Geico (I LOVE THEM) towed me there. Jonathan in the service department was amazing. He was empathetic to my plight, helped me about warranty. Spoke to Infiniti and if it wasn't for him being so honest and straight forward, I would have never got the deal I did with my dealership.
