Pretty decent place. Some of the stuff seems like it should be heated but it seems like those are under warming lights that barely warm. The other pastries are pretty good and the things with fresh cream is nice. The red bean buns are life. I will warn though, sometimes the customers are just rude to other customers and even the staff. Aesthetic wise they one of the prettier places. If you want a quick pastry place to eat I'd recommend it but there aren't a tin of seats so keep that in mind. read more

First impression:clean,cool,nice. Their breads and pastries are tasty! They bake bread daily with fresh condition. Also the employees are nice and welcoming. I recommend sandwich looking bread that has ham and cheese inside. It's really tasty and one of my favorites! I tried strawberry fresh cream and chocolate filled slices of cakes. It was awesome! Stopped in here for a last minute cake for Mother's Day. If I did not like their pastries I would not put up with the hostility of the staff to the patrons. I waited five minutes to be helped and the girl behind the counter did not answer my question concerning the filling of the cake. I was given an attitude if I wanted it or not. After I purchased the cake, they informed me that they were giving away a free hamper or USB with the cake which was nice although it was just them trying to get rid of their Xmas inventory. The snarky cashier made a big deal of it though, informing me that it was extremely generous that they were giving away 'gifts'' because it was a holiday. Yes, we all want a Bart Simpson Xmas 2016 USB rather terribly enough to buy a cake. This bakery is really beautiful and very inviting, and all the food looked amazing. But they are pricy. I got macaroons (I think $4 each) with two different flavors. One was rose which i liked, and the chocolate one wasn't that good. I also got the green tea sliced cake with the strawberries ($6), and I've got to say, I'm really dissapointed with this one. It was way too bitter so i couldn't enjoy the green tea portion. I loved the cream and the strawberries though. If that slice had more strawberries, i think I would have felt the bitterness a lot less. read more

Upon entering the store, I noticed cute and impressive displays of the pastry and desserts. The prices were decent , better than I thought. The food here is great, service is good - only one problem. Every time I have been here, THE BATHROOM IS ALWAYS TERRIFYING. This could be a great place to see a friend, grab a snack and study, but I I don't want to spend any time here since the bathroom is awful. I've seen this bathroom covered in urine, no toilet paper, floor with puddles - and one of them is always out of order. Even stupider, there's a sign inside where they check mark that the bathroom is up to par when it's clearly not. I love this food - but TAKE IT TO GO, the facility is a mess. When I first discovered the walnut bread, I went often. Pretty much that would be the only thing I get since most of the pastries are heavy in butter. I don't even know when they stop making the walnut bread but I like the cold sweet milk coffee. Today, just about two hours ago, I went and got the cold milk coffee with a chestnut bread. It was a long line at the register probably short staff. I told the cashier, Korea chick, I want the cold coffee with milk (POS1-2, POS:02-03149284). She told me the milk is in the back. I realized I might not specific enough, so I said to her is the one behind her, the register. I said it's the coffee with milk one, not the cold black coffee. She answered okay to me. While waiting for payment transaction, she put milk in the plastic cup, I was wondering why, and put the black coffee. I stopped her immediately and said it's the milk one not the black coffee. She made a sound, ignored me and continued to fill up the cup with the black coffee. She moved to her left and pressed a few pumps syrup, and gave it to me and said: "it's the same thing". I told her it's not the same. I certainly wasn't happy. I really want to leave the coffee on the counter. It was a line and didn't want to make a big scene. I tasted it and it was not good at all. I usually drink back coffee, but I felt like to have a sweet mike coffee in a warm sunny day. I was very disappointed and not happy with the cashier's attitude. How difficult to change it? I have been coming to Tour Les Jours since it opened located on Union St and 39th Avenue in downtown Flushing. This morning on 7/1/18 between 10:00 am - 10:15 am, I bought a chocolate croissant and almond croissant which I loved and a cup of tea with milk. The Asian young guy at the cashier took my order for the milk tea. While I was waiting, he rubbed his fingers all over the rim of the cup which is unsanitary and disgusting. I politely told him I do not want this cup since he touched all over the rim and asked him for a new cup. I told him twice "no sugar" in my milk tea. Once I arrived back to my apt, I tasted the milk tea and they put "sugar" in it. I was quite annoyed. I never write a review on restaurants or bakery but I had to state how incompetent this worker is. I really hope the owner of Tous Les Jours read my review. These staffs seriously need better training!!!!! I will never step foot in this place again since this was not the first time the staff treated badly!!!!! read more

Very cool looking French. Style bakery ! Great varieties cakes & pastries but the problem is not a good sitting arrangements they have.As a customer I would definitely prefer less people with large amount of spaces but as a biz owner I would be smarter just the opposite.Hey it's NYC use your space properly not overly cramped though.And also another issue is no rest room to wash Hands before you touch your food or use bathroom at all.I know they have a problem at the window side where people wait to see if the bus is coming or not.Thats not cool.2 stars down becoz of no restroom & Lack of sitting arrangements.Over all I have to give them excellent critic with other stuffs & cute girls . I love coming here. It seems they always have a new pastry to choose from every time I come here. Selections are always fresh. They have a nice sit down spot in the back as well as their own 4 spot parking lot which as we all may know can be a pain in the ass. The only downfall is prices are a bit high. read more

I liked that they had cakes, macarons, etc., which could be ordered with the help of the employees, as well as having a section where you could choose your own pastries/breads with tongs, bring them up to the counter, and have them boxed to stay or go. The TOUS les Jours on Union Street and flushing is by far the most unprofessional, discriminatory bakery shop in flushing. Their contradict their service and their customer service by far in awful. Jennifer at the register is rude and has no customer service etiquette whatsoever. I have been a customer for over 2 years and have been purchasing a $3.27 iced coffee every evening before work. I particularly like their coffee so I continued to purchase coffee from them rather than my preferred choice of "Starbucks". When I buy my iced coffee the company has a card that will allow for a free coffee after the 10th purchase, however I do not drink "hot coffee". Reluctantly, the store would honor my free coffee and give me the "iced coffee" in substitution. Today was a different situation. The "girls" at the counter were very rude and gave me such pushback with getting the supervisor who "was not there" but magically appeared when I stayed and demanded a supervisor. My issue is that you circumvented your "reward rules" on other occasions to suffice the customer, now it's an issue. So in short, I did not receive my free coffee of which I have been paying the exorbitant coffee cost daily, sometimes twice a day. I am an African American, female and was treated with such indignity. This will be my last coffee and all the people I refer will no longer support TOUS les jous. First time visit to this bakery chain. Although I had never heard of this place, it came well recommended by friends due to their selection of both European and Asian baked goods. I tried the brioche tower and chocolate croissant which were both delicious. Wish I had time to come for a second trip to try more things! I really loved the large selection of pastries in this bakery and it was great to be able to see fresh baked goods continuously coming out of the kitchen. read more

This time I tried a milk bubble tea (I've had many favors before, but never plain milk and the girl behind the counter recommended it to me).. it was good if you like something not quite as sweet as the taro, coconut, etc. options. I also got some macarons-- this time they had vanilla, raspberry, pistachio, blueberry, green tea and orange. I bought 6 (vanilla, pistachio, raspberry). The only annoying things about these delicious treats is that they stale VERY QUICKLY -- to the point where they are inedible. So, only recommendation I have is to eat them quick because they are soooo good when fresh, albeit only for a short amount of time!
