I would give ZERO stars if possible. My fiance and I went here Saturday Aug 18th around 1pm'ish to look for a possibility of some fleet trucks for the company we are starting up. I was even going to look for a Vehicle for my personal use. The minute we entered the lot...(Phil) walked up beside us and introduced himself and asked if there is anything he can do to help. I said "no, we got it from here. We'll ask for help if we need it, thank you". Then he graciously left. Things were great and we were making our way through the lot. Then this Tall, lanky, white-shirt-wearing guy asked if we needed help. My fiance said " nope, we're looking, thanks". Then the BOZZO walked along side of us and said: "Well, my Manager really doesn't like to allow people to walk through here by themselves.......blah blah blah". My fiance and I instantly turned around and left. F-you! We sat in our truck, and in disbelief said: "What the hell just happened here?" As we drove out, we saw the "Salesmen", including Lanky-boy just jabbering under a tree doing NOTHING! Phil had the nerve to wave "bye". Yeah...whatever! #1! Why didn't the guy just say "we don't want you here"! Is it because my fiance has tattoos (sleeves) on his arms and legs? He was dressed in a Polo shirt and jean shorts. Was it because my hair was a mess? Did I not wear the right shoes? What??!!! We're potential CUSTOMERS! We wanted to see what Tracy Ford has to offer. Then...we get INSULTED!!!! #2! Before I saw him, I called over 5 dealerships and explained my situation, and was given confusing and conflicting answers and felt like the reps did not even want to even try and see what they can do for me-because it would be too much work. I went in, knew exactly what I wanted and how much I could afford. The truck I was interested in was at my price point as long as it was at 0% for 72mos. I Had been in communication with Joel Smith via email as to a price on a truck I was interested in. Joel was not there when I arrived but another salesman, Henry, he was ok but the guy working the numbers (didn't catch his name) left much to be desired. I told him exactly what I needed, what price Joel gave me on email ( I provided the email and they pulled them up) and the % that I needed to be at.His first offer was almost double of what I could afford. He was not giving me the price I was originally quoted by Joel. It was such a waste of time. I had my kids with me and was told my time was valued, but I was not made to feel like that at all. I am not sure why Henry even bothered sitting me down if he knew that was going to happen. Will not return or recommend. It's almost disrespectful to give someone an offer that is not even close what they tell you is affordable for them. It makes a customer feel like you were not listening to them or don't care, and that is a huge turn off. UPDATE: Got in contact with Joel and he gave me almost exactly what I asked for. We bought a new truck from these guys and we were really happy about how easy the sale was, from the salesman to the finance guy, the was no B.S., no game playing. My husband called around to find the truck he wanted, saw it on their lot after hours, and was sure it would be more than he wanted to pay. He was going drive o another dealer several hours away. When he called to see if Tracy Ford could match the other dealer's price, they did. We were so happy to walk in and out in less than an hour in our new truck. We have purchased many new vehicles over the years, and this one one of the least painful. We will go back to them for our next truck. read more

This review is on customer service of the service department. I went in on 6/18/2018 to have my oil changed, my brakes looked at, and a strange popping the brakes were making. I made an appointment at 7 a.m. and arrived at 6:45 They didn't open the parking lot until 6:55 which was fine so I pulled up to their door and asked an employee if this door (in the photo) was the one I was supposed to use. To which they responded yes, but that they didn't open until 08:00. I said I had a 07:00 appointment, and they said they were sorry but there were not open until 8. Well they ended up being wrong. No biggie, so I go in drop off my car and wait in the waiting room for 3 hours, with no update. So I go to the counter give them my cell number and let them know I will be headed out for a walk and to call me with updates. So I go see a movie, and receive no information during this entire time. So I call them at 11:41 and am told no one in service is available but that I can leave a message. So I leave my message and go about wasting more time waiting for them. I still get no call and call them back at 12:08 and I get the same story, no one is available but I can leave a message, so I do. Still no call at 2:21 so I call back, and I get the same story, no one is available to take my call but I can leave a message. This time I ask to talk to the service manager, but.... you guessed it, he was unavailable. So I left him a voice mail and the secretary was nice enough to leave him a message on his desk also. So the manager eventually calls me back at 5 PM to let me know they can't figure out what the popping is from and need me to go on a drive with them. Anyways the mechanic was nice, they are nice enough in person and on the phone. But trying to get someone on the phone evidently is not their strong suit. read more

Last month I was there was for an oil change. I opt to wait for the car since it's just an oil change. Waited maybe a little over an hour only to be informed that my tire has a screw/nail and it's not repairable cause my tires are pretty worn. So I decided to get new tires. It will take a while (a couple hours they said) so they suggested for me not to wait. It was 11am that time. They gave me a ride home and will call me when it's ready. Hours just went by, no update or anything. I had to call. Talked to the receptionist and somebody called me back. Only to be told that car's alignment is off so ok, another Idk, $80-90. Car finally got done at past 4pm. They threw in a free car wash to make me feel better I guess? Tuesday last week, engine light came on, my husband plugged the scanner and code showed Cylinder 3 misfire, scheduled an appt and the earliest they have is the week after. Appt was for 10/9 @ 730am. We dropped the car off 10/8 @ around 430pm. Promised to get a call midday but nope, I called at 130pm and advisor said they just got the diagnosis. Wow took them all day to figure that out! And guess what?, the diagnosis is the same as what my husband told them, Cylinder 3 misfire! So yea, car won't be ready, give us another day. Yesterday was the day, Yay, I finally got my car back! Brought it to the carwash before heading home. This morning when I was leaving for work, engine light is back ON! After work my husband plugged the scanner and wow, just wow, Cylinder 3 misfire! Car is back there as we speak! Hope it gets fixed! This is very frustrating! read more

Their service department is straight arrow! Great service on both my Fords, a 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid and a 2003 Ford Escape that looks like it just came out of the showroom. He then told me that I needed to fill out a form. I asked why. He said that he could not answer my questions until I filled the form out. I said that was stupid and wanted to talk to a manager. 8/5/13 Called for a service appointment, "Oil Change". I was transferred 4 separate times to service and held about 4-5 minutes each time. I'd hang up and then immediately called right back to say still have been connected. Last Time, (while still on hold) we just happened to be passing the Tracy Ford lot. I pulled into the service area, got out of the car walked in to the empty service desk and for an appointment. At the end of making my appointment for the next day, I said to the Service Adviser, I'm the guy on hold, pointing to my phone. He looked down and said, "I don't have anyone on hold". 8/6 Next day, Service was quick, and effective. They found a bad battery and advised replacement. I declined at first, then hours later called back and requested the change. The change was made but too close to the bill to be updated. I don't expect it for free of even discounted. I didn't notice the difference as I had approved Front Disc and pad changes with some coupon discounted price. Later Tracy Ford called back and asked that we return to Tracy Ford to pay the updated bill. We declined, they then asked if we'd pay by phone. My wife asked for the Service Manager, he wasn't in. She asked for him to call us. 8/8 Still no call from the Service Manager Wayne and we still owe them $115 or so. While looking over the receipt, It was supposed to have included a rebate for the oil change. Summary, In my opinion: Internal communication problems have caused the majority of the problems with customer service in my scenario. An apparent lack of Service Manager leadership two days after the initial problem simply compound these issues. I would NOT recommend any services from this franchise. UPDATE: The bolts securing the Caliper to the newly installed disc brakes were not tightened sufficiently and consequently fell off. Opps. Don't go there. read more

I would give a Zero if I could. Not cool at all Ford, you left a bad taste in our mouth so bad that we are now going to buy a Toyota! (never bought a forign car before). The sales people were pushy and we had one sales guy at first.. who suddenly had an appointment he had to go to and they gave us another guy, a 70yr old santa looking guy who was extremly nice, he was the only good part of our day there. But in sitting with this guy we saw the other younger guy walking around trying to hide from our view. when the sales manger tried to make us a deal and shake our hands, all of a sudden the first sales guy showed up to shake hands too.. then the rates and trems werent what we wanted and they couldnt get us to the payment we wanted they made it seem like if you cant pay this much more than you want to pay then you wouldnt be able to pay at all. they frustereated us so much with the numbers and going back and forth with the sales manager that all in all we left with out signing and buying. Good thing too, found cheaper ones of what we wanted at other deals, with the color we wanted. they were trying to stick us in a color we didnt really want and told my wife, who is blind, that maybe she could be color blind if the price worked out.. but they really didnt even bend on the price at all like they could have after we checked out other deals. They never call you back, tried to scam me out of $1800, and tell me I did not have a warrant on my car when I have full coverage. I had to call the warranty service and have them tell Ford how to do their job. Darcy was my service tech and she never answered my phone calls and never called me back. I am still waiting on a call back from two weeks ago, and yes i have left multiple messages. What a joke. This is the third time I have brought my car here and every time it is the same experience. A year and a half ago I bought a 2011 f-150 from the used car lot here at tracy ford and unfortunately i have had nothing but issues with my purchase. Me as a buyer understands that things can go wrong with a used vehicle but when you buy from a major lot like tracy ford you hope for the best but like I said that was not the case. First I had taken my truck in because of noise coming from the front driver side tire ,so being that i had bought the truck from tracy ford and I bought the extended warranty i decided to take it right back to them. I took it into the service department and the guy comes out "knocks" on the rim and tells me i have a bad rim and that the cladding was coming off and that was the noise i was hearing. I ask how much to replace the rim and they quote me 450 bucks!!!!! So i tell the service guy its ok id rather just buy a different set of rims if I'm gonna pay 450 for a ford oem rim. A couple months go buy and the noise got extremely worse so i decided to take it to heritage fords service department. There they took the rim off and come to find out when I bought my truck from tracy ford they didn't place the bolts back into the caliper!!! I drove around with my caliper loose on the rotor with it rubbing the rim and that was the noise i was hearing!!! My water pump went out and it took tracy ford a week to even figure that out the whole time with them telling me there was nothing wrong with the truck. My Coil went out and had to get the plugs replaced and also the blend door went out. Since i had all the issues i contacted ford to try and get out of this vehicle by getting into a new truck. They offered to try and help me so I decided to go back to tracy ford after speaking to one of their reps to see what they can do. So I went back today mind you I bought 2 cars from them in the past 2 years to see what they can do to get me into another truck. So because of the negative equity on my truck this was gonna make it tricky because it was a large amount. I looked at a truck that I did like so I decided to sit down and see where they were at for the payments. This was the first time I spoke to Eric Manzel who is the one who works out the payment info. At first he came back and told me basically it was unrealistic to expect the same payment or anywhere near that payment because of the cost of the truck. I understood and was disappointed that I had to stay in the truck I have had nothing but issues with. So I asked just so i knew what kind of car would be near the payment I needed to be around. He says ok let me look so he comes back and tells me his other associate is going to pull a ford fusion around for me to look at because that would be in my price range. I decided to take a look even though it wasn't a car i ever looked at. I went out and test drove it and i felt like it was a bit cramped so I spoke to my wife about what if she took that car and I took hers since she has a full sized sedan. So we asked what the payments would be if we decided to get that car so he came back with a number and I was pretty hesitant because i didn't have a lot of money to put down and he kept asking for us to put down a number that was out of our reach. I told him a certain number that I could try to do and he asked if i could do a little more which is a normal thing that these guys do to get all they can out of you and then I told him that i just spent 700 to get my coil and plugs replaced and thats why i coudnt put more down so he made a remark of asking why i can't put more down. To me this was pretty rude considering its my money and I know where i stand with my finances and thats none of his business and when i say the amount i can try to put down thats what i could try to do and thats it. He says hold on i'll be right back so i talked to my wife and i told her since it was a car we never looked at maybe we should take some time to think about going into a car like that. When he came back I told Eric that i needed to think about it before i made the final decision and thats when he became even more rude. He asked me "what is there to think about? i had him go do "all that work" just for me to think about it." I told him "look i know i made you do some work but i have to think about going into such a small car" and all he kept saying was i made him do "SO" much work and there shouldn't be anything to think about and all the time he said this with such a rude attitude i couldn't believe it. I have been to 3 car dealerships for my self and a friend in the past 2 years and have never been so disrespected. I understand i made him do his job and i guess i shouldn't have done that because that was what he said a few times. Finally i told him there is no reason to be a d*** to the customer who is just seeing what i can do to get out of a truck with problems. Slow service. Made an 8am appointment for an oil change on my Expedition. I had a 12noon appointment- which I missed because the service was slow. I arrived at 7:30 thinking I could at least check in before my appointment time however they did not open the doors until 8:01. Check in and they say they have free alignment checks, I agree to the check and ask how long the wait is. I'm a mom and have my 1 year old and 2 year old with me. They say 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs max. I think that's a little excessive for an oil change but say "okay" and arrange to get picked up since I know my two kids won't be that patient. THREE HOURS LATER I get a call that they finished the oil change but the inspection shows I need an alignment. I ask how much longer - they say no more than 30 minutes. I agree and head over to the dealer so I could get my car - the rep said it would be done at 11:30 at the latest and I could still make it to my 12:00 appointment. I arrived at 11:20 and it wasn't ready. I asked if I could pay then so I could leave quickly once it was ready - I was told that was not an option. Okay fine - I wait. They weren't finished until 12noon. I missed my appointment. Cost $200 and 4 hours of time. read more

Took my car in and they had me waitng for shuttle for 20 mins, then called me to say the shuttle was on it's way and 30 mins after that I called them to find out where they were! I heavily stressed to him not to waste my time, gas, or vehicle use unless he had in stock exactly what I wanted. They deserve a -5 for customer service in the Service Department. The service rep was very unresponsive to all of my calls. I first called to book a service appt and order a part, she said she would call me right back after looking up the part. A week later I called to check on it and she dropped the ball! That should have been my first clue. Once the part arrived we made the appt to put it in and took the truck to them. After several days of no calls I called, left a message. I called the following day, left another message. I called the following day and left another message; this time she called back. It's now a Friday afternoon and I needed the truck for the weekend. The service rep said she would check on the status and call me back. She didn't!!! I called the front desk and asked for a General Manager and was told they don't have one. WHAT. I called again and left a very detailed message to the Service Manager. That guy didn't call me back, ever. I called the Sales Manager to see if he could help but he couldn't. At this point I'm wondering if my truck is even there anymore. Finally after a week and leaving many messages with several people the Service Rep calls me back. The work I requested was done, took a few hours. I knew the truck needed more work but I refused to spend another dime with them. I got my truck the following day but now there is a problem with the brakes that wasn't there before. I took the truck to Left Coast Diesel and they determined that the ABS module is bad. It was fine before I took it to Tracy Ford!!! Avoid the Service Dept. read more

While where do I start. I have a Ford Focus Electric vehicle. This dealership recently was certified as an Electric Vehicle Service Dept, so when mt vehicle broke down with a Stop Safely Now notice I had it towed to Tracy Ford. I should have just went ahead and had it taken to Big Valley Ford in Stockton. Once at Tracy Ford the service writer was good and assured me there was no problem and the Senior Tech would have it repaired as soon as the problem was diagnosed. The next day I received a call that my vehicle was ready. Humm....alarm bells. Too soon from what I've read about this type of warning. Anyway, iff to Tracy Ford. Repair under warranty and I'm told it was just a minor software update. Off I go to the car wash. As I'm leaving the wash I get the same warning. It's 110 degrees outside and I'm less then a mile from the dealership but I have to wait for another tow. Back at the dealership I'm told they would look at the "codes" again to determine what failed. I wait a few days and I've had no contact from the dealership. I call, placed on hold. Hangup call back. Finally reach someone. Told it was the Transmission Control Module (TCM). Would be 3 to 5 days to vome in. I wait the week and call back. After several calls I reach a service writer. I'm told Ford just approved the warranty work and the part was on order. After several more delays I'm told the part was installed but Ford had to rewrite the software. Five weeks later I get my vehicle back, with some help from Ford's Customer Care Team Manager. My entire experience was horrible due to the total lack of communication by everyone at this dealership. As I picked up my vehicle I told the service writer that if my vehicle blew up in front of this dealership I would not return. BTW The Ford Customer Care Manager promised to credit my lease account for the month I was without my vehicle, although it had to be processed by Tracy A Ford. This transaction took 22 emails and numerous calls to get completed. Six weeks later I received a check and not a payment to my account. There's much more to this experience then I have room to write but the point is communication is not this dealerships strong point. After all I understand Electric Vehicles are new technology and thete will be bugs and problems as we see more EV's on the roads. Believe it or not, had fun test driving the cars in till I found what I wanted !!! The sales person was cool and funny made this transaction easy and fun !!! All people involved were nice and funny . No pressured me in to anything I didn't want . Got a descent price on 2017 Ford Escape . I am not local to this dealership, but arranged the purchase of a car through email and phone calls. My funds to complete the purchase were pre-approved. The deal involved a dealer trade; I could tell by the stock each dealer has in the area. After being told it could be done AND giving them all of my information such as drivers license copy, insurance information, SSN and more, I never heard back. I called and emailed several times. No replies to calls, (each went to voice mail), no replies to emails, nada, zero, nothing for 5 days. I finally gave up. If you can't make the deal, JUST LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW!!!! read more

So I've been looking at getting a Ford Edge. I found one at Tracy Ford and I decided to pursue it. I emailed the dealer and told them I was interested. I made an offer on the car and it was too low per the salesman. The next day I emailed the Salesman and made another offer. This time a different salesman who is the internet sales manager , James , and says we've accepted your offer when can you come in. I go to the dealer and James says we've accepted your offer but what did you want to do with the balance ? So now my offer has a balance and it's no good. I asked why he told me the offer was accepted , he said I didn't really know what was going on I was just responding to an email. That's the most pathetic excuse I've ever heard.
