After having dinner with coworkers, we stopped into TP Tea. They are in the same strip mall as 10 Butchers, Meriwest Bank, Ramen Kurasei, etc. The parking can be challenging during peak hours in this medium sized lot. Inside is cozy with a couple of tables. Two kiosks machines to order from and one unisex restroom. The service was friendly and efficient. Boba Milk Tea: Classic Milk Tea with BOBA. Boba included! Stopped by bc I love TPtea and was curious about their bogo!! I ordered the Snow Jasmine bc i love their jasmine milk tea. Though I was disappointed to learn you cannot order different sugar levels even though its the same drink? :/ I'm sharing the bogo with a friend and they like to monitor their sugar levels when ordering, so we were excited to order it for the one time. Thanks :)
I'm so happy that TP Tea has expanded so quickly over the last few years. Used to just be a long expected wait at Cupertino off Blaney, but this Sunnyvale one is a super convenient location to me with not too much foot traffic. It makes for a great post-grocery treat after Mega Mart down the street or a post-dinner dessert after Seapot or 10 Butchers. I recommend 50% sweet here for all drinks if not 25% as it leans a tad sweeter than Cupertino in my past 5 or so visits. The Strawberry Milk Tea's been my favorite but the Tie Guan Yin & other TGY variants have been my go-to order for the last year. Delicious, perfect quantity, and great toppings to drink ratio. Never had a bad TP Tea experience here and I haven't had to wait longer than five minutes for my drink at any given time.
We usually get the Taiwan classic milk tea hot, which is really comforting and nostalgic. But since it's getting warmer, we decided to try the lychee fresh milk - not sure if this is seasonal/temporary. Got it with 50% sugar and it was perfect! The lychee flavor is strong without being artificial and blends perfectly with the milk. Highly recommend
Came here during lunch after having ramen next door. It was craving for milk tea. I didn't know that they had this limited time flavor when I went on Snackpass app to order. I ordered their limited time, Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. With 80% sweetness and it's perfect with the brown sugar drip. I would say the sweet spot is 80%, I wouldn't go lower or higher on the sugar level. The Sum seating area if you wanted to hang out here, also some sitting outside. Parking is easy to find, there's a lot of parking during a weekday doing lunch. The service is very fast. I think they were busy with online order pick ups, because the Snackpass said it was going to take 20 minutes, but it actually took like five minutes. I really like that there is a TP nearby now and they expanded, I usually go to the one in Cupertino, which is a little further away from me. So this is very convenient.

We had just finished up dinner at 10 Butchers so just walked over. It was moderately busy for a boba tea shop at the time, but we managed to find a table for two in the corner. I wanted a matcha with out milk, but apparently they don't do that here. I asked if it was because their matcha was premixed and at first they said yes, so completely understandable. But then they changed their minds and said no, it wasn't premixed, they just can't do it. Odd answer as why can't you just not add milk? It's like asking for a shot of espresso without milk and having a coffee shop tell you they can't do that. Overall just an odd thing, but I ended up a black tea instead. The tea was fine. The grass jelly was silky and the boba was soft with a nice chew. The atmosphere is typical to that of a tea shop. You can definitely have a convo while chilling here. I'm not sure when they close, but my gf and I were catching up so we spent a good 2 hours here. They were refusing orders towards the end. Probably cuz they were already closed and just letting people stay while they put things away? Not a bad tea spot if in the area. Tho I do wish I could have gotten that matcha without milk if it wasn't premixed. Oh well. REVIEW #3747
The experience is just okay. Parking is easy since they share a lot with other shops in the plaza. Self-order was easy and not much of a line. There is limited seating and feels more like a pick-up/to-go place rather than a place to sit and hang out. I got the brown sugar milk tea with 30% sugar and it was still super sweet, which is kind of expected for this type of drink but a girl can hope lol the boba was decent, but nothing mind blowing. I would rather try new places than return again
TPTea is my favorite boba place in Sunnyvale because their tea to milk ratio is just perfect and their boba is so chewy. They also give you pretty substantial amount of boba! I can order boba ahead of time on snackpass so it was super fast, waiting for me when I came to pick up the boba. There are lots of parking and seating options in sunnyvale location. I would highly recommend their boba milk tea.
Gina yin milk tea with boba is their best drink. The guan yin tea has a special after taste that is very refreshing. The sesame fresh milk is great too, it's creamy with strong sesame taste.
Located in on el Camino Parking is easy to find There are 3 kiosks to order from. Around 3 tables inside and a couple of tables outside. Place was practically empty when I went on a Monday evening Ordered the TYN milk tea. It is customizable ice and sugar level. I ordered less ice with 30% sugar. Wish they had a stevia option. I added boba to mine. The boba is smaller than those at other places but nice soft and chewy. It was much more enjoyable Also ordered the limited time orange milk tea. The sweetness and ice level isn't customizable on this one
Happy anniversary to my favorite shop for milk tea in the Bay Area! They were holding a BOGO events and tote bags for the first 100 customer this weekend, and I went with my friend to celebrate :) The wait was a little long with the event, but the workers were so thoughtful to pass out small cold cups of their tea offerings while we waited in the sun. Tie Guan Yin cream cheese foam - wow the cream cheese foam is so delicious! It's thick and super cheesy/creamy. The tea comes through as you sip the foam top so you get a taste of both at the same time while you drink. It's the perfect consistency! Strawberry Matcha Latte - I didn't know that their matcha is also solid here, but this drink was also very good! I like to drink 15% sweetness here usually, but I opted for 0% because the strawberry puree is already sweetened, and I thought it was the perfect level of sweetness for me. My friend ordered the other two drinks and was told they were also solid! Hopeful for more years to come with TP Tea, thank you for always serving the best milk tea in the area!
In a plaza so there's plenty of parking. Ended up waiting 20 minutes for a drink and 2 snacks even when the store was almost empty. (There is a note that bubble waffles take 10 minutes). It was warm in the store so we opted to sit in their outside seating. Enjoyed the hot taro drink, would order again. I opted for 80% sweetness but it seemed pretty sweet so I would lower down to maybe 50% sweetness. I like that you can taste real taro. Popcorn chicken had delicious flavor but was not as crispy as I would like. Original bubble waffle was great and had a slight maple syrup flavor.
Totally recommend this new drink. It was surprising delicious. The sesame flavor is strong. The sweetness was just right with my own lower adjustment. The pearl is very unique. It's a lot chewer than normal pearl and less sweet. I enjoyed the drink and would come back for more!!!! read more
FINALLYYY another TP Tea is in the Bay Area! This location has three ordering kiosks and a couple tables. It's a very small cafe, so don't expect too much seating when it's busy. My go-to is always the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea with boba. You can't go wrong! Fragrant tea and the perfect milkiness. Other menu items I typically order: Strawberry Milk Tea, Boba Milk Tea, the Mango Ice Tea. I need to try their salted cheese cream foam next time! read more
A new boba joint in my neighborhood! Had to give it a try! Glad to see this plaza having more interesting stores opening! The store is clean and bright, not a lot of seating but I expect most people to just grab their drinks and go. There are clerks behind the counter, but they didn't make eye contact with me nor greeted me, so I just ordered from one of the 3 kiosks. I ordered my usual, wintermelon with tie guan yin oolong tea, less ice and add boba. I only realized after I took a sip that there was no option for sugar level, which is not unusual for the wintermelon flavor. I checked back at the kiosk, other flavors do have a sugar adjustment as expected. I went slightly before noon on a Saturday, didn't have to wait to use the kiosk and the drink came out in ~12 minutes which is respectable. Flavor was on point, and their bobas are smaller than I'm used to, but it's not a bad thing. Overall a pleasant experience, will come back again! One of my recent favorite boba places. Same great drinks as Cupertino but way fewer people. My defaults are lemon black tea or mango boba milk tea. Parking is pretty bad in this plaza though. I usually order on Snackpass app so I can just hop in to pick up my drinks. read more
My Treasure Taro Milk Tea with pudding was great! The price was a little steep at about $7.50, but you can expect that kind of price at most boba shops. The store was small but clean and nice. I like the mascot on the wall. The staff was nice and helpful, they let my buddy know they had just ran out of boba when he was about to order. Saved him some trouble. I'd definitely come back! read more
TP Tea is our favorite all time boba shop. The Cupertino location is a bit of a drive for us so we are so happy to have TP tea in Sunnyvale. Plenty of parking - located in a small strip mall. Two kiosk to order and you can also order with a person as well. Drinks are made fairly quickly. This store is a bit on the small side with 2-3 small tables. Not a place for hanging out with friends. Got their signature TP special and Strawberry tea. Both as good as we recall. Can make adjustments like sweetness, toppings, and ice level. read more
I had been watching this spot ever since I saw the TP Tea sign go up outside. I love the TP Tea in Cupertino. I was really excited to see that there will be one in Sunnyvale because this location on El Camino Real is so much more convenient for me. Parking is easy. There were plenty of open parking spaces when I arrived. This location is smaller than the one in Cupertino. When you enter, you will find 2 order kiosks to the right, 1 order kiosk straight ahead on the counter, and a bench along the left side wall. There is no public restroom. We ordered 3 drinks this visit : TGY Family Milk Tea (it has pudding, boba and coffee jelly) Taiwan Classic Milk Tea (it has boba, QQ noodle and grass jelly) Strawberry Matcha Latte (added boba) We tend to adjust the sweetness and ice level on our drinks. This was possible for the TGY Family Milk Tea and the Taiwan Classic Milk Tea. Sweetness adjustment was not possible on the Strawberry Matcha Latte. Because of this, the Strawberry Matcha Latte was slightly more sweet than we prefer, however it was still a delicious drink. This is such a pretty drink with the colorful layers. My favorite as the TGY Family Milk Tea. The coffee jelly is good. The boba was decent, not overly hard or overly mushy. The TP Tea cups are on the tall side and it feels like the straws are a bit short for the cups in that they don't stick out very far above the seal at the top of the cup. . read more
If you like strong tea taste, then this is a good place to get your milktea or boba drink. I'm glad they are finally open, it's nice to have alternatives when you're craving milkteas. I ordered the Black Tea Cheese Cream and it's decent. Strong tea, with the cheese cream to lighten it up. I ordered 30% and the sweetness is very faint. One of the least sweet I've tried. They have kiosks for ordering so it's pretty easy. They have a few tables and seats for customers both inside and outside the store. read more
We went during their soft opening and stood in line for over an hour. They were having bogo (same drink). My friend came too so we were able to mix and match. The kids got the mango passion and enjoyed it. They said it was better than momoo. I got the fantastic fruit with qq noodles 0 sugar and it was prefect! So refreshing. Taiwan class milk tea for hubby was delicious as well. It was very milky/creamy. Looking forward to coming back...but not gonna wait more than 10 minutes for boba. read more

TP Tea is a grand opening in Sunnyvale on Jan 14th, so I decided to give it a try since I've heard of its good reputation from my Taiwanese friends for a while. They are running a BOGO promotion but on the same item only, so you have to get the same drinks for two cups. It's smart that way for them to rush out the orders with half the confusion and process time. I decided to try their Teguan Yin latte with 15% sugar (trying to be healthy) and no ice (no dilution). Even though it was on a promotion, I lined up at 1:39 and finished my order by 1:50, and got my drink at 2:05. In normal times, they have 2 order kiosks inside and a QR code to order online. There's only a small bench with 2 round tables for seating inside, so I imagine most orders are for takeout. The Teguan Yin latte did not impress me on the first few sips. I felt the tea flavor was not too stand-out, and the milk was not creamy enough to get out the dairy taste (and not much sugar also did not help). I gave it a rest and tried it again. I could taste the tea flavor this time, but the whole drink lacked a bit of depth. So overall I gave it an average and not like super impressed. The staff was all hands on deck, and a member came out to explain their promotion on Instagram's lucky drawing, which was helpful. The overall operational flow was quite smooth. read more

Boba Milk Tea Judgment: A tea is smooth and made smoother by the light but confident cream hits the right level of sweetness and achieves spot on balance between the main components pog pearls (squishier and smaller in higher quantities) not even close to being filled to the top but also kinda expected on a BOGO day bout a 35 min total wait/turnaround, but typically there's some level of wait/turnaround time even without BOGO and they always work pretty fast a lil bit of lenience is afforded for specifically BOGO days but tbh you can view BOGO days as a limit test, which measures the skill/consistency of the workers, efficiency of the whole process that translates to total wait time, and management training/scheduling appropriate staff to prep for these days a place that handles itself well during BOGO, especially in terms of consistency, is a place that deserves respect $5.95 1/11/25 read more
You order through a kiosk and just a note they do not currently accept cash! It is in the same plaza as 10 Butchers kbbq. The Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea was pretty good! A good milk tea taste and I loved the boba! The boba is a bit tinier than the usual boba balls and I loved the texture. The taro drink is thick and very generous on the taro! We added more milk when we got home haha to make the drink last longer! It is pretty small inside no tables inside or outside but they do have one long bench to sit while you wait for your drink! I will definitely come back to try some other drinks! read more
So happy TP Tea opened a new location in Sunnyvale next to Xiaoman Rice Burrito- what a great combo! The lines aren't nearly as long and the wait is minimal. You can order at the front where the tablets are and there's plenty of room to wait for your drinks. I tried their strawberry matcha with boba and wasn't disappointed with how it turned out- very creamy had a good balance of strawberry and matcha. The boba was nice and chewy and tasted freshly made. The quality of TP Tea keeps me coming back for more and this new location makes it more convenient! read more
Place as a lot of unique tea flavors and styles. Most of the ordering is digital done. Loved the drink, Qq noodles, topping is the most unique thing about this tea shops from others. Didn't realize the service would be fast on a weekend still. Finding parking was difficult, but there was plenty to just grab-to-go orders. I really appreciate the indoor & outdoor seating, while I wait for my order. Place got a nice vibe to it and felt modern. I got recommend to go by a co-worker. Definitely worth it for tea flavors with a twist. I would recommend it as well. read more

This TP Tea is located in a pretty busy plaza. Use the snackpass touchscreens to order. It's easy to keep track of the order pickups as they have both a mic announcement and a number sign. The tea in the signature black tea latte (with boba) was a bit light, not super strong. It felt watered down. I wasn't super impressed with this drink. The boba was just ok. A bit too soft. The treasure taro milk tea with pudding on the other hand was pretty good! The taro was nicely cooked, very soft and smooth. The flavors of everything blended well together. The tea flavor was better in this one. Creamy milk tea. Tasty pudding, a bit sweet. Good delicious treat! read more
I think this specific TP Tea is an introvert's dream: 1.) 3 kiosks for ordering (workers are busy preparing drinks with no interaction if you don't want to) 2.) They have a speaker and order number stand so you clearly know when your drink is ready by hearing the number being called plus the flashing red number. Not only that, ordering on the kiosk will also send you a text to your phone that your drink is ready. 3.) Relatively small cafe but perfect if you just want boba to go. (2 tables outside and a couple inside). Other than that, this is a solid option for boba tea in the bay area located in the same plaza as 10 Butcher's BBQ. I think this is a genius location since you can either get it before eating there if the line is too long or come get a top off after the meal. Parking can be a bit tricky as this plaza gets pretty full with all the new food shops nearby. Lots of people just put hazard lights on and park on the curb. So far I only tried the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea and found it to be pretty strong on the "tea' side of things with less emphasis on the milk. Boba was delicious but I think the proportions are a bit off as I ended up with no more drink but a ton of boba at the bottom of the cup. I really want to try their other drinks next time (Strawberry Milk Tea, Strawberry Matcha Latte, Taiwan Classic Milk Tea, etc.) Can't wait to go back! read more

Wow another location opened up in Sunnyvale! Although south bay prob has enough locations, this is conveniently located near my dentist hehe. Ask drinks were 5/5. I got the mango aiyu jelly fit tea and really loved the mango chunks with the stronger taste of the tea and jelly. It tasted really balanced! Boba was pretty good too. My fiancee got the strawberry milk tea which is his favorite there. My dad got the boba mango drink and accidentally added more boba but he enjoyed that lol. Can't wait to be back after my next dental visit! read more
Saw TP Tea while I was waiting for a table at 10Butchers. Was intrigued to buy it because of the previous Yelp reviews. When you step in, there are touchscreens to your right to place your order. If self sufficient and easy to use. I got swayed by the "Best Sellers" screen and saw there was a drink they just brought back. 'Taiwan Classic Milk Tea' I just had to try it.... Once I received the drink tho, the flavor was underwhelming. It was more milk than tea flavor. Just tastes less than basic for an item considered on the best seller's list. I'm a little reluctant to come back. There are other boba spots in the surrounding area I'd probably visit first. read more
One star because they made a wrong drink (dietary restriction) and were defensive. I ordered a Moo My Taro drink with oat milk and paid extra. I picked up drove back about 10 mins, and realized it tasted like dairy. My stomach had already started acting up. I drove back and asked the person on the counter if they made a mistake and gave me a drink with dairy milk. One person said it wasn't dairy, tried to be defensive - also tried to match the color of the milk and Calafia oat milk with the one I had. Dairy has a distinct taste and as someone who doesn't drink it, it's easy to make the difference. I kept telling them that I can taste dairy. The max they offered was to re do the drink (which I refused). It would have been okay if they would have accepted if it was their mistake instead of being defensive. If you are ordering non dairy milks, please be careful. read more

great drink and fresh boba! got a regular black milk tea with boba, regular sweet, less ice and it was perfect! boba was very fresh and soft. service was good, it's a small place. orders are best for to go since seating is extremely limited. you can order ahead online as well. read more
Ordered a classic boba milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice. The boba pearls in here are relatively small compared to other places I've been to but it is plentiful and I really enjoyed being able to chew the boba slowly while drinking the milk tea at the same time throughout the time because of it. Limited seating, but very popular location in a busy plaza. Plenty of people here as well so the parking lots ends up being busy with people standing outside hanging out and chatting. read more

4.8 stars. TP tea is one of my favorite boba chains. It could be that I'm biased towards the fact that it is a taiwan based chain, but I genuinely enjoy their selection of drinks and their snacks. The Sunnyvale location doesn't have popcorn chicken, but they do have bubble waffles and fried tempura. They are tasty but if you're looking for popcorn chicken, the Cupertino option would be a better bet. My go to drink at TP tea would either be their strawberry milk tea or tie guan yin milk tea. I typically go with 30% or 0% sugar and I find it to be just right. There is usually a small wait for TP tea and this particular location has very few seats indoor. Overall, I think the drinks are generally pretty consistent and I would definitely recommend checking TP tea out. read more

Dating my review because I came again. I really don't like that you cannot customize a drink such as I said I wanted the Matcha tornado but to add strawberry. They said we cannot customize it. Second you cannot pay with cash. I like the stuff they line the cup with but it wasn't as much as the first time I got this drink. this time it tasted a little chalky read more

Wow, I can't believe how many times I passed by and never tried this place! Got the mango cheese foam for my boyfriend and the uji matcha latte with cheese foam. Loved the taste of the matcha; best I've had! Even the cheese foam was perfection! I received order quickly. There is a booth and tables on one side of store and ordering kiosk on the other. Two tables and chairs are located outside of shop if you want to enjoy drinks here. Will definitely be back!q read more

tp tea is my all time favorite boba spot and i am happy that the sunnyvale location has opened -- much less crowded than the original cupertino location. the consistency varies a bit between locations, with the boba texture and sugar level, but overall i find tp tea has the strongest tea with a good creamy ratio. con is that this location is more of a takeout spot as there are ~2 tables inside and ~2 small tables outside. wait times here are shorter than other locations in my experience. tip: order ahead online on the snackpass app to skip the line (add me mirad) favorite drinks include the tie guan yin (earthy oolong) and pearl milk tea (black tea) for the strongest tea flavor. jasmine milk tea is good too but lighter tea flavor so it is more creamy. i usually get 30% sweet since some locations have been too sweet at 50%. overall though, 100% recommend tp tea for their pearl milk teas. read more
